I don’t mean to come after this person for misunderstanding me or misunderstanding this line but they are not calling him androgynous, they’re calling him emasculated. They’re calling him dickless.

Also they were never calling him asexual, either, they’d be saying he doesn’t get laid. I’m not trying to deny potential for ace rep here but Pierre is not your man. He is very sexual. His whole life is miserable because he was too horny to think before marrying Hélène.

I got to see Natasha, Pierre, and the Great comet of 1812 the other day (great show) and the whole time I was thinking "the Aroace people on my phone would love this"

It's one of the few shows where the main plot is a romance and it's pretty explicitly (at least to me) portrayed as not great.

There's a song (dust and ashes) about how we're not really alive until we find love, but that same character ends the show in what I interpreted as a platonic relationship and seemed pretty happy about.

It can definitely be interpreted as just a typical allosexual relationship and I'm not sure what the author intended but it's my post now and I'm headcannoning Pierre as AroAce so yeah

hello! yelena’s sexuality is never explicitly stated in the comics, and while i definitely understand where the notion of her being asexual comes from, i personally interpret it as a conglomeration of identity that she doesn’t even quite understand. in my opinion, yelena is not interested in sex enough to fully partake in it in occasion— but that doesn’t mean she isn’t curious & sometimes driven by lust (especially when it comes to natasha). if i had to state a label for her i suppose demisexuality fits best; but it still doesn’t cover her own struggles with intimacy. she is not comfortable with it, but neither appalled or disgusted. she’s a work in progress & doesn’t even care if she finds closure or not.
