I really love your art, what is the secret to making the faces and such so expressive?

observe people's faces! not just in cartoons. look at the expressions people make in real life; even the subtlest eyebrow raise or the way the mouth is curved can convey so much emotion. once you get the hang of that, then you can really start exaggerating. i always imagine my faces as blobs of silly putty that can be squished and stretched and played around with, like the drawing equivalent of a fidget toy.
