Rumble x human!reader

He started panicking when he realized a complete stranger was under him. trying to get up from the ground, but he was in such a rush he started squashing your body without noticing. It wasn’t until you yelped in pain he stopped moving.

 “Move… my leg. You’re on my leg.” Your voice ragged and meek trying to squirm your way out of the heavy bot, he realized his knee was on your leg. Removing it he finally noticed that you were indeed a squishy native.

Not many of your kind were on the nemesis. 

He knew your kind were fragile, but not this much. Seeing liquid dripping from your face as you examined yourself, checking your injuries he felt a strange pull at his spark.

“Sorry fleshy, I didn’t know you were there.” 

You looked to him, liquid was no longer dripping from your strange optics. your pained breaths and groans may have been quiet, but his audio receptors caught them.

Usually he never cared for the damage of his actions, but seeing you like this made the strange feeling in his spark pull stronger. 

Trying not to get mad at him. You concluded that it must have been an accident. So trying your best to be nice you responded with a “Don’t worry.” Now straining a smile towards him, “it’s my fault anyway. Im not supposed to be down here on the ground.” He tilted his helm at this.

“then why in the name of primus did you get in the way ?!”

You felt a bit offended, especially at his tone. It was also partially his fault. yet he didn’t care. Frowning a bit, you’re already started dreading the next few weeks if all your interactions were going to be like this.

“Well, sorry for being in the way, but soundwave is going to be my supervisor for a few weeks.” snapping back at him with your anger. Patience already lowered to the limit.

He could tell you were annoyed, heck he was a bit annoyed too. You were wasting his time on hiding from Soundwave’s rage. Any minute now he could get here, and here he was dealing with a fleshy. an.angry.fleshy.

“Look squishy, we don’t have time for this.” He needed to go. But the thought of just leaving you there hurt him. “Why, Shouldn’t your mission be over by now?”

You knew this by ravage and Lazerbeak being back, and you knew their own smaller quarters was next to yours. So where was he trying to go to now?

Frustrated, he simply picked you up, “no more questions.” Now he was holding you princess style. But his grip, it was a bit tight. Every step he took hurt, but you suppressed any noise.

He didn’t intend to take you, but he could feel Frenzy message that Soundwave was almost there. Rushing to take you to his secret hideout, he started noticing things about you.

For one, you were extremely warm. Two, you were smaller than him. And three, you made a strange face every once in a while. It would scrunch up then you’d release a breath.

You were incredibly interesting to say the least, though he kinda wishes you met in different circumstances.

Soundwave's cassettes fighting over reader? Can be romantic or platonic, those beasties deserve attention and will not hesitate to fight for it

It had started with Ratbat beating at Frenzy with his wings, forcing his servos of your frame. The feisty little mech left score marks in the brawler's red paint, setting off a catastrophe. On top of your berth.

"Get outta here with that!" Rumble kicks at both Frenzy and Ratbat, sending the two tumbling over the berth's edge in a squawking fit, as they tried to put dents in each other. Ravage leapt up from his half-sleep, sharp claws finding Rumble's shoulder pauldron and getting curled deep in the armor. He devolved into loud yowling, spitting and hissing profanities at the blue mech for not releasing his claws. Although, it was his fault.

Laserbeak joins the yelping, taking to the air despite the enclosed space, trying to get as far from flying elbows as possible. Buzzsaw, blessed and semi-reasonable, tries to gently pry Ravage's claws out of the squirming and fighting Rumble with his precise beak. It only earns him a bop to the face from the mech's fist.

Somewhere along the way, your work datapad gets scratched and whipped out of your hand by Ravage's flailing, fighting tail. A casualty in the fight. You mourn the report you were almost finished with, not having thought to save it even once.

Hello Anon 🖤🖤🖤 I literally don't know what to say except thank you so much 😳 I feel like I've never made anyone feral before so I'm screaming and kicking my feet 🥰

As for III's hair? I'm gonna say I am 100% sure it's straight up black. I agree that the lighting was very dim for most of the ritual, and that definitely contributed to a lot of the confusion around his hair color.

He also has an undercut now and I'm so 👀👀👀🖤🖤🖤 I'm hoping we get more clear photos of him with these upcoming rituals in Australia because damn!

TBH black is the easiest to do if he wanted to switch it up from the red he had at Wembley, if you take into account the fading color + root regrowth. He probably didn't want to go through the hassle of bleaching his roots right before an insane flight to Australia so he just went with black, which covers everything (I say this as someone who dyed her hair black for 6 years straight as a teenager/young adult).

As a side note: I would also bet money that he used boxed permanent hair dye. I can't see him re-dying it with semipermanent color every 3 weeks while on tour the next two months, unless he's literally gonna be rinsing the dye out with water bottles in alleyways behind venues 🤣

Anyway after meeting jacks (extended) family Miko and raf confront their friend. Jack with permission from his mom shows the others that he is infact a cybertronion cassette. Miko thinks this is so cool especially after Jack introduces her to percepter,drift,whirl, and Rodimus who she inevitably bugs for wrecker story’s. Raf is introduced to first aid and ratchet who is a lot happier here. At dinner time the two meet back at Soundwave house and are introduced to rumble and frenzy rat bat and the bird twins. Ravage and howlback are introduced by June who is actually Glit. As the dinner progresses they find out how all these bots where brought to this dimension (it’s brainstorms fault) and that they can’t return home.

I have more ideas but I’m on my lunch break and am almost out of time.😅

Frenzy only appears a handful of times in G1. (The red and black cassette is referred to as Frenzy in the G1 cartoon. I know there’s some debate XD) But anyway, he’s only in a handful of episodes. And more than once he like tosses around a bot multiple times his size with ease.

Skywarp tried to step on him, and he just sends him across the room. He tackles Optimus Prime and wrestles him on the ground. Optimus only gets out of the hold when Frenzy lets him go to move out of the way of a big laser blast. But yeah he’s full of malice, and I know G1 is pretty inconsistent but he was just throwing the big bots around.

(Side note. I do use they/them pronouns for my version of Frenzy. But G1 Frenzy is written with he/him, so I used those pronouns here.)

i was so excited to get this ask that i gave myself 15 minutes to draw something for it so here's that:

now as for the actual answer:

Rumble and Frenzy think he's hoity toity, high-and-mighty, holier-than-thou at first, but they quickly realize he's actually just stuffy and a bit lecture-y.

The three of them get along shockingly well sometimes. Minimus is content to be dragged along on the twins' shenanigans, though he rebukes them all the while.

They use him for a fall-guy at first (he does a fantastic job of staying behind in order to explain the situation to wounded parties while the twins leave the scene) but after Soundwave gave them an earful about leaving Minimus to the mercies of angry mecha, they stop letting Minimus do that (Minimus only got hurt once, but he's pretty quick when motivated so he didn't get hurt that badly!)

All told, they become something like friends. Certainly the twins are Minimus's confidants when it comes to the woes of his feelings for Ravage. Soundwave also hears about this, of course, but the twins provide a little more gratifying theatre and sharp-tongued commentary.

And for the question you didn't ask but I'm answering anyway: do they interface?

Yes! they do. Not often, maybe a few times, but they have a homies in the streets and in the sheets dynamic going for a little bit, but Minimus eventually puts a stop to it for 'I feel weird interfacing with my friends when I'm pining for my other friend' reasons, and the twins accept this easily. Their friendship remains unaffected by the shifting dynamics.

I love these chaotic idiots and have been thinking of them as pilots for a while now. Still haven't figured out their designs so these doodles and messing around with picrews is all i have, currently.

I've also been slowly looking into different types of brain damage and how it can affect you, because of these two. So that's certainly something.

How do they end up meeting Soundwave? No idea yet, but they probably tried to metaphorically bite him when they first saw him. If the mecha suits had actual mouths then that scenario wouldn't have been as metaphorical, honestly
