What do you think about the other characters after the revolution? Who do you think it would left the coffin first, or how would that happen?

(There is many characters to elaborate on, so maybe you should say what you think in general or choose some specific characters to speak about for now, If it is better for you)

i don't have super specific headcanons for many of the characters regarding this, but i absolutely think all of them make it out of ohtori sooner or later. they're already on the right track after the series.

nanami would leave first, possbily even before anthy does. she already tried transferring out in ep 32, so she clearly wants to, and now that she's no longer a part of the dueling game (which is probably entirely over anyway) she would be able to without much issue. and after leaving, i think she'd keep her distance from touga and grow up a little without his presence there to hinder her.

for the other student council members... i'm not as sure. i don't think they'd leave very abruptly like nanami. the older ones i could see just them finishing their last few years of highschool before graduating normally, while miki might transfer after middle school? with anthy gone i doubt there's anything literally keeping people trapped anymore, but with everything being over i don't think they'd be in a rush to escape either. i do think juri would probably quit the student council, though, and miki would follow her pretty much immediately. at which point there isn't really a council at all anymore since it's just touga and saionji hanging out on their gay little bicycle all the time.

so i guess generally speaking, i think the characters would just live out their school years, trying and failing and trying again to repair their broken relationships and become better more mature people. the narrative is over, and in that sense they're all free even before they actually leave ohtori itself.

I know its an odd pairing, but they both go through similar circumstances: A lived one is being threatened, so they decide to take matters into their own hands and kill a person just to save them.

I can see this ship work bc they could potentially understand eachother and why they did what they did, eventually leaving to them being the only ppl that can comfort eachother.

I could see it! I've never thought of it, but I actually do think they'd be well matched.

Like you said, there's an element of being able to understand each other in this ship. I feel like Karen would actually need the most comfort, because she killed multiple people in the Student Council Killing Game (or at least tried to, iirc?) and those people were a) innocent and b) friendly acquaintances, maybe even friends. Meanwhile, Sato, while still messed up from her murder, had real reason to believe Natsumi would kill Mahiru directly, and already didn't like Natsumi. (Even if I personally think the murder threat was hollow, Sato would have no reason to think that.) So, her protection was a lot more direct, with, in her mind, no innocents being killed. She still didn't want to do it, SDR2 explains it was at first an impulse attack, and then one done from fear of retaliation- attacking a Yakuza princess WILL get you killed, but if you kill her, and no one can connect it to you because they don't have her testimony, then... That line of action also protected Mahiru, so it was really the only line of action she felt she could take. She didn't go into the conversation planning on killing Natsumi, and the fact that she did still messes her up. But. It's also a lot easier to justify to herself, because Natsumi wasn't innocent in this either. Karen killed first- killed someone who wasn't going to kill her- and it was also to protect, but... that's harder to justify to yourself. She's definitely going around in circles in her head trying to justify all she's done.

Now, I don't know if this would be necessarily healthy for them, because justifying your bad actions is not actually productive, even if it does make you more mentally stable in the moment, but I could see Sato gathering her up in her arms and being like "You had no choice. You did what you had to, just like me. It wasn't our fault." Which, like. Has some truth in it, yeah. Karen was in an extreme situation being manipulated to be her worst self, and the blame of that lies on Junko. But, you know. She did still murder some people. But I could see this assurance being massively comforting to her. Hearing it from someone else makes it sound true. And if they both care about each other, and they're not blaming each other for each others crimes, then... maybe they really didn't have a choice. Maybe they really were right. A feedback loop of affirmation.

Which. Almost makes me think they'd be really annoying to everyone around them, lol. In some ways, they make each other better because they find solace in the other, but in other ways, they make each other worse and enable each other. Which... is fun to see, actually. I wouldn't necessarily say they're toxic Yuri, as they aren't toxic to each other- they don't mistreat each other- but they are complicated. They'd comfort each other with the best intents, but I do think it could loop around to justifying each other. They both don't want to truly face their crimes.

Which! Is a cool dynamic. I'm sold, actually.

So this is the anon who just finished the comic and does like hitoshi x akechi and after you mentioned it in the tags I just cannot stop thinking about Akira x hitoshi x akechi it seems so so silly. I feel like they all simultaneously balance eachother out while being terrible influences.

akechi definitely plays them against each other (ex. “Akira won’t do [x] for me 🥺 but will you…?” “Hitoshi told me no about [x] but… I know you would…”)

what is in it for Akira and Hitoshi? welp. Not much. Mostly Akechi. It’s like they’re positive hydrogens. and Akechi is a very negative oxygen in the middle

but Hitoshi is still definitely a pushover and would do anything Akira asked him to. and honestly ??? he’s probably pretty into the crimes Akira has him do. It gives him an outlet to vent his frustrations

Akira never asks Hitoshi to be his fall guy or look the other way when he’s stealing something. No no no. he wants that man in on the action. Live a little.

I think they would actually be like synchronized swimmers in the kitchen. Hitoshi despises how well Akira is able to prepare fish, but hey. Someone’s gotta do it and it’s not gonna be Hitoshi, so. They cover each others weaknesses in the kitchen.

Akira is also a really good listener and lockbox, so Hitoshi probably traumadumps on him often. It’s a comfort Hitoshi didn’t think he needed, but he probably ends up either falling asleep in Akira’s arms by the end of it all or saying some dumb shit before leaving like “I think I was born to meet you” that takes Akira’s breath away

Akira ends up spooning with Hitoshi a lot and having so much tall boyfriend to sprawl out on is a fucking dream.

For fear of Akira and Hitoshi leaving him for each other, Akechi probably wedges himself between them as often as possible.

But in the end they somehow… manage to make the discordance work a little bit……

idk I think it would end with Hitoshi having to leave both of them for the good of his own mental health unless they make it to the end of graduation, at which point, Hitoshi becomes well-loved long distance boyfriend for epilogue reasons while Akira and Akechi stay in Inaba for epilogue reasons.

Generally though,,,, I think it’s just not . Something that would come together . Like…Ever

She chews you out while her little entourage of sorority sisters giggle and whisper to each other behind her, some of them seeming to enjoy seeing Hailey so out of sorts. Hailey knows she’s losing their respect the longer she keeps you around, but she can’t stay away from you either. The loss of control is infuriating.

“Soooo you really wouldn’t mind if I… fucked them instead?” You point to a random partygoer, one who looked like a bigger loser than you by Hailey’s standards.

Hailey looks like steam’s about to start pouring from her ears. One of her “friends,” laughs openly, cut short by Hailey’s glare turning towards her.

“Hold on a minute,” she hisses through a forced smile to her clique, “I need to talk some sense into them.”

Hailey grabs your arm, nails digging into the fabric, and drags you somewhere more private to ask you just what the fuck you think you’re doing.

Headcannon that i have!

I think it was implied that Ik's represented by rabbits/bunnies early in the story. And you know how MC in game is represented by a sheep? Well, i like to think the brothers end up getting rabbit themed stuff once Ik goes back home.

Like they end up gettin rabbit plushies, little figurines, or stationary with rabbit motifs when they miss their little human friend.

I like to think all the brothers would end up getting a rabbit plush in varying sizes depending on the brother. Asmo gets those nail stamps with rabbits. Belphie gets blanket with bunnies and stars. And sure, it is more cutesy than his usual m.o. but it reminded him of the Moon Rabbit story that Ik told him. Lucifer, when he needed to get some more office supplies, ended up picking up a bunny themed letter writing set. Was he going to gift it to Ik later or keep it for himself? Who knows. He just grabbed them when he was feeling particularly sentimental
