Something I love about digital circus Im finally noticing is it's claustrophobia it gives its characters.

Like, watch the new nominee stuff on the wacky watch website. Full of characters interrupting each other and never, NEVER for good reasons. Kingers an exception but not really for reasons ill explain soon. But, I think this is an intention, done by the goose, to further amp up the "wierd" feeling the later episodes will be giving off. Caine Mentioning killing yourself in his tape, handing out loaded guns, glitching randomly, Caine is losing it, and I ADORE how subtle it is. Like he's still mostly there, but it feels different. Like some part of him is missing, or aching now. And he lashes out that onto others by just caring less about his own restrictions he has about the circus. And by extension the characters more and more are showing clear signs of cracking. Hard.

Claustrophobia to those unaware is the fear of being trapped or enclosed in a small space with no escape. How to Convey this through just audio, and especially while the gang goes on all these adventures to wherever they want? Each other. Each member of the circus has a "buddy" that's only there to make then feel trapped, like they aren't allowed to relax or be themselves here. They're already fucking trapped, and now, OHH GREAT YOUUU COME ALONG AND- except that's all in their heads. Least, for now it is. Let's prove this theory right, then. Shall we?

Caine - bubble/zooble. And lesser extent, pomni. All 3 don't really respect his authority and power, all three spend much time with Caine whittling down his patience as he clearly doesn't want a sad circus but God damnit when the last 2 new people don't even like my adventures and my partner is useless god-

Zooble - jax. More to explain in jaxs part, really, the feeling is mutual. They just have different ways of coping that fully clash a lot.

Ragatha - jax. And lesser extent, Caine and pomni. The most well known characters all see her as a goddamn mat to walk over. And 2 of them tell her that directly. And she just wants to be liked, loved even.

Gangle - jax. He just finds her pathetic, useless. All the things he hates about himself or in others in her. Bullies her because she never bites back, never bites back because she's a beaten dog about this kinda thing, you're just kicking her man.

Pomni - honestly, most of them. As she can get along with most of them, they too can easily turn on her and side with their closest allies. In almost being a people's person and getting along with all of them.. who *really* has her back?

Jax - ragatha, zooble. Its jax, he's a grade a asshole who hates when others belittle him and try to stop him. He has some reason as to why, doesn't make him a good person.

Kinger - himself. I mean because he's gone insane the only voice against his own he had is the rational fighting with the innane him. And wait. There it is, do you see it? "Voice against his own". All the tapes, promotional stuff, actual episodes..

They all oppose the others way of living in the circus. They all want to be left alone and yet are repeatingly having these other people up near them, Constantly, like how there is no break in the circus. We never see them sleeping, never see them really resting. And never, EVER, are they alone. They're always with someone. Usually someone slowly whittling down their patience and making them want to abstract...

Well, thank god they're isn't an amazing digital gun or smth for them to shoot at each other with, that would be awful-

Fun to read thru. And most of these for me at least are cold takes, no one likes those damn new dawn villains me included. But miles and new Vegas ones were cool.

10 of my shitty little opinionated video game hot takes (because why tf not?)

1. Mickey & Lou are the WORST written Far Cry villains in any Far Cry game PERIOD.

2. Abby is not that bad.I love Joel too but y'all don't think you wouldn't resent someone if they killed someone you were close with?I mean she certainly isn't "good" but her wlf friends were honestly worse imo.

3. Okay frankly Chloe might just be bipolar (I say that as someone diagnosed with it myself and I do see parts of myself in her admittedly) but that doesn't change that she could be a guilt tripping asshole and frankly a pretty toxic friend to Max.I don't hate her character but i've never been able to choose her over Arcadia.

4. Gabe from Telltale's New Frontier Walking Dead season is wildly overhated and thats coming from someone who initially disliked him when I first played the game.But he is JUST A KID who's grieving his younger sister while also going through puberty stuck in a car with two adults 24/7 in the apocalypse shit is rough enough for him 💀.

5. Waluigi & Crash Bandicoot are literally two of the most deserving characters to be added to Smash (yes more than Geno & Spyro) although we do desperately need a new Sonic rep, hell i'll take Big the Cat in the roster at this point.

6. I know i'm going to hell for this but it needs to be said: OVERRATED. (still love it though.)

7. Sonic Unleashed deserves a remaster.

8. I actually think Miles Final Suit at the end of Spider Man 2 was dope.(but I do agree he didn't *need a new original suit like wtf)

9. Okay this is more of a hot take/pitch but I really think it would be cool to see Scarecrow as the main villain of The Batman Part 2 specifically using a similar design to Arkham Knight's Scarecrow because holy shit this design would go hard as fuck in live action especially in Battinson universe.

10. Wind Waker should be on the Switch idc I mean...HOW THE FUCK IS THIS NOT ON EITHER OF THE NINTENDO SWITCHES YET I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND I MEAN SERIOUSLY THE ICONS FOR THE CHARACTERS ARE OPTIONS ON THE SYSTEM SO WHY NOT THE GAME?? 😭

(just to add on I have sat through every damn nintendo direct since the switch first came out just in the hope of this game thats how down bad I am for this)

Goose could make the best fucking noodle incident ever can't she? It'd be even better if it was like, either super long, or super short. Short because what could have happened in 4 seconds to illicit no response but still get you out? And long because.... because of the implications.

Wouldn’t be insane if, for one scene, two of the characters enter the trust room thing, let’s just say, Pomni and Jax, and we don’t even get to see what happens.

We don’t get any context clues, no hints, we don’t even see how they feel afterwards. They just go in the room, and then some time later, they leave.

It’ll be the fandom’s equivalent to “The Room Where It Happens” and it will drive us up the fucking wall.

OK I don't know why this won't leave my head but here are 10 random crossovers (no real order) that would be dope to see In a monster prom game;

Number 10, Scott the woz.

I don't know man, it's really funny to me that you're hitting on all these demons, and zombies, and ghosts, and then just a fuckin white guy with a blue border around him at all times. His wierd humour would fit the monster prom world quite well I think, and look OK I do kinda find Scott the woz to be really attractive, I didn't at first but I do now, I blame berdly from deltarune.

Number 9, Zagreus, from Hades.

In Hades, he already finds himself romantically with many of the people in game, or just playing with the idea of him dating them (megaera, dusa, thanatos) so the idea of flirting with him or him with you would fit for him. It'd be more indie representation for the series, and keep up the wierd tradition of having all indie characters be related to red (lamb from cult of the lamb, helltakers modeus, and then him.)

Number 8, papyrus, undertale. (Tbh I could only think of 2 off the top of my head for this so now I'm actually looking at random indie games and what would be fun and this is one)

Like, I would understand if it was sans instead since more people would actually want him and he's more popular, but I think that papyrus being so friendly and actually trying to date you in undertale makes him more interesting. Itd be less making him interested in you and trying not to turn it into friends hanging out and that's it. Also maybe you could have a path where we actually got to see that more serious, interesting and serious papyrus that he hides under his optimistic demeanour, as the weeks go on. Course papyrus does give off aroace vibes but I could see it working.

Number 7, the princess, slay the princess.

The princess is a being who changes based on how you perceive her, and while that mechanic would be a bit much to add, I love the idea of her literally *being* all of the princesses based on mood. Neutral is base princess, pissing her off could have her go wraith or fury looking, have her play with being a fan of philosophy as her game is about that, maybe if you only interact with her once at the end of a run she'll look like the stranger, have her find bird masks sexy, and her secret Route could involve either turning her into the shifting mound or just a normal princess, no shifting. (I love this one actually)

Number 6, springtrap, five nights at freddys.

The idea of trying to date a rotting corpse inside a robot rabbit suit is both gross and kinda funny, plus think about it. Imagine going from dead by daylight to monster prom 5 or smth. You're playing as him, trying to murder innocent people, to trying to get into his pants lol. Him technically bring married would be a fun joke and the game could have fun with him murdering you as being the secret ending. Yknow, in a sexy way.

I said 10 but this is pretty long already, so how about this. If I get ANYONE asking me for more/actually finishing the top 10.. I might. It would definitely encourage me if I knew people liked my idea. But until then, trans rights >:3

For the Hades community thats on here, hi! I'm replaying the game all over again after sinking 90+ hours into it on someone else's system and buying it physically for myself! And I remembered I made this tierlist so why not, give back a little and just give my unwanted opinions onto thee :3

But because I did this a good few months ago, only change I'd make is put skelly in "pretty damn great". I think that's it really, if you want to hear me go off about one of the characters don't be afraid to ask :)

I'm seeing monster prom start to trend here, which is awesome, I got into the first game literally this week, as a coincidence. The humour and style feel try Hardy at first, but once you accept the weirdness it's a lot of fun. Characters are all hot and great to be around, and my god there's so much content in just the first game, let alone the others.

But I'm not here to sell you on monster prom (tho you should play it) rather i just want to say. Zoe looks really cool, I like her. But personally as someone who wants to be a trans..
