Hey if Hazel, Dev, and the gang play DnD, what do you think they would play as.... and how who would be the fortunate(or unfortunate) DM?

When I was 10, my older brother would play massive D&D campaigns in the living room. He tried teaching me the mechanics but it was too much and too boring for my small brain. Instead, I was far more fascinated with things like Warrior Cats.

Apparently Warrior Cats has a d&d game though. So. The kids would all play that instead!

Dev would eventually be roped into joining. Mainly because when you're sitting with a table of kids doing storytelling, you end up getting very invested, and very frustrated when they make the very wrong choices!!!

I put them next to each other casually without much thought, but I've had to redraw them in this set up so many different times in the development of this project that I kinda ship them now??? like why are they always lookin at each other like that

I do think character design diversity is important but pls let's not act like the boys in dandadan are diverse when they're all skinny white-skinned generically attractive boys with ONE exception

The point of the post wasn't even so much diversity as it was just character distinguishability. Whether you think Okarun's design is "attractive" or not he still has notably different features and a different build from Jiji, meanwhile Momo and Aira are identical aside from their hair and eyebrows.

And then there's obviously the aliens.

Where the male ones look weird in their base forms and have even weirder transformations, but the one female alien just happens to be a girl with antenna 100% of the time.

This weird need for female characters to be one specific kind of attractive all the time just gets in the way of decent character design.

I think he's definitely engaged in a lot of casual intimacy for a lot of reasons. I wanna be clear, he's still wonderfully sweet, and I think he's very respectful of the people of all genders he has encounters with, but like. Yeah absolutely. There are people all over the Grand Line who are gonna be thinking about "the two days and nights of the most magical sex I ever had" with him for the rest of their lives lmfao.

Part of that is because he's a pirate, a captain and a yonko, so it's hard for him to stay anywhere long enough to get attached, and would be dangerous for any just like. random normal people he slept with to have anything more than a passing connection to him at most.

I do also think that some of it is because he has been so dedicated and had so much of himself subsumed into his mission that like. A lasting love is something he doesn't think he's going to get to have. He's had these two really intense, really formative loves in his life, of whatever nature you want to think, with Buggy and Mihawk, and to one degree or another he's lost pretty much every connection he's ever formed outside of his crew.

Shanks, to me, loves pleasure, loves the intimacy he gets from sex, loves to GIVE that intimacy and affection to others, is DEEPLY well-versed in making you feel good...and genuinely thinks that having anything more than that is something that's lost to him.

(...hehe...unless...some reader with the right skills, tenacity, and patience would like to prove him wrong in that regard!)

You know what I'd love to see? Some fake out titles in Season 2. Like a bunch of chess metaphors that seem to be hinting at toppling the queen piece to get to the king/checkmate. The whole time looking like we're leading up to a big Lilith moment, only to turn out that it's been Vox doing groundwork for his confrontation with Alastor. He is exactly the kind of dweeb to make a custom chessboard and put his psychosexual obsession in the role of the most powerful piece on the board.

OOOOH! I want the drama between Alastor and Vox so bad. Spill that tea, Viv! Drop the lore! I need to know like I need to breath.

I can totally see Vox making a custom chessboard, with each pawn a different character from the show.
