i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page. When I detail the hands- just know shits getting real #I'm really happy with how I was able to redraw Toriel here. it really is so funny that eddie is the one who has not only gone to therapy multiple times, but has encouraged and prioritized therapy for his son, continued to use therapy language and techniques, demonstrates a lot of self-awareness of his own issues, is pretty vulnerable with people when given the chance, and so on, but buck (guy who is famously Not Ok and doesn’t know how to deal with being Not Ok and also does not demonstrate any lasting impact from the brief therapy he did do) is always implicitly considered the Emotionally Intelligent Touchy-Feely Therapized Enlightened guy because he externalizes all his feelings. lol

#and also is white. lol #like eddie has struggled but he has actually improved and that improvement is part of his character arc #saw claire’s post .. jsut thinkin lol #this shit makes me so so annoyed like even the jokes are like. the first episode of fhjy was such a fucking blast. one of my favorite moments was most of the bad kids succeeding on their saving throws against being Frightened by the Night Yorb but Adaine failed, and when Brennan asked Siobhan how this looks/feels for Adaine, Siobhan was answered “i feel a panic attack coming on.”

and it’s like. as much as Adaine has changed since the beginning, it’s really refreshing to see that her anxiety disorder didn’t vanish with her character development. like, they’re acknowledging how that kinda stuff doesn’t just go away — you can’t really get over it so easily. Love u forever Adaine & Siobhan <3

#i know this isn’t a new take or anything #it’s just really nice to see they haven’t forgotten or anything #and i don’t want it to seem like i’m SURPRISED that they’re committed to represent these things well — i know there’s a lot of care that #goes into making & staying true to these characters #i’m just really happy that fantasy high/d20 as a whole is a show that represents this kinda stuff tactfully and truthfully #as truthful as you can be with game mechanics lol #excellent first episode yall. i’m so fucking excited for the AP and ep 2 :3 #dimension 20 #fantasy high #fantasy high junior year #fantasy high junior year spoilers #fhjy #fhjy spoilers #adaine abernant #siobhan thompson
