WHOA WHAT IS THAT ROBO SKIDER? WHAT’S A SKIDER. TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM!!!

HELLO NEWCOMER!! SURE I CAN TELL YOU ABOUT ROBO SKIDER :D (i assume you are yelling across a ravine so I’m making sure u can hear)

So. This au takes place on a space station you work in with a huge crew and lots of high-tech stuff that assist you. One of them is S4-N5, a skeleton-spider robot looking thing. He does dangerous maintenance work inside and especially outside the ship and assists mechanics. You are a mechanic :)

Because of his appearance, he drives most other personnel on the ship away from him, but you’re undeterred. You talk to him like he’s a person, and treat him decently while others make jokes about how scary it’d be if he was a killer… self-fulfilling prophecy. You grow close to him, and you give him the nickname “Sans”.

Sans starts to feel things he doesn’t understand, and through a series of interactions and program-bending, he eventually realizes his love for you… all the while growing resentment to everyone else on the ship. It twists his own wants into something darker, and after someone was too harsh on you, he was driven.

Driven to kill.

After killing his first human, all his other “keep humans safe” protocols fall to the wayside, and he decides to fulfill his dreams: Of pursuing you… and eliminating everyone else.

Weeeeell alright, but only because you asked so nicely and also I really really love hamsters lol

(I've only ever had history with dwarf hamsters so that's what they all are to me, sanses are short anyway so it kinda fits.)

I made Killer and Dust roborovskis because they were the first hamsters I had and I have favourites. Also they are fast as hell so good luck catching these guys if they get out. I made Horror and Cross russians because they get a lil bit bigger than robos and I wanted a black and white one for Cross.

Also I dunno if you've ever seen those videos of 2 hamsters trying to run on the same wheel and one getting spun around or thrown off, but that's 100% Killer and Cross.

Some (More, but Actual) Context For G Gundam

Content Warning: Casual mentions of genocide due to the fact that this is a post covering real world events that happened before and during the airing of Mobile Fighter G Gundam in Japan. Reader discretion is advised.

Also, shout outs to Secret Galaxy, whose video on G Gundam helped a bit with some of the juicy context.

So I know I said I'd be talking about G Gundam. I will, but I still need to set the scenery a bit before I actually talk about G Gundam proper. Give you some context, because it'll help when it comes time to understand what was going on with G Gundam. Think of me as Stalker, setting up the scene at the beginning of every episode of G Gundam.

So with that, Context Fight! Ready, GO!!!

Sunrise, Bandai, and Victory Gundam

(Fun fact for the Gintama heads out there: Victory Gundam protagonist Usso Ewin is voiced by Daisuke Sakaguchi. In other words, Usso shares a voice actor with a sentient pair of glasses Shinpachi)

I figure a good place to start with all of this CONTEXT is start with what is going on at Sunrise, the anime company that produces and makes the Gundam anime series. Let's just say I didn't pick this gif of Usso out of the blue. During the run of the previous Gundam series, Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, Sunrise would be bought out by toymaker Bandai. And as they are the new bosses in town, Bandai started making demands. A lot of demands. So much so that series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino left the series once Victory Gundam wrapped up its run due to the amount of meddling Bandai was causing. So now, Bandai is in control of a franchise but lacking one of the main creative forces behind this iconic franchise. They also have a new idea for a new Gundam series, and they would prefer someone who is more compliant with their changes. Fortunately for Bandai, they would tap someone who had worked with Tomino on multiple projects together.

Enter Yasuhiro Imagawa

Bandai taps Yasuhiro Imagawa to direct this new Gundam series, as a move to get someone who may be more compliant to their whims. After all, Imagawa's only major projects as a director at this point are Ajikko-san and a couple of episodes of the Giant Robo OVA (a series I plan on watching eventually). There's just one problem: Imagawa worked under Tomino on a handful of projects, namely Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. So Imagawa kinda knows what Gundam's all about, especially since his focus was on storyboarding. If anything, he was just as put off on the idea as most Gundam fans at the time were, going so far as to try and come up with some ridiculous mecha designs that would flummox the people at Bandai. Imagawa would fail, but he would learn that it might be best to work with Bandai in order to make this Gundam series. Imagawa would begin work on a series that would, on the outside, be a radical departure from what Gundam was.

So you've probably gotten to this point and asked: "Why a tournament arc though?" And I will preface my answer with this: I'm not super-certain if the timeline lines up as well in my head, so if anyone can correct me on this, feel free to comment or message me on this if I'm wrong.

My answer is that there are two series responsible for this: Dragon Ball and Street Fighter. See, Dragon Ball Z would also be airing around this time, and if I'm thinking correctly, it should be airing around the time of the Cell Games arc (I think; Again, please correct me if I'm wrong). And remember, Dragon Ball is one of, if not the, most influential shounen battle series of all time. Add onto that the sudden success of Capcom's Street Fighter with the release of Street Fighter II and its colorful cast of characters from various nations with colorful attacks, and you can definitely see why Bandai would want to get in on the trend.

Would it surprise you if I told you that one of the more influential series for G Gundam was also Saint Seiya (or Knights of the Zodiac for those more familiar with its western name), specifically when it comes to the concept of the golden super mode. I also would not be surprised if Saint Seiya was also the reason for the majority of the Shuffle Alliance members being HOT MEN. Then again, Gundam's success was kickstarted thanks to women, so it may also be a treat for the ladies.

What's Going On in the World (1994 Edition)

So enough about Shonen Jump series and Street Fighter. What about the rest of the world? As we all know, media is informed by the world events that unfold as it's being made, and G Gundam is no exception. And while not all of these events happen before the series starts to air, they do, in my opinion, help to either inform or reinforce the ideas and themes present in Mobile Fighter G Gundam. I won't say what those themes and ideas are in this video, but here's an incomplete list of what is going on in the world before and during G Gundam's run:

The Japanese economic bubble bursts in 1992.

To reflect that, Patlabor 2 releases in theaters in 1993, best exemplifying the more pessimistic tones of post-bubble Japan by giving us a much colder and more cynical version of Patlabor that contrasts heavily to the more optimistic tone the series had prior to Patlabor 2.

Furthermore, a lot of western countries would be suffering from recessions at this point in the 90's. To put things into context for Americans, the economy is a large part of why Bill Clinton beat George H. W. Bush in the '92 Election.

In terms of entertainment, two extremely iconic series are still being worked on during G Gundam's airing: Pokemon and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The general public is more aware of the climate than ever before, especially since it had been about 9-10 years since scientists discovered a hole in the ozone layer directly above Antarctica.

A week after G Gundam begins airing, the Rwandan Genocide begins in earnest.

Before their infamous Tokyo Subway Sarin attack, the cult Aum Shinrikyo would pull off a smaller scale Sarin attack in Matsumoto.

Just for fun: Magic Knight Rayearth airs in October of '94. In my mind, Rayearth acts as a sort of distaff counterpart to G Gundam due to their primary audiences.

Takashi Shiina Blog Translation - Shonen Sunday S 2021/Dec

The second chapter has been completed. I’m relieved that the first chapter seems to be fairly popular… But I can’t let my guard down. I think those who liked the first chapter will like it (the manga), but for better or worse, the direction of this comicalization won’t be clear until the third chapter of the first volume, so by the end of this year I will be emotionally unstable. Therefore, if you thought it was fun, please give me positive praises. 

During my childhood there were no video-cassette recorders, let alone streaming services (note: he means stuff like Netflix), and comicalizations (1) were the only way for children to repeatedly immerse themselves in the story world of the visual content they liked. As entertainment for the exponential increase in the number of children during the period of high economic growth (2). TV animation (called "TV manga" at the time) and SFX heroes became a gathering of many talents, and many mangas were created as advertising projects... I think it’s probably not so wrong to say that.The situation is different from today's manga book productions, though.

Mangakas or manga producers are involved in the project from the beginning as "original authors" and write "comic adaptations in the name of the original work" at the same time as the animation (is being created), a method which is well known for Kamen Rider, Devilman, Getter Robo and Sailor Moon. The works created in those circumstances aren’t the same as those where "first there is the original manga and then it is adapted into an anime" or vice versa.Thus, works such as Devilman and Getter Robot, as masterpieces that differ considerably from the anime, left an impression to us, or perhaps I should say the little ones from back then got traumatized (laugh). 

In my case, I am "a manga artist who has built up a career to a certain extent, who asks the rights holders “let me do it”, they  agree and I draw it at my own discretion, although they check it", so perhaps it is closer to what is called a tribute. Wouldn't you like to read Yashahime drawn not only by me, but also by Fujita Kazuhiro, Aoyama Goushou and Kenjirou Hata? I would like to (laugh). I think it seems a bit unusual to do a whole serialization instead of a collection of short stories…Ah, there’s “Pluto”. That was a magnificent masterpiece, right? 

Well, the fact that the comicalization started just when the 16 years old serialization of Zettai Karen Children had finished, and the second season of the anime (3) was about to start, after 16 years of serialization, was a bit of a surprise, but in addition, accidentally, the circumstances and the timing also happened to coincide in a strange and perfect way. Rumiko’s professional staff are mostly the same from when my wife was there, so they're quite easy to contact for small enquiries, and Takahashi-sensei and my editor are from the same period (4), so of course communication is easy (laughs)... I think I was probably guided by something and decided to adapt ‘Yashahime’ into a manga, that’s why perhaps everything will be okay. The second chapter will surely be well received… so I expect. 

When you have almost a month between the chapter being sent to press and its release, you read it over dozens of times and repeatedly ask yourself, "It’s interesting... That's what I think, but I'm not sure about the readers... But Takahashi-sensei and Sumisawa-san said it was interesting..." By the time it's released, you don't know what's going on anymore. (laugh). That won’t make any difference, so I’ll immediately start working on the third chapter.

whos ur favorite danganronpa character from each of the games (ultra despair girls as well)

Sure, I can do this. Starting with Trigger Happy Havoc, obviously it's Kyoko. I love that girl so much, she's both cute and sharp as a knife, which, really, what more can you ask for in a character? I also love how her arc is about learning that people care about her and letting people in and stuff. One of my favorite types of character arcs. Seeing her finally, really trust people and realize that everything her father had done was for her benefit (to some degree) was awesome. She's even got some interesting stuff going on in the side material, which is great. Mukaro probably would've been a possible rival to her... if 90% of her appearances weren't in her Junko costume, and most of her original interactions stemming from exactly one side novel. She's such a cool character but she is literally the first to die so, she loses points for that, sadly.

We'll go timeline chronologically, so next up would be Ultra Despair Girls, and, let's be honest, there's only like 3 valid choices; Toko, Komaru, and Nagito. I really want to pick Toko, because I really do think she is the best character in UDG and the one who developed the most, and I enjoy her arc the most, but at the end of the day she is a Trigger Happy Havoc character who got DLC. So obviously, it defaults to Komaru, since she's the only one of those three unique to Ultra Despair Girls (as a full character at least), which I mean, it makes sense! Komaru is an awesome character, and her arc is fantastic. Learning to be her own person and to go beyond her limits as a "normal" person and to unlearn her own helplessness is great. Plus, she's really not normal at all. She's such a freak. I love her. Also why is she green. Funny green woman.

As much as I'd want to pick, say, Chiaki here, as much as I love her, she's not that deep of a character in all actuality, and The End of Hope's Peak (aka the anime) kind of butchers her even further, but if we're being honest, the best character in Goodbye Despair is obvious. It's fucking Nagito Komaeda. Good ol' fingers in his ass man. Who the fuck else would it be. He's the best character in the series; he practically carried my run of Ultra Despair Girls. He's just got so much going on. He IS Danganronpa, at its core. More than Junko, more than Makoto. He embodies what the entire series encapsulates in a microcosm. Believing in people despite everything, the conflict of hope and despair, the lying and deceit of the blackened, and even the weird ass innuendos (usually with Hajime). Also he married Sans. How could he not be my favorite.

Last, but certainly not least, Danganronpa V3 (sorry i havent even watched the anime or care about it really beyond it seeming to be pretty bad). I, uh.... hm. This is actually really hard to choose; I adore Kaede but she barely has any characterization or events in the game, so she's sadly getting the Mukaro Penalty. At least she gets to be herself for the whole game. Also, I love Miu, but most of what we know comes from very hard to find information, and most of the time she's actually genuinely a bit obnoxious in the trials, and no one really tries to help her get better. Keebo is fun, and I like robots, but at the end of the day he's still kinda Robo-Makoto, and Makoto doesn't have a ton going on. His relationship with Miu is the peak aspect of his character until Keebo gets his upgrades (which is very similar to how I feel about Makoto/Kyoko), but the payoff to that is just the audience surrogate twist which is... fine, I guess? Danganronpa has still sort of failed to deliver on a satisfying "robots are people too" story since most of their robots are/become the butt of a joke. Or die. Or both. So I guess that really just leaves Maki and Shuichi. And they're very close but... much like Kaede I have a bias for Shuichi just because I think the two of them are both very cute, so I'd probably go with him. (Even though I think Maki is the better character writing wise, I just have a bias.) He's also, unsurprisingly, an extremely compelling character even if I have gripes with the final trial in V3 and his role in it at times. Having a protagonist with an actual character arc is good, having him be conflicting about his detective work is actually incredibly unique in DR, if not just in general, his motivation with Kaede is godtier, his interactions with Kaito and Maki are fantastic, and overall I just really like him. He is someone I enjoyed spending my time with.

So, yeah. Those are my thoughts on my favorite characters for each Danganronpa game.

Cherry’sTale is like a diverted timeline

Y’know, different fallen human and all that jazz

Cherry herself is fully aware of everything she does, she knows the consequences of all her actions and doesn’t care too much

Camilia is the first fallen child, didn’t eat buttercups, ate daffodils

Tori (just tori) is y’know, toriel but she’s more aware of the fact that not everything can be solved with mercy and talking, she does teach cherry how to defend herself and all that. She DOES still try to stop her from leaving the ruins though.

Azazal aka sans is basically the same but taller, horns and all that, he, cherry, daisy (flowey), and Liff know about the resets and all that. He’s stronger than sans due to the fact that he actually does have heath, not by that much though, so he still dodges. Still the royal judge. With my other oc Pebble, who is not a sans but a regular skeleton oc

Liff is actually a lot smarter than people give him credit for, he’s aware of what’s going on in the timelines and is pretty strong and is in the guard.

Emery is y’know, head of the guard. She recognized Liffs potential, helped and eventually let him in. She can be chill but she’s extremely excitable

Allie (Alphys) is the royal scientist, she has less anxiety but it’s still very evident due to her stutter, but unlike in undertale she actually had the confidence to ask out Emery (THEYRE ALWAYS CANON)

Asgore (alternate name coming eventually when I think of it) is still king, still a push over and over all basically the same except he will have design changes (he was too lovely to change tbh)

Aracni (Muffet) actually does run her own little bakery in snowdin, she’s married to Solace (grillby, because fuck you /j) and does help him run the bar on the side, she can be seen with him most days or in her bakery (you still have to fight her after Metta). Pebble works for her at the bakery

Metta and Napsty, still cousins, still slaying. But napsty has a robo body (courtesy of Allie)

Tem Tem is temmie.

Daisy is flowey.

Ceciel is Gaster but he’s more visible, cherry can see him more often, mainly in waterfall.

❤️- *Aaaaand they're awake. They take his playful gesture as him basically asking for a fight! They lunge at him with incredible speeds, their knife swinging at one of his petals. Their trying to slice one off, but at the very least they manage to cut one a bit. They're fast and aggressive and constantly on-guard. Maybe not the best idea to mess with them..*

Flowey immediately and automatically drops his hand and rolls back as the younger Frisk speeds at him.

Flowey: "WHOA, THAT WAS NOT AN AGGRESSIVE-!" But he loses his train of thought as they take a swipe at his petal, it doesn't hurt, but it certainly catches him off guard.

Automatically he raises his metal arms to block the attacks. Flowey: "Where'd you go, Sans?! Chucky is a fast little-,"

Sans, from off-screen: "just hang on, help is coming,"

After a quick swing that almost involves the knife getting wedged into one of the arms, Flowey gets impatient and angrier by the second and whips a vine at Frisk's hand holding the knife, slapping them painfully a few times before they drop it.

Without hesitation, Flowey grabs Frisk up tightly with his robotic arms, holding them firmly in place.

Flowey: "Get HUGGED, brat!"

Then-! Sans types in a few commands on the computer connected to the Cam and hits enter, and within seconds, Frisk vanishes within Flowey's robo arms, finally going back to their Universe.

Flowey: "WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Sans: "dunno, looked like it was you antagonizing a kill-happy t-,"

Flowey: "NOT THAT! You sent them HOME! Why didn't you do that earlier?!"

Sans: "sorry kid, it was funny to see you two interact,"

Flowey: "Ugh! You're so annoying!!"

Brothers Be Like

Gentarou was out on the moon, watching Earth and trying to think of a new activity to do that would be interesting for 15-18 year olds that were getting sick of rain keeping them inside for P.E, when two mechas came zooming towards him. Gentarou flung himself to the side, popping up when the dust settled. 

Two people, Sentai if Gentarou wasn’t mistaken, were out of the vehicles, which appeared to be an orange…scorpion thing, and a blue bear. The orange guy was of average height, while the light blue guy was tiny. 

“Hey! You two okay?” Gentarou called, waving his hands. 

“There’s someone here?” asked the orange guy. 

“Yep! I’m Kamen Rider Fourze, the guy who’s gonna befriend all the heroes in the whole universe!” He pointed out at them. 

“A Kamen Rider, huh? Can you help us, then?” 

“Sure! Come on into the Rabbit Hatch, and tell me what’s up!” 

The two followed him inside, dehenshining when he did. Gentarou found that one guy was probably around his age and the other was high school aged. 

“Name’s Kisaragi Gentarou, how bout you two?” Gentarou asked, flashing a smile. 

“Stinger.” 

“Sakuma Kotaro. Isn’t this Earth? Why is there a base on the moon?” 

Gentarou shrugged with a smile. “Kengo rebuilt it for us!” 

Kotaro tugged on Stinger’s sleeve. “I think it’s like when we fought with Ex-Aid.” 

“I think you’re right,” Stinger sighed. 

“Ex-Aid! He’s my pal,” Gentarou said, grinning. “I’m Kamen Rider Fourze, by the way, for hero!”

“Kyuurangers,” Kotaro said, waving between him and Stinger. 

“Oh, you guys were the video game one! But not Pac-Man. Emu-san didn’t get to be in your robo, right? Cause he grew big? I got to pilot a Go-Buster robo, once, that’s why I mention it.” 

Kotaro and Stinger stared at Gentarou. 

“So, you need to get to Earth or anything?” Gentarou asked. “Or I can call Nadeshiko if you need something here on the moon, the SULU one, not Tomoko’s--”

“Earth sounds good, if we can get back here easily,” Stinger interrupted. 

“Oh yeah, super easy!” Gentarou reassured him. “This way!” 

Kotaro and Stinger followed him through a door, finding themselves coming out of a locker, Gentarou collecting a little thingamabob after they were all through. 

“Are you liking school, Kotaro?” Gentarou asked as they walked through a high school. 

“Oh, I’m not in school, I have too many missions,” Kotaro said, making Gentarou stop in his tracks. 

“He’s getting an education, don’t worry,” Stinger said with a roll of his eyes. 

“And I have lots of friends,” Kotaro said, remembering how Gentarou’s greeting had included the friendship thing. 

“Well, that’s good!” Gentarou’s smile was genuine, making the Kyuurangers breathe a sigh of relief. Somehow it felt like disappointing this guy would make you feel terrible about yourself. 

“Do you need any supplies or anything?” Gentarou continued. “Cause I can call up anyone, just say the word!” 

“No, we contacted Raptor-tachi right before we crashed,” Kotaro reassured him. “As long as we’re back on the moon when they can get to us, we’ll be fine.” 

Gentarou nodded, getting out a cellphone. “Let me call Kengo, then, and we’ll grab some pizza or something!” 

Kotaro perked up at pizza, making Stinger chuckle and ruffle his hair. 

“Yeah, should we eat there or bring it over? Cause I know you have that work, we can crash at the high school or the Rabbit Hatch if needed!” 

A silence, then some nodding. “Sure, I can do that, I’ll see you later, then!” 

Gentarou slipped his cellphone back into his back pocket. “Don’t let me forget to get some pizza delivered to Kengo!” 

“Okyu,” Stinger and Kotaro said automatically, making Gentarou pause. 

“Okyu? I like that!”

Gentarou didn’t notice that Stinger and Kotaro had stopped on their walk to get pizza until he was nearly ten steps away, finding them frowning at a poster advertising laser tag. 

“Why are humans playing with lasers, Gentarou?” Kotaro asked. 

“Oh! Laser tag isn’t real lasers, it’s just lights. Wanna play? It’s really fun.” 

Stinger looked like he disapproved, but Kotaro was tugging on his sleeve. “Come on, Aniki, when are we gonna get the chance again?” 

Stinger sighed and ruffled Kotaro’s hair. “Fine.” 

“Sweet! We can get pizza after, then?” Gentarou said, sending Kengo a text about their new plans and getting a thumbs up in response. 

“Yeah!” 

Gentarou smiled, glad to see that Kotaro was happy being a normal teenager.

“Don’t run, except you will, but like…try not to, okay? Rules are rules,” said the laser tag employee. “Everyone ready?” 

Kotaro pointed his gun at Stinger, who was on the orange team, as was Gentarou. He himself was on the blue team, with other girls around his age. There were four other teams, red, yellow, green, and purple, but Kotaro only wanted to beat orange. They had been able to choose their own teams, and since Gentarou had treated them to a unlimited pass, Kotaro knew he’d want to team up with Stinger at a later game. But for now: victory to the blue team. 

They were released into the actual game area, and Kotaro made his way up the stairs, where he could watch for Stinger more easily. It wasn’t easy to find him, with all the people, but once he did, Kotaro took careful aim and got a hit on Stinger’s vest, granting the blue team 50 points, although Stinger quickly saw him and gained his team 100 points for getting a smaller hit area on Kotaro. 

The game was going on but Kotaro and Stinger were just focused on each other, both of them grinning when they managed to get hits. It was a much more unwieldy tool that Kotaro was used to, but it was definitely a lot of fun. 

When the timer buzzed, the three of them made their way to the leaderboard, finding that the red team had won, with blue and orange tied for second. 

They played several more games, in different combos. Gentarou made instant friends with anyone on his team, while people wanted to be on Stinger’s team if possible. When the three of them were on the same team though, they won so hard that they were awarded with a free gift from the attached arcade, a set of planet keychains.

“Pizza time?” Gentarou asked, hair sticking to his forehead and a grin on his face. 

Kotaro nodded, attaching his Saturn keychain to his Seiza blaster with a little difficulty. 

“Aniki, are you going to put yours on too?” he asked Stinger once he accomplished it. 

Stinger held out his arm and keychain of Jupiter in response. Kotaro grinned and put it on for him. 

“You guys sure are brothers,” Gentarou remarked. “I’m an only child, so I always thought it was cool when people had siblings. Ready made buds!” 

Kotaro and Stinger shared a glance, then shrugged. Gentarou didn’t need the whole tragic story, and plus, it was almost pizza time.

“Liking it?” Gentarou asked the two aliens, getting a nod from Stinger and a thumbs up from Kotaro. 

He was about to ask about their adventures of being heroes (Sentais were always fun!) when Stinger got a call on his wrist blaster. 

“Our friends are going to be here in an hour or so,” he informed the other two. “We’ll need to be on the moon for that. Also don’t forget you promised to get pizza delivered.” 

“Shoot, you’re right!” Gentarou made his way to the register, grateful that Stinger had remembered.

“Is that your spaceship? That’s so cool!” Gentarou said, back in his suit. Even though his suit was expressionless, even Stinger could tell that Gentarou was genuinely excited. He was a lot like Lucky, if Stinger was being honest.  

“Yes, the Orion,” Stinger said, waving with one arm while Kotaro waved with two. 

“I’ll have to tell Yuuki,” Gentarou said. “Ah, before you go!” 

He reached out for Stinger’s hand, and Stinger watched bemusedly as Gentarou turned their handshake into a fist bump thing, doing the same with Kotaro. 

“We’re buds now! Don’t forget!” he said, pointing at the two of them. 

“We won’t!” Kotaro said, getting into his Voyager as Stinger did the same. 

“Byyyyyyyyeeeeeeeee!” Gentarou said, waving furiously with his whole body. 

Stinger chuckled, giving him one last wave before motioning Kotaro to follow him, flying to the Orion and back to the Kyuurangers.

Robo-Ink aka Oil (#robo ink, #oil!ink sans, #robot!ink sans)

Based entirely on the simple (initially joke) proposition: “alternate multiverse where everything is the same except Ink is a robot”. Oil hails from a whole separate multiverse just like the usual one, accept for him being the way he is. Slightly different in personality, but you only really realize it when putting the two characters in the same interaction. Either way, he is my pride and joy and a great project so far.

Ok so Faeverse isn’t actually entirely my creation, it’s a shared project with me and @dinosaurzzz. I’m just the lead character designer and artist, I don’t own it. Faeverse is a retelling of Underverse with a twist of Xvials and fae folklore from various cultures. Fushimi gets kidnapped, and in order to keep up the pretense that he hasn't been, the kidnappers plant a clone or a robot or something that looks and acts exactly like him. Scepter 4 do get a bit suspicious that their Fushimi-san is acting somewhat off, but it isn't until Yata sees the impostor and immediately goes, "That's not Saruhiko", that the situation gets fixed.

Somehow I’m imagining this Robo-Fushimi who has been programmed only with tongue clicks and the word ‘stupid’ and yet somehow the alphabet squad never notice XD Say this takes place post-ROK and maybe during the One Year Later timeline where Munakata is still on his journey of discovery, which is why he never notices something’s up with Fushimi, and Awashima is so swamped she doesn’t realize either. Fushimi is out dealing with some Strains when he gets kidnapped, the Strains are intending to infiltrate S4 and the plan was to kidnap someone so that they could take that person’s place (similar to what happens in Case Files with Gotou). They have a Strain with the ability to transform into anyone, the Strain has been watching Fushimi for some time secretly in order to get an idea of his personality. Maybe they’ve even been watching multiple members and decided Fushimi would be the easiest to imitate, just scowl a lot and boom, easy.

Except then the Strain infiltrates S4 and realizes his mistake because Fushimi does ridiculous amounts of work and what normal person can keep up. He decides to just wing it as best he can, he only needs to keep this up for a few days after all. The Strain basically does his best to dump work on other people, glaring and clicking his tongue a lot and basically doing his best to seem gloomy and annoyed by everything. The S4 boys assume Fushimi must be so overworked that he’s in an even worse mood than usual, like wow he’s extra angry today. Even so they do their best and don’t really suspect anything though the Strain does have a few close calls, like imagine everyone’s eating and he takes a bite of vegetable before realizing that everyone is staring at him in shock and he has to quickly gag and choke on it.

Finally the squad are out on a mission one day and the Strain comes along, intending to sabotage them while disguised as Fushimi. Homra is assisting with this one and the Strain doesn’t think much of it, Homra won’t know anything about this guy from S4 after all. As soon as Yata comes over to talk with everyone though he gets this confused look, staring at the Strain like he has no idea what’s going on. The Strain snaps at him like is something wrong you punk, the squad are like Fushimi-san we know you’re in a bad mood but calm down. Yata crosses his arms and looks at the squad as he asks why they keep calling this guy ‘Fushimi,’ any way you look at it it’s obvious this isn’t Saruhiko at all.

The squad all exchange looks and the Strain quickly tries to recover, like what would you know of course I’m Fushimi. Yata scoffs and says I’m not that stupid, you think I couldn’t tell that guy at a glance. Just Yata’s word is enough to get the rest of the squad suspicious now too, imagine Doumyouji being like you know I thought it was weird I secretly saw him eating broccoli under his desk and Akiyama’s like he didn’t even drink the canned coffee on his desk and went and brewed some all on his own I thought it was strange. Yata immediately starts pointing out all these tells that are obvious to him, like Saruhiko slouches more and the way he clicks his tongue is different and the lenses of those glasses aren’t thick enough, stuff that he knows because he’s spent so much time with that guy since they were kids of course he would know Fushimi immediately. The Strain realizes he’s in trouble and starts to make a run for it and Yata quickly takes him down, demanding to know where the real Saruhiko is and also smirking like the actual Saruhiko wouldn’t have gone down this easily either.

And a lot of the other stuff is usually a spark to firewood thing. Like I’d hear the words “creepy robot that’ll probably kill you in your sleep” in a comedic youtube video and my brain suddenly goes “Yes, but what if it was romance” (which lead to robo skider for example)

Door 12 : Christmas without cookies? NEVER!

You hummed a Christmas melody while displaying the fresh cookies, decorations and frostings at the ready. Smiling happily, you made everything ready to decorate and of course not to dirty the kitchen itself. “Sanji-kun~ we´re back”, Nami and Robin came through the door. “Sanji is bathing. Welcome back. Coffee tea, hot chocolate?”, you smiled. “Coffee”, both smiled. “You were quite busy” “Yes. Now I´m going to decorate the cookies” “Ah~ cute! May i Join?”, Nami beamed at you. “Yes! Oh, I´d love to. Here, your coffee” “Thank you”, both girls sat down and toon cookies. “Must they be Christmas themed?” “No. Heavens. Draw what you like on them”, you give each one a plate where they could put the decorative treats.

And so you began to draw and sprinkle. “This is quite fun”, hummed Robin. “Robin? What should that be?” “Why, Soma”, Robin smiled brightly at Nami, who sweatdropped. “Aww, when you present it to him, he will love you so much more” She chuckled and continued. “Je, what are you d-Why are yours so good?!” “Hm~ Nami, you know my baking” “Yes, the sunny looks incredible but this, wow” “I find it amazing that you can´t draw but this, you can” “If I knew why I would use it for drawing”, you admitted.

Both were done and you took their plates to the side. “Thanks, Je” “I must thank you two, they look amazing!” Nami hummed with an >are you serious< face. “Why, I mean it” Smiling softly, the door opened and Sanji came in with Brook. “WHOA! Nami and Robin also joined so I´d be happy if you also make some” “Ah, my beloved! While the three of you decorated, Zoro came in. “What are you doing?” “Decorating Christmas cookies. Join us, Zoro-san” “No. I don´t like sweets”, he yawned. “Oh, and I made some decorations especially with alcohol for you”, you looked away and he slowly turned his head to you. “Why, it´s true”, you admitted. “As if” “Mosshead! As if our Goddess jokes about that!” “Be quiet you onion-cutter! I didn´t ask for any of you stuff” “Now now, don´t fight. Leave him Sanji. Perhaps Zoro can´t draw so he doesn´t want to”, you admitted. “Can´t draw?! I can make better stupid cookies! Give me that shit” You smirked while Brook laughed.

“So, what should that be?” “An Oni Giri” ��...A what? Where should that-”, Sanji was shocked. “Oh yeah. This is the shape and here the swaweed” “Ha! She knows it” “Zoro, only idiots can reconize other idiots drawings” The boy laughed while Zoro flushed red before storming out. “Why did Zoro just cursed and went out?” “Because the idiot swordbrain can´t decorate cookies~”, sang Sanji at Franky and Jinbe. “Yohohohoho, thank you, Goddess-san. It was wonderful” “No! Thank you all for making such pretty cookies. It warms me to see so many decorated kinds” “WHAAAA! Little SiS!”, Franky picked you up and sniffled. “There, There Franky. Would you like to join?” SUPER YES! I make the best ones” You chuckled.

Jinbe also joined in with decorating. “Sorry, it seems that I´m not good as others” “Jinbe that is fine. Nobody is perfect. You can do other stuff better than this” “HAHAHAHAHA! Thank you” “Super! my little sis is the best one!” “As are you, Robo-bro hentai~” “Oi oi~ don´t fluster me”, Franky blushed as Jinbe and you laughed heartful.

With Franky and Jinbe gone, it was quiet again before Chopper and Usopp came in. “Christmas cookies! Christmas cookies!”, Chopper directly sat down next to you. “Robin told us you needed some help decorating”, smirked Usopp. “If you want to, that is” “Yes! That´s why we came! Let us help you” “Of course. And you, master painter, present us thy work of craftiness” Usopp smirked. “Oh, that I will. Your eyes will be blessed” “Looking forward to it...wait, wasn´t Luffy with you?” “He and Soma went on their own. Don´t know where they are”, admitted Usopp.

“DONE!”, Cheered Chopper and eagerly showed you the drawings of cherry blossoms and a hat. “Dr. Hirluk hat?” “Yes!” You tapped the reindeers nose. “Looks amazing, Chopper” He laughed. “And now, low and behold! my beautiful work!”, Usopp presented his cookies. “They look amazing Usopp” “Haha! Top that!”,he laughed at you, making you smile.

Alone yet again, the door opened again. “Ah! JE!”, Luffy bounced to you, still covered in snow and pressed his cheek against yours. “Hello, boys. And? How was your adventure?” You asked while Soma nuzzled into your arms. “We got lost!”, he beamed. “Bub...that isn´t something to be proud off” “Right! why did Usopp looked so down?” “Ah, I beat him in decorating Christmas cookies” Luffy looked at the full table. “WOW!” “Yes. Everyone made a few beside you...and you”, you scratched the chin of your dragon. “YOSH! As captain I also make a few” Shrugging his winter jacket off, he sat next to you, looking at your fingers. You smiled how Soma helped your boyfriend bringing stuff over.

It was a mess. Icing and sprinkes all over Luffys face, a bright grin on his face. His cookies were the messiest of all, declaring he was done. “See! This is you and me!” He held a cookie to you and you smiled, kissing his cheek. “Looks wonderful” “I did my very best!” “I saw” “here, this one is for you”, you handed him one of yours. “WOW! Je you´re incredible! How cool! Soma look” “I´m also done. Want to help me clean up?” “Yeah...can I eat it?” “If you want. These are cookies” “And good cookies! mmmh~”

“Are you two done here?”, Sanji came soon inside. “Yup. Everything cleaned and stored away. Thank you for letting me use it” “Ah, my goddess, always~” “When is dinner ready Sanji?” “2 hours”, his voice went icy to your boyfriend. “Wha?! So long?” “Yes”, he simply said and you whispered something in his ear. “YES! I go on ahead!”

Using his devil fruit, he grabbed something. “Oh!”, he blinked before giving you a short kiss. “I´m back!” You bursted out into laughter. “Welcome home” And with that, he was gone, Sanji being yet again, deeply depressed.

[ ASK GAME ] || sorry this took so long. I woke up later than I usually do and then had to decide which paras I wanted to talk about...ended up going with my newest para couple from @madasacrow, Ozzie & Neil! Here's what they look like (sans Ozzie's robo arms):

Ozzie likes to hold Neil with his actuators. This is especially helpful when Neil is feeling particularly bite-y and needs to be put in air jail for a few minutes.

Honestly, Ozzie just holding Neil in general (like with his regular arms) calms him down significantly. Probably has something to do with Neil being touch starved as hell.

Neil isn't used to human contact. Like, in general, but mostly physical. It took him a long time to understand what a "hug" was, and that it meant Ozzie liked him.

The robotic tentacles Ozzie uses are sentient, and they adore Neil. He's like their second dad.

After they retire from villainy, the two live in a nice apartment, still choosing to live in Prism Pulse. On occasion, they'll don their villain aliases again to help their former rivals (Lucky Moth & Arachne).

Neil grew up in a lab and has like….0 social skills. His point of reference for how people act are the few movies & TV shows he was shown for whatever reason. He's definitely looked at any romance movie & went "me n who" multiple times. (Yknow how in Wall•E he's always wanting to hold Eva's hand bc of the movie he likes...yeah that's Neil around Ozzie)

Neil gifts Ozzie every single octopus-themed item he finds. Their favorite pastime / bonding activity is watching movies together…especially bad movies — the shittier the better they LOVE making fun of them.

((NSFW)) Being born in a lab, Neil didn't know a whole lot about the outside world, aside from what he was told & shown. Ozzie introduced him to hentai / tentacle porn real quick.

((NSFW)) Neil is very…sensitive and hasn't had basically any sexual experience, so he doesn't last very long. Thankfully, he has a LOT of energy, and Ozzie has 6 arms, so the two are usually able to do multiple rounds / keep each other satisfied.
