On a sexuality note I feel like Crowley is like demi-sexual but also doesn’t have a very high sex drive at all however I feel like he seduces people (aziraphale) for the dopamine high of it (cause adhd) but he mostly just wants to cuddle him and like talk to him for hours and like gaze into his eyes

To me, Alastor AND Rosie are aromantic. They are just on complete opposite spectrums

Rosie: romance-favourable. She lives for the tea. She wants to hear all about how the fourth husband treats you so much better than the first and especially better than the second husband.

Alastor: romance-repulsed. Wishes to be anywhere else when relationships are discussed, or to dissociate right then and there. He has to keep it together and use willpower on 1000% capacity so to not kill anyone when someone flirts with him or even implies something. He took Charlie to Rosie partially so he wouldn't have to hear her ranting about her relationship problems anymore.

I strongly believe it's acephobic to bend ace characters into being allo, whether its a headcanon or fanfic. Whatever the case is, it's still erasure. People seem to be more willing to slide past it bc they don't treat asexuality seriously.

he used to find cool rocks to give to sirius and when james took him to the beach he gave him all the best shells

when he jumped in that lake he imagined being pushed because it made it easier

the last thing he thought about was his socks getting wet

he wanted someone to find him he didn’t want to be alone in death, he didn’t want to be a mystery

It’s incredibly telling how the characters that are more wildly headcanoned to be ace, by allos as well as aces, are almost always the non conventionally attractive ones

Like yeah we’ll let this one be ace because we don’t want to bang them anyway.

This hot one though? With the gorgeous eyes and flowing hair? Couldn’t possibly be ace. No way in hell. Because then we’d feel guilty about wanting to bang them.

And yes, of course people can headcanon whatever they want, but after a certain point the “asexuality when convenient for them” of it all feels offensive.

And then when we headcanon a character as ace who is considered hot, people are so quick to jump in with the “ummm actually…”s because they don’t like it when you bring up the possibility of someone they’re attracted to being ace. It’s a headcanon. People have their own opinions. Shhhh.

Hot people can be asexual. People are not just asexual at your convenience. People are not just asexual because nobody wants them. Someone else finish this thought

I think it would be hilarious if Alastor had a habit of saying things like “I swear to Lucifer.” Or “Oh my Lucifer!” Before him and Luci even met, so when they do meet it’s like:

Alastor: Oh my Lucifer!-

Lucifer: Oh your what.

Lucifer: I’m your what.

Alastor: Nothing.

Lucifer: Do you want me to be yours, bellhop.

if you see a male character kiss a male character, you assume they are gay.

if you see a female character kiss a female character, you assume they are a lesbian.

if you hear a character say they don't feel like their gender, you assume they are trans.

so why do a-spec characters have to jump through so many loops?

a character saying they've never had a crush or don't want a relationship or that they don't understand romantic love is so often ignored or used as fodder for other queer or autistic headcanons (reinforcing stereotypes that aroace people are secretly gay or always autistic)

why is it that our stories are always "up to interpretation"? why do we have to wait for the words aromantic or asexual to be said to be taken seriously? why is it that even when characters say they don't want relationships, fans will scream and cry about sex/romance favourable aspecs and qprs?

when it comes to gay and trans characters, even the likes of bisexual lighting is often treated as though it canonises their sexuality. for aroace characters, even the most explicit coding possible is swept under the rug in favour of other "interpretations"

i'm so tired of fighting for representation just to have it ignored and minimised by fans. let characters be aroace. please.

Lilith was forsing him into dancing with her. She was trying to make him want her and never let him have it, but Alastor just...isn't into that, and Lilith is kinda confused. Al could consider it a win, but he'd prefer never had this situation at all

I love Rosie's and Alastor's dynamic.

Rosie 100% knows that Alastor is aroace. Romance is her thing. He doesn't have a single trace of it.

But Alastor doesn't because he simply doesn't know that it's a thing.

He thinks that other people are weird about sex and romance. It's such a simple and, in his opinion, dumb weakness. Easy to use for manipulation.
