No one's fandom takes should 'earn them' anon hate. No one is going to have the exact same opinions as you and that's good. A big part of fandom is talking with people who have a different perspective and gaining new perspectives yourself!

Do Lily and James have core aspects to their characterisations that you aim to demonstrate in all your writing?

Whoa, Athena. I’m getting this before 7am so let’s see if I can make sense 😅

I feel like my Lily has sharper edges than James. In all iterations (canon, divergent, restless waves). The things that have shaped her have left her hopeful, but not without her ghosts of mistrust, betrayal, and pain that she struggles with.

I like to think that my James sees this and understands this, and for the most part helps her shoulder her burdens while reminding her that she’s this incredible force of a woman. He’s sweeter because he can be. He’s more understanding because he can be.

And Lily recognizes what he does for her, and accepts it.

(Also they’re just SO in love with each other they can’t stop STARING)

I remember reading Chalice of The Gods and reading that line where Percy was like, “My parents won’t hear Annabeth laughing because ours walls are really thick” and going ??? Mister sir how did you figure that out???

LOL. i love that scene. mainly because percy said that even if his parents heard annabeth, the worst thing that would happen is sally offering her a cup of tea 😂

i also thought it showed development in their relationship because in MoA, when annabeth appears in his room to wake him up, he gets super nervous and his heart races. but in cotg he literally wakes up to her fiddling with his window and breaking into his room, and he’s not even phased lol. then shes goes and sits on his bed with him, and that’s also nothing new apparently. so that’s a big step from mark of athena. she also knows exactly how long it takes for him to shower LOL.

so basically yeah, i’m with you. i feel like there were a lot of very subtle implications in that book. i’m desperately hoping we get more in wrath of the triple goddess!!

but also you cannot convince me The Overachieving Pokemons Georg Warden of the Lineaged Nobles of the Cliffs Ingo would not, at a minimum, have at least 1-3 razor claws on his person at any given time. possibly up to 8 or more if he's actively collecting them from distortions. he is well aware of how a sneasler evolves from a sneasel.

what im saying, is, emmet goes to sinnoh, and instead of Wacky Hijinks With Funny Tiny Sneasel Brother Time, is immediately grabbed, hoisted over the shoulder of, and summarily carried off by an 8ft tall extinct sneasel evolution wearing the uniform and shredded jacket of a guy that supposedly should have kicked it several centuries past.* because SOME Legendary That Shall Not Be Named Royally Fucked Up The Instructions On Sending A Human Through Time And Accidentally Made Him A Sneasel (it was Arceus. He did streetwear - and that wasn’t some kinda knock either. Listen, there’s merit there. Since the Grunge Scene exploded, Eddie had a job. So, he couldn't complain.
