I know someone probably already asked because what about Desmond in rainbow six siege

I imagine he would be a part of ghosteyes

I feel like if we set this with the idea of Desmond being transported into Rainbow Six world after dying, he wouldn’t be part of any squad or ‘company’, preferring to go on his own and end up creating a Brotherhood under him.

Hell, he would probably even poach a few of the members of Ghosteyes all things considered.

So we go a different route.

We add Rainbow Six (and Tom Clancy’s books in general) into the AC world and turn this into a timeline where Desmond gets into the military for some reason when he left the Farm and just… continued to do his own thing.

He became part of special ops teams which ends up saving him from Abstergo’s eyes.

(How did the world survive in 2012 then? I’ll sacrifice William Miles for this one… or if Desmond’s genetic makeup is necessary, William Miles and his wife)

Desmond continues to be part of one of the US spec ops team and learning the ropes from the best. Because of what he can do, he’s more efficient for stealth infiltration and assassination.

Which leads to him being trained by Sam Fisher.

Whether he was part of Third Echelon or not is up to you.

But it’s because Sam remembers him as the most promising ‘soldier’ he had ever trained, he is the one to recruit him as the latest member of GhostEyes.

At this point, Desmond has made a name for himself.

The White Grim Reaper.

Because his normal attire is composed of a white suit with a hood and a white mask.

Sam always told him that he was courting death, wearing an all white outfit like that.

Desmond agrees but he’s also giving a middle finger to his past.

Because an all white ensemble with a hood was always what his mother used to wear.

He doesn’t know it’s because many of his Assassin ancestors wore white with a hood.

To him, wearing white with a hood is a way to show this parent’s cult that he has carved out his own future.

And now…

A new chapter awaits with the Ghosteyes.

Just went on a rant on reddit about how much I adore the phone content in watch dogs. Any of you remember them? Here's the rant out In full, hope you fuckers agree or else you'll be wrong on the Internet, and thats not on.

Watch dogs 1 has some of the best content in any ubisoft game ever made, that being the phone minigames.

The spidertank one is badass and intense, along with unique controls due to the spider looking tank itself and how it crawls on walls.

The flower one is a high quality version of some mobile game like subway surfer but with an end goal and way better. Also just funny seeing aiden just fuckin bouncing on these big af flowers giggling the whole time.

The city one where you take it back from robots conveys the themes and messages of the game better then the actual story does, such as;

aidens feelings about his life and the profound loneliness he feels from it,

his role as a brother to his sister and his need to protect her by himself no matter the steeped odds ahead,

and the power ctos has over the city and how it feels like only brain dead, heartless robots roam and control everything as they please, while he is forced to work to stop them in the shadows;

ALL OF THIS IS CONVEYED AND SHOWN BETTER IN THIS OPTIONAL PIECE OF SIDE CONTENT THEN THE ACTUAL GAME IS AT TRYING TO GET YOU TO CARE ABOUT WHATS EVEN GOING ON AAA-

(Also it's just flat out gorgeous too)

And finally, the hell car one. This one is chaotic, hellish, and has the best character in the game as an announcer as you go around just ripping people apart by running them over as you fuel your cars lust for blood, each challenge you do offering more and more people for you to mow down, police to flee or driving challenges to complete. Its intense and I fucking love it.

(like genuinely if they made a full game in the style of those minigames it'd honestly be a top favourite of all time for me).

Rayman Together Community Spotlight #1 - Rayman Collectibles & Merchandise

This exciting new series hopes to introduce you to Rayman Fans across the World on a more personal level and make you the reader feel more connected to the community. I look forward in the months ahead to showing you the many faces of the Rayman community and some of the exciting projects and accounts they are working behind. Rayman was published by French video game publisher Ubisoft in 1995. Since Rayman debuted on PlayStation and Sega Saturn, the series flourished after receiving outstanding reviews from critics and multiple publications. Rayman went onto spanning decades of videogame releases. Rayman was a Ubisoft Mascot until later years, when its various franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy, and the Rabbids stole the spotlight.

After almost a decade, Rayman has slowly begun to creep back into the spotlight thanks to his return in Rayman in the Phantom Show. Ubisoft has begun to drip feed the loyal and patient Rayman community with various releases with collaborations from its multiple partners, such as Flyos, YouTooz, and Netflix. Rayman has made a major appearance in the Ubisoft Netflix series Captain Laser Hawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, Flyos is publishing the eagerly anticipated Rayman: The Board Game, and Youtooz has created Rayman figures and pin sets. YouTooz are even working on more figures, including an upcoming plush toy, collaborating with someone within the Rayman community. 

Although it may seem Ubisoft never supported the franchise outside of digital releases until now, a lot of you may be unaware that during the "Golden Era" of Rayman, Ubisoft released often rather obscure and bizarre merchandise that was exclusive in Europe or often released without public knowledge. 

I recently discovered the TikTok page RaymanCollectibles&Merch, which is managed by the extremely passionate Rayman fan Natasha Quinn from the United Kingdom. Natasha has collected various collectibles and merchandise throughout Rayman's history. I am delighted today to take an opportunity to showcase the Rayman Collectibles & Merchandise account as part of the very first Rayman Together Community Spotlight.

Please Introduce Yourself: "Hi I'm Natasha Quinn I live in Hertfordshire Stevenage in the United Kingdom."

Tell us something fun or interesting about yourself? "I have been collecting Rayman merch since 2016 but sadly lost most of it due to moving so restarting again in April 2023 where i have acquired a lot more then my childhood collection."

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? "I have two small dogs called dexter and Bailey which compete in fun dog shows. I also love to spend time drawing and making crafts in my spare time."

4. What are three things that make you smile? "The three things that make me smile are anything animal-related, cute videos, etc. I'm a huge animal lover. 2 Rayman (of course) 3 playing retro games from my childhood, reliving the memories mostly the PS1, PS2, and Game Boy handhold"

5. How did you get into the Rayman series? "I first got into Rayman when my dad got me an atomic purple GBC, which he called the game Rayman to go aside. I fell in love with the adventure and the colorful levels as well as the character Rayman himself, which I thought the fist throwing was a cool design! I remember getting excited about completing a level I would show my dad."

6. What is your favorite Rayman game and who is your favorite Rayman character? "Choosing a favorite Rayman game is hard, but I would have to say for memories and nostalgia alone, it would be the GBC version, although I realize it isn't a popular opinion, but closely following would be Rayman 2 & 3, as they are great games too! My favorite Rayman character is Rayman himself or Ly the fairy."

7. What is your favorite piece of Rayman merchandise you own, and why? "I think my favorite piece I own the last plush. I was lucky and won it in an auction, and weirdly enough, the smaller version went up for sale the same week, so I was lucky to own the pair!"

8. What is the rarest piece of Rayman merchandise you own? "The rarest piece I own is the Rayman Grimace mushroom figure given to staff members working on the Rayman 3 game, and only 100 were made. It's a beautiful statue, and I had to get it shipped from another country. I feel very lucky to have one."

9. Is there something in your Rayman collection that you don’t own? "I would love to own the 25th anniversary coin. I have been searching each day, and I still have hope."

You ever play Tom Clancy's the division? I'm really wondering how (what's left of) the brotherhood would think of Manny Ortega and Aaron Keener. (Accidental president and leader of the rogue network respectively) Aaron IS signified by a hood and a gas mask after all.

I was planning to buy it for my father years ago but the clerk told me it was online only and our net wasn’t exactly the best during that time so I didn’t buy it. I think I tried it a bit later on when our net became faster but I didn’t get far XD

So, for this one, the Brotherhood would probably try to infiltrate Manhattan during that time. Since this is set around 2015 according to The Division wiki, the crossover will be set after Syndicate.

This means that we can’t use Shaun and Rebecca for this one because Rebecca was shot during the end of Syndicate and Shaun would probably not leave her (although we can push for the idea that Shaun took the mission because Rebecca told him to get some fresh air while she’s resting and healing.

Of course, the Division’s plot does span further so we can have Shaun and Rebecca appear later on but, for this one, we’ll have to use a different modern day Assassin for the plot. It could be Galina since she’s the most experienced modern day Assassin on the field that we see in the games. We can pull her away from the comics that would happen during that time and maybe even move the entire Juno resurrection plot point in Manhattan with Elijah still under Abstergo’s lock and key but, this time, the entire facility is stranded in Manhattan.

If you want to integrate it further, the Dollar Flu that started the entire thing was started in Manhattan because Amherst used to be an Abstergo employee who ‘quit’. To be more exact, he was supposed to be killed but he faked his own death. He knows about the Templars but he refused to join them so he was marked for death. The reason for creating and distributing the virus stayed the same but he now chose Manhattan because he knows that Abstergo is planning something there and he wants to give them a final ‘fuck you’ while going for his end goal.

Because of this Berg and Sigma team also infiltrates Manhattan to ‘rescue’ the stranded Abstergo personnel, ‘secure’ Elijah (codename: Roberts) and ‘purge’ the facility of everything.

Now, the Brotherhood would be a more distant ally with Ortega and Ortega believes them to be a foreign spec op team sent to check how fucked America is (considering the main Assassin is either Shaun or Galina, it wasn’t surprising that he mistook them for a foreign entity).

Keener though… well… they don’t necessary see eye to eye in many things but they do join in certain missions together when it proves to be the best course of action. Of course, Keener would say that he plans it that way from the very beginning because, unlike Manny, he does know what the Brotherhood is. Not personally, of course. But he does have a member of his team that was once an Assassin, Joseph Laurier who had been in Galina’s team during the operation.
