A weird question but how would the story be like if Nagisa was turned into a cynical person since beginning due to being abused by the psycho mom and bullied by the main campus students?
This one's interesting because Nagisa was already a bit cynical at the start of the series, so this is very much a case of what would have happened if he'd stayed that way. This could get a bit long -winded, so I'm just going to focus on the things that I think would change the most.
Nagisa, at the start of the series, didn't really value himself all that much. Though that's true for the rest of the class (to varying degrees), he was the one who approached Korosensei with a grenade tied around his neck. Now, that wasn't exactly Nagisa's plan, but he still went along with it (albeit, after some coercion). I could see him potentially attempting more plans of a similarly self-destructive nature, though perhaps not as extreme.
I don't see him standing up to his mother like he did in canon, since a more cynical mindset would make it seem pointless. This would mean that Hiromi would most likely succeed in having him transferred back to the main campus, but I also doubt he'd stay there for long (similarly to Takebayashi in the manga), which Hiromi definitely wouldn't be happy about. I also don't see the two of them having any kind of reconciliation like they did in canon either.
I also doubt he'd bring up the idea of saving Korosensei in this particular scenario. It might still be brought up by someone else, but I don't see the issue progressing into the "civil war" we got in canon (which was probably more of a result of unresolved issues between Nagisa and Karma as opposed to the argument about whether or not Korosensei could be saved). This also means that things between Nagisa and Karma likely wouldn't get resolved either.
Those are things I definitely see changing. But there's some other stuff I can see happening differently.
For one thing, in this scenario you said his more cynical attitude here stemmed from bullies from the main campus and not just the way his mother treats him. I can still see him eventually confronting the bullies but not as early as he does in canon (even in canon he's still shown to be sometimes reluctant to stand up for himself against them after the initial confrontation).
I can see his first fight with Takaoka playing out more or less the same as it did in canon. But I imagine the second would probably be a bit worse, depending on whether or not he still uses self-destructive methods by this point.
I think he'd still be the one to kill Korosensei in the end.
There's some other stuff that I'm not too sure about. Would he still try to reach out to Sakura? How would the Kaede situation play out this time? etc...
This was a fun little musing, sorry it's taken me so long to get around to it.

Thoughts on Nagisa and Itona being friends in the future? Cuz I always imagine them bonding over family trauma and shitty childhood experiences.
AND I think they would be videogame buddies. Like i can picture them having an intense FNAF phase at some point.
Itona loving world of tank and other war games and being big pc player. (Also otome games but he would never tell anyone other than nagisa cuz he knows he doesn't laugh at him)
Nagisa being a god at the SoulsBorn games and console games in general, but being awful at romance games
Just them being friends and healing their inner child together y'know?
Hey, sorry it's taken so long to get around to this one.
First of all, yes! Nagisa and Itona would have such a good dynamic together.
Something that I don't really see people mention a whole lot is just how similar the two of them are (though, this is true for a lot of other potential "duos" in this series).
In the beginning, they were both stuck following the paths set for them by other people. Nagisa with his mom pushing him to follow her dreams, and Itona who was used and treated like an experiment/weapon by Shiro.
They both managed to break free from those paths, albeit in different ways. Nagisa, by finding the courage/strength to stand up to his mother (though the handling of that paricular arc was questionable). Itona, who was discarded by Shiro only to find a new purpose for himself by officially joining the rest of the class.
They're both talented in different ways, though initially out of necessity. Nagisa was shown to have a talent for assassination which we later discover came about as a result of his upbringing and how he initially felt obligated to continue with that path simply because it was what he was good at, how he was later shown to also have a talent for teaching which was the path he ultimately chose at the end of the series. Itona who was - for lack of a better term - "designed" to be a good assassin by Shiro (and also under the tentacles' influence) and how he'd followed that path until he was ultimately discarded, how he was later shown to be good with technology after he'd joined the class.
There's also something else about their respective characters that I, personally, find interesting. Nagisa is initially presented as a team player, he's the only one in the class who was shown making notes of Korosensei's weakness at the start, notes which form the basis of many of the class' collective assassination plans and he's shown to work well in a team…however, the nature of his skills as an assassin make him more suited to working solo (something which was made clear in the class civil war arc when Isogai specifically instructed Nagisa to do his own thing, instead of assigning him a specific role in the team). Itona, on the other hand was initally presented as a "lone operative" who was unwilling to cooperate with the rest of the class in his earlier appearances while he was still working with Shiro, only to later take on a more supportive role once he'd joined the class.
I could go on, but I think I should actually answer your ask now haha.
As you said, I can see them starting out by bonding over their respective childhoods. Their situations were different but there's enough similarities there for them to understand each other's experiences. They're perhaps not each other's first pick of someone to talk to (they are both shown to have their own friend groups, after all) but that doesn't mean it doesn't come up at all.
However, one thing I can see them actively seeking each other out for, is adapting to being able to make their own choices. Sure the others in the class don't exactly have perfect lives either, but most of them at least have a goal they're working towards, they have options.
Yes, Nagisa and Itona have goals they're working towards too, but after going along with the whims of someone else for a long time (granted, it wasn't as long for Itona, but it wasn't just Shiro's influence he was dealing with) that I imagine it would've been somewhat awkward to get used to having the freedom to choose for themselves and I can see them helping each other adjust. Sure the others help too, but they don't have quite the same understanding.
Also, yes, them being video game buddies makes so much sense and the games you picked out match them so well (as a fellow FNAF enjoyer, I am accepting this headcanon as one of my own, thank you kindly). I can also see them both enjoying puzzle games though I wouln't be able to name any specific ones off the top of my head.
Nagisa and Itona are also fairly quiet, so I can see them hanging out together to have a break from the general chaos caused by their other friends (mostly Karma and Terasaka). That's not to say that Nagisa aren't chaotic in their own right - because they certainly are - but sometimes it's nice to get away from it.
I can see them both liking comics (mostly sci-fi). Nagisa recommends a few to Itona and it eventually leads to the two of them having friendly debates about them, sometimes Fuwa joins them. Itona has a habit of criticising the technology and inaccurate science which Nagisa finds interesting.
They're protective of each other. Nagisa has enough control over his bloodlust by this point that he can let it out at will, which makes subtly intimidating people very effective. Itona prefers using his drones to cause a series of mild inconveniences. They know the other can defend themselves just fine, but sometimes it's nice to know there's someone in their corner.
That's all I really have for now, but this is a fun little dynamic to think about so I might make another post in the future (no promises though).

Another DGR x AC shipping, this time it's about Nagisa x Mahiru x Kirumi.
Can you give me some nice ideas and headcanons about this trio?
P/S: If you do that, then I will use them for my fic in the future.
Sorry that it's taken so long for me to get around to this one.
Again, just like with most of the other asks of this nature, this is assuming we're dealing with a "no despair" AU and that Nagisa is attending Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Assassin. I'll leave it for you to decide which class he's in.
Nagisa x Mahiru:
< Mahiru wasn't sure what to make of Nagisa at the start
< He's polite and he can be assertive when he needs to be without being an asshole about it, which she likes
< But there's also the whole "assassin" thing
< She's not too concerned about it
< One of her classmates is part of a yakuza family, "assassin" isn't really that a big of a deal with that in mind
< It still makes him feel like a bit of a puzzle to her
< Because Nagisa's nice to most people, and he doesn't really seem capable of hurting anyone (well, he wouldn't if she didn't already know what his ultimate title was)
< His self-esteem's improved a lot since his days in 3-E but he's still a little awkward at times, which only adds to the whole "wouldn't hurt a fly" image he has
< Mahiru has enough self-esteem issues of her own that she kind of finds it comforting
< And then there are the moments where some of his bloodlust slips out
< It doesn't happen all that often, and Nagisa himself doesn't really seem to notice some of the time
< But Mahiru does, and it only makes him more confusing
< It takes a while for them to start hanging out, and they mostly hang out as part of a group when they do
< Nagisa warms up to Mahiru pretty quickly
< It takes her a little longer to warm up to him, though he still confused her
< That confusion didn't really start to ease up until they started hanging out one on one
< They initially start bonding over their respective self-esteem issues
< Sure, Nagisa's aren't as bad as they used to be but he still has his moments
< Mahiru isn't quite there yet, but she's not far behind
< Having someone around who understands helps
< Mahiru tells him about being in her mother's shadow
< The situation with his own mother isn't exactly the same, but it's similar enough
< They bond over that too
< Nagisa tells her a little bit about the whole assassin thing
< Given the whole "government secret" thing, there's not really a whole lot he can say
< Still, she gets enough of an idea to know his record is surprisingly small for someone with an ultimate title
< She does some digging of her own, just enough to get a rough picture of what happened
< She has some questions, but she won't push him for answers if he doesn't want to talk about it
< It takes a while for hanging out to turn into dating
< It was awkward at first but it didn't really change all that much once that faded
Nagisa x Kirumi:
< Kirumi's one of the few who aren't initially thrown off by the whole assassin thing
< Even if she didn't already have an assassin in her class, Kirumi's also done some things that fall under the "morally questionable" umbrella
< She doesn't know Nagisa's reasons, but she won't push for answers
< Partially because she understands the need for secrecy (and it's not really any of her business)
< But also because Nagisa's a decent person
< Nagisa isn't quite sure what to make of Kirumi's ultimate title
< Not in the sense that he finds it confusing, "maid" is pretty normal compared to the ultimate titles of some of the other students (himself included)
< But her willingness to do "requests" without question is one he initially finds concerning
< It reminds him a bit of what he'd been like before his days in 3-E
< It takes a long time for Kirumi to convince him everything's fine
< He's still sceptical, but he doesn't want to push too much
< He tries to avoid making requests because he doesn't want her to do things just because she feels obligated to
< He does sometimes slip up because phrasing can sometimes be difficult to manage in the middle of a conversation but she doesn't mind
< He does figure out a loophole where he can "request" her to take some time for herself
< The first few times were a little awkward
< Nagisa doesn't really like giving orders (because that's basically what the "requests" are) if he doesn't have to
< Kirumi doesn't really know what to do with the "time off"
< They figure out a system eventually
< Nagisa only makes the requests if she seems overworked
< Then the two of them go and find something to do/chill out together
< They get along pretty well
< I can see these two being a case of "didn't know they were dating"/"everyone knows before them"
< It caught them off guard a bit when they figured it out but they didn't really feel awkward about it
< They've been "dating" for long enough by this point that the realisation wasn't too surprising
< They still had a conversation about it but that was it
I don't really have any headcanons for Mahiru x Kirumi at this stage, but I might come back to this ask at some point in the future if I think of any.

Another AC x DGR ship idea. This time is Nagisa being shipped with those girls:
- Celeste
- Mahiru
- Maki
- Kirumi
Do you have any ideas or headcanons for each ship?
I won't be doing Mahiru & Kirumi for this ask because I've got another one lined up for those two and I don't want to repeat myself too much.
Also, for the sake of not overcomplicating things, this is going to be using the same "no despair & Nagisa attends Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Assassin" setting from the Kirigiri ask.
Celeste:
< She noticed him at first because of his bloodlust
< He doesn't exactly display it openly
< But the whole "Ultimate Gambler" thing makes Celeste pretty good at reading people
< She was curious about him initially
< He doesn't really act the way most people would probably assume he would as an assassin despite having all the skill of one
< They don't actively seek each other out initially
< Celeste doesn't really have much reason to speak to him at the start and Nagisa gravitated towards some of the others instead
< They still talked, but not often
< That doesn't really change until towards the end of their first year
< The class decide to have a game night (I like to think they have them semi-regularly)
< Nagisa ends up playing against Celeste
< They have played against each other before, but this time they talk about more than just the game
< Nagisa learns about her plans for after they graduate
< Celeste learns about his ultimate title
< There's a lot about the whole Korosensei thing that he can't really talk about, but he tells her a few things
< She pieces together some of it on her own
< She was curious about how someone could earn the title "Ultimate Assassin" without boasting a high kill count
< Enough of the Korosensei situation was broadcast for her to get a general idea
< It was enough to satisfy her curiosity
< Their friendship is an odd one to anyone who doesn't know them
< Celeste finds playing games against Nagisa fun
< He doesn't win many of them (because Celeste isn't the ultimate gambler for nothing)
< But he wins often enough for it to still be fun
< They're both good listeners & know how to keep a secret
< Celeste tends to be more honest with him as a result
< They don't actually start dating until after they graduate
< Celeste wasn't interested in a relationship while they were still at school and Nagisa didn't realise his own feelings until after they'd left
< They had a pretty lengthy conversation about it to figure out what they wanted to do
< Their relationship is a lot more stable than most would think
< Nagisa still ends up becoming a teacher after graduating Hope's Peak
< Celeste occasionally makes comments about her assassin boyfriend
< No one can tell whether or not she's joking
< Nagisa finds the whole thing amusing but he'll never admit it out loud
Maki:
< Maki was confused when she first met Nagisa
< She didn't think it was possible for two people in the same class to share an ultimate title
< Sure, no one else knew her true ultimate title at the start, but that didn't really help the situation
< She was wary of him initially
< He's nice enough, but she's been in the assassin game long enough to notice hints of bloodlust when she's near it
< Besides, she knows how dangerous she can be so surely he's the same, right?
< It takes a while for her to warm up to him
< Something which wasn't at all helped when her true ultimate title was eventually revealed
< Nagisa didn't react particularly strongly to the news
< The circumstances aren't the same, but having multiple assassins in the same class isn't strange to him
< They do end up talking about it eventually
< There's a lot they can't really talk about, either because the information is classified or simply because some parts are too personal to discuss
< Nagisa learns about the orphanage and how Maki became an assassin to support them
< Maki finds out about the situation with Korosensei
< Again, they don't tell each other specific details, just enough for them to piece together a rough idea of their circumstances
< Their situations weren't entirely the same, but they do gain a better understanding of each other
< They start hanging out after that
< Most of Maki's initial wariness faded after their conversation and Nagisa isn't as worried about making her feel uncomfortable
< It's nice to have someone else around who understands
< Sure, the others understand the pressure that comes with being an ultimate but it's nice having someone around who understands on a much closer level
< They start dating in their third year
< It was pretty awkward at first, but they did eventually settle into a dynamic
< They lose contact for a little while after graduating
< Well, they have ways of contacting each other but they had to be careful
< Nagisa managed to get out of the assassin business and Maki has no intention of dragging him back in
< Nagisa wouldn't mind assisting her if the need arose, but he respects her wishes
< He did manage to get her in contact with some of the people who'd helped his class back when he was in 3-E
< What she does with those contacts is up to her
That's all I've got.

Headcanons for Hajime Hinata had he was the member of Assassination Classroom (Class 3-E) but he chose to stay at Reserve Course instead of joining Class 77.
(P.S: You can choose to ship him with Chiaki, Mahiru, or Natsumi. Only one of those 3.)
< Considering the reputation the class had at the start of the series, he wasn't exactly happy about being placed in it
< He was even less impressed when the assassination mission was given to them
< It took him a little while to warm up to the idea
< He does still participate like the rest of the class, but he wasn't as enthusiastic about it to begin with
< He ends up being pretty good at it
< Sure, he doesn't exactly have a natural talent for it
< But you don't spend a year doing something without picking up a few tricks
< For some reason I can see him mainly hanging out with the Terasaka squad
< He chose the "kill" team during the class civil war arc (the kill team still lose, though the result was a bit closer)
< He doesn't actually want Korosensei to die, but he's not optimistic enough to believe they can save him and the planet
< He wasn't surprised when the ministry went behind the class' backs
< Sure, he'd hoped they'd respect the class' decision but he hadn't expected them to
< He attends Hope's Peak after graduating Kunugigaoka
< He still ends up in the Reserve Course
< Sure, he could've joined the Main Course as the Ultimate Assassin but he decided he'd had enough extraordinary school experiences
< He has a few friends in his class but they're not really that close (at least, not as close as he was with his old classmates in 3-E)
< He still meets & befriends Chiaki
< Unlike in canon, he doesn't end up joining the Izuru Kamukura Project
< He's content where he is so he doesn't really have as much of an incentive to agree to it
< Sure, it'd be nice to have more time to hang out with Chiaki but he figured that wasn't exactly a good enough reason to agree
< Besides, the whole thing with Korosensei made him a lot more sceptical about anything involving human experimentation
< He already helped save the world once, he has no desire to see or cause another catastrophe
< He keeps in touch with his friends from 3-E
< He made the mistake of telling them about Chiaki and now some of them won't stop teasing him about his "crush"
< It can get annoying at times but he knows they mean well
< The two of them don't actually start dating until their third year
< Or, more specifically, he doesn't realise they're alread dating until then (because Hinanami strikes me as the kind of couple who don't know they're dating each other until they've been doing it for a few months)
That's all I've got.

More Nagisa x Kirigiri headcanons, but this time in an AU where Kirigiri was in Class E.
Sorry about the late response, I've been a little busy lately.
< Kirigiri joined E Class a little while after the moon exploded
< She'd already been looking into the incident and noticed some suspicious activity in the area
< She joined the class to investigate
< She wasn't too surprised to find out the government was already aware of what was going on
< She doesn't actively participate in the whole assassination thing, but she researches things that might help outside of class
< That's what caused her to start hanging out with Nagisa
< He'd already been taking note of Korosensei's weaknesses which she found pretty helpful when she first joined the class
< It wasn't long before they started working together
< Nagisa keeps her updated on Korosensei's confirmed weaknesses (she already catches a lot of them, but it's nice having another set of eyes)
< Kirigiri shares her theories with him if she finds something that might be useful
< She respects his talent as an assassin
< She might not have done if things were different, but she's aware that their situation is difficult
< The legality of everything is questionable, but if means preventing the world from blowing up it's worth it
< Beacause of past experiences, it took a while for her to start thinking of him as a friend
< It takes a little longer for them to hangout for reasons other than discussing the assassination
< Kirigiri tells him the real reason why she joined the class
< He asks about her work
< There's a lot she can't tell him because of confidentiality
< Still, he finds the parts she can talk about interesting
< She finds out about the situation with Nagisa and his mom at the same time as the rest of the class
< She offered to help
< He declined the offer initially, but she made sure he knew it was still on the table
< There was a lot of uncertainty when the year came to an end
< Kirigiri kept in touch with Nagisa afterwards
< She does keep in touch with some of the others too but she doesn't speak to them as often
< It takes a while for the two of them to start dating
< Things were a little awkward at first but they got used to it reasonably quick
< Their dynamic didn't really change a whole lot, but anyone who knows them can tell they're closer
< They don't tell the rest of their class for a while (mostly because it just never really came up)
< They do eventually tell them
< None of the others were really surprised, though they were a bit confused (they already thought the two of them were dating)
That's all I got.

More Nagisa x Kataoka headcanons please, but this time adding Kokichi Ouma as Nagisa's cousin and Shuichi Saihara as Kataoka's cousin
< Nagisa doesn't tell Kokichi about his relationship right away
< It wasn't because he didn't want him to know, but he wanted some time to pre-warn Kataoka first
< Kokichi finds out anyway because of course he does
< He ends up bumping into Kataoka by chance (on purpose) and immediately takes the opportunity to scope out the situation there
< Say what you want about him, but he's protective of the people he cares about
< Nagisa is no exception
< Fortunately Kataoka is already used to E Class-brand chaos, so she already had some idea of how to deal with Kokichi
< Kokichi is begrudgingly impressed
< He mentions his organisation at one point, Kataoka recognises a shovel talk when she hears one
< Shuichi has known about the relationship for a while
< Even if Kataoka hadn't told him, it wouldn't have taken him long to figure it out for himself
< Kataoka introduced him to Nagisa after her run-in with Kokichi
< She wasn't worried about Shuichi ambushing him like Nagisa had been with Kokichi, but she figured it was only fair
< Their first meeting was a little awkward but they warmed up to each other quickly
< Nagisa and Shuichi get along quite well
< Shuichi isn't really the type for the whole "you hurt her, I hurt you" conversation
< He still made a vague comment about his job and knowing how to not get caught
< He doesn't actually think Nagisa would do anything
< But Kataoka's family, so he felt the need to say something
That's all I've got.

Talking about AC x DGR, do you have some headcanons about Nagisa Shiota x Kyoko Kirigiri ship?
< Okay, so how these two would end up getting together would vary depending on the context of the crossover
< For the sake of not over-complicating things, let's just say that Nagisa ended up earning the "Ultimate Assassin" title after killing Korosensei
< He wasn't the only one involved, but he did strike the final blow which was deemed good enough
< Also - again, for the sake of not over-complicating things - i'm writing these as a "No Despair AU"
< He doesn't like telling people what his Ultimate is, but he also doesn't try to hide it
< Kirigiri was understandably wary when she met him
< Nagisa's nice but the whole "assassin" thing combined with her own past experience means she wasn't sure whether it was his genuine personality or if it was just an act
< Details about the moon incident are technically confidential but she does eventually figure enough of it out
< Suspicions plus Ultimate Detective means even government secrets don't stay secret for long
< She doesn't have the full story, but she learned enough to know his situation wasn't exactly the standard for assassination
< Nagisa, understandably, wasn't too happy about her snooping but it didn't surprise him
< It takes a while before a friendship actually forms between them
< He becomes friends with Makoto first, which means he also happens to spend a lot of time around Kirigiri as well
< A lot of their early conversations were awkward, but they warmed up to each other eventually
< Nagisa sometimes helps out with her investigations
< He might not have the most conventional record as an assassin but he was still trained as one, the knowledge he has is useful for some cases
< They end up learning more about each other as time goes on
< Kirigiri finds out that he wants to be a teacher, but isn't sure whether he'll be able to now because of his Ultimate title
< Nagisa finds out what happened to her hands, though she didn't actually show him the scars until a lot later
< Family is a tricky subject for both of them
< Kirigiri has offered to investigate his mother but Nagisa declined, the offer's still on the table though
< Nagisa's there if Kirigiri wants to talk about her own family issues, it's nice having someone to talk to who understands on some level
< They stay in contact after graduation
< Nagisa does still manage to become a teacher
< It's recorded on his record that he was a part of the Main Course but there isn't any mention of his Ultimate title
< The only ones who actually know he was the Ultimate Assassin were the other students who knew him at Hope's Peak and his classmates from his 3-E days
< He suspects Kirigiri had something to do with it, but he has no way of proving it and Kirigiri herself never mentions it
< They don't start dating until a while after they'd left high school
< It didn't actually change a whole lot, but it was still a bit of an adjustment
< The general consensus from their friends when they found out was "finally"
That's all I got for now.
