i've been wanting to add an aquiline nose to a character design of mine since i find the shape of them to be pretty (the character in question is not a villain or person who could otherwise be counted as a jewish stereotype at all in my knowledge) but i'm.. extremely wary. after 8 google searches i still couldn't find any confirmation that it's like.. okay to use simply as a physical feature. i'm honest to god not going to do it anymore since it's so risky but i wanted to hear your take on it

its totally fine, just don’t draw it obscenely large or what have you. different nose shapes on all sorts of characters should 100% be encouraged

having characters with ethnic features that aren’t a caricature is completely possible

Rules for requesting~ Asks

Asks are the main way; and the way that I prefer to, receive requests, but the anonymity and the ‘send and done’ way that they operate occasionally leads to minor problems. So here’s a few bullet points about how you can make sure that your request is “perfect” from the start:

First things first: send in a request. 

I never stop writing for a film or television show so there’s no need to ask about whether or not I still write for it. From experience, anonymous asks like these really don’t work since; unless I’m responding to them immediately, the people that send them in often don’t follow up and thusly, never really get their answer. This also goes for people who ask whether or not I’ve seen a certain film. 

If the movie you want to request for was made in the 1970s-90s then I’m willing to write for it. I’m always looking for new old movies to watch so I’m more than happy to receive requests for films I may or may not have seen before. At this point, empty questions about requesting for specific films will be deleted since I just don’t have the space in my inbox or the time to answer them; I hope you can understand. 

For your actual request, be sure to include the name of your character, the movie they’re in, and what you’d actually like me to write for them. 

 Ex. Could you write Meeting and Dating Duckie Dale from Pretty in Pink?

- Meeting and Dating hcs, crush hcs, makeout hcs, and nsfw hcs are my most popular types of posts but you can request just about anything you can think of so long as it’s appropriate. 

Remember~ You never have to feel embarrassed about who you’re requesting for. I have “weird” film crushes and so do half the other people on this blog as well: this is a safe space and I try my best to keep it that way so don’t ever feel like you have to apologize for your favorite comfort characters. 

Currently, I have a long list of requests which I try my best to write in the order of oldest to newest. Occasionally, if I rewatch a film or if the mood hits, I’ll select a request about said film and pump it out, so you can always get lucky and have your request written a lot earlier than expected. If you have the patience and a particular request then I recommend sending it in so that you can “save a spot in line” and have it written as soon as I’m able to. 

Also remember~ I’m always happy to discuss films, characters, and anything else you can think of in my asks as well. Think of me as a friend you can come to when you want to gush about and discuss old media without being judged; even if it’s just debating whether or not Rocky gets pegged. ❤

Reblogging: You are free to reblog any of my post. That being said, I might end up deleting a post--this usually happens when Puffy deletes one of her tweet. I won’t go out of my way to look for reposts, but if you do realize that you reblogged a deleted post, I would appreciate if you delete it as well.

Fanart: Puffy responds to a lot of fanart on twitter. I always provide a link to the original artist on posts that feature fanart, so please, if you have twitter, go ahead and like the original tweet and check out some of the other fanart the person has made.
