field guide to mushrooms & other fungi of south africa by marieka gryzenhout & gary b. goldman (likely less useful to people outside RSA)

using pinterest to find pretty photos, then reading through the wikipaedia for more info. ^^

inaturalist website !!

the fantastic fungi documentary on netflix.

fascinated by fungi podcast.

this is all i've currently looked at since mycology books are rare & very expensive here (though i do have a wishlist) !!

local wildlife tours.

i also recommend checking local bookstores / online stores cos what you have in your country will be very different to mine. ^^

Who is the easiest/hardest character for you to write about? Why?

Thanks for the ask @women-inthe-sequel!! Easiest is James because he’s such a straight shooter, the same for Ron Weasley. Hardest is... any character over 25?? I don’t know why, like in that category some are still harder than others but compared to the kids I just feel like I’m out of my depth and I feel like I’m faking it for a few lines of dialogue, a few moments on the page, but I don’t understand them as well... This is probably a dead giveaway of how old I am XD

Tedoire working at an animal shelter

- Victoire needs some volunteer hours for school, and who doesn't love animals? So she takes a few shifts at the shelter run by her uncle Charlie.

- Quickly, Victoire realizes that she is very allergic to cats and also very scared of their claws.

- Teddy just graduated high school and is using the summer before college to try to "find himself" by working overtime at the shelter.

- Victoire runs in one morning, eyes watering and sniffling and trying to explain what she saw. There's a poor cat stranded outside, but she can't pick it up. She already has some serious scratches and keeps rubbing her eyes.

- They save the cat! While he's bandaging Victoire's arms later, he notices that her eyes are a totally new shade of blue.

which percy jackson character am i and which one is you and which one is marieka and v please explain and provide 2 examples from the text this is worth 30% of your grade <3 (but really assign us pjo characters i only read the first book lmao)

You are grover I think.....idk if you remember grover fromt eh first book but he is trying his best and just wants to help everyone and anything. He wants to protect his friends and he wants to save the planet and he is just amazing and he also has anxiety which is like a mood xD also you would be able to speak to animals 

@women-inthe-sequel I feel like is annabeth in the sense that she fights for what is right and is very sure of her own personal standings, but she is loyal and wants to see the best in her friends, plus she is just a bad ass and so is Marieka <3 

@magic-girl-in-a-muggle-world would be Thalia because she would definitely do anything she could to save her friends, and V radiates power lbr, she would totally be the daughter of the big three. Plus, imagine V leading the hunters of artemis is would be ICONIC she is an actual QUEEN. also bad ass. 

I would be a random person who witnessed yall being amazing but im seeing it through the mist so i am in awe and am confused and dont really know whats going on, but im for it. Plus i would TOTALLY be spelled asleep during a giant battle, but instead of because of a titan it would be because im perpetually tired.
