Killing Game Time! (Prologue Part 3)

Danganronpa x Assclass AU

Part 1 Part 2

Sugino, Kayano, and I started to look for any other students. We went from classroom to classroom but couldn’t find anyone. Then we came to a set of stairs which were behind a gate.

“Huh, what’s the deal with this?”

“Seems like some sort of gate.”

“It’s blocking the stairs. Is there something up there?”

Sugino tried pulling up the gate but it was no use.

“Ugh well, if something is up there, doesn’t look like we can get to it with this in the way.”

“Maybe, they’re building something up there?”

“Could be.” 

If they were building something up there, wouldn’t there be some sort of sign with the gate? Also, it’s not like this school is new or anything, what else could need building? Are they adding new stuff or something?

We decided to brush it off and continue with our search.

After a while, we heard something down one of the halls.

“Huh, what is that?” 

“Not sure, but it’s coming from over there.” 

We went a bit closer to where the sound was coming from and it led us to a pair of doors.

“It sounds like people talking.” 

“Maybe they’re other ultimate students?” 

“Well, there’s only one way to find out.”

Sugino pushed open the doors. On the other side we ended up finding other people with similar uniforms we were wearing. They were so busy talking that didn’t even notice that we just came in until the door shut behind us. Everyone then turned to look at us.

“More students?”

“Looks like it.” 

“13,14, and 15. So we currently have 15 students in here.”

So, these are the ultimates I’m guessing.

“Did you guys pass out and ended up waking up in a classroom, too?” Asked a girl with brown hair and a ponytail.

“Yeah, that’s right.”

“We all did as well.” Said a boy with two antennas on his head.

Then a buff guy yelled out, “Just what in the hell is going on exactly!?”

A bunch of murmuring then filled the room. I couldn’t quite tell what anyone was saying but I could certainly tell that the majority of them were were in a state of panic. 

Until, the tall girl with straight bangs broke the chain of murmurs. 

“Guys, guys, I know this situation is a little…concerning but, I’m sure there’s some sort of logical explanation for this. Now, does anyone remember how they got here exactly?”

The short girl with short hair spoke up, “Basically, I was planning to go to Kunugigaoka but just after I stepped through the door I felt dizzy and then before I knew it, I was in a classroom.”

“That’s the same as me.” 

“Yeah, me too!”

Everybody in the room seemed to agree with the girl’s statement. 

“Okay, since we all know that we all had the same thing happen to us before coming into the building, does anyone have ideas on how that happened in the first place?”

The room fell silent for a bit.

“So, nobody’s got anything?”

“Ooh,” the guy with a shaved head started to speak,“maybe somebody drugged all of our breakfasts while we weren’t looking. Explains the memory loss and the passing out, dontcha’ think?”

“U-um, not to be rude or anything but, I don’t think that’s entirely possible.” At that moment, a girl with glasses and braids started to speak, “For one thing, I highly doubt someone could manage to drug all of our breakfasts undetected. Even if they did, some of us might have eaten solid foods like toast which can’t be drugged easily. Another thing, I don’t think all of us ate breakfast at the exact same time. That means, the drugs would have kicked in at different times for each of us. So logically, some of us would’ve passed out before even stepping a foot near the entrance unless if they got there earlier. Hehe, I’m sorry.”

“Aw man, I thought I had something.”

“Way to go, Einstein.” the blonde girl said, sarcastically.

“Hey, I don’t see you coming up with anything!”

“Why does the explanation of how we got here even matter? I don’t know about you guys but, I want to find a way out of here.”

“Did you try that?” Kayano asked, pointing to the door on the other side of the room. 

“Sure did, we didn’t have any luck though.”

“What does that mean?” 

“I don’t know if it’s locked or what but that door is absolutely impossible to open. Even that Meat Head over there couldn’t open it.”

“HEY! WHO YOU CALLING A MEAT HEAD?!”

“Anyways, we might as well try to find another way to escape. I know that the windows are a no-go, I saw that they were all bolted shut.”

“Maybe there’s some tools we can use to dig a hole or break through the walls or something.” 

“Maybe so but, where are we going to find that stuff anyways?”

“I think I saw a storage room somewhere. Maybe there’s something in there we could use.” 

“Good idea. Hey, Meat Head? Can you find the storage room and look for any useful tools in it?”

“Why do I have to? Also, STOP CALLING ME MEAT HEAD!” 

“Hehe no, just go do it.”

“Ugh, FINE!” 

The “Meat Head” was about to leave in search of any useful tools until we heard some sort of buzzing.

I looked up and it seemed like it was coming from an intercom above us. The noise continued for a while until,

“Testing one, two.” 

“What in the..” 

We heard a voice coming from the intercom.

“Good morning! All ultimate students report to the main hall. We have a surprise for all of you. Don’t be late.”

The voice in the intercom sounded so cheery but eerie at the same time. I wasn’t sure how to feel about it. 

“What was that?” 

“The more important question is who was that?” 

“Should we go?” 

“What if it’s some sort of trap?” 

“I don’t want to know what would happen if we don’t go.”

“Maybe we should go. We might get an explanation for this whole thing.” 

“I guess that settles it.” 

This certainly wasn’t how I imagined meeting other ultimates. Hopefully, we all get out this soon. Maybe, we’ll be able to actually have a normal school year. After this point at least.

At this point, ChiHo is the only right answer because the resemblance is so uncanny, I literally gasped when I first looked up who the characters are omg

You know it's bad when I suffered after watching a playthrough of danganronpa v3 :')

I don't know who exactly this underrated character you speak of is, but I'm just gonna assume it's either Chiba or Kaho cause they're the ones whose content I put so much care of. And I'm really happy that you liked what I've been putting out when it comes to them 😊

I know this answer was quite late, but making art of this cute idea has always been the plan, and I just wanted to do it when I'm most comfortable with my art style.

Have any Danganronpa x Assclass crossover dynamics you would find interesting 🤔

ooo this is an interesting one! I put a "keep reading" thing because this gets long.

(oh man, why are there so many characters?!)

Trigger Happy Havoc:

Okay so straight away, Makoto and Nagisa. "Normal" boy who is also the Ultimate Hope plus "normal" boy who is also an assassin prodigy. Plus, local sunshines. I can see Makoto being "adopted" by the entirety of Group 4 if I'm honest, I just get that vibe.

Aoi I can see bonding with the more athletic students like Sugino, Kimura and Kataoka (especially Kataoka). Also she gets along with Kayano really well.

Byakuya...hmm. I can see him hanging out with Gakushuu and his friends. Karma takes one look at him and I don't think I need to explain where that goes.

Celeste is another hard one to place. I can kind of see her vibing with Kanzaki and Isogai, but what exactly that would involve I don't know. She definitely gets involved if there's some kind of bet going on because of course she does.

Chihiro I can see hanging out with Itona and Yoshida and if you think they don't nerd out about Ritsu when they meet her you're wrong (and if you think they don't immediately introduce Ritsu to Alter Ego you're wrong again) /j They get "adopted" by the Terasaka Squad. They also hang out with Nagisa sometimes but not

Hifumi and Takebayashi, need I say more? He hangs out with Okajima as well but not as often. I can also see him hanging out with Fuwa because fellow manga enthusiasts.

Junko (if we're assuming this is a no despair thing) I can see her hanging out with the girls a lot but I don't really know any specific dynamic, maybe Kayano?

Kiyotaka, Isogai and Kataoka, need I say more? I can definitely see them helping him loosen up a bit, since y'know? Class reps and everything. He's also one of the few kids who don't give Karasuma grey hairs /j

Kyoko, I can kind of see her hanging out with Nagisa and Fuwa because I remember seeing posts about those two being the detective duo of 3-E and I vibe with it. She's also very confused about how no one's managed to figure out what's going on yet.

Leon, my mind immediately goes to Sugino for obvious reasons. Sugino's very confused about this kid who's extremely talented at baseball even though he claims to hate it. The two of them end up playing a few games together, the others collectively fear for whoever ends up playing against them in the future.

Mondo vibes with the Teraska Squad, but especially Yoshida. He butts heads with Terasaka sometimes but it's never anything too major.

Mukuro is another hard one because we don't really see a lot of her, I don't really see her hanging out with a lot of them, maybe the sniper duo? Whatever the case, she definitely jumps in when training is brought up. She probably ends up getting picked up by the Terasaka Squad as well.

Sakura, definitely vibes with the more athletic students like Aoi does. I can't really think of anyone specific right now though.

Sayaka I can see vibing with Kanzaki and Kayano.

Touko probably hangs out with Hazama a lot (I can also see Genocider hanging out with her as well).

Yasuhiro is another tricky one to place. Definitely vibes with Korosensei.

Goodbye Despair:

Hajime also hangs out with Nagisa (because protag) but not as much as Makoto does. I can see him hanging out with the Terasaka Squad mainly (Izuru definitely gets along with Itona and, to a lesser extent, Kayano).

The Ultimate Imposter pretty much just hangs out with whichever group the person he's currently disguised as would. But as for him specifically, I can see him hanging out with Kayano and maybe Kanzaki to a lesser extent.

Chiaki, hehe. Well I've made it pretty clear in the past that I like to think Kanzaki has gamer rage, so new gaming buddy! Also Ritsu, she definitely hangs out with Ritsu a lot. Generally speaking Chiaki seems to be fairly similar to the actual protagonists of Danganronpa when it comes to befriending people, so just throw a few handhelds in the mix and you're good to go.

Fuyuhiko definitely classes with both Karma and Terasaka, no one knows whether or not it's serious.

Gundham, Kurahashi's right there! Need I say more? He also hangs out with Hazama.

Hiyoko...again, I can see her hanging out with the other girls but I don't know anyone specific.

Ibuki I can see vibing with Kayano and Fuwa.

Kazuichi is more or less the same situation as Chihiro, except I don't see him hanging out with Nagisa all that much.

Mahiru, again, hangs out with the other girls but I can't think of anyone specific.

Mikan definitely checks people over after each training session, I can see her being friends with Okuda.

Nagito I've kind of already talked about in a previous ask, but he's definitely one the Terasaka Squad picks up.

Nekomaru, again hangs out with the more athletic students. I can see him having a particularly good friendship with Sugino.

Peko hangs out with the sniper duo a lot, she also respects Nagisa's capabilities. She respects all of them really, but those are the main three.

Sonia I can see hanging out with Isogai, Kataoka, Kanzaki and Hazama. She hangs out with most of them really, but those are the main ones.

Teruteru I can see vibing with Okajima. He also hangs out with the other students who like cooking; Muramatsu, Hara and Kayano.

Killing Harmony:

Kaede gets "adopted" by Group 4, but she gets along with most of the class. I can see her vibing with Kayano and no it's not just because they have the "same" name.

Angie definitely does a few projects with Sugaya, and I can see her hanging out with Hazama.

Gonta befriends Kurahashi pretty quickly, Hazama sometimes hangs out with them as well. Honestly I can see him getting on with a lot of people in the class.

Himiko is another tricky one, I think she'd get along pretty well with Okuda and the other quieter students.

Kiibo, I feel like this one's obvious but Ritsu. Also Itona and Yoshida to a slightly lesser extent. I can see him vibing with Nagisa as well.

Kaito and Sugino brotp when?

Kirumi, again, that's another one for the class reps. I can also see her hanging out with the "mom" squad as well as Kanzaki.

Kokichi, oh boy, he meets Karma and Nakamura and everyone immediately know's they're doomed.

Korekiyo is another tricky one, maybe Hazama?

Maki, just like Peko, I can see hanging out with the sniper duo and Nagisa. She also gets on well with Itona and Kayano.

Miu, same deal as Kazuichi. But I can also see her hanging out with the other girls and also Maehara for some reason.

Rantaro and Maehara brotp when?

Ryoma I can see hanging out with Sugino, but he gets picked up by the Terasaka Squad.

Shuichi, again, he gets "adopted" by Group 4. I can definitely see him being close to Nagisa and Sugino.

Tenko I can see vibing with Yada and Kataoka.

And finally, Tsumugi definitely vibes with Fuwa and Kayano. She's practically a fusion of the two of them /j

Killing Game Time! (Prologue Part 2)

Danganronpa x Assclass au

Part 1

Sugino and I left the classroom to look for other ultimates. But, before we could continue any further…

“AH!”

“AH!”

There was a girl with green hair and pigtails just near the door.

“Oh, hey there. Phew, you guys kind of scared me a little”

“Oh, sorry.”

“It’s alright. So are you two students here?”

“Yeah, are you one?”

“Yup! I was supposed to be going to Kunugigaoka but before I could even make it through the door I ended up passing out and waking up in a classroom.”

“Really!? That’s the same as us!”

First me, then Sugino, and now her. Strange.

“How about we introduce ourselves? My name is Sugino Tomohito and I’m sort of the ultimate pitcher. This is Nagisa and he doesn’t remember his talent exactly.”

“Doesn’t remember his talent?”

“Yup!”

She took a look at me

“Yeah, it’s true.” 

She took a step closer

“Woah, your hair’s pretty long for a boy.”

What’s with this sudden change in topic.

“Oh uh yeah, I want to get it cut sometime but there’s a reason I can’t. I just decided to stick with a ponytail until then.”

She looked at me for a moment

“Hey, can you take your ponytail out for me, please?” 

“Uh, okay?” 

I did as she said.

“Okay, now hold still.” 

She took out two hair ties from her pocket and went behind me. She then started to move my hair around. If I’m being honest, it’s kind of weird to have a girl other than my own mother touch my hair. 

After a minute, she was finished 

“And there we go.” 

She held up a small mirror to my face and I saw that she decided to put my hair into pigtails. 

“Now we’re matching!” 

“Ooh, the pigtails fit you well, Nagisa.” 

Having my hair in something other than a ponytail is sort of weird but it’s honestly a nice change.

“Oh I probably should introduce myself as well. My name is Kayano Kaede and I’m the ultimate prop master.” 

“Prop master?” 

“Basically, I work behind the scenes in plays and stuff. The school I went to before this did a lot of those and I always chose to be in charge of props and stuff. I usually make props and special effects but I sometimes take part in doing hair and makeup.”

It wouldn’t be surprising to see an ultimate actor or even director here but an ultimate prop master? Now that’s something I haven’t heard of.

“It might be a bit weird to you guys but I prefer to stay in the background than be in the spotlight. I value helping others more than having the attention being all on me.”

Prefers staying in the background, huh? I can kind of see where she’s coming from.

“Well anyways, Nagisa and I were just about to look for more ultimates. Would you like to come with us?” 

“Do I even have a choice? I do not know my way around this school in the slightest.”

“Neither do we actually.”

“Well, still beats searching alone.”

“Yeah, you’re right. Let’s go then, we don’t know how long we’re going to be looking for so we better start now.”

Then we went off to search for the other ultimates having absolutely no clue where to go. Well, this is off to a nice start.

Danganronpa x Assclass AU

Hey, My name is Shiota Nagisa but, you can just call me Nagisa. Despite how I look, I’m your basic average guy who doesn’t really stand out much. But that might change today. Today I’m supposed to be going to Kunugigaoka Junior High. It’s a place for the best of the best aka the ultimates. Graduating from Kunugigaoka can set you up for life. Kunugigaoka scouts students talented students from around Japan and I’m one of those students. This is my chance to actually be noticed.

I stood there in front of the building. “Just a few steps from now and I’d be set up for life. I wonder what the other ultimates would be like. I can’t wait!”

I opened the door to the school and stepped inside. 

Suddenly, I felt a wave of dizziness. Next thing I knew, everything went black. 

………… 

“Huh, where am I?” I found myself waking up on a desk in a classroom. I looked around and saw all the windows were bolted shut. I also spotted a security camera in the corner of the room. “Uh, what’s going on?”

I got up from the desk and examined the room even further. “Is this supposed to be some sort of prank?” 

Just then the knob on the classroom’s door started turning. I quickly went to hide under one of the desks. Then the door opened.

“Hello is anybody in here?” I heard a voice call out. It sounded like a boy my age. I then came from under the desk. “Uh, hello?” I saw a boy that had blue eyes and dark hair. He also was wearing red wristbands. Must be an athlete.

“Oh, hey there. Phew, glad to find somebody else here. I woke up in the classroom next door and I’m guessing you woke up in here, correct?”

I nodded

“Geez this whole situation is weird. First I was just about to start my first day of school and the next thing I know I completely passed out and woke up in a classroom.”

Strange, the same thing happened to me. What’s going on?

“Oh yeah I should introduce myself. My names Sugino Tomohito and I’m the ultimate pitcher I guess. Nice to meet you.” He put his hand out towards me, which I shook.

Ultimate huh? Does that mean I’m still in Kunugigaoka? Also what does he mean by I guess?

“Now what’s your name?” 

“Oh, my name is Shiota Nagisa but you can just call me Nagisa and my ultimate talent is… huh?” Wait, what is my ultimate talent? I tried to remember it but nothing came to mind.

“Sorry I can’t remember what my ultimate talent is for some reason.”

“Really? Well, I guess that’s sort of understandable in this situation. I mean we randomly woke up in classrooms without having any idea on how we got there. Forgetting your ultimate sort of makes sense.” 

Yes but it’s strange how he managed to remember his talent and I didn’t. Surely it’s not a big deal, right?

“By the way, you said you were the ultimate pitcher, right? As in baseball pitcher?”

“You know it! Although I wouldn’t say that I’m really ultimate at my pitches. The other players on my team are way better than I am. Don’t know why I was the one that got picked to be an ultimate.”

“Well, if you ask me, everyone is talented in their own ways. Sure your pitches may not be ultimate to you but may have been for the people picked you to be here.”

“Hm, never thought about that, thank you. You’re totally like a therapist or something. Hey, maybe you’re the ultimate therapist.” 

“Hehe, while that does seem cool, I highly doubt that’s the case.” 

“While we’re on the topic of ultimates, do you think there’s other students around?”

“Maybe, the school seemed pretty big from the outside so they could be scattered from all over.”

“If that’s the case, you want to go find them together? I’d probably end up getting myself lost. Also, the more people the better.”

“Sure, I’ll go with you. Although I have to admit I’m kind of nervous. It’ll be kind of awkward if I’m the only one who can’t remember their ultimate talent.” 

“I’m sure it’ll be fine. Besides, maybe you will remember your talent later.” 

Hopefully he’s right. I don’t want to stand out for the wrong reason. I was pretty much an outcast before I made it to this school. I just hope my talent isn’t too weird.

We all attempted to make our way to the main hall. We decided to let the tall girl with the straight bangs and the guy with the two hair antennas on his head take the lead since they both seemed to be very leader like.

It took a while but, but it looked like we made it to our destination.

“I think this is it.”

“I’m still not sure if we should go in or not.”

“What could go so wrong?”

“Lots of things.”

“Let’s just go in.”

We opened the door and was not expecting to see someone on the other side.

“Oh, hello guys.”

We found a boy with red hair and golden eyes. Wait is that…

“K-Karma is that you?”

“Hey Nagisa, long time no see.”

“Wait, you know him Nagisa?” Sugino asked

“We used to be friends but, we kind of split apart.”

Karma is definitely a unique person. He may seem a bit sleazy at first but, trust me, you do not want to mess with him. I’ve seen him take down a guy twice his size before. It’s surprising he made it to a school like this in the first place with his track record.

“Who the hell names their child Karma?”

“Both of my parents had very bizarre tastes. I don’t mind it though. The name Karma can really strike fear into others dontcha think?” Karma said with a devilish grin.

“Excuse me, uh, Karma? Where were you exactly? The rest of us met up at near the entrance but you weren’t there.” The tall girl with the straight bangs pointed out.

“I woke up in a random classroom and after that I decided to look around the school for a bit before the announcement was made. Speaking of which, I found this on one of the desks.”

Karma pulled out a picture. In it was a girl wig green eyes and orange hair who was holding some sort of bug. She had on a grey uniform that looked like it belong to this school. Under it it said “Kurahashi Hinano”

“From the looks of it, none of you are her, huh?”

Everyone shook their head

“Hmm, interesting.”

Just who was that girl? Was she an old student or something? Why was her photo in that classroom in the first place?

“Well, it probably doesn’t matter now”, he put the picture back in his pocket. “I guess I should properly introduce myself. My name is Karma Akabane but feel free to call me Karma and I’m the ultimate-”

But before Karma could finish introducing himself, 

*Bzzz* “Hello again students!”

It’s that voice again

“Now that everyone’s in the main hall, it’s about time for that surprise I mentioned before. Just a heads up, what you’re about to see may be considered shocking for you guys.” 

“Uh, Shocking?”

For a moment, we all just stood there in confusion. Next thing we knew, there was a gust of wind that came from behind us. We all looked to where it came from and was certainly not expecting the thing that we saw.

“What..”

“The.. 

“FUCK!?”

Before us we saw some giant yellow creature. It had tentacles like an octopus, a big wide grin on its face, and was wearing some sort of professor’s uniform.

“Nurufufufufu~ Why hello there, students.”
