A lot of lore for the au is still in bits and pieces beacuse uni decided to kinda hit me like a truck this semester :’) im sorry about that

With my hotguy au the only rule I set for myself is that I’m fully following the guidelines for characters set by Scar on that one stream he did. So each role is (kinda) exactly what he wanted it to be (even if it meant making jellie an actual mayor and trying to make that work) and Im just trying my best to actually pull it together into one big au that is 90% just very silly and 10% angst backstories. I will be adding some characters which weren’t in the list tho! Like Scott (who for now is a starlord alien pirate who travels with Cleo on her space piracy adventures) and Joel (idk what he will do yet but hes gonna be there)

As for specific lore that hasn’t been out in the world yet, i can give you some of grians backstory I came up with help from the one, the only @1captainjordan4 my beloved 💕

(As I was writing this i kinda realised that this got really long im sorry, i will put it under keep reading ;-; also im not the best at writing stuff out so excuse that)

In this au Grian and Pearl are siblings who have been orphaned and have been living as street rats all their childhood. They have become accustomed to stealing and fighting (and got kinda good at it) from a very early age and steadily have been falling more and more into criminal circles.

During that time Grian got approached by the Watchers organisation who promised to provide for both him and Pearl in exchange of him spying on their behalf, being a messenger etc. Desperate, he accepts their offer but hides it from Pearl and just says he got a legit job or smth, knowing she would not approve of it as it is too dangerous and would try to discourage him and look for another way.

The missions grew more and more dangerous and with each one Grian distanced himself from Pearl further and further. (Which in turn pushed her to seek the truth and become an investigative journalist)

As time goes on Grian gets a job as a scientist and actually tries to live a normal life as a “retired villain” but still is unable to fully escape the Watchers who force him to take jobs every so often. This pattern continues until he gets indebted to Scar who saves him and in true Grian fashion just Has To stick around and help him until the debt is repaid and thus becoming cuteguy!

Thank you so much!! M'gann is so fun to draw! As for comics, I actually struggle with recommending some because sadly Miss Martian doesn't have a solo run. She first appears in Geoff Johns' Teen Titans (2003, issue #39 goes into her character more, but she appeared before that) run, but I'm told she's at her most prominent in the Young Justice animated show even if they take some liberties. Here's a great video on her history and creation!

My version of M'gann is very different from canon, in that I'm giving her a more fleshed out familial relationship with J'onn and Martian fam and distancing her from her "we have Supergirl at home" roots with a different story. Leaning less into the contrived Martian racism and more into the social struggles with human social cues and, of course, migrant angst.

i have like a million ideas for a vampire Anton au it’s insane. like Anton as a vampire would literally be almost everything i love in a character, like this concept is too powerful for my brain to think about… there’s SO many different possibilities

i think Anton as a vampire would overall find humans very interesting and treat them decently ish but wouldn’t really view them as actual people because they are food for him. he’d be so so so possessive over his thrall if he had one but like sooo gentle when feeding because he genuinely doesn’t wanna hurt anyone and actually cares about the wellbeing of his human (kinda like his test subjects). he would take care of his human and spend time with them and get them everything they want cuz he’d want them to be happy there too. of course he can’t let his human go because they are his food source (he’d have very very strong mind control/hypnosis powers of course) but likeeee if I was the human.. i mean we’d probably become friends like i’d be fully okay with the arrangement and he’d trust me to have a bit more freedom!!!!

anyway Anton as a vampire is also very silly and weird. i like it when vampires can turn into bats so he can do that too. i think he’d just be so much fun to be around because he’d wanna learn more about humans and also talk a lot about vampire stuff too idk he’d just be really fun to talk to. but like, he likes blood. he LOVES blood and he’d be even more possessive over his human than he is in tllr. he wants his little human and their blood all to himself!!!!

Exactly, I’ve seen the fandom explore Carmen and Roy’s relationship regarding his CSA but never with Richard. I think it’s ashamed because there’s a lot you can write for the relationship, even outside of their CSA.

Omg that’s a good scene idea. The Hatzgang are realized there is a deeper issue, and Roy has to unfortunately unpack that generational trauma. I can see how learning his dad is a possible CSA victim, like him, starts pushing Roy to tell his parents but also discourages him because basically Richard unknowingly knew Roy was SA but never recognized it because he doesn’t know he was SA too. I also believe Richard normalized his brother’s actions too. It’s truly devastating how Richard indirectly contributed to the normalization of Roy’s abuse but he doesn’t know it’s SA. He believes those fun “games” him and his brother played were normal family bonding activities and is happy to hear his son is getting along with his brother, a brother he admired when growing up.

These headcanons might change as the series continues and the deeper I get into research.

I headcanon Carmen doesn’t know anything but has suspected something was off a few times. She never thought anything of Richard’s behavior at first because he alway been this way. When they became adults, she started questioning as Richard still had issues with intimacy at that point in their relationship and his alcoholism was at its worst. (Short ver: Richard started drinking at a young age to cope with trauma of his SA and the Uncle encouraged this, buying him alcohol for various reasons. Modern day, Richard is a functional alcoholic but has gotten better with his drinking)

As of the moment, Roy’s parents are unaware of Roy’s CSA. The day the Uncle died, Roy did get in trouble but for separate reasons. Carmen and Richard were mad at Roy for hanging out with “plebeians” and sending them to one of his uncle’s private properties. Roy doesn’t feel comfortable telling them yet because they’re snobby, judgmental people, so he assumes they won’t react well.

I've actually thought a bit about what it was like for him the first few days of living with Team Dark, being free from Doleon and the comet for the first time. If this were to happen?

He PANICS. BADLY. Apologizing like crazy, immediately rushing to try and fix it. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up accidentally getting cuts on his hands/gloves trying to do so. He's shaking, he's holding back from crying as much as he can.

It's not the cup breaking specifically that causes this though. It's the mistake itself. Making that mistake.

And the worst part? He doesn’t really care that it hurts him. He WON’T STOP unless someone either somehow calms him down or just forces him away from the pieces. He expects punishment for the simplest of mistakes. He can’t EVER make mistakes. But maybe he can fix them before bad things happen? That's a mentality he still carries.

Yeah, he could get told its fine, it was just an accident, no problem, but he won't really believe it. This is not fine. He can't just mess up like that. He's expecting some kind of new claw marking on his arm or face. To be grabbed and shouted at, told he's pathetic and useless, as he should. He's supposed to get hurt.

But...that isn't happening. Is that not how this works? Since when was just...talking to him an option? Apparently, this was just a small accident, no one's upset with him. No, that's just how Shadow looks.

It's strange...but Terios much prefers this. Once he can get past the leftover panic, he feels...okay. In a surprisingly but genuinely positive way.

So I've been cooking up some alternate outfit ideas for my Lmk sona and this is what they'd look like if they were with the Demon Bull Family! The idea is basically they'd be something of a court musician but it's mainly just a title.

I don't have a concrete story but the initial idea was that cas was friends with swk in the brotherhood days and stuck with dbk after everyone else got sealed away and the whole consumption incident went down since she had nowhere else to go (and conveniently was the only lady around that he could ask for relationship advice when courting Iron Fan). They didn't expect Cas to live this long, only really expecting to have her around through her natural lifespan but they noticed she wasn't aging so now she gets to be their babysitter for date nights! Through the years she's been something of an aunt/sister figure and has become fiercely loyal to the family despite having no desire to take over the world. Redson built her electric bass and the armor she wears over her gems, the Bass has 2 extra buttons on it- the fire button spews fire out of the pipes and the Bull button unsheathes her sword from the neck of the instrument since she can't exactly walk around with a sword on her hip so easy these days. She travels with a heavy metal band across the continent- i like to imagine her intro episode has the crew excited about a big band coming to the city and while they wait they run into redson and annoy him cause he's bragging about getting exclusive vip passes to the show. The crew would expect someone mean from the music and the from the rest of the family but Cas is super welcoming and nice when the crew sneak backstage to bother redson some more XD

This one may or may not be as interesting but...Dark One Robin? Like, we got Dark One Emma (underwhelming as that may have been) so what about Robin?

first of all i'm so glad that as a fandom we all saw dark one emma and went, "uhhhh not sure about this one actually."

second of all, i could totally see a scene between nancy and robin that's similar to the, "you've worked too hard to have your happiness destroyed!" but i can't see robin ever becoming the dark one :( (i also don't care for the dark one storyline in ouat lol) but beyond that, i also haven't planned this au that far 😅 for me right now i've planned to like, the neverland arc (iconic) and that's about it 😅😅

plus, i don't want this to be a strict following the exact timeline of the show, i've definitely changed some things to fit nancy and robin and steve and eddie and everyone, even though they're most definitely based on regina, emma, snow, and charming.

i think dark one ouat au robin could most definitely work, but it's just not something i can see happening in this au, and not something i could totally see for robin's character in general.

This is not really a question but just popping into say that I am OBSESSED with your boy king Seb au.

Is this partially because Seb is my favourite driver? Yes. Is this partially due to the fact that history and by extension, historical fiction one of my favourite things ever? Yes.

This is a really random tangent but when you mentioned the AU being loosely based on the Spanish War of Succession, I was like I recognise this but from where? I looked it up and realised that I learnt a little about it when I studied Louis XIV. This also reminded of how much I used to love making fun of Louis XIV as well.

This just struck me as I was writing this but since Fernando is based on Philip and if I remember correctly comes from Renault (basically) in this au, would that make Flavio Briatore the Louis XIV in this universe...

That makes me so haopy to hear 🥹 But you're so real, this au does in fact stem from my obsessions with my f1 boys and history. I'm very happy to have found a way to combine my two major interests into one thing 🤭🤭 But as I said to someone earlier today, it often feels like this AU is just a way for me to force-feed people niche history trivia LOL

Imagining Flavio as Louis XIV gave me a heart attack sjkfkflf, that man cannot and should not have that amount of power 😭 Flavio is Fernando's top advisor!! I think he works better as someone working behind the scenes, in the shadows, the little devil on Fernando's shoulder. I like to imagine he's some merchant who gained enough reputation and favor, that Fernando's father or smth was like, yeah sure you can be my son's advisor....not knowing he'd become king later on.

I think he obviously genuinely really cares for Fernando and makes decisions in his best interest but uhhhhh is not upset when it also happens to put a bit of money in his own pocket. I imagine he was like, super gung-ho about the arranged marriage, and giving fernsndo all these platitudes like "don't you think this is your best chance at being King 🥺 maybe you can find true love 🥺" but then is also making deals behind the scenes sjkfkv. Just constantly doing mental arithmetic, weighing out and balancing how much he's benefitting Fernando, and how much he's benefitting himself. Also lol, I like to imagine he tries to be all schemey with Seb, but then can't help but become endeared with him(reminds him of a younger Fernando 🤧)
