okay
i'm back in the fucking building again
so, even loving parents can treat you wrong and be bad. even when it's showed as "funny gig" it still doesn't have to be considered normal. yk, i love my mum and dad with all my heart, they definitely love me and wish only the best for me, but there's still things i'm gonna think about for the rest of my life cause this events greatly negatively impacted my behaviour and world perception.
and when mitsuki hits katsuki for the sake of joke and blames him for the kidnapping, and after that katsuki repeats this same things while crying to midoriya... that isn't right.
like, wonder why he's so determined to deal with everything by himself and his basic way to solve any problems is his fists. yeah, society as all formed katsuki's behaviour by constantly praising him, but mitsuki's personal impact also is very much there. ofc she wouldn't speak about it with aizawa cause neither kats nor mitsuki can easily admit they're wrong, but she's his mother. parents usually affect their kids the most.
notice how mitsuki is saying that everyone was putting katsuki on the pedestal and nothing about what she and masaru were doing with all of this. they definitely couldn't entirely change his world views but that's still somehow strange for me that she didn't take any credit for how katsuki turned out.
like, we all agree that mineta's shit is entirely wrong even when horikoshi doesn't, so why can't we understand that mitsuki's ways of parenting aren't right.
#also i know that in this post i spoke only about mitsuki while katsuki ✨surprise✨ has both parents#masaru is also to blame#but rather for being passive than for actively planting wrong ideas#i'm just not so interested in his character as i am in mitsuki's#but don't think i put all the responsibility in raising children on mothers#bakugou katsuki#bnha#mha#my hero academia#boku no hero academia#bakugou mitsuki#katsuki bakugou#mha bakugou#why the second somebody's talking about mitsuki being wrong#people attacking them with “mitsuki isn't abusive!!1!”#like no shit sherlock#haven't compared her to endeavour unlike u mr “14-yr old is as bad as a man who spent his life abusing own family”

Ch. 1 - A Mother's Only Choice March, 2003
It was another week, the same routine. You were content with your routine. Dare you say...happy?
You went up and down each aisle, clutching the shopping basket against your side and humming a quiet tune to yourself as you picked up a few groceries to last the rest of the week. You had a family to get home to: a husband who worked hard enough that you could stay home despite how on again, off again things were in your relationship, and a sweet, baby daughter of only one years old. Technically she was nearly two, but you didn't want to rush things; she had already been reaching so many of her milestones. She was strapped to your back fast asleep as you finished your shopping. You could hear her tiny, snoozy breaths just behind your ear.
Despite how many hours your husband, Masaru, worked, money was always a little tight. He blamed it on the economy and you couldn't argue. He was right, the world was getting a bit rough. You offered to find work to help raise more money – not that you needed it, he made enough for the three of you to get by. But each time you brought up potentially finding a job, he quickly shot it down for various reasons. There was no arguing with him, he'd always find a way to combat your ideas, but it at least meant you could stay at home with Tsumiki. You took the perspective that he was trying to keep you safe, that he wanted Tsumiki to have consistent care.
Once you completed your shopping run, you began your trek back home. The three of you lived in a small, two bedroom apartment in a village just two hours outside of Tokyo.
You waltzed up the stairs to the second floor where home was and struggled to get your key in the lock as clumsy you always would. Tsumiki was beginning to stir while strapped to your back. Eventually, you shoved the door open and plopped the bags on the counter before loosening the straps of the back carrier.
As you carefully undid the carrier with Tsumiki now happily playing in her playpen, Masaru sleepily exited the master bedroom. His hair was a complete mess and he was just in a white undershirt and boxers.
"Hey, honey," you greeted happily as the back carrier fell to the sofa. Your greeting was sweet as always, but this time you had to do a double take.
"Y/N..." he seemed startled to find you home. Your shopping trip was shorter than usual, but you hadn't realized just how routine your routine had become.
"What are you doing home so soon?" You shook your head in confusion, now wondering what he was doing at home. His usual arrival was around ten in the evening on Wednesdays, but it was only half past four.
You began to analyze his look as he searched his brain for an answer. You wondered how he was able to fit an entire nap in the middle of the day, particularly after the train ride home. "I-I...was able to get off early today..." But you suddenly knew as your eyes traced the neckline of his stretched out t-shirt. A hint of pink lipstick could be found on the collar. "As a reward for all of the long hours I've put in!" Genius.
"Where is she?" Your heart sunk, your voice as quiet as it could be. This wasn't the first time you had been in this position thanks to him. "Is she in there?" Your hand shook as you lifted it to point toward your shared bedroom.
"Y/N, what are you talking about?" Masaru scoffed. "You're just being paranoid."
You were ignoring him, opting to walk straight toward the bedroom with wide eyes as your body fell into a panic. As he continued pleading with you to stop your search, you tore apart the bedroom. Clothing was strewn out of the closet, the bed skirt ripped apart...you left no stone unturned, but there was nothing, no one, to be found.
You turned back to look at your husband with a certain type of ferocity. He stood with a satisfied yet bored look on his face. You felt your eyes well up with tears which prompted him to soften and comfort you.
He gently held your head against his chest as you let tears fall down your cheek. But the knot in your throat evaporated the minute you smelled the perfume ingrained within the cheap fabric of his shirt.
You scoffed with a smile and ripped yourself away from him. "I'm going to look for a job," you declared suddenly.
He looked at you funny with the change in topic. "I've told you, Y/N, it's not necessary. You don't need a job."
"I'm getting a job," you pointed at him assertively. "If your work is able to give you time in the afternoons, you're able to look after Tsumiki. You're not stopping me, not this time." He was a bit speechless. Your usually soft demeanor had changed so quickly into someone he didn't know.
Suddenly, rage engulfed him. He became a man you didn't know. His hand pulled back with your sass as fire filled his eyes. Your mouth began to fall open, your own eyes filled with fear as the hand began to come down until your cheek was met with a certain sting. Your head sharply turned from the pressure of the slap. The force was enough to nearly knock you to the ground, but you were able to stay steady. Hot tears filled your eyes but so did your own rage. You weren't going to stand for that kind of behavior.
"Again, I'm finding a job," you declared. Masaru's face was one of shock, as if he were shocked that he had stooped to that level. He had left his own self speechless, and he couldn't argue back -- he knew that.
You had won this round, but only because you knew there was something coming. There was no way he wasn't cheating. You were going to get to the bottom of things and you were going to raise money to get you and Tsumiki out of there. Your eyes had been opened.
Despite the tension from the afternoon disturbance, you still tucked your daughter into bed at night. This night, you had big dreams for a hopeful future – away from the man you had once thought loved you. At the same time, you couldn't believe you were thinking of him this way. He was once someone you considered your soulmate, but the pain of betrayal that you felt quickly trumped anything else you felt.
In bed that night, you laid awake in deep thought as your husband loudly snored next to you. Why you let him sleep next to you after what happened, you didn't know. You began to see all of the bad things after the last few years of marriage – each manipulation tactic, each potential moment he could have been cheating, each piece of abuse he hid under plastic affection. Despite the pain in your chest, it was driving you to do better. You had to...for her.
The next morning, Masaru woke up for "work" and left you behind as he always did. You looked through different sites to try and find something for work that fit your personality and expertise. In the middle of your search, your mother called and opened a door into a world you'd long forgotten.
"I'm happy to hear Dad's doing better," you sighed as you sprawled out on the sofa. Tsumiki was fast asleep for an afternoon nap as you took her call. "I'm glad he also decided to finally retire, he's way beyond his years in that line of work." Your mother made a hum of agreement. "Speaking of work," you continued, "I'm looking for a job myself."
"Really, now?" She sounded surprised. "So you finally won the argument?"
"Not exactly, but if I don't stand up for myself now I never will. And right now, with Tsumiki, that's really crucial," you sighed, "but nothing's piquing my interest."
"Well, rumor has it, one of the primary clans has a job available. And considering you're a mother yourself, you might just fit the bill!" Your mother chuckled. She knew how you felt about your familial roots in the world of jujutsu, and just how toxic the environment could be.
"Mom..." you started with a wary tone.
"Supposedly one of the Zenin family members..." she paused, "excuse me, former Zenin family members," she corrected herself, "had a baby. Unfortunately, the baby's mother passed away and the father, well, he's the ex-Zenin, and is obviously out of the picture. They need a nanny, to put it short."
You thought in silence for a moment. You were about to correct her idea, not wanting to dive back into a world of violence, but considering the nature of the work...she was right. It was a great possibility considering how wealthy the primary clans were.
"Allegedly, the baby has inherited one of the Zenin techniques," she continued with your prolonged silence, "that, of course, makes it really important he be taken care of."
"Send me the information, I'll check it out," you finally answered. You weren't sure if this was the one or not, but at this point you couldn't afford to be picky.

Chapter 1: The Party of Hope and the Hangover of Despair. Day 2
DING DONG BING BONG.
“It’s now 8AM, you bastards! Get up, and go eat!” Masaru demanded.
“Get ready for a good day of killing,” Monaca smiled into the screen. “Monaca would like that very much,”
“You better do what Monaca says or, or… oh wait doing what Monaca says isn’t official rule,” Kotoko pouted. “Still, you should do it anyway!”
Kaede was still sore from the Death Road of Despair when she woke up, still remembering her time crawling in pain within that tunnel.
It’s not your fault, she tried to convince herself of that, but whenever she tried to convince herself she believed it less and less.
Maybe eating breakfast will help clear my head. Kaede knew it wouldn’t work, but maybe it’d distract her for a few minutes.
With that she walked through the courtyard and-
“Hiyah Kaede!” The Pianist turned around to see a certain cheerful Artist standing behind her.
“Oh, hey Angie,” Kaede said with a bit less enthusiasm than usual. “You alright?”
“Nyahahaha, why wouldn’t I be alright? Are you still thinkin’ about yesterday?” Angie turned her head. “Thinkin’ about the past won’t do ya any good, all the agony I was in from yesterday’s practically gone,”
She’s cheerful, but something about the way she said it makes me feel like she isn’t telling the truth.
“Well, I guess that makes me feel better… a little,” Kaede mumbled.
“Fantastic! I shall see you at the dining hall, Bye-onara!” Angie scampered off into the school building.
Kaede stood there for a moment, letting the sun hit her skin. She then sighed and headed into the building.
She walked through the halls, encountering basically no one until-
“Kaede!” The Pianist smiled as she heard the familiar voice of Tsumugi calling out to her, the cosplayer had been one of the few people to stay with her after yesterday’s incident; she knew she could trust her.
“Yeah Mugi?” Kaede smiled widely as she turned around to see the girl, who was slightly blushing for whatever reason.
“Well uhh… I know it sounds kinda plain, but d-do you wanna paint each other’s nails sometime?”
“Are you kidding? Of course, that sounds like so much fun!” Kaede beamed at her friend, her eyes sparkling like stars. “I’ve never actually had my nails painted before, I was always afraid of getting some on the piano,”
“That’s great!” Tsumugi looked relieved like she thought Kaede would reject her or something.
What a silly thought.
Kaede nodded. “When do you wanna do it? I’m kinda heading off to breakfast right now,”
“Right, is just after breakfast okay?” Tsumugi asked. “I don’t wanna be a bother if you have any other plans today,”
“Don’t call yourself a bother, Mugi,” Kaede pouted, before her expression went back to her usual soft smile. “And yeah, just after breakfast is fine; take me to your super secret nail painting spot once breakfast is done!”
“Alright, yeah, yeah let’s go!” The excitement in Tsumugi’s voice was palpable. She and Kaede ran to the Dining Hall as quick as possible.
Everyone else was already in the room, all instantly turned to look at Kaede as she entered.
“There you are!” Kaito smiled. “Thought I was gonna hafta drag you two outta bed!”
“I slept like a rock last night, so that plainly wouldn’t have worked,” Tsumugi chuckled.
“I probably would’ve hit you, or something,” Kaede chuckled too.
“Heh, sure you woulda. Now that we’re all here let’s-”
“Let’s discuss how absolutely disappointing you all were yesterday!” Kokichi butted in, a look of frustration clear on his childlike face. “Like seriously, blaming Kaede for your own hopelessness? It’s sooooo pathetic,”
“The hell are you on about, Kokichi?” Kaito looked at the boy angrily. “You blamed Kaede first, you’re the one who started that shit,”
“N-No I didn’t, I never wanted to have everyone blame Kaede for everything!” Kokichi declared. “I just wanted to go to bed!”
“Is that a lie, Kokichi?” Shuichi raised an eyebrow.
Kokichi laughed. “Yeah, I totally wanted to make everyone hate Kaede,”
“Quit screwin’ around, Kokichi,” Kaito angrily.
“Screwing around? I’m not screwing around!” Kokichi smiled. “Everyone else was screwing around yesterday, being all ‘why would Kaede do this to us?’ when they went in the hole on their own volition,”
“That’s… actually a decent point,” Kaito mumbled. “But wait, I thought you were trying to-”
“Yeah, that was a lie,” Kokichi chuckled. “But everything else wasn’t,”
“Kokichi, shut up,” Maki stared at the boy threateningly.
The liar started sweating profusely. “W-Well okay, there’s n-no need to be mean…”
Maki ignored him, even as he started to (probably) fake cry. “I was only angry at Kaede for getting my hopes up, I can’t speak for the rest of the people here, though,”
Kaede looked downwards in shame.
Angie noticed the Pianist’s shame, and, with a smile began to speak up. “Let’s try to forget yesterday, okay?”
“Yeah, Kaede had great intentions!” Tenko cheered.
“Me and Tenko’s wounds were pretty quickly healed by my magic anyways…” Himiko mumbled. “So it’s fine,”
“That’s true, that’s true!” Tenko shouted with that distinct lack of an inside voice. “She did her sleep healing spell and we both felt better in the morning!”
“I uh… think that’s just sleeping,” Shuichi said.
Himiko puffed out her cheeks. “No, it’s magic,”
“Yeah, didn’t you hear her, it’s magic!” Tenko looked at Shuichi, pissed at the idea that he’d even think about denying Himiko’s magic.
“A-Ah, sorry!”
“Shuichi…” Kaede scolded as she looked up, putting her hand on the Detective’s shoulders.
“Overall, it’s no one’s fault!” Angie smiled. “Atua told me so, cuz he’s all seeing!”
“How convenient,” Tsumugi smiled. “I agree though, none of us here are at fault for yesterday,”
“Thanks guys,” Kaede scratched the back of her head. “I feel a little better now, I guess,”
“Nyahahaha, how divine!” Angie beamed. “You should pray with me, Kaede, pray for the good health of our group!”
“A-Ah no, sorry,” Kaede waved her hand to decline. “I’m not religious,”
“How unfortunate…” Angie’s smile was the same, but Kaede could sense the smallest hint of dissapointment. “Oh well,”
“Great, that’s settled then!” Kaito smiled widely.
“I suppose, still got a ways to go until I’m ready to go into that tunnel again,” Ryoma pulled his hat down slightly.
“That’s… fair,” Kaede chuckled uncomfortably. “We’re not gonna be going back in there any time soon anyway,”
“Don’t give up too easily, Kaede,” Kaito chastised. “One day, all of us are gonna be able to get through that thing, and when we do we’ll be as home free as we’ve ever been!”
Maki rolled her eyes. “I’m sure you think that, somehow, but we’re not gonna have anything that makes that tunnel any easier ever. So we might as well forget about it,”
“We need to consider every option still,” Kaede pouted. “Can’t get out of here if we ignore all of our options-”
“Options? There’s only one option when it comes to getting out of here!” Monokuma’s all too familiar giggle could be heard as he fell through the floor, directly into the cafeteria.
“Kyaaah!” Tsumugi screamed.
“Everyone, behind Gonta!”
“Ah… the bear of despair,” Korekiyo chuckled. “I wonder what he has to say?”
“Nothing good, probably something a degenerate hockey player says to his first girlfriend that makes her never trust a man again!” Tenko shouted.
“Gonta protect everyone from Monokuma!”
“The hell do you want?” Kaito gritted his teeth at the bear.
“Puhuhu, well; I’ve decided to make your only option for escape just a touch easier to stomach!” Monokuma smiled.
“Whatever it is, we aren’t going along with it! We’ve told you this,” Kaede stared the animatronic down.
“I wouldn’t be so sure, cause this here First Blood Perk might make you change your mind!”
The Bear’s red eye began to glow brightly, the students went silent as they saw the swirling despair held within. “For this first kill, and this first kill only; you will be allowed to leave the academy no strings attached: No class trial, no investigation, no nothin!”
“Aww, but the trial seemed so fun!” Kokichi smiled, earning glares from most of his classmates.
“I’m sorry if I made the class trials seem more important than they actually are, really your time at this school is all about how well you can kill each other!” Monokuma laughed gleefully. “When one of you inevitably takes advantage of this perk, just raise your hand and BOOM! You’ll be out of here in a jiffy!”
Kaito gritted his teeth harder as he stared down the bear. “Y’know what? I’m sick of this shit, Monokuma,”
“Puhuhu? What do you mean? I’m a robot, I can’t shit!”
“Shut up! I’m gonna deal with you once n’ for all!”
Just as Kaito said that, all five Exisals dropped from the roof and surrounded him.
“HAHA!” Masaru laughed ear piercingly loud. “Didja forget that we have these TOTALLY AWESOME Exisals to crush you?”
“Monaca thinks he forgot,” The woman in the green exisal chuckled. “Monaca thinks we should punish him for his forgetfulness,”
“Wh-What?”
“As your leader, I demand that we crush this here student!”
Kaito looked pale, dripping with sweat as the red Exisal stepped towards him, but as it took the first step-
“EEAGHHHHHHHHHH!”
BOOM
Monokuma exploded, crushed under the weight of the red painted behemoth.
“Wh-Wha…?” Jataro mumbled.
“Masaru, did you… did you just kill Monokuma?” Nagisa’s concern was evident in his normally stiff voice.
“I uhh… OH CRAP I KILLED THE HEADMASTER!!” Masaru screamed. “OH CRAP OH CRAP OH CRAAAAAAAAAAP!”
Kotoko was sniffling from within her Exsial. “Why do the adorbs die so young? Waaaaaaaaaaah!”
“W-We gotta go, now!” Nagisa shouted, panic evident in his voice. On his order all of the Exisals jumped through the roof and back to… wherever they came from.
“M-Monokuma’s dead?” Kaito looked down at the crushed remains of the bear, a smile quickly forming on his face. “Hell yeah, I beat Monokuma!”
“You didn’t beat it, that weird guy accidentally killed it,” Maki corrected.
“He’s dead either way!” Kaito chuckled.
“That’s a relief, heh,” Rantaro chuckled too. “I guess that means the Killing Game is… as good as over,” The man shrugged.
“R-Really?” Shuichi asked, looking excitedly at the green haired man.
“No host, not killing game,” Rantaro smiled. “We should be as good as gold,”
“Nyahaha, how divine! I shall thank Atua for slaying our sworn enemy!”
“This totally calls for a celebration, Himiko let’s goooooooo!” Tenko shouted as she once again grabbed Himiko by the arm and dragged her out of the cafeteria.
“Nyehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…”
“Welp, Monokuma’s dead,” Kokichi shrugged. “Kind of an anticlimactic ending to this Killing Game, but it’s fine…” Kokichi left the room.
Why did he say that like he’s upset the Killing Game ended? What a weird kid.
The rest of the group slowly dispersed out of the Dining Hall, including Kaede and Tsumugi as the latter led the former out of the room by her wrist, stopping just outside of the Dining Hall.
“So, where do you wanna go, Mugi?” Kaede smiled softly at her friend, shaking a little from the excitement.
“You seem pretty excited,” Tsumugi smiled. “It’s just nail painting, it’s nothing special,”
“You kidding me? I’ve never had my nails done!” Kaede grabbed onto Tsumugi’s… surprisingly clammy hands from excitement, Kaede ignored it for now as Tsumugi stumbled out a response.
“O-Oh, I guess th-that makes sense,” The blushing cosplayer chuckled uncomfortably. “L-Let’s just go to the Game Room I-I guess,”
Kaede beamed. “Alright, lead the way, Mugi!”
And Tsumugi did just that, humming a sweet tune as she lead her friend down to the basement.
“You have a really pretty singing voice,”
“Th-Thanks… but it’s nothing special,”
“Oh, shush,” Kaede sighed out of her nose. “I’m a musician, I know what good sounds like; my hearing is really good!”
“Really?” Tsumugi turned around as they reached the door to the game room.
“Yeah! I can hear Shuichi mumbling to himself in the Library,”
“Interesting…” Tsumugi looked lost in thought for a minute. “Oh, right! Nail art!”
“Yeah, c’mon, let’s go. This is gonna be so much fun!”
The two quickly sat down on the carpeted floor of the Game Room. Kaede giggling like a schoolgirl (she was one, but that’s besides the point) as she held out her hands in front of Tsumugi who had already pulled out the pink nail polish.
“I’m glad you’re excited, but please hold still,” Tsumugi said.
“Oh, sorry hehe,” Kaede chuckled as she did her best not to shake in excitement as the cosplayer began to paint her nails with an insane focus, staring right down at them like this was the most important thing in her life.
After awhile, it was done. Kaede’s nails were so pretty, so pink, so beautiful.
“So, how do you-”
“Oh my god I love it so much!” Kaede beamed as she practically pounced on Tsumugi, who began to furiously blush as she was glomped by her crush friend.
“You’re seriously the best,” Kaede smiled at Tsumugi as she exited the hug.
“W-Well, it’s really nothing uh…” Tsumugi mumbled. “I-I’m glad you like it!”
“Like it? I love it!”
Suddenly the door opened, and in stepped the green haired man of mystery: Rantaro Amami.
“Hey, what are you two up to?” The man playfully smirked as he entered the room.
“Oh, Tsumugi’s just doing my nails! Look at how pretty they are!” Kaede showed Rantaro her nails. While it was a basic pink to him and Tsumugi, to Kaede it was the absolute coolest thing anyone had ever done ever.
“Oh, sounds fun. I actually know a thing or two about painting nails myself,” Rantaro chuckled.
“Like for a girlfriend or something?” Kaede turned her head curiously as Rantaro crouched down to be at her level, Kaede didn’t notice the look of jealousy in Tsumugi’s eyes, she also somehow didn’t notice the brief wink he gave the cosplayer.
“No, nothin’ like that, I grew up with plenty of sisters, so I kinda had to learn it, heh,”
“Oh, you must be the best big brother ever then!” Rantaro looked down for a moment before looking back up at the smiling Pianist.
“I guess you can say that, you want me to paint your nails?”
“Of course!”
“H-Hey, I’m not done with your other hand!” Tsumugi interjected.
A huge smile formed on Kaede’s face as her gaze shifted between the two people. “Guuuuys, you should both totally paint my nails, it’d be so fun!”
Tsumugi and Rantaro briefly looked at eachother with a huge smirk on each of their faces, then went completely blankfaced as they focused exclusively on painting their respective hand of the giddily shaking Kaede’s nails.
The Pianist let out soft, ticklish giggles as the two continued their work.
“I’m done,” Rantaro declared as he left Kaede’s left hand with a lovely pink and purple french slant pattern.
“Me too, me too!” Tsumugi declared more urgently as she finished painting Kaede’s right hand with a pink gradient.
“Oh my God, this is so good!” Kaede squealed. “Rantaro, you should totally be the Ultimate Nail Artist or something!”
Tsumugi pouted as Rantaro waved his hands calmly. “It’s nothing special, Kaede, it’s a pretty basic french slant,”
“Nothing special? This is the prettiest my nails have ever been!”
Tsumugi pouted harder.
“And Tsumugi, oh my god this gradient is so cute!” Kaede squeeled as she pulled Tsumugi into another hug, the Cosplayer once again went back to blushing up a storm. Rantaro winked at the woman before standing up.
“Welp, I should get going, got a whole day of celebrating Monokuma being dead to get to,” Rantaro chuckled as he left the room.
“Bye Rantaro!” Kaede ended the hug to wave goodbye to the man.
“Baii…” Tsumugi said.
Kaede smiled at the door before turning back to Tsumugi, the two women quickly got back to their feet.
“What was really fun Tsumugi!”
“Heh, thanks,” Tsumugi scratched the back of her neck in embarassment. “We should uh… we should do something like this again sometime!”
“Of course! Oooo, what if I played piano for you or something when my Lab finally opens?”
“You’d do that for me?”
“Of course, you’re my friend, Tsumugi!” Kaede smiled as the woman looked wistfully to her side.
“Yeah, friend…” She quickly smiled back at Kaede.
“Well, I should be going now, see ya Tsu-”
Creeeeak
“K-Kaede, I need to show you something,” Shuichi said as he opened the door.
“Oh? What is it?” Kaede turned her head in curiousity.
“Yeah, I’m plain curious too,”
“It’s in the library, both of you follow me,” Shuichi said as she lead the two girls to the Library.
The Library was still as musty and disorganised as ever, the piles of books on the floor had to have triggered something in someone to make them clean it up!
Maybe I could get Kirumi to- no, bad Kaede, don’t overwork your friend!
Tsumugi coughed as she entered the library. “Jeez, this place is dusty, did you take us here to clean it or something?”
“I wouldn’t be opposed to that,” Kaede shrugged.
Shuichi chuckled a little. “Ah, no, I came to show you this,” Shuichi tapped on a bookcase in the middle of the far end of the library.
The thing swung open slowly, revealing a door with a white and black half and half pattern, just like-
“Monokuma!” Kaede exclaimed. “That door looks like Monokuma!”
“That’s right, I don’t know why this is here, or why this is hidden, but…” Shuichi looked lost in thought for a moment. “I think it might be for whoever set up this Killing Game,”
“That’s plain possible,” Tsumugi added. “But would the Mastermind really be as obvious as to make a… Bradely-esque bookshelf door?”
“I think the mastermind banked on no one finding this,” Shuichi said. “So I’ve decided to lay a trap for them,”
“Really?” Kaede asked.
Shuichi motioned towards a card reader on the left side of the door. “Yeah, I placed dust in the card reader, if anyone uses a keycard to open this door all of this dust will come falling to the floor,”
“And then we’ll be able to know if anyone uses this door!” Kaede had a lightbulb moment. “That’s genius, Shuichi!”
“A-Ah, thanks Kaede,”
“Don’t mention it,” Kaede smiled. “You really are the Ultimate Detective, huh?”
“Well, this is some pretty basic deduction,”
“For you it is, but I would’ve never thought to check out this bookcase!”
“I agree with Kaede, someone as plain as me wouldn’t be smart enough to check,”
Kaede gave Tsumugi a sideyed pout at her self deprecation, but chose not to comment on it. “You’ve probably put us one step closer to getting out of here, Shuichi,”
“I-I guess I have,” Shuichi smiled as he lifted up his hat a little, Kaede got a better look at the man’s soft face.
“So, Shuichi, do you have any other plans involving this library?” Kaede asked, curiosity evident in both her and Tsumugi’s features.
“Not right now, no,” Shuichi shook his head. “The current plan is just to check this tomorrow,”
“Sounds great, we should all meet up here at about…” Kaede puffed out her cheeks as she thought. “How does just after breakfast sound?”
“That sounds pretty good!” Shuichi smiled.
“That just plain works!” Tsumugi smiled too.
Kaede giggled. “It’s a date then, we meet up here just after breakfast!”
The three agreed on their plan, then returned to their respective dorms.
DING DONG BING BONG.
The Warriors of Hope appeared on screen,
“Oh god oh crap oh god oh crap oh god oh crap…” Masaru mumbled in the corner, Kotoko was consoling him as Monaca was giving the poor guy somewhat threatening blank stare.
“Everyone, it’s 10 PM now, head to bed,” Nagisa said professionally, then the screen shut off.
“They aren’t taking Monokuma’s death as well as we are, huh?” Kaede chuckled before she plonked down onto her bed with a smile on her face.
Shuichi’s plan sounded great, there was obviously someone behind this Killing Game, all they needed was Shuichi’s plan as confirmation.
Kaede slept with an excited smile as tomorrow really was another day.

So, you come here to read my blogs, which are about 9Digi-Protagonists. It's clear, based on the name of my blog and the blog rules. But what exactly is the '9Digi-Protagonists'?
Well, let's talk about the context. I am talking about the Japanese sub.
When I say about the 'Digimon characters', it means all of the characters, main or side, good or bad, have appeared and will appear in all media branches of the Digimon franchise. When I say about the 'Main characters', it means all important characters whom the show is around.
'Protagonists' are the ones the show focuses on. They are (usually) the symbol of the show, and even when the audiences almost forget the show, they will remember them.
So, in conclusion, the '9Digi-Protagonists' are:
Yagami Taichi (14) and Agumon from Digimon Adventure (1999-2000)
Motomiya Daisuke (11) and V-mon from Digimon Adventure 02 (2000-2001)
Matsuda Takato (10) and Guilmon from Digimon Tamers (2001-2002)
Kanbara Takuya (11) and his Spirit (Agnimon/Vritramon) from Digimon Frontier (2002-2003)
Daimon Masaru (14) and Agumon from Digimon Savers (2006-2007)
Kudou Taiki (14) and Shoutmon from Digimon Xros Wars (2010-2011)
Akashi Tagiru (13) and Gumdramon from Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time (2011-2012)
Shinkai Haru (14) and Gatchmon from Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters (2016-2017)
Amanokawa Hiro (13) and Gammamon from Digimon Ghost Game (2021-2023)
Some of you may have the following questions, and I will answer:
Why is Yagami Taichi from Digimon Adventure: (or, as you may know, 'the reboot of the original') not listed here? Reboot Taichi and Original Taichi may have the same name and appearance, but they are very different. I respect Reboot Taichi as a character. However, I… have mixed feelings about the reboot generally. Not that I hate it, but… By the way, I think it's better to not include him in the group. Although the shenanigans when we have two Taichi in the room are very fun… You can still ask me about him, of course!
Why do you include such annoyed/flat characters? I can't imagine how you can make interesting interactions by including them! In my opinion, there are no bad characters, only bad writing and bad interpretation. Characters' developments exist after all. And I think all Digimon characters have been written very well! It's just that Adventure (and especially 02, remove tri) have a specific, implicit, signature way of writing characters' personalities and developments. And Tamers has a special general way of writing (actually, not because it's dark). But not because other series don't have that way of writing characters that their characters have bad writing. You can see a lot of characters over there have really bad ways of writing. So, no, I think all the characters I have chosen above are very suitable.
Why is the Japanese sub? I think the sub and the dub are the same, right? Uh… It's a truth that no matter how good your dubbing is, there will always be differences. Japanese culture has very unique differences. We cannot add a long note about those differences in the show; that is obvious. And although Digimon's dubbing is very good compared to other dubs, I just want to respect the original one. So we come to the conclusion that the sub and the dub are very different. The main reason, after the fact that some people don't know about this large gap, is that not many people rewatch another version of what they have seen. That is absolutely beyond blame. And to avoid bias or discrimination, we are talking about the previous American dub. Modern dubs or non-related-to-American dubs are usually closer to the original.
If you have any other questions, please ask me!

post talking about the ending of live a live. dont wanna put that much effort into formatting (carpal tunnel my beloathed) but this is for the scene post sin of odio fight. long post under the cut. may or may not format another day.
gonna preface this by saying even though oersted blames himself for *all* of what happened, i don't think he's fully correct in that assumption. hindsight is a bitch to deal with. you see things you couldn't have noticed in the moment.
i feel the different protagonists all had good points, even akira. though he was pretty harsh with it, he did have a point somewhat. i'll discuss that in a later paragraph.
going in reverse chronological order here, so starting with cube: despite not saying anything, cube's actions can speak on their own. cube may not have gone through the exact same things oersted did, yet they can still show compassion. and it's implied that even if cube didn't go through anything bad in their chapter, they can still sympathize. you, too, can still sympathize or show compassion, even if you haven't gone through trauma yourself.
akira's message isn't "oersted can only blame himself for everything." though his anger likely gave that impression to some. rather, it's that only you can decide your own actions. and others can decide theirs. it's impossible to truly control another's actions. straybow couldn't control oersted, he couldn't force oersted into committing regicide, or becoming the king of demons.
you cannot force another to take a particular action. and i think straybow tried controlling oersted too, not just alicia.
there's caveats to this, mind you. having a choice doesn't mean much if your options are limited. i still believe oersted didn't see any other options between "live completely isolated from the rest of humanity" "turn self in and get executed, likely in a brutal manner", or "shit guess i'll be the demon". who knows, maybe the minister was serious when offering the throne to oersted. but if oersted took that offer, then the message of the game would fall on it's face.
have i mentioned i'm applying these as real life lessons, yet?
because i am.
i think people are drawn to certain fiction for a reason. a lot of it can teach you important lessons for your life. it's usually not as obvious as a character directly telling you "accept others, kids!" but just because it's not directly shoved into your face, doesn't mean it's not there.
regardless, moving to masaru. he talks about ambition, here. it doesn't have to mean muscle strength for everyone. rather, it could mean physical skills. it doesn't matter how good at something you become, whether it's wrestling, or acrobatics, or modeling, or drawing. it will mean nothing if you surrender your identity to it.
i think oersted lost his sense of self during his chapter. existing purely for other's validation, or having your identity depend on other's perceptions of you is a miserable feeling. i've been there. so i've firsthand experience of how relieving it feels to become yourself again.
part two is [here!]

yippie okay then ill explain nyxs lore (this will be long :3) (im taking nyxs parents explanation from the coming soon nyx relationship list they know) (also this contains spoilers from udg)
TW ;; EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL ABUSE ,, NEGLECT ,, PEDOPHILIA ,, MANIPULATION / TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ,, SLIGHT GORY DEATH ,, MENTION OF ALMOST DROWNING (please ignore if uncomfortable)
CHARACTERS/SELFINSERT USED ;; NYX (self insert) ,, MONACA TOWA ,, KOTOKO UTSUGI ,, NAGISA SHINGETSU ,, JATARO KEMURI ,, MASARU DAIMON ,, KOMARU NAEGI ,, TOKO FUKAWA ,, SERVANT / NAGITO KOMAEDA
before we get to the actual lore, i will explain their family and the reason for some of their traits. (parents explanation copy pasted from nyx relationship list):
!! NYX'S FAMILY !!
nyx's father - TW PEDOPHILIA AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE: nyx's father keeps switching between a loving and caring father to someone with severe angry issues and an extremely mean person. other times, nyx's father implies to romantically like nyx. nyx thinks themself as wothless and useless, due to the fact their dad forced them to follow his orders and to please him, making nyx feel like theyre in the wrong one for feeling negative. one time, they cried infront of everyone as a kid for being forced to run and their legs hurt, their father only cares about how people looked at them weirdly. as a result, nyx has an incredibly low image/self esteem of themself, and them being easily attached to people who show the least amount of care for them. nyx copes from this by using humor and repressing their feelings. ( though, they break down easily. ) nyx doesnt know what to feel about their father, due to their fathers extreme mood swings but they know that in any way, there will always be a side where they hate him. theyre traumatized on how brutal the Warriors of Hope killed their parents, but slightly grateful for it.
nyx's mother - TW NEGLECT OF EMOTIONAL/MENTAL NEEDS: nyx's mother is a self-centered person who works in a cosmetic company. she usually uses nyx as the model for her make-up company, even if nyx insisted that they dont feel comfortable being a model. nyx's mother multiple times force nyx to do her wishes, prioritizing her needs over theirs without permission from nyx themself. nyx's mother forces nyx to go out often. and everytime nyx tries to refuse, she will try to make up an excuse on why they have to go or try to guilttrip nyx by telling them that theyre so 'selfish' for not fulfilling her needs. nyx's mother often blames others over her own mess, making her a person who thinks that she is always right. nyx hates her, and is extremely uncomfortable by her. even if they were traumatized of how brutal the WoH killed their parents, but theyre slightly grateful for it.
nyx's brother: the only one in the family that nyx actually trusts. nyx's brother is a 3rd year highschooler who is pretty strict towards nyx and obedient towards their parents, nyx's brother actually took care of nyx unlike their parents. nyx is grateful for him. they're traumatized on how brutal the WoH killed their brother, and doesnt really forgive them for killing the only one that cared about them at the moment.
!! TRAITS !!
- nyx is pretty self centered and is excessively interested in themself, due to the fact that they never really had anyone to talk to friendly in their elementary to middle school times. this leads to them being seen staring at mirrors and talking to themself a lot. they also talk a lot about themself and their interests to the people they really trust or people who are interested in them.
- nyx is easily attached to the people who show the least amount of care towards them, due to the fact they never really got much attention from the people around them. they will cling to people and try to start talking to them, but most of the time the other person started it, because nyx is awfully socially awkward.
- nyx has a severe abandonment issues, since WoH taken nyx as their second servant. this is because they have experienced their parents threaten to leave them if they disobey. monaca gains from this so nyx doesnt try to betray her.
okay, were gonna go to the actual lore now
- nyx in pre-udg was a student from the Hope's Peak middle school, taking from reverse course. they werent accepted through the Ultimates Hope's Peak academy due to the fact all of their talents were taken by other ultimates, leading them to end up in the reverse course.
- nyx and their brother was dragged into their parents bedrooms. they were both pretty annoyed by it, but obeyed anyway. when nyx was drawing and doodling, a... child? the pink haired child broke in and killed their parents and brother by slitting their head off, nyx was frightened as they back away from the pink haired girl, expecting for her to kill them.
- but, for some reason, when the pink haired child turn their head to look at nyx, her eyes sparkled. she ran to nyx and took their hands into hers. nyx was confused, but abides anyway.
- the girl introduced herself as Kotoko Utsugi, and in the next second, kotoko found nyx cute! so she... recruited them to be a part of warriors of hope? at first, nyx declines by shaking their head 'no' profusely, but uh... they ended up being the second servant for monaca.
- due to being with warriors of hope, they started to believe that adults are all bad, before they met nagito. at first, nyx was hestitant that theyll serve monaca with him, but ends up opening up to him later in UDG.
- since nyx cant really fight, nyx is a servant to serve the Warriors of Hope in terms of food, drinks, etc etc
- for some silly moments, kotoko almost drowned nyx <3
- nyx in the end of UDG, ends up running away from monaca. they passed out in the way, but nagito took care of them in the end.
thank u for coming to my ted talk if u have any questions feel free to ask
Damn, the family gives me Glass Castle flashbacks…
I honestly want to adopt Nyx now (and their brother-)
I am kinda curious on how they survived the reserve course brainwashing and the tragedy itself before Kotoko came in the picture
How the hell did Kotoko almost drown Nyx-
With the Nyx’s backstory similarities with the warriors of hope, I hope they rescued them after Monaca was taken down
I just want them to heal together 😭
Does Nyx ever meet Toko and Komaru? And in the end, is she saved by Future foundation (like after they capture Nagito to put him in the Neo program)
How do they meet Teruya? Are they connected to class 79?
Sorry if any of my questions or comments bother you, thank you for sharing!

Masaru nodded in silence as she explained her situation. It would have been rude to interrupt her, and whatever thoughts he had about things could be safely kept to himself, for the most part. "Family pressures, huh? That's tricky." He nodded, though he imagined there was a big difference between her situation and his own. "I tend to think that most things aren't impossible, but, sometimes the consequences just aren't worth the hassle." Surely she'd had enough people telling her what to do, that adding a stranger's dissenting voice would only add to the noise.
"Well, I'm sure you're a lot more than your talent, Nevermind-san," Masaru murmured. "But I get it. Family obligations like that are rough." Quietly, his tongue clicked against the inside of his mouth. "I actually come from a family of some minor status, and walking away from that, even if it was the right call for me, wasn't without its issues, or things I had to give up." A baseball field... Some distant affection settled on his face as he watched. When was the last time he'd been to a baseball game, Masaru wondered? Maybe with Haruna, and the boys - taking the bus over to see the Swallows on a summer afternoon, and eating shaved ice afterwards to cut the heat. He'd probably never do that again, huh?
"Why are you acting so gloomy, Haru-nee," Anzu grumbled. "You were all cheery when you were bugging Sonia-san earlier, so what's the difference now?" Her sister was really cramping her style, as they wandered around inside the main campus building after grabbing a bite to eat. "I'm not gloomy," Haruna muttered with a roll of her eyes, "just disappointed." She gave a soft sigh, adjusting the ribbon on her blouse. "I heard from someone who heard from someone that Masaru-kun was coming, that's all, but I didn't see a nametag for him, and it looks like he's not around."
She said it so casually. Was she stupid? Well, of course she was stupid, Anzu thought, but not usually 'stop her sister in her tracks' stupid. "What." That couldn't be right. No way, no way, not here, not now. "Masaru-nii?" "Yeah," Haruna replied with a nod. "But, I guess he decided not to come. It makes sense. I can't really blame him. I guess." Anzu barely waited for her to finish her sentence before grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "Why didn't you say something to me!? If there was any chance at all he was going to be here, don't you think I should know that!?"
Haruna frowned, looking up at her younger sister. "Why do you care? I could have brought him to come see you after we caught up, and since he's not here, it doesn't m-" Frustrated, Anzu let go with a forceful shove. "I have to go make sure for myself, I have to go find Shinobu-chan before she does something crazy. Dammit, you only ever think of yourself, don't you?" At that, she turned and sprinted off, nearly stumbling as she raced down the hallway.
After turning back to Sonia from the baseball field, Masaru was about to give his name when he heard the sound of a metal bat making contact with a ball, and the whirring sound through the air. His reflexes were lightning quick, sticking out his bare hand and catching the baseball speeding towards them before it could collide with Sonia's face, with only a small wince to show for it. "Great hit," he praised as he tossed the ball back over the fence, then looked to Sonia. "Are you okay, Nevermind-san?" The baseball hadn't hit her, but he still wanted to make sure she wasn't shaken up.
Once he'd confirmed that she wasn't hurt, Masaru nodded with a small smile, lightly shaking his stinging hand. "I'm going to go get some ice, or at least something cold from a vending machine. I'll be back in just a minute." With a light bow in recognition of the trouble, he jogged off away from the field, and around towards the backside of the school, on an empty part of the path clearly not meant for any alumni activities. There probably weren't any vending machines there - at least, there hadn't been when he was a student - but there were other reasons to put some distance between Sonia and himself, reasons that had only become apparent once they'd stopped walking.
"Okay," he started, eyes flicking back and forth, looking for the sight of the person who'd been following them. "I'm by myself now. That's what you were waiting for, ri-" An arrow roared through the air, fast enough that Masaru only had a moment to jerk back to keep it from spearing through his chest. Instead, the arrow cratered into the ground right in front of him, shooting rock and gravel up from the ground and scattering dust. Whoa, he thought. Still, he barely had a moment to think as a volley of arrows flew towards him. More aware, this time, he ducked and weaved, intimately familiar with aspect of an arrow's flight, even managing to snatch one inches from his face, though the force of the projectile burned the skin on his palm. Looking up, Masaru was dumbfounded by who he saw. "What the hell..."
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Shinobu was losing her mind. How many years had it been since she'd made up her mind to kill Masaru? It had always been in the back of her mind - a hateful rot, festering each time she stepped into the dojo. She'd had so many plans after graduation, and yet here he was, just standing at Hope's Peak Academy like it was nothing. She'd never get another chance like this. He'd stolen her life, he'd stolen her future, and now he was even trying to steal Sonia. Now that he was alone, they no longer had to wait, unwilling as they were to try anything if there was even the smallest possibility that Sonia might be hurt.
And yet, even thoughts about Sonia were washing out in red rage. Masaru needed to die, right here. It was fitting, wasn't it? Right here, at the school she was only a student of because of his cowardice, with the skills she'd learned only due to his failures. He'd avoided her first arrow and dodged the following volley, but who cared about that? They'd kill him with their bare hands if they had to, ripping and tearing and choking and punching and scratching and slamming and striking and ripping and tearing and ripping and tearing and ripping and tearing and ripping and-
"〇...〇〇?" Why was he looking at her with that stupid expression? It just made Shinobu angrier. "Shut up!" Shinobu knew she was an archer, first and foremost. She was tall, and athletic, but she wasn't a hand-to-hand fighter, outside of beating up men who came looking for her, hopped up on jealousy and impotent anger. Still, if her arrows weren't going to work, then what option did she have? Closing the distance, she grabbed at the side of her brother's face, rearing back and taking advantage of his momentary confusion to slam his head into the school building, until blood dripped down from his forehead to cover part of his face. "Don't ever say that name again!"
Somewhere between the third and fourth slam, Masaru managed to wriggle out of her grasp and scamper back. Running away, just like always. He didn't even have the decency to let her kill him. "You're mad," he muttered, wiping blood from his face and flicking it onto the ground. "Okay. I don't know why, but, you're mad. That's fine - I would have liked to see you again under different circumstances, but it's fine. I'm not going to fight you, 〇〇, so-" "Then shut up and die! Stop talking like you know me, or like you understand anything, and just die!" Again, she tried to assault him with a flurry of punches, kicks, and grapples, though it seemed like Masaru had the edge in dodging or deflecting her, once he'd focused.
Etiquette was up for interpretation. Of course, there were the steadfasts in table manners and addressing people by their proper titles: but pressing her for her attention fell into the grey area of what was appropriate. Especially when it came to men of means and some amount of self-importance. "I appreciate the assistance, regardless if I must be accustomed to it as a part of life," She replied sincerely as he led her away.
He chose well, Sonia thought as she offered him a smile: barring allergies, being outdoors was much more pleasant. It would soon become beastly hot and humid, making any time spent out of doors in Japan not near a body of water to seek relief in to be a very uncomfortable experience. "Then we will remain outdoors," She agreed, leading him to the displays set up in the courtyard. Offering a small wave to Gundham in the process, as he was showing how Grizner the bear took instruction from him while a tiger lingered nearby in a cage with three cubs, giving the attendees both curiosity and apprehension each time the mother bared her teeth. She knew he must be furious, putting his beasts on display, but Sonia wondered if he took some comfort in letting the animals remind the visitors who was in charge.
With her best friend having his hands full and her presence providing little help with the situation, she turned her attention back to the alumnus who had rescued her from the welcome table. "Not strange, exactly," She remarked with a tilt of her head. "Just foreign, or impossible, for me to fathom, at least for myself. But I can understand where the pressure of solely existing for one's skill, one's talent, could be too much for a person to bear." Something she grappled with the moment she woke up every morning, though she was never permitted to show it.
He hadn't been asked to contribute to his class' display, which was more odd to Sonia than not using his own talent anymore. Had it been a terribly objectionable one, the way Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu's was? Or her own? Perhaps no matter his skill, it simply gave the school bad press and therefore it was safer for everyone to pretend, for a little while or permanently, that his talent didn't exist. Still, she couldn't outright ask.
"The school still operates that way, I am afraid to say," She confirmed for him with an apologetic look. "If you want to be known beyond your talent, it is something you generally have to work for. But playing piano and bartending! That sounds wonderful, you must make so many people happy with music and drinks. I cannot imagine leaving my talent behind, even for something so exciting. I'd never hear the end of it and cutting my family off, well, that is impossible."
She paused once they'd reached one the sports fields, where Leon Kuwata was hitting various baseballs for spectators and looking particularly bored with it. "Ah, I should explain, as I have been rude in not introducing myself," Sonia sighed, accompanied with a small, regretful nod. "My name is Sonia Nevermind, but around here it is common to refer to me as the 'Ultimate Princess,' though I do not much care to be known solely by my talent. I was born into it you see, and will remain as such until I am crowned queen or die, whichever comes first." Another pause, as she remembered this man was a stranger and wasn't accustomed to her proclivity for the occult and supernatural. "That is not too morbid, is it? It is just simply the matter of things: I have an entire nation depending on me, and right now they depend on me to be the Ultimate Princess of Hope's Peak Academy."
#c; the sun-slaying arrow#c; the heroine of a thousand faces#morethanaprincess#a long one to fit all the perspectives in#but Sonia only needs respond to what she sees#I figure she might eventually follow after Masaru#either due to realizing that he's gone in the wrong direction if he's looking for ice or a vending machine#or because she hears the sounds of Unspeakable Violence

Eleven Method
i recently rewatched stranger things from season 1 to season 4 and took note of how el went to the void…and kinda made my own spin on it and found that the method actually worked for me..lmao and no you are not going to drown yourself in saltwater haha ok
1-as always you can prepare
if you want feel free to do any type of meditation/and or listen to asmr to relax you (optional)
2.the water placebo…(this is where your self concept/manifestation skills come in)
quick backstory i discovered the law march 31st of 2021 it met me when my life was the lowest of lows so when i find out i can change it just by flipping my mindset and putting my entire faith in a method or two i thought oh well..have nothing to lose now..as i continued to do research on the law it reminded me of a memory/practice taught to me by my dad growing up that till this day i still practice and stand by with full faith..my dad handed me and water bottle peeled of the paper and told me that that water carrie’s energy..be careful what you speak while holding a cup of water because “it hears you” sounds a bit creepy? well he actually isn’t entirely wrong..there was a experiment that a doctor by the name of Dr.Emto did speaking negatively-to positively over a bowl of water and took pictures as to how the following affirmations effected the the crystals within the water..i’ll link and article but please research more on this topic because it is very interesting (search “talking over water experiment”) anyways i had realized that i have been manifesting like this for years..ever since i was 10 years old my dad always told me..make a wish upon your water..be grateful for every drop of water you come across your life because it can “feel and hear” ..once i became re aware of this last year i began to consciously manifest with water and BOIIIIII can i tell you water is such a powerful method to bring on desires (i’m selective with when calling a method powerful because at the end of the day it starts with our minds not the method but you know what i mean) so how can i apply this to the void.. i took a bottle of water and spoke void concept/void affirmations over it such as “i always wake up in the void” “entering the void is as easy as sleeping” “i always wake up with all my desires” “my body prefers waking up in the void every morning” etc…say it like you mean it now proceed to drink all of the water knowing for sure in the back of your mind all these affirmations are true…think of it as you are now getting your “super powers” of easily being able to command your state of consciousness in and out of the void LMFAOOO this sounds silly but trust me
3.You are now going to block as many as your senses as possible..smell..taste..touch…hear..see
uhhhh realistically we aren’t in labs and chances are you don’t feel safe entering the void in a bathtub and quite frankly i don’t blame you nor do i recommend (so please don’t lol) buttttt what i did was i put on these noise canceling headphones and a blindfold and to be honest that was more than enough to quite down my brain
4.Decide if you are going to wake up..or “go” into the void state
my first attempt i went into the void state 2nd i fell asleep and woke up in the void state (from a nap i haven’t tried overnight yet)
5.Going in?? read on
with your ears and eyes blocked (i used one of those sleeping mask things) i layed down on my bed and calmed myself down by breathing by for maybe a minute or two as i was doing so i began to imagine myself floating (el usually used her void to communicate/find/see peoples memories/spy so instead of doing so i imagined parts of my dream life/and or appearance/ and or the specific things i wanted to manifest in this void..for an example.. let’s say i was manifesting having clear skin i would imagine myself in first person walking towards the version of my self with clear skin or if i was manifesting a acceptance letter from a specific school i would imagine walking towards the letter and picking it up in the void..makes sense??? i hope so ..after doing breathing and visualizing for about 2 minutes.
..i didn’t even affirm for a long time..i literally just commanded that i was in the void one time and instantly couldn’t feel my body the blindfold on my eyes face nothing…i quickly affirmed for my desires and boom was out of there
6.Waking up?? Read on
don’t go to bed with noise canceling headphones i believe that isn’t safe but yeah feel free to wear the blindfold..but this is pretty self explanatory i just woke up in the void..at first it felt like a dream for a minute until i fully realized i was there but i quickly affirmed for my desire this time it was free front row tickets to see one of my favorite artist at the wireless festival and money so i can pay for the plane tickets and boom i had it once fully woken up
i really hope i explained everything in a way everyone understands and seriously do your research on that water experiment it’s actually quite interesting.
it’s all about intent and faith..as you go about this entire process remember your intention..going to the void..go live your life babes xx

I usually have no ideas for such things, but this time I'll give it a shot (let's see if i can make you cry lmao)
DFO; Izuku finds out about his father's "business" at the beginning of junior high
(Never came across such an au; but if it does exists, i will gladly familiarise myself with it)
1 - Izuku is the only one who worries about Tsubasa when he doesn't follow them to Aldera middle school. He asks Kacchan about him but he hasn't heard anything in a while. He tries to call him but his phone is disconnected. So he investigates until he fInds the noumu hangar and Tsubasa's new form. During this horrible excursion, he also learns that his father is responsible for all those horrors.
2 - Izuku calls the police, of course. The heroes have to do something. Unfortunately, this has horrible consequences as this is how he discovers that the villain who has turned Tsubasa in a monster is his father. His mom is arrested and taken into questioning. All of their assets of the "Midoriya" family are confiscated and the bank accounts are frozen. Inko is eventually released but she is left with nothing. Izuku and her would have been homeless if it wasn't for Masaru and Mitsuki helping them. Katsuki himself doesn't take Tsubasa's death well and takes it even worse that Deku was right to worry while he didn't even worry about him.
3 - There is nothing worse than being related to a villain and being powerless. People they have never seen attack them because AFO stole their quirks once. The police doesn't want to help. They are blamed no matter what.
4 - All Might and Gran Torino reach out. They offer Izuku and Inko new identities and a new life, out of the country.
5 - Inko eventually accepts and asks All Might if he knows a way to modify their memories.

meet the bakugous ⋆ pt. 4
⋆ pairing: katsuki bakugou x f!reader
⋆ wc: 500+
⋆ cw/an: mostly sfw?, a teensy weensy bit nsfw?, probably pg-13?, nc-17?, idfk, i'm stoked that so many of you seem to be enjoying this as much as i am 🧡
⋆ series navi: ← pt. 3 ⋆ pt. 4 ⋆ pt. 5 ->
About six months into your relationship, you and Katsuki went to visit his parents one weekend. The brief conversation about where you would sleep embarrassed him to no end. When you asked Mitsuki about it she said, “With Katsuki in his room, of course! Unless you don’t wanna smell him all night…I don’t blame you!”
“Ma! I fucking take showers!”
“You didn’t when you were ten! You fought your father and I tooth and nail and we had to smell your stinky little ass for days on end.” She stuck her tongue out at him and winked at you when you snickered.
He turned to you and yelled, “Whose side are you on anyway?”
Masaru, who had been grinning in amusement up to that point, abruptly wheezed out a laugh at the whole thing.
“Hah? Now you too, Dad?!” Katsuki pointed at you and his father simultaneously as he started to chuckle. “Traitors!” He usually got over things as quickly as he got riled up about them.
After you'd brushed your teeth and washed your face, you joined Katsuki in his room and closed the door behind you. Even at the age of 25, he was a grumpy old man; already in bed, reading by lamplight. You crawled into bed with him, sidling up next to him and giggling.
"What?"
"It feels like we're teenagers and I'm sneaking into your room after your parents have gone to bed."
He hummed, smirking.
Being in his childhood bed with him got you thinking. You knew Katsuki had been a virgin until he was twenty. Biting your lip, you rolled over on your side to face him.
“You’ve never had sex in this bed, have you?”
“Course not.” Intuitive as ever he quickly ascertained where this was headed. “Don’t even go there, babe. No. We can’t-“
Rubbing your hand up and down his chest and tummy, you pressed your lips to his ear and pouted. “But Katsuki? Need you, baby…”
“No! Are you crazy? They’ll hear us!”
You continued coaxing him. “Not if we’re quiet…”
He tried to fight it, but his boxers were getting tighter by the second.
“When have you ever been quiet when we fuck, hah?”
You scoffed. “I can be quiet!”
He folded his arm over his chest, his huge bicep curling into a lazy flex which just made you want him even more.
“C’mon, Katsu-baby. If I get too loud you can always cover my mouth with your hand,” you teased, drawing slow circles on his chest.
He whipped his head over to look at you. “You serious?”
“Uh-huhhh,” you said with a slow nod. "Try me."
Just then a wide grin spread across his pretty face. He closed and dropped his book on the bed as he rolled over on top of you. “Well then. Let’s see how much of a good girl you can be.”
You laughed softly. “Wait. The All Might poster…it feels like he’s watching us.”
Katsuki licked his teeth and said, “He’s giving two thumbs up so he must like what he sees.”
Quiet laughter and canoodling gradually gave way to quiet moans and gasps.

What are your thoughts on the Warriors of Hope?
Okay I am gonna try to keep my thoughts on the Warriors of Hope as brief as possible because I don’t think anyone wants me to ramble on forever. Because honestly… I could. Ultra Despair Girls is probably one of my favorite games in the series just right behind the second game.
And I think that’s because of the direction the writers went with child characters in this game. I think that in anime and games, a lot of child characters are designated to being little angelic characters who can do no wrong or just filler/plot devices in a sense. There usually isn’t much character to them aside from them being a little brother or sister figure who’s cute to look at in depth.
And that brings me to how the media portrays abuse victims. While I can’t blame creators or authors for how they portray people who go through horrific atrocities in their past (most of the time), I notice that we as an audience for the longest time typically only accept “pretty” displays of abuse. Crying, retreating inwards, becoming quiet and withdrawn.
The Warriors of Hope are not afraid to show the ugly, angry, bloody side of abuse and the emotions kids go through when they are subjected to cruelty from parents. The hardest thing to swallow about children is that they’re most likely to be preyed upon and exploited by their parents more than anyone else they grow up around. And that’s just a fact.
The Warriors of Hope, in my opinion, each symbolize the variations of abuse a child can go through from their parents.
Masaru is my favorite of the children. Though his screen time is limited, I’m usually always taken by which character stands as an introduction to the world’s rules and he is a star in the few moments he gets in the game. Because the way he reacts was just… mesmerizing for me to witness.
A bit about me: My parents were going through a divorce when I was young and I could not escape the violent way they attacked and berated each other. While they were physically violent with each other, they never hurt me aside from turning these shitty expectations and verbal attacks on me. And then I started getting violent. Hitting others as a kid, then turning it on myself with self-harm by biting and gnawing at myself all over.
So to watch Masaru go from joking around like a typical boyish Shounen manga protagonist to revealing he killed an arena full of adults to lashing out in fear and beating his own arm until it was purple was just… mesmerizing. I’ve seen his boss battle scene 14 times now. I know every line of it. It was a lot for me to take in because it brought back these memories of biting myself and all this anger and fear from a terrifying household of uncertainty. And it’s such a raw and open, brutal display of what a kid is going through in an abusive situation.
It doesn’t excuse his actions. The game shows time and time what the kids are capable of. They are kids who have agency and when it is threatened, they will do horrific things to protect what little they have at certain moments in the game.
I joked with my friends about them being adopted by other characters in the series and what that would be like. But I want to draw attention to something I really like in the series… and that’s that there was no ultimate quick fix to the Warriors of Hope and their problems. There was no “kind parent figure” who came in and saved the day. Instead the kids burnt out and lashed out and got angry and fell apart one by one. Because… ultimately… there is no fixing what they’ve been through. They literally need to fall apart and then start picking up the pieces on their own terms and there was never going to be “final solution” to their problems by the end of the game that would ever satisfy anyone. So to end it on the note they did, I think that was really well done. We know the kids are alive and away from Monaca and we’re left to speculate on their fates from here on out.
Anyways, few… that is a lot. I know you probably want my thoughts on each individual kid but there’s so much to say on them. So I wanted to define what I love about them so much before anything.
In short, I love them a lot. Masaru is my particular favorite and the one I relate to the most. I will go into more detail if you want me to talk about a particular member like Monaca or Jataro or such in the future. ^^ Thanks for the question! I have so much to say on them.

Digimon Savers Commentary Episode 33 - The Last Decisive Battle! Kouki’s Ultimate Evolution!
In this episode, with the Holy Capital dragged into the human world, Masaru gets caught up fighting Kouki amidst his home city, while Kurata executes the final stage of his plan to kill ElDoradimon and all of its Digimon citizens.
Here’s an unnecessarily long recap; I told you they started happening eventually. Rather than briefly summarising the events of the episode to remind us, it feels like we’re being made to watch several of the important scenes over again, and I’m just there twiddling my thumbs waiting to get to the new stuff. It’s nearly two minutes long. Some very detailed Ultimate-level Digimon are onscreen a lot in this episode, more so than usual up until this point; this is probably why. Animation budgets.
Anyway, recap eventually over, ElDoradimon’s appearance out in the Yokohama bay caused a huge tsunami over the waterfront. I wonder if Kurata did damage control on this – since he knew what he was about to do, he could have sent word ahead to the human world telling them the Digimon were about to “invade” the city and people should evacuate. But he also could have not bothered to do that; I wouldn’t be surprised. We’ll see later this episode that at least some people haven’t evacuated yet.
Everyone on the Digimon side is staring in horror and shock at finding themselves in the human world. The Digimon citizens especially deteriorate into panic, and I don’t blame them. From their perspective, their entire home has just been forcibly dragged into an alien world full of people who want them all dead. That’s terrifying.
As a couple of wayward Gizmon: XT descend on the city, MirageGaogamon and Rosemon dispatch them easily. (Is this the first time any of the Digimon partners have stayed evolved in between episodes? I think it might be. Except for ShineGreymon at the beginning of last episode, but that shouldn’t count when he then promptly devolved for no reason.)
Baromon, at Yushima’s behest, tries to calm the citizens so that they still stand a chance of winning the battle.
Yoshino: “Besides, that muscular idiot will be here soon.”
Ah, yes. The most appropriate way to describe Masaru. (He and Ikuto and their partners have not quite yet arrived through the Gate, which is still hanging open above them.)
Baromon: “Yes! We still have Suguru’s son with us!”
Piccolomon: “Suguru’s son will take care of this somehow!”
Yes, clearly! The power of that perfect legendary hero who turned a desert into a lake just by punching it is definitely still here and able to win you the battle, somehow, even though it hasn’t done so yet. This thought actually rallies the citizens into cheers again. They are so desperately clinging to this much harder than they should, but I suppose anything makes them think there’s a chance is good.
Tohma: (But… ElDoradimon has fallen into the human world. What the hell is Kurata thinking?)
Credit to Tohma, he’s able to not let this Masaru’s Dad Is Awesome moment pull him into his jealousy and stays focused on the important strategic concerns. Kurata is also here now, having hitched a lift through the Gate on one of his Gizmon, chuckling to himself.
Just as the Digital Gate is about to close, Yatagaramon shoots out of it with his three passengers. (Somehow Masaru and Agumon are now on his back along with Ikuto, even though they were in his claws at the end of last episode.)
For some reason, Yatagaramon then flies a good ways into the human city and deposits Masaru and Agumon on a random rooftop. They immediately rush back across the roof in the direction of the sea and ElDoradimon, but are blocked by the chain-link fence that Japanese rooftops have.
Masaru: “We can’t stay here. Let’s go!”
You also could have not come here in the first place??? If getting to ElDoradimon was you guys’ highest priority, as it should be, why did Yatagaramon stop here?
The real reason for this, of course, is that this is where the writers wanted the fight with Kouki to begin. He arrives through his own (presumably space-time bomb-induced) Digital Gate on the rooftop, having somehow pinpointed Masaru’s exact location, at which point it makes sense for Masaru and Agumon to want to stay and deal with this here while they tell Ikuto and Yatagaramon to head back to the Holy Capital.
(Really, though, while having this fight with Kouki amidst the human city was important to the episode, there’s other ways this could have worked. Kouki could have led Masaru into the city on purpose after their fight began closer to ElDoradimon, especially since, from the perspective of Kurata’s grand plan, this is really just one big distraction to keep Masaru out of the way.)
Masaru and Kouki both roar and charge at each other, meeting fist-to-fist and flaring up with their respective Digisouls.
Masaru: “That bastard Kouki… There’s something different about him this time!”
Ha, Masaru can sense just from punching him that Kouki’s stronger than before. I enjoy his ability to pick up on things like this intuitively through fighting; it’s very him.
Kouki somehow levitates into the air – geez, Masaru and co. never get to do that from the power of their Digisouls, unfair – before evolving into BioDarkdramon. Masaru evolves Agumon in turn.
…I suspect that the only real reason ShineGreymon randomly devolved at the beginning of last episode was for the purposes of having a scene here where Agumon is unevolved and so Masaru and Kouki get to punch each other, human-to-human, one more time before the real fight starts. Otherwise, ShineGreymon could have stayed as ShineGreymon throughout all of last episode, he could have been the one to fly them hurriedly back to the Digital Gate, and the fight with Kouki could have started more immediately without Masaru getting awkwardly stranded on a random rooftop he had no reason to come to.
Anyway, as the two gigantic armoured Ultimate-level dragon monsters charge at each other, opening time! The very first shot of it features ShineGreymon grabbing this fancy sword, which we will be seeing in this episode. I don’t know if said sword really deserves so much importance as to be put right at the beginning of the opening, though.
Back at the Holy Capital, Rosemon and MirageGaogamon are busy dispatching any Gizmon: XT who get close – several of them at a time, as you’d expect, because evolution levels. A couple of the city’s Pumpmon (Perfect-level) are inspired to get in on the action, so they use their Trick-or-Treat attack, which involves dropping a giant pumpkin on the enemy’s head to take control of them, apparently, and using this they get two Gizmon: XT to destroy each other. I might otherwise raise an eyebrow at regular Perfect-levels being able to so easily deal with these Gizmon: XT that were supposed to be a fair bit stronger than Perfect-levels should be, but perhaps if they’re using trickery to turn the enemy’s own strength against it, that’s one way to trump the usual power levels.
Meanwhile, on a long bridge over the sea (probably a real Yokohama landmark, knowing Digimon), a military van is acting as a portable command centre for Kurata.
What’s really rich is that the tech guys working there are wearing what looks like DATS uniforms. Either Kurata had his men wear knock-offs of that uniform out of spite towards DATS, or possibly, these are actual former DATS technicians who sided with Kurata during the whole bit between episodes 25 and 26. You know, where Kurata came in claiming that Mercurimon had attacked them and the main DATS team had traitorously sided with him and all Digimon are dangerous monsters who need to be eradicated.
Technician: “Currently, the enemy suppression rate is at 37%.”
Presumably what he means by this is that they’ve currently killed 37% of the Digimon who were in the Holy Capital to begin with. Calling it a “rate” doesn’t make much sense – but upon examination (of a Japanese online dictionary), it seems that might be a subs thing; the word used for “rate” here can apparently also mean “proportion” and should probably have been translated as that in this context.
Kurata: “Throw the XT beta army at the enemy Ultimate-levels.”
Here’s an interesting little tidbit that could help explain why these Gizmon: XT have been getting progressively less threatening as they’ve grown in number. It seems he really has been mass-producing these things to the point that some of them are just beta versions that probably really aren’t as strong as the one he showed off in episode 25. Or, at least, that’s one way we could choose to interpret his use of the word “beta” here.
Kurata: “Kouki-kun will continue to keep ShineGreymon busy.”
Yep, Kouki really is doing nothing but playing distraction. Not that Kouki minds, I’m sure, since he’s been champing at the bit to get a rematch with Masaru for several episodes now.
As the enemy suppression percentage reaches 40, Kurata takes this as his cue to begin implementing the next stages of his plan, which involve something called the DHS, and the Javelin’s Core. The latter is an absolutely massive metal javelin, which begins to be lifted into the air by four large helicopters. Along with that, some military ships move out into the water, carrying unusual-looking cannons on their decks.
Back in the human city, ShineGreymon and BioDarkdramon are wrestling each other in midair. As BioDarkdramon manages to kick his opponent away for a moment, he takes the opportunity to round on Masaru, tiny and fragile and an easy target, back on the rooftop. ShineGreymon tackles him away before he can get close, and then, for Masaru’s safety, offers him his hand to climb up on. Riding on your giant Digimon partner, not for the sake of transport, but for the sake of fighting! (Though, actually, Tohma did this first.)
Reporter: “The monsters who are threatening us have suddenly intruded into the gulf coast!”
Ah, yes, those terrible monstrous Digimon are invading us again! That’s legitimately how this development must look to the human civilians who don’t know why ElDoradimon really ended up here. This isn’t really the main point of Kurata’s move to drag the Holy Capital over here, but it’s certainly helping with his propaganda that Digimon are horrible dangerous threats to humanity’s safety.
Reporter: “Right now, a weapon designed by Professor Kurata to protect us is on its way. […]”
Miki: “They’re making it sound like Kurata is a defender of justice.”
They sure are. Kurata, humanity’s hero, here to save us all from these vicious scary Digimon with his brilliant inventions!
Megumi: “Shh. We’re still wanted criminals.”
Also, hey, it’s Miki and Megumi! We haven’t seen them since they stayed behind in the human world in episode 27, but they’re still here, having apparently been dodging arrest from Kurata’s people all this time. (Though, really, Megumi, you might not want to say you’re wanted criminals out loud like that, not when you’re here amongst a crowd of people watching the news report.)
Reporter: “The government has declared their full support to Professor Kurata in his efforts to resolve this problem.”
Just in case anyone was ever wondering how Kurata got enough money and resources to create this ridiculously many Gizmon, not to mention some of his other toys he uses this episode: looks like he’s getting a lot of government funding and help from the Japanese military. This is a lot of the reason why he dragged ElDoradimon over here – in the human world, his home turf, he has access to a lot more stuff than he could reasonably bring to the middle of nowhere in the Digital World.
Chika and Sayuri are in their living room, watching this report, wondering if this means Masaru is back in the human world, hoping he’s okay. Sayuri must have been feeling so helpless this whole time; at least now that Masaru’s here again, within her reach, it’s something.
Out in the city, a bunch of human civilians (who are hopefully busy evacuating if they have any sense) watch the two giant armoured dragon monsters chase each other through the sky overhead.
Masaru is surfing on ShineGreymon’s shoulder now. That’s definitely not a very precarious position that should really put him at huge risk of falling off; it’s fine because anime physics.
ShineGreymon, the one being pursued, circles all the way around a skyscraper in order to get himself behind BioDarkdramon instead. He begins charging a Glorious Burst (telegraphing your location by calling your attacks, guys!), but turning to him upon hearing this, BioDarkdramon casually hangs there, making no attempt to dodge.
BioDarkdramon: “Go ahead and shoot! Do it if you’ve got the guts.”
He’s hovering in front of a skyscraper full of civilians who haven’t evacuated yet. If ShineGreymon used a ranged attack here, it’d slam BioDarkdramon back through the building, killing hundreds of innocent people.
Masaru: “That’s dirty, Kouki!”
BioDarkdramon: “Dumbass! There’s nothing clean or dirty in a fight!”
Oh, but there is. Masaru’s street fights are very anything-goes, but only insofar as that involves the people who have chosen to fight. He has always had very strong principles about not harming those weaker than you, those who aren’t involved and therefore haven’t made the choice to risk getting hurt. Bringing unrelated innocents into this and putting them at risk is disgusting tactics according to Masaru’s standards. That is Not What A Man Does.
Kouki doesn’t give a damn, though. He’s perfectly happy to get a few hundred innocents – innocent humans – hurt or killed if it’ll let him win.
There’s been a lot of obvious similarities between Masaru and Kouki, in how they’re both reckless hotheads eager to fight any opponent and who refuse to take losing lying down. But here’s their big contrast, made even clearer here than it already was from all of Kouki’s assholery in previous episodes. Masaru, despite his fighty nature, is a fundamentally good person with a strong moral code – his concept of manliness! – that he adheres to no matter what. Kouki doesn’t frickin’ care about any of that and only enjoys selfishly exerting power over others.
If anyone ever imagined, upon hearing that Masaru is a notorious street fighter, that this means he’s nothing but a violent thug who only cares about beating people up, they’re wrong. That’s what Kouki is, and Masaru’s nothing like Kouki in the ways that really count.
BioDarkdramon: “Also, let me tell you something else. You aren’t able to attack me, but I can attack you as much as I want!”
At this, BioDarkdramon charges at ShineGreymon with an attack. ShineGreymon dodges at first, but then, seeing BioDarkdramon continuing on right towards another skyscraper, has no choice but to put himself back in the way and absorb his momentum, just barely saving the building from destruction.
Not only is Kouki completely chill with potentially getting a few hundred innocents killed, he’s also totally willing to use that, and the fact that Masaru has actual standards where he doesn’t, in order to get himself an advantage. Those are some really horrifically dirty tactics, risking innocents just for his own gain. Masaru must be fuming.
(It’s this that makes me think things would have worked fine if their fight had started out by the bay, instead of Yatagaramon randomly bringing them far away from where they wanted to be. Kouki would have wanted to lead Masaru and ShineGreymon into the city during the fight anyway, precisely so that he could use this dirty tactic to stand a better chance of winning.)
…Well, I say Masaru’s probably fuming, but actually, after ShineGreymon blocks the hit, BioDarkdramon flings him to the ground and Masaru implicitly passes out from the impact for a little bit while we cut to other things.
Back at ElDoradimon, where Rosemon and MirageGaogamon are still working together to take down Gizmon, and Yatagaramon approaches overhead, four military ships have surrounded the city.
At Kurata’s order to initiate the Digital Hazard System – the DHS mentioned earlier – they fire their cannon things, which turn out to be a strange kind of solidified energy that works something like ropes, lashing onto each of ElDoradimon’s feet. Not that ElDoradimon was going anywhere anyway, but Kurata really wants to make sure it stays put.
The energy-ropes apparently also hurt, because the poor city turtle roars like it’s in huge pain. Baromon, horrified at seeing his beloved living city suffering, throws aside all sense of self-preservation and desperately climbs up onto the ramparts to try and appeal to his foes.
Baromon: “STOP! Don’t put ElDoradimon through any more pain!”
The humans driving the ships probably can’t even see him from this distance. Kurata certainly can’t. Even if they did, they wouldn’t care. Digimon are just vicious monsters, right?
All Baromon actually succeeded in doing with this is to expose himself to attack and forget to watch his back. One of the Gizmon: XT still skulking around the city takes the opportunity to shoot a laser at him from behind, piercing right through him.
Baromon: “T-Tell Suguru’s son… to take care… of ElDoradimon…”
As Yushima and some of the city’s warriors watch in horror, the last thought Baromon clings to is still the notion that their heroic saviour’s son will be able to somehow miraculously turn things around.
(He doesn’t even seem to realise that Suguru’s son is currently nowhere near the Holy Capital, busy settling a personal score and dealing with a diversion that’s threatening his own city. Masaru is just one person, not some kind of perfect legendary hero.)
With that, Baromon dies. They actually remember to show his egg disintegrating, for once, I guess because he’s a reasonably important character and they want to hammer it home that he’s really gone.
Gawappamon furiously fires off an attack at the offending Gizmon. The shot direction keeps managing to make it ambiguous as to whether any of Gawappamon’s attacks actually defeat a Gizmon: XT, which is good, because I’d be complaining about evolution level violation if they did. Gawappamon is only Adult. Given how dire things are getting, I’m really surprised Yushima hasn’t pulled out a stronger evolution. I’d expect him to be capable of it; Satsuma was.
Along with the ships chaining ElDoradimon down, Tohma and Yoshino notice the helicopters overhead carrying the javelin’s core. Out on that long bridge across the bay, there’s way more than just the one military truck Kurata’s using as a base. He’s got rows and rows of them filling the whole bridge, all of which open up to reveal countless Gizmon: XT. The swarm of Gizmon begin to fly towards the javelin’s core, which is now hanging directly above ElDoradimon.
Both of these fancy weapons of Kurata look Very Bad, so Tohma orders MirageGaogamon to deal with the Gizmon and Rosemon to go for the ships.
Back in the human city, Masaru regains consciousness, clutched protectively to ShineGreymon’s chest. (Aww, look at him protecting his comparatively small and fragile aniki.)
BioDarkdramon: “What’s wrong, Daimon Masaru? You finished already?”
Masaru: “Don’t look down on me! Come down! I’ll kick your ass!”
I love the sheer Masaru-level audacity. It very much comes across like he personally will kick the giant dragon-monster’s ass, because ShineGreymon is currently lying on his back, not seeming ready to get back into the fight just yet.
Kouki responds by attacking the building ShineGreymon protected earlier, attempting to collapse the entire thing onto Masaru. (Geez, I hope the people in it evacuated during the interim while Masaru was out; it is very possible they all just got killed.) We get a very rare heroic instance of the “Did I get him?” *smoke clears* NOPE trope, as it turns out ShineGreymon got up just in time to shield Masaru from the whole-ass building falling onto him, while barely seeming hurt from the impact. Because, you know, that’s just a thing Ultimate-levels can do with their utterly ridiculous levels of power.
ShineGreymon: “Aniki, are you okay?”
Masaru: “Thanks!”
BioDarkdramon: “Hey hey, being all chumly, are we? You make me puke!”
Shush, Kouki, this is a shounen anime, being adorable friends is a requirement. Also it’s nice to see a rare moment of ShineGreymon feeling like a character in his evolved form, caring about protecting his (tiny and fragile!) aniki.
Apparently no longer even trying to hide that this whole thing is just a diversion, Kouki goes on to taunt that Masaru shouldn’t even have the time to waste around here anyway because of what’s happening to ElDoradimon.
Masaru looks over towards the sea to see the javelin hanging above the turtle’s back, as the swarm of Gizmon: XT begin to wrap around the comparatively gigantic core, coating it with a layer of thousands of Gizmon.
Masaru: “Wh-What is that?”
Kurata: “A weapon that’s made specifically against ElDoradimon. The Gizmon Javelin.”
The writers are using that narrative trick of switching between two scenes at once for the sake of some more dynamic exposition. But though it sounds like Kurata is answering Masaru’s question, in reality, he’s nowhere near him at all. He apparently just felt like gloating at an audience of two technicians who must already know full well what the Gizmon Javelin is. Continuing to be very full of himself and his genius inventions, this Kurata.
(The fact that he designed this weapon specially for ElDoradimon also lends some amount of credence to my theory I mentioned a few episodes ago, that his assassinations of SaberLeomon and Mercurimon required preparation and special honing of the Gizmon to destroy their data specifically. Killing an Ultimate-level is not as easy as just shooting it with the regular old death laser without any planning, it would seem – and especially not an Ultimate-level this huge.)
BioDarkdramon: “Once that’s completed, ElDoradimon is dead meat. Wha’cha gonna do?”
Kouki is having a great time taunting Masaru about how he can’t be in two places at once, both defending the Holy Capital from Kurata and his own home city from Kouki’s wanton destruction. The latter is even more tricky right now, given that ShineGreymon’s usual ranged attacks will also do a number on the city if he tries to use them.
BioDarkdramon fires off a shockwave at the pair just to punctuate his point. ShineGreymon is unharmed, but Masaru goes flying out of his grasp and ShineGreymon has to reach out and catch him. Again: so tiny and fragile! ShineGreymon working so hard to protect his aniki!
BioDarkdramon: “Daimon Masaru, you are powerless. Bite your nails while you watch ElDoradimon disappear! After that, I’ll savour my time beating y—”
Masaru: “No thanks! I’ve got no plans to stand by and watch this happen!”
I love how, despite Kouki’s attempt at evil gloating, just full-on being a huge asshole and trying to enjoy watching his enemy suffer and squirm, Masaru shuts him right down and is having none of it.
Masaru: “No matter how many times I’ve fallen, I’ll stand right back up again! Again and again! As long as there’s still a possibility, I’ll never give up! You are going down!”
Like hell he’s ever going to let himself just sit there and be powerless, no matter how bad things get!
(And really, despite how dire things look and the way Kouki’s trying to taunt him about this, Masaru and ShineGreymon are both still standing, able to fight. This really isn’t necessarily a situation in which he feels powerless as much as some of the other things he’s been through.)
From the strength of Masaru’s sheer stubborn determination, and as the intro to Believer starts up, his Digivice begins to glow in his pocket. This honestly isn’t any particularly interesting or unique kind of emotion from Masaru here that’s triggering a new power, but also this new power isn’t especially strong or useful either compared to a full-on evolution level, so I don’t really mind.
Glowing with the same power, ShineGreymon punches the ground and summons up a fancy double-ended sword out of a ring of flame. (It’s a cool animation, so don’t think too hard about the fact that it makes it look like he just pulled it out of the tarmac of this ordinary human street.) This is the GeoGrey Sword. Not sure why it gets named after his Adult-level and isn’t, like, the ShineGrey Sword, but hey.
Now that he has a melee weapon, it’s a lot easier for ShineGreymon to safely fight without risking levelling the city every time he attacks. In this particular instance, summoning up a giant sword is pretty useful and exactly what he needs to turn the tides!
(It… really won’t be the rest of the time, though. Get ready for me to poke fun at that.)
This time, Masaru stays on the ground instead of riding on ShineGreymon’s shoulder, which is less Friends but probably a lot more practical, considering the way ShineGreymon’s spinning and dancing around with his sword moves.
One of his swipes manages to slice into the… I hesitate to call it “skin”; leathery fabric? …the non-armoured part in BioDarkdramon’s midriff, and Kouki is furious. How dare Masaru and his partner injure him! What do you mean this fight isn’t just a one-sided beatdown in which Kouki taunts Masaru about his powerlessness and savours his suffering as revenge for the defeats in previous episodes.
BioDarkdramon: “All of you will die!”
I really want to take note of the specific Japanese phrasing here, for reasons. Kouki doesn’t directly use the word “die” – what he says literally means “disappear” – but apparently the subbers felt like it was appropriate to sub it as this anyway. Someone like Kouki is entirely the sort of person who wouldn’t beat around the bush and would get very rough and direct about death when he’s furious like this, so I’m going to assume that, despite the literal wording, this is a turn of phrase that is nonetheless frequently used to mean death in Japanese, enough that it might as well be what he’s literally saying. I want to trust that the subbers used their judgement and knowledge of Japanese connotations to sub it that way to give us the correct and most accurate effect.
This matters to me a lot; you’ll find out why in a couple of episodes.
BioDarkdramon happens to have placed himself above ShineGreymon in the air, which you’d think would instantly solve the ranged-attacks-would-wreck-the-city problem. ShineGreymon can fire a Glorious Burst at him from here and it’d dissipate harmlessly into the sky. Maybe we can pretend this is a sign of Kouki being so furious that he’s getting careless, but in practice it’s meaningless, because now that he has his new sword, ShineGreymon isn’t even thinking about the ranged attacks any more.
BioDarkdramon fires off an orb of dark energy at ShineGreymon (and the city), but ShineGreymon uses his new sword like a baseball bat to deflect it and send it into the ocean instead. Actually another pretty useful application for the sword! that we will never be seeing again.
(Also, the animators have already forgotten to keep drawing the wound on BioDarkdramon’s stomach, whoops.)
ShineGreymon: “This is the end!”
BioDarkdramon: “Cut the bullshit! This won’t end. It’ll never end! Not until I beat you!”
Kouki: the world’s sorest loser ever, as you’d expect from an asshole like him.
They charge at each other in midair with their respective blades, and ShineGreymon remains unharmed as he runs BioDarkdramon through, defeating him. He catches the unconscious Kouki and the egg and places them on the street, then he and Masaru rush off to try and help ElDoradimon. No way Masaru’s going to sit around having a conversation with his defeated Bio-Hybrid rival like the other two did; he’s got better things to do right now, besides which he wouldn’t even care about anything Kouki had to say.
Kurata hears that BioDarkdramon has lost, but he barely cares, because Kouki did his job and provided ample distraction; the Gizmon Javelin has finished forming. We never even saw any of MirageGaogamon and Rosemon’s attempts to take out these weapons, but we can assume they were largely fruitless against the sheer size and scale of them. Even Ultimate-levels have their limits when Kurata’s basically levied the entire Japanese military and spiced it up with his own anti-Digimon tech.
Just to give you a sense of how huge this thing is: it’s really freaking huge. I do not blame MirageGaogamon for not being able to take that down. Exponential increase in power from a higher evolution level only goes so far; there must be thousands of Gizmon: XT in there.
Masaru: “ShineGreymon, we’ve gotta destroy that thing!”
Oh, Masaru. He and ShineGreymon are rushing to make it there as fast as they can, determined to feel like they can do something about this. In the urgency of the moment (and perhaps the still-lingering idea that he’s the saviour’s son and the whole city’s counting on him specifically), it doesn’t seem to occur to him that obviously Tohma and Yoshino and Ikuto must have been working on destroying that thing the entire time and getting nowhere, in which case he’d be no different. He just doesn’t want it to not be possible.
(As they fly towards the bay, they happen to pass directly over the news crew. Chika, watching on TV, realises her brother really is here – I doubt she could see Masaru directly, and she’s not seen ShineGreymon before, but it’s a fair guess that he might be the next evolution for Agumon, so, sure.)
But even if ShineGreymon taking out the javelin were somehow miraculously possible, it’s too late. Before he can even get close, Kurata gives the order, and the javelin begins to drop.
MirageGaogamon and Rosemon, seeing this, immediately switch tacks from trying to take out the Gizmon to just getting their partners the hell out of there. Tohma and Yoshino are still there in the capital, and the capital is screwed. Gawappamon and Yushima also implicitly manage to abandon ship, along with a small scattering of the city’s warriors, but most of them probably weren’t so lucky.
The poor city turtle roars in agony one last time as the javelin pierces through it, turning the city to rubble in an instant, disintegrating ElDoradimon into data and a soon-to-be-lost egg just a moment later. It’s pretty stark and horrifying, all of the onlookers watching in horror as this gigantic, beautiful creature is torn apart, all while Kurata chuckles to himself like it’s the best day ever. All the Digimon who were still inside the city must have been killed too (all the baby Digimon who were sheltering inside from the battle!), hundreds if not thousands of lives wiped out in an instant.
As debris floats past, Masaru stands on ShineGreymon’s shoulder, staring at the gigantic empty space where an entire city just was, having been powerless to get there in time, to stop it, to fulfil his promise of protecting the city (and living up to his dad’s reputation)… and with no other way to express it, he just roars in desperate anguish.
The remaining Gizmon are sucking up all the life energy from this, of course. This was the big haul that Kurata wanted, to get him enough energy to fulfil his other goal. We get another glimpse of that thing in the tank, just to remind us what he was working towards.
Not long after, the DATS group – the usual four, plus Yushima – are standing at the waterfront with their (surprisingly still evolved!) partners, looking out at where ElDoradimon no longer is, trying to process their overwhelming loss.
Ikuto: “We couldn’t stop it in the end.”
Yoshino: “We were useless.”
Oh, Yoshino. I’m sure everyone’s feeling that way, but it’s very heartbreakingly her to be the one to voice it.
Masaru: “Not yet!”
Yoshino: “Masaru!”
Masaru: “The battle’s not over yet! There’s gotta be those in the Holy Capital who survived! We have to save as many as we can!”
Oh, Masaru. Everyone else was ready to lick their metaphorical wounds and feel sorry for themselves, but no. Masaru will not feel powerless; he will not accept that they just lost and there’s nothing they can do. There has to be something they can still be doing to make a difference. Even if it’s only working to save the scant handfuls of surviving Digimon who might have made it out in time, that’s something they can work on that means they aren’t just giving up. He is so stubbornly, utterly incapable of letting himself fully acknowledge the terribleness of a situation and I love him for it.
(And I mean, it’s fair that of course they should try to focus on doing that! But it is very very Masaru to refuse to even think about how much they lost and grieve for those who just died before turning to that.)
As the group head out on their partners (oh, that’s why the writers kept them evolved) to go look for survivors, a couple of men in suits are observing Tohma through binoculars and noting that he’s the one they’re looking for. Before Tohma can climb onto MirageGaogamon’s hand to head off too, the men approach him.
Man: “Master Tohma. We’ve come for you.”
Given the respectful way they’re referring to him, this doesn’t seem like a sinister kidnapping sort of thing; rather, they simply require his presence for some reason. Despite the better things Tohma has to be doing right now, this is evidently something he can’t refuse, as next we see he and Gaomon are in a helicopter heading away from the site of the battle.
Masaru notices Tohma isn’t following them, sees him in the helicopter, and calls out to him in vain. He has no idea that Tohma was called away; all he knows is that he’s leaving. Why would Tohma be abandoning the fight at a time like this?!
Overall thoughts
For a Masaru-focused episode, which are usually my favourite things, this one isn’t massively interesting or issuey, but it’s fine and solid enough. (And, hey, unlike with Yoshino, at least we have plenty of other excellent Masaru episodes to choose from, so I can hardly complain.)
On an objective scale, Kouki is arguably the least interesting of the Bio-Hybrids, because he doesn’t have any kind of issues that are the root of him doing this. Thanks to Ivan being terrible, though, Kouki comes in the middle of my personal rankings of the trio anyway. He may not have any issues, but he is a solid foil to Masaru, very similar to him in a lot of superficial ways but completely the opposite in the ways that really matter. He serves that purpose well, and this episode in particular does a great job of highlighting it.
Kurata’s approach to this battle continues to be impressive even as it’s horrifying. Again, I enjoy the way this mini-arc progresses – how the previous two episodes’ developments were all leading towards this one, in which Kurata had ElDoradimon in such a hopeless position that there was really nothing anyone could do to save it. It’s neat how, though each of these three episodes may have felt on the surface like victories in that the Bio-Hybrids were defeated, our heroes kept losing ground each time in the actual battle that mattered and ultimately utterly failed.

when you have the time, maybe some Kotoko x Nagisa from danganronpa headcanons. I like how their personalities clash but they also have no one else to trust other than each other after Masaru and Jataro get dragged away and Monaca betrays them <3 ( no rush tho! Your blog is super cute! )
Of course! I hope you like them! They'll be under the cut! and thank you! I'm glad you like my blog - Mod Syrup
Kotoko Utsugi x Nagisa Shingetsu headcanons
Nagisa had always liked Kotoko a bit more than Monaca, he had only realized it after Monaca had betrayed him.
Like, yeah, Kotoko would get frustrated at times with how strict Nagisa was, but with how he was raised, could you really blame him? But with how he cared about her and protected her, it was surprise he didn't realize his crush on her sooner.
Perhaps his crush on Monaca was him projecting his feelings for Kotoko onto a different source out of fear that Kotoko wouldn't like him. Again, she would get annoyed with his strictness, and if she was annoyed by that, why would she want to spend more time around him than needed.
Though, after Monaca's betrayal, they kinda had no choice but to spend a lot of time together, especially if they wanted to stay friends after everything. I mean, Masaru and Jataro are presumed to be dead according to them, and we already know why they aren't friends with Monaca anymore, so it really is just them.
They soon come to find they have a lot of trust in each other, actually trusting each other with their lives. In fact, they become kinda attached to each other, not wanting to leave each others sides
When sleeping, they usually sleep in shifts so they can protect each other, or they sleep cuddling together so they know they won't be apart again.
They will still deny having any crush on each other, simply stating that they care for each other cause "they have no one else to trust, they have to care for each other"
Though when they started kissing each other on the cheeks & foreheads, they couldn't claim they just care for each other a lot anymore, like come on.

Prompt- "Are you upset with me?"
Paring: Katsuki Bakugou and Tenya Iida x !gn reader
Summary: The reader sees that their S/O is having a bad day, but feels like it was because of them. Even though sometimes life is just irritating and can't be helped.
Notes: We're 2 followers away from 100, ahhhhh!! But I felt like writing angst so here we go. Also, I'm sorry there are only two characters, they were more long than usual so that's why! P.S I'm sorry I haven't been active lately! I've been having to finish up exams and school in general, but I'll try to post as much as I can! <3
Genre: Angst 🖤
Katsuki Bakugou-
Yes, Katsuki is known to be hot-headed, and yes sometimes even small things would make him angry. But you never once caused that, he never blamed it on you or something that you did. He wasn't the type to open up about what was bothering him until he exploded with all the anger that was held in. You were staying with Katsuki for holiday break, ever since you started dating him this is what you would do each year. You were sitting on the couch, Mitsuki and Masaru were out for the day while Katsuki was out with some of his friends. You didn't mind being home by yourself, it was nice for you every now and then. Well, that and you and Katsuki got into a small but heated argument. It was over something stupid, even you'll admit it, but you just needed time to cool off.
It all started with a simple cup, yes a cup. It was one of your old coffee cups you got from your mother, you've had it for years. It wasn't like you couldn't buy another one, but it meant a lot to you, replaceable or not. You walked in that morning, seeing Katsuki with the mug. You smile and hug him from behind, wrapping your arms around him. "I'm guessing you like my amazing coffee cup then." You say laughing, he rolls his eyes while smirking. He set it down and turned around to face you. Whenever he did, he managed to accidentally knock it over and it hit the floor. The once fully intact cup was now shattered into a million pieces. Your eyes went wide and you were filled with anger, "Katsuki! That was the cup my mom gave me!" You say, immediately bending down to start picking up the pieces. "(Y/N), it's just a stupid mug." He says, grabbing a towel. You stood back up and looked at him, "it wasn't a stupid mug Bakugou! It was a gift I got from my mother whenever I was young!" He frowns, leaning on the counter. "Okay so?" He says while looking at you. "How stupid can you be Katsuki!? This meant so much to me and all you have to say is 'okay so'?" You start to raise your voice. "Jesus (Y/N), chill out. We can buy another damn cup." He says, his tone matching yours. His knuckles turn white from gripping the counter. That's all that needed to be said before he walked out and you were standing there with shattered pieces in your hand.
That night whenever he walked in, you were on the couch watching a random tv show. You turned to look behind you and saw Katsuki taking off his shoes and going into the kitchen. You turned off the tv and placed the remote on the end table, getting up and going into the kitchen behind him. He was making what looked like a bowl of cereal and you leaned on the door. "How was the fair?" You ask, trying to make some conversation. "We didn't go." He said blankly and went back to putting up the cereal box. The rest of the night was like this. Whenever you both were laying in bed, you could hear the wind outside. "Are you upset with me?" you ask. It was silent then you finally hear a small and quiet, "no." You sigh and turn to him, he is staring up at the ceiling. "Do you want to talk about it?" He turns and faces you, sighing. "I didn't mean to break that cup, I should have been careful." Wait, him apologizing? This was definitely different for him to say "I'm sorry" first. "I had a bad morning, with mom. We got into it about that damn fair and so I didn't go. Then I took it out on you." You sigh and scoot a little closer to him, "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have yelled at you over that." He chuckled slightly, "let's worry about this in the morning. I'm tired from having to deal with shitty hair today." You laugh and lay your head on his chest as you went to sleep.
Tenya Iida-
Tenya took training seriously, well he took everything seriously. Even if that meant it could put him into a bad mood. You and he were training, it was around noon on a Saturday so nobody else was there. You tended to be more of the competitive one out of the both of you. The morning started off terribly, you accidentally spilled hot tea on Iida and ruined his new shirts, then his new training wear was all stretched out from the washer, everything that could of went wrong, went wrong. Usually, training was fun for both of you, but today it was tense and uncomfortable.
You stopped for a second, to take a breath and to check your phone. You were expecting a call from your brother in America, he was visiting and wanted to tell you all about it. "(Y/N), come on focus." Tenya says, crossing his arms and looking at it. You sigh and put your phone away, "I was just checking to see if I had any messages or calls." He rolled his eyes and went to start. You sigh, this wasn't like him. Usually, he understood or asked what's wrong, but you went with it, seeing that he's annoyed. By the time you finished up with training, it was dark. "It was a really good session babe!" You say smiling, Tenya just nodded and grabbed his bag. You sigh and follow behind him, whenever it boiled down to it, you were always trying to figure out what was wrong. You didn't want to get on his nerves more so you tried to figure out why he was irritated. Was it because you spilled tea on him? Was it because you accidentally washed his clothes on the wrong setting? Was it because of your competitiveness? There were so many questions rushing through your head.
Whenever the both of you reached his dorm, you both dropped your bags and started to change into something more comfortable. "Babe?" You ask, Tenya just replied with a "hm?" and you sighed. "Are you upset with me?" He turned around, eyes wide. "No no no, I'm sorry (y/n)." He says, hugging you tightly. "Then why did you barely talk to me today? Was it the shirts, I can buy you a new one." He chuckles, "no it wasn't the shirts." He pulls away from the hug and looks at you. "I just had a really bad day, it wasn't you." You sniffle, he wipes away any stray tears you had on your face. "I didn't mean to take it out on you, I never meant to." You smile slightly, "are you sure?" He nods, "positive." The rest of the night he was asking you about your brother and how he was doing in America. He made sure to make it up to you and honestly you were glad he talked to you about it. He always reminded you that if he ever does get irritated, to brush it off, it was probably something in his personal life and not you.

I love it when people talk about things they're passionate about, tell me something cool!! Anything you want, just something you find interesting or want to talk about :D
hello anon my beloved, I am in a bad mood so you will be receiving a passionate, yet lowkey of pissy rant about why villainizing bakugou makes me wanna vomit and its NOT just because I'm a dumbass kinnie :)
tws: child abuse (emotional and physical), near death expierences, bullying, kidnapping, suffocation, lots of trauma in general tbh. if you've seen bnha then basically just keep all the general triggering plot stuff in mind incase i missed any warnings
also, note: I havent caught up on bnha in a minute, I'm at like the start of the war arc but I barely remember shit there tbh so like. probs missing new stuff. also bnha spoiler warnings lol
so, for starters, the homie bakugou has like,, a good handful of issues that come from his childhood that explain why he's an ass. he was always praised and never actually reprimanded for being a twat which led to him having a huge ego that ended up fucking him over majorly. this ego was something that his mother acknowledged him having, but literally didnt try to fix it with anything other than violence. see here:
like, instead of trying to help him, she hits and insults him, which is probably what led to his weird inferiority/superiority complex. being constantly told by others that you're outstanding and one day you'll be a top hero because you're rude and aggressive and then going home and being hit by your mother for those exact same behaviors is bound to fucking confuse a child.
so like, now that we've established that its definetly canon that his mother (parents? I think he said parents at some point but masaru doesn't seem like the type so 🤷) hits him though we don't know how much or how often (though if bakugou was as much of a little shit back then ((which as far as we've seen- he was)) then it was probably often), lets talk about how regardless of all that 1) hitting your kids as "discipline" not only doesn't work but is abusive lol like idc if it's spanking/popping them on the mouth for talking shit, slapping them across the face "on occasion", etc. shits not okay 2) hitting your kids!!!! does not work!!!!!!!! it is literally PROVEN not to work!!!!!!!! hitting a child who has done something wrong doesnt teach them to stop doing something it teaches them to be scared of you, which will cause the child to withdraw, removing part of their support system (assuming said abusive parents would even offer that up) and will most likely lead to them thinking they're a bad person, not that their actions were bad, which are two different things. so, ya know, that would clearly have an effect on a kid. like, as someone with a mother who reminds me all too much of mitsuki: I have acted like a complete shitbag and taken my anger out on people to feel better in the past because of the way my mother treated me. though it was nowhere near what bakugou did, I still know first fucking hand what a mother hitting and insulting her child will do, especially if they have no proper outlet for that (friends, a safe place to vent) which bakugou never fucking had.
theres also the fact that just talking to your kid the way mitsuki does (saying it's his fault he was kidnapped because he's weak, all while hitting him) is not??? okay?????? ive seen people arguing that this was just a joke in poor taste but like her son was KIDNAPPED and even if it was a "joke" there's literally NO WAY that would EVER?? BE FUNNY??????? she just sounds like the kind of parent who at the very least says shit without thinking that would traumatize bakugou (because being told right after being kidnapped it's your fucking fault by your mother is absolutely traumatizing) but it comes across as her being emotionally abusive.
mitsukis character as a whole comes across as a shitty mom who doesn't realize she's a shitty mom and thinks bakugou being an ass isn't at least partially her fault even though she's admitted to realizing he has always had an ego problem and doing nothing to fix it except for hitting and yelling which obviously did nothing but make him just as loud and violent as she is.
this is obviously not the entire reason why he's a dick but he was never properly taught that the shit he was doing wasn't okay and people not stopping it and/or praising him endlessly even tho he was a bully is basically the same as encouraging it, thank you very much.
moving on from that, let's talk about bakugous other traumas and how he naturally responds to them. hint: it's with either full blown panic or a fight response (verbal or physical, though usually physical. also sometimes it's the panic followed by the fight response.)
so far in bnha (keep in mind that I am not caught up, I've only read up to the beginning of the war arc and i barely remember those bits so) bakugou has...
nearly died via sludge villain (he was unable to move and was being suffocated to death- keep this in mind)
lost for the first time ever and against deku of all people (this nearly sent him into a full blown panic attack, likely because of that sexy little inferiority/superiority complex combo. think of this as like. gifted kid burnout lite. he has always been the best of the best and now suddenly he is being beaten by somebody who has always been weaker than him, which immediately makes him start thinking he was never actually that good, he's actually a fucking failure, a goddamn fraud)
won the sports festival by default (bakugou counts this as yet another failure because todoroki didnt try his best. had bakugou lost to todoroki full strength, he would've taken 2nd place with a bit of bitching, but he still wouldve taken it rather than refuse the medal as it would be a reminder that he failed. instead of accepting that like UA shouldve, the staff chained and muzzled him on live television and then had all might, his fucking idol, force the medal into his mouth. remember the sludge villain incident and how he couldnt move and was suffocating to death? yeah.)
been kidnapped because of the way he reacted to winning during the sports festival (he was aggressive and tried to refuse the medal because he felt he didnt deserve it and was then retraumatized by being chained up and muzzled. his "villainous attitude" was a fucking trauma response, do not tell me otherwise)
was then chained up once again by the LOV after being kidnapped,,, do we see the "retraumatize bkg" theme yet?
"ended all might" (he literally blames himself for all mights retirement because had he just not have been weak, all might wouldve had more time, right?)
my point with all of these is that bakugou has been severely traumatized and has then had his trauma responses (aggression, fight) used to further demonize him. not all people with trauma react the fucking same and the way the fandom just refuses to acknowledge anger as a valid form of trauma response is gross as hell.
moving away from that topic, bakugou has literally never had any actual friends, they all just used him and didn't care about him which absolutely will fuck up a kid, especially one who already has all that other shit going on. bakugou deadass never had a support system or people to help him grow as a person, let alone properly work through his fucking emotions so it's not surprising that he would take out his bullshit on the one person who tried to help him especially considering he saw dekus actions as him thinking he was weak. bakugou was raised to not seek help, he thought somebody strong shouldnt ever need it, so for somebody like deku (who bakugou percieved as weak and helpless already) to offer up help? deku must obviously think bakugou is even weaker than him, what other explanation could their possibly be!
speaking of which, there's his heaps of insecurities that he basically hid by being a twat and bullying others for most of his life. kid was so insecure he bullied deku for fucking years cause he thought deku looked down on him, thought he was better than him, etc. and that only got worse bc his idol then decided to take deku in, train him and even give him his quirk. there's probably some shit im missing but still he's got issues and always has had issues. that being said, he's actually improving and working them out now which is what makes him a really good, interesting character. it's also nice to see a character who is a dick without some tragic backstory (like his backstory is sad but its not the classic "my family was fucking slaughtered and i turned into a raging bitch who murders people" type shit) bc that rarely happens and it's like most assholes don't actually have a story like that they're just assholes lol
now lets talk improvement! lil bitch has been getting better since he got into UA and im so happy abt it!! he had a rough start what with deku suddenly having a quirk and all but like he is really improving now and it highkey shows that bakugou just mostly needed people who 1) didn't constantly praise him and actually criticized him instead 2) actually fucking punished him doing stupid shit and 3) some motherfucking friends
Since going to UA he's gotten actually feedback from teachers about his weaknesses and how to get stronger, he's lost against others, hes been told he has a shit attitude and is a dick, told he should be nicer and leave deku alone, etc etc. He hasn't gotten in trouble too much with teachers but others give him shit for what he does and aizawa has punished him too, while still acknowledging that bakugou is an amazing and dedicated student, something which no one else had done up til that point. and uh???? homie actually has friends who like,,, don't use him and also call him out when he's a dick. like specifically kirishima has done this shit and him and bakugous relationship is clearly very healthy and beneficial for the both of them. makes me feel all happy n shit, ya know
bottom line is: while it is absolutely valid to dislike or even hate bakugou because he is a massively flawed person who has been very cruel to others, villainizing him for the way he acts which in large part seems to be from a lack of guidance, a shitty mother and heavy amounts of trauma, is fucking awful. his actions cannot be fucking excused, he needs to apologize and continue to grow, but he is also a fucking teenager, who is just now being told that the way he acts is unacceptable by people who dont fucking abuse him (and I swear to god if any people who think mitsuki isnt abusive interact with this fucking post I will fullstop hardblock you, I do not fucking care) and actually treat him like a normal person instead of some prodigy child or someone who needs to be fixed.
people are free to debate my points or whatever bc I know some of this stuff is up to interpretation but like. dni if you're just here to say you hate bakugou for xyz reason or that he's irredeemable. also especially dni if you compare him to fucking endeavor yall bitches make me gag.
anyways thxs for the ask anon <33 sorry this is a kinda messy info dump lol
#shit self#asks#boku no hero academia#long post#bakugou katsuki#yes i am a bakugou kinnie shut the fuck up /lh#this is all /nm btw its just so much easier to make my long posts aggressive yk#this is just how i talk irl but Better Formatted#info dump#kinz#anti mitsuki#discourse#bangerz

I am in LOVE with your headcanons about the boys being omegas! Can you make some for Bakugou (poetic irony but also because he IS the mom friend), Shigaraki, Mirio and Kirishima?
NOTE: Spoilers, toxic behavior, and a lot of underrated omegas
A/N Of Course! I apologize if there are any errors since I wrote most of these at night, and shiggys turned into a pile of headcanons instead of a more story based one. It did inspire me to start a little something else though, so watch out for that in the future!
Katsuki Bakugo
Bakugo has a very pungent burned sugar smell due to his quirk, but his natural scent is more like cinnamon candy if you are able to convince him to let you take a sniff (good luck with that.)
Was told all of his life that nobody wants an aggressive Omega and that an Omega could never be the number one hero. Hearing that all of the time made him so irritated that he started taking scent blockers and suppressants so he can pass as an alpha, blaming the sweet scent on his nitroglycerin. Many didn’t think twice about it since it did make sense.
He still has his superiority complex, but he also knows that he lives up to the praise he had gotten all of his life. He worked hard and taught himself how to use his quirk as a child thanks to his dad really. Even though his mom kept his ass in check and made sure he was never lazy, it was his dad who sat down and taught him how to make and control his explosions.
His favorite memory is how his father would wear rubber cleaning gloves so he would sweat more in order to show Katsuki his acid sweat explosions. Katsuki laughing fondly before trying to mimic Masaru, only to end up flying back on his ass in a fit of giggles. It ended with both Son and Father getting scolded due to yet another noise complaint.
When he presented as an omega, he was initially destroyed because omegas had a stigma for being weak. He was NOT weak by any means and having people treat him different for being an omega male pissed him off. Middle school was especially tough after Izuku had loudly blurted support to Bakugo while revealing him to be an omega which only resulted in others treating him differently and some even bullying him about his dream to be a pro-hero. This only made him spite Izuku more, and since Deku had pointed out his one, massive flaw, he would do the same. He started bullying Izuku for being quirkless to get the attention away from him being an omega since being quirkless was much more uncommon than being an omega.
When the sludge monster attacked, his omega chirped loudly in distress and of course, fucking Deku had to come and save him. He never thanked the Beta, but instead yelled at him to remind him that he isn’t useless. He isn’t some weak ass Omega who can’t protect themselves. He was borderline in tears as he yelled at Izuku before storming off back to his house. Despite his parents attempting to comfort him, he just ended up nesting in his bedroom before sobbing himself to sleep. He had been a weak omega who couldn’t protect himself.
When he got into UA, he considered it a fresh start. Having been on suppressants and scent blockers for a long time now, this was his chance to shine for his power and not his role in society. When he found out Izuku was going as well, part of him felt pure rage and the other was disappointment. This was his chance to start completely over, but here was fucking Deku, a constant threat to his secret of being an omega.
He was originally shocked by the diversity of his class, not that he openly showed his shock. Omegas, betas, alphas, they were all there. Yeah, the omegas didn’t quite seem as adept for close range fighting, but they were still in the heroes course. It made him happy that there were so many in his class, even if his aggressive way of introducing himself was met with a lukewarm reaction. He did manage to find himself a nice group of friends that made him feel even safer. Sero, Mina, and Denki were Betas, and he felt completely comfortable around them. He didn’t feel threatened by them or belittled. You and Kirishima though, he was intimidated which only resulted in him being even more aggressive, yet neither alpha seemed to mind and often fought back playfully.
He naturally found himself growing closest to the two alphas and also found himself yelling into a pillow late at night at the thought of one of you being a potential mate. He honestly could see himself in a happy relationship with either person, yet he knew he shouldn’t focus on that. Even if his omega was whining for the approval of one of the Alphas, his desire to be a hero would come first. This didn’t stop him from sharing clothes with Kirishima, maybe even stealing some for his nest, and letting you wear his jacket any chance he got. If it meant that one of his alphas could scent the item, then he sure as hell was going to do it. No one ever mentioned it though until everybody got together for a movie night and Mina had taken a picture of Bakugo curled up between the two alphas. That’s when people started to tease which only made Bakugo feel insecure despite the Alphas scolding the others for not asking to take the picture, yet you both had the photo as your home screen of your phones.
After Bakugo had been captured, he found himself feeling lost as he once again had been a useless omega. Due to him missing his suppressants and scent blockers for a few days, his scent had started to shine through and he felt himself holding back his whimpering omega as all he wanted to do was chirp for help. The villains took notice and were shocked that the explosive man was an omega. Once Shigaraki had him released from his bonds, the man had made a nasty comment about him which resulted in Bakugo attempting to blow his face up. He was shocked to see that the man, who revealed himself to be a beta, was hardly phased by his attack before promptly reminding him that his offer still stood. The leagues’ arms were open for him, yet he continued to deny it. He was getting ready to fight once again when All Might broke in causing him to finally let out the loud chirps of distress he had been holding in.
After he was rescued and witnessed Allmights’ retirement, he promptly locked himself in his room. His parents could hear the distressed chirps coming from his room, yet were met with aggression the second they tried to help. Yet, when there was a knock on his bedroom door, he was shocked to see you peak inside.
He let you into his room, but you noticed how messy it all seemed. Katsuki was always a very clean person so this worried you, but that wasn’t your main concern as the blonds spiked hair seemed messier than usual, his red eyes were puffy from crying, and he seemed like he hadn’t been sleeping. You opened your arms as an offer but the other just scoffed and rolled his eyes, clearly trying to keep the alpha act he had before, but you were able to see past it and moved to hug him softly. He didn’t stop his omega from chirping out and slowly wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close as he fought off tears, only letting his omega chirp out more.
He did eventually break down in your arms, venting to you about him being weak, about AllMights retirement and about how he had been captured by the league. You had scented the other in hopes it would calm him down, but you just let him cry. He did calm down, sobs turning to chirps and whimpers after a while. He pulled away, yet could only lean back as you continued to hold him by his waist as he wiped his tears.
You instantly asked where his nest was, and he pointed in the corner of his room that was hidden behind his bed. You nodded and pulled him close to softly kiss his forehead before ushering him to the nest to lay down. He didn’t fight it and moved to collapse in the nest before hearing you leave the room. A few loud chirps came from his omega since he desired the Alphas company to keep him calm, but was caught off guard when he saw you walk back in holding a plastic bag and a tray. He huffed and moved over a bit so you could join him, but he noticed how you had taken off your shoes since the first time you had came in. You were careful walking into the nest which made his omega purr at the sight, and once you were in you sat the tray on his lap holding the bowl of spicy ramen.
“I remembered that you liked spicy food, so I decided to ask my mom how to make spicy ramen. I quickly figured out to not touch your face while making it.” The omega couldn’t help but grin since you remembered his favorite and actually made it for him. He moved to sip the broth before feeling himself purr louder thanks to the taste. He didn’t think twice before he began eating the ramen. It was moments later when he was finished when he turned his attention towards you, noticing how you searched through the bag.
You then pulled out a plush bear that looked obviously homemade. He didn’t realize it, but he had sat a little straighter due to his curiosity before you spoke. “Here. I made this too since I thought you’d sleep better with something that smells like me. I might have noticed how you sleep better when you’re snuggled against me during our movie nights.” He carefully took the bear and smiled, hugging it softly as you pulled out a hoodie he had let you borrow as well as one of Kirishimas’ shirts. He couldn’t help but feel cared for, and it didn’t feel like you were belittling him.
That’s when it hit him. “How did you know I was an Omega?” He asked only to notice you chuckle and rub the back of your neck. “I didn’t. All I knew was that this was stuff that I thought would comfort you. Your dynamic really didn’t matter much to me Katsu. When I grabbed this, All I could think of was the fact that you were most likely struggling, You weren’t going to show weakness, and I wanted to help you in any way I could. You being an Omega had nothing to do with it.” He felt himself blush before he sighed softly. That’s when you spoke again. “I uh...was planning on courting you either way. Alpha, beta, or Omega. It doesn’t matter since I was honestly more interested in you.”
He felt his cheeks heating up before he looked down, taking in the fact that you went out of your way to make him a bear, scent his hoodie, make his favorite food, and even stole one of Kirishimas’ shirts just for him. You took his silence as rejection and just sighed. “I know you aren’t looking, really, but I just wanted to let you know I admire you so much and you inspire me to strive to be better. A better student, a better friend, and a better hero. No matter what, Katsuki, You make me want to be better. So I decided why not and start off by making sure you were okay?”
That was the last hit his Omega needed to accept the courting. His omega had claimed you, even if he were to disagree. Yet he didn’t disagree. He ended up moving closer to you and kissing your cheek softly. When you burst into a deep red blush, he just chuckled a bit. “Thanks...I really appreciate that.”
You both ended up snuggling in his nest until his dad knocked on the door to tell his son that his teachers were there and they needed to talk to him. You had decided that it was most likely a good time for you to leave, but you felt Bakugo squeeze your hand before he told his dad he would be out in a moment. After his dad left, he moved to kiss your cheek once again before asking you about courting.
“You’d have to be patient with me, because I will become the number one hero. Nothing is going to stop me, so if you want to be with me, you do know that you’d have to be patient right?” “Of course, Bakugo. I want to watch you become the number one, so if our relationship isn’t traditional, then I don’t mind.” He smiled at your words before feeling himself getting pulled into a hug. He groaned and tried to push you away even if he didn’t want you to let go. You luckily knew him well and just fought back until he stopped resisting.
“If you think that you can deal with me, then I don’t see why I couldn’t go on a couple of dates with you…” He mumbled into your shoulder as his arms wrapped around you slowly. He wasn’t surprised to hear you agree, but you kissing his cheek back forced his cheeks to burn like yours had. He threw some swears at you and flicked your head before huffing while kicking you out of his room. You only chuckled as you left, bowing to your teachers, thanking the Bakugos’ and quickly leaving their house. His parents could smell you on him, and of course he was back to his argumentative self, but they were just happy he was feeling better.
Tomura Shigaraki
(More headcanon styled cause DAMN I love toxic, Omega, Shiggy. Let’s be real though, he wouldn’t be as lovable as people believe. Keep an eye out for more about him though)
Let’s just get one thing straight, never walk into his bedroom. If he were to ever get an Alpha, they would rather go crazy with the empty cans of soda, sticky floors, stained sheets, and random snacks that have been abandoned long ago. He is a messy ass omega that breaks a ton of stereotypes.
His scent is also just a bit...off. It isn’t sweet like the majority of Omegas, but can be described as the scent of an abandoned bakery? It really depends on his mood. If he is in a more content mood, he just smells like bread that had been left on the counter instead of properly put away. If he is in a bad mood, it smells like molded sweets. If he is happy, it smells like fresh baked goods. He is kind of insecure about his scent honestly, but then again he doesn’t have the time to look for a mate anyway.
The most likely to become almost Yandere-like over somebody he deems is his. Like seriously, if you walk into the hideout and catch the omegas’ attention, be prepared. He will try to act like he isn’t interested, yet hangs onto every word you say. If he sees you flirting with somebody, even Toga or Dabi, you better be ready to feel the man grab your arm and pull you away. He will threaten you by pressing his hand to your neck while whispering in your ear about how he wants you to play nice, but not too nice since he should be the only one who should be able to flirt with you.
Also would force you to mate with him if you’re unwilling. He will drag you into his room after a stressful, unsuccessful mission before shoving you down on his messy nest while threatening to use his quirk on you unless you mark him and make him yours. For him, it’s a way to control you as well as a way to comfort himself.
Pups? Oh you’re funny. That man is on suppressants and he refuses to help with your ruts. The most he will do is toss a shirt of his at you before telling you to fix it yourself. If he does go through a heat due to lack of suppressants, forgetfulness, or when he feels you trying to get distant with him, all of your attention better be on him. This is also maybe when he is the most vulnerable with you since he will be a whining mess.
At times it can feel as if he is only using you, and he is, but he also sees you as his toy. Something similar to what a child would use to comfort them when they are stressed or afraid, something to play with when he is bored, and something that is his. He will manipulate you, use you, scare you and love you in his own sick way.
If you ever try to fight him??? My god. This omega can take a hit. Need I remind you that he took one of Bakugos’ blasts to the face and he hardly reacted to it? He fought All Might and wasn’t injured, and he even managed to take out Aizawas’ elbow. You may be an alpha, but fighting him is suicide. Luckily, he adores you so he might just spare his favorite pawn.
Mirio Togata
Mirio had always been an omega that broke boundaries. Ever since he was a child, he had exceeded expectations and had caught the attention of a wide variety of people which always seemed to benefit him in wonderful ways. Between his lively personality and the scent of sunflowers that radiated from him, he never failed to catch an eye.
He had been getting courting requests since his first year, but he never had accepted any of them. He would claim that he had other goals that he wanted to reach before even considering courting, and even his Omega was content with his choices. That was until he had met you.
You were a transfer student that Sir Nighteye had decided would understudy with Mirio and Izuku. You had managed to impress him with your personality as well as your strengths and knowledge. Besides, he knew that you would play a special role after you had agreed to him using his quirk on you.
You had met Mirio when he had appeared to work for the day. Nighteye had watched you introduce yourself with ease and smiled a little at how you had instantly hit it off with Mirio, affectionate omega instantly chatting a storm with the new alpha before Nighteye reminded you both that there was work that needed to be done.
After your first day, you instantly exchanged numbers with Mirio after he suggested that you both should get to know each other better. You agreed and quickly made plans to hang out after class the next day before parting ways to go home,
The next day, you ran to UA to meet up with Mirio after his classes. He was quick to greet you outside of the school and instantly put his arm around your waist. Even if he was an Omega that didn’t know you well, he didn’t hesitate to be affectionate since he didn’t see you as a threat. If Nighteye trusted you, then so did he.
You both chatted as you walked to a nearby park and surprisingly, you were as affectionate with him as he was with you. It made his omega perk up when he felt your hand grab his, pulling him to the swings or when you slide your hand across his lower back to wrap around his waist when you both walked alongside the little pond, but he tried to keep himself from getting too hyper from the attention.
You both walked and played in the park for a while, sharing stories about everything that crossed your minds. He learned about your dreams as, and you learned about his. He couldn’t help but admire the sparkle in your eyes as you talked about your dreams since your passion was on full display.
As the sun began to set, you suggested a small hole in the wall diner that was your favorite, which he promptly agreed to. He didn’t even realize how much time you both had spent together until a slight cool breeze went by, temperature lowering as the sun retreated for the day.
You both shared some ramen at the cafe and enjoyed the company while holding hands and playfully kicking each other under the table. This became a weekly thing, going out to play at the playground before sharing some ramen together before parting ways only to send silly snapchats til one of you had to study or sleep.
This greatly improved your relationship as well as teamwork since you both now trusted each other and knew how your quirks worked. This caused new battle tactics as well as trust in the others quick thinking when something needed a quick answer. Nighteye was extremely pleased to see how you both had grown, instantly able to compare it to how he had once been with All Might.
After Izuku had joined the team, you three were inseparable during your patrols. Izuku naturally learned a lot while around you both, but everything came to a head when you three were stopped by Kai Chisaki and a little girl. Izuku naturally wanted to act, but your hand on his shoulder stopped him as you let Mirio do the talking. After you all let them go, you felt Mirios’ hand slip into yours on the way back. Even if he wouldn’t express it out loud, you knew he was worried that he made the wrong decision.
The next day you got a text asking if you would please come to his room. You had no idea why, but you quickly took notice of how his text seemed more distressed. You had run by the diner, got ramen to go, and ran to the dorms after hitting a convenience store. When you walked into the dorms, you quickly greeted Tamaki who was in the kitchen before rushing to Mirios’ door. You knocked before walking in only to notice that the man was chirping sadly in an unusually large nest. You frowned and sat the bag on the desk before taking off your shoes to join Mirio, spooning him and grabbing his hand in a small attempt to comfort the distressed man.
He never nested unless something was stressing him, like a big test or big task from Nighteye, but this nest was nothing like those. Those nests were meticulous and neat, always fairly small since he just needed a bit of comfort. This seemed like he threw it together in a hurry. Clothes from his closet were tossed messily over tons of blankets. Pillows were thrown everywhere, and he refused to let go of the large elephant you had won him at the local fair.
You mumbled little things in his ear in hopes that it would comfort him while keeping his body as close to yours as possible. You had noticed how his scent had shifted into one that rivaled the smell of a skunk, yet all Mirio could smell was your scent since your body had gone into overdrive to create a comforting hormone. After about 5 minutes, the blond had rolled over and hugged your waist, shoving his nose into your scent gland since it seemed to calm his chirping omega.
He soon spilled about Eri and what Overhaul had been doing to the poor girl. You felt your heart sink as you processed the information, but your attention turned to the omega clinging to you, chirping and venting about how he felt like this was his fault. You quickly pushed him back into your neck to get him to calm back down before explaining that this wasn’t his fault. All that you both could do now was try to help the others in any way you could, but calming himself down was the priority. He nodded and you felt how his fingers clutched your shirt as if you would disappear, and your Alpha whined at how upset the other was.
When Mirio had finally calmed down, you carefully sat him up and kissed his tears away before carefully pulling him to the edge of the nest. “Mirio, darling, Can you go shower for me? You always feel better after a shower. While you do that, I’ll scent some clothes of yours really well so you can rest comfortably. I brought you ramen and snacks too, so when you come out we can snuggle and maybe watch a comedy show?” You knew him so well that it almost made him tear up again. Instead of replying, he carefully cupped your cheeks and kissed your lips. He wasn’t surprised when he felt you kiss back, but the smile you had on your face after made his heart flutter a bit. You chuckled and kissed his head. “Come on, Omega. We need to get you happy so we can be at our best to help.” He crooned when you called him Omega and nodded, slowly getting out of the messy nest to do as you asked.
When he had come out of the shower, he was met with a neatly folded pile of clothes on the bathroom sink. He put them on and smiled at how they smelled like you before walking out to see you had logged into your Netflix so he could pick what you watched before finding you sitting at his desk with two bowls of noodles and a big grin. “You feelin’ better?” He nodded and looked over at the nest before sighing. “Gosh...I guess I got carried away.” “You were distraught, baby. You needed comfort and did what you needed to.”
He ended up abandoning you and the food to tidy up the messy nest since it was bugging him a bit. You watched happily as he tucked things in, draped blankets over, and asked you to scent certain items before placing it where he wanted. When he finished, he plopped down and made grabby hands for the noodles. You only chuckled when he gave puppy dog eyes before moving to hand him the bowl while sitting beside him, an added bonus of a kiss on the cheek which only made the man blush a bit.
Somewhere along the way, your Alpha and his Omega had decided to claim each other, yet neither of you had noticed until that day. How you took care of him and knew exactly what would help. How you climbed into his nest like he had let you time and time again, and how those kisses were different from the ones from before. His kiss on your lips seemed to make you both finally realize what had been decided for you long ago. He was yours, and you were his.
It never was clarified out loud since you both just knew. After you ate, he snuggled under your arm as you both watched the stand up show, chuckling at the jokes while you played with his hair. Occasionally, he would look up at you only to be met with a kiss on the head or a sweet grin in return. If you weren’t looking back at him, he would kiss your jaw to get your attention, and when you did look at him, he would steal a quick kiss. One would lead to two, two would lead to five. Eventually, you both abandoned the show to share sweet kisses. Mirio would occasionally mumble a corny joke against your lips only to get you to laugh before stealing another kiss.
Sure, he never planned on finding a mate so soon, but he was sure glad he found you.
Eijiro Kirishima
(I’m shocked by the lack of Omega Kiri tbh)
Oh boy was Kirishima shy about the fact that he was an Omega. In his world, the one where being manly was admirable, he was shy about being an Omega male as they were often seen as shameful by many. God knows how many time he had heard the term “Puppypooper” when referring to omega males. It was just so...humiliating to him.
When he decided to intern under fatgum, he had no idea that he would be working alongside Tamaki as well as you. He quickly introduced himself and found out that you were an alpha from a different school, but Fatgum had scouted you out. He was a little intimidated, but found himself adoring you in a matter of minutes. You were clearly attentive and frequently reminded Kiri not to overdo it with his quirk since he could be destructive towards himself.
You both instantly clicked and during your breaks at the Fatgum agency, would frequently share food, or spar outside. Tamaki was often too shy to accept your offers, but you always reminded him that he could join at any time. One day while sparring, you caught Kirishima off guard and pinned him on the ground, chuckling as you pointed out his error and how you were able to exploit it. He choked back a chirp from his omega, but you could tell something was up. Instead of making him fight to break free, you helped him up and ruffled his red hair, noticing how his roots were starting to turn black once again. “Hey Kiri, you should let me dye your hair for you sometime. You usually do good at it, but last time you missed a spot in the back. Is that why you wore your headband for a bit?”
The omega huffed a little when you read him like a book before nodding. Even if it made him insecure, his omega perked up after he noticed your attentiveness to him. “Yeah...Bakugo really isn’t the best at helping dye hair. He sorta missed a couple of spots and I knew that he would be upset with himself for missing them.” You grinned and moved closer. “My mom used to dye my hair tons of crazy colors when I was younger. I bet I could dye yours and trim it too?” His omega purred at the idea of your hands in his hair, but he kept it suppressed. “Seriously? You’d do that for me?” You instantly nodded. “Of course! I need my manly man to look as confident as ever, and you tend to get bashful when your roots start to show.” You teased a little which made him whine before swatting at your hand that played with a section of a spike. “Well...If you’d do that for me, how about tomorrow since we don’t have class? You can do it in my dorm room so we don’t have people freaking out over you..” he scratched at the back of his neck and huffed, knowing that Mina, Sero, and Denki would surely try to embarrass him. “Sure. That sounds good to me! Will about 3 work? So I have enough time to get some supplies gathered up?” He grinned a bit and nodded.
The next day, Kirishima had cleaned up his room and made sure it looked nice. Putting the punching bag in the corner of his room, putting away books and papers he had thrown everywhere, and cleaning up his bed that held the smallest of nests possible. He really didn’t want to seem like a messy omega, hell even an omega at all. He huffed softly before feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, a message that you were here.
He quickly ran down to meet up with you, noticing how you carried multiple bags. “I didn’t expect this much.” You shrugged as he moved to take two of the bags. “Well I made some bento boxes for us cause I assumed you would like a snack sometime during the haircut.” He bit the inside of his cheek gently before nodding. “That would be amazing.”
When you got inside, he managed to sneak you away from everybody with ease. He didn’t start pulling you until he heard a familiar alpha lecturing Izuku down the hall. That’s when he decided to make a run for it with you. Once you were both in his room, you couldn’t help but laugh. “Well that was an adventure!” he moved to sit the bags on his desk before sighing. “Iida would die if he found out an omega snuck an alpha into his room.” He replied before realizing what he said. “Shit-” He looked down and sighed before turning back to you. “You...do know I’m an omega, right?” “Of course I do Eiji. Fatgum lectured me on not scaring the omegas before you and Tama walked in.” He blushed a little hearing that before sighing. “I wish people wouldn’t underestimate me cause I’m an omega. Like seriously, just because you’re an alpha doesn’t mean that I’d be afraid of you.” His shoulders slouched and you could tell he was feeling down.
You slowly walked over and hugged him from behind. “Kiri,” Your voice made his omega stand at attention, looking forward to any word you said. “You are one manly omega. I mean that in the best ways too, like remember when you made your debut? You went unbreakable and saved a whole bunch of people? That was cool as hell.” He couldn’t help but purr as you spoke, leaning back in your embrace before sighing. “But I’m still an omega-” “And I’m just an alpha. Just cause you’re an omega doesn’t mean anything.” You took his hand before turning him around, cupping his cheeks in your hands so he looked at you. “You are seriously one of the most badass heroes I’ve ever seen. I think you may even be cooler than Crimson riot.” His eyes widened, his cheeks flushed and he looked away. “Oh hush. You’re just saying that to make me feel better.” He pulled away before you took his hand. “Well, is it?” He stopped for a moment and thought about it. You, an alpha, thought he could be cooler than Crimson Riot. He started to smile before sighing. “Yeah...It is.” You just smiled and moved to hug him. “Good. Now let me wash your hair. God knows how much shit you put in it.”
Next thing he knew, his head was leaned back into his bathroom sink as your fingers massaged his scalp. He didn’t hold back his loud, content, purrs as your fingers untangled the knots and washed out the gel he used. You wouldn’t admit it out loud, but you might’ve spent a while just playing with the omegas hair to enjoy his purrs that made your Alpha howl in joy. After you finished washing his hair, you continued to play with his hair while cutting it before you bleached any missed spots. Then you moved to the roots, explaining to him that they will bleach quickly due to the scalp being warm, and that you never start with the scalp. By the time you were finished, his roots were unnoticeable and his hair was cut the length he loved it to be.
His omega crooned at how well he looked and instantly wanted to attack the alpha with affection, but Kiri just smiled and moved to hug you softly. “Thanks for helping. I feel a lot better with this fixed. You hugged him back, which made him purr one more time before snuggling against your neck to scent you. You hadn’t noticed it before, but maybe that was just because Kirishimas’ scent was so natural. It was refreshing, like outdoors after it rained. The kind of smell that you can't help but relax around and take one more deep breath. He noticed how you instantly returned back the affection and scented him as well. He blushed dark and pulled away to quickly move to grab the food. “H-Hey we forgot about these!” He said rather loudly which made you chuckle a bit. “Well I guess we better eat them then.”
He noticed how his box had been full of steak, cooked just how he liked it, and some amazing fried rice. After he had swallowed some of the steak, his omega purred once more. It made him bashful knowing that his Omega was being so loud, but you didn’t seem to mind. He continued to eat, occasionally glancing over at you to see you happily eating too. “Um...I have a question?” He started as he looked down at the box. “W-Would you ever be open to courting?” He asked without thinking it through. When he looked up, your eyes were wide and your cheeks were pink.
His omega started to panic and a small whimper came from him which made you jump. “H-Hey wait I just was caught off guard please don’t be sad.” He huffed and pushed you away when you tried to hug him. “Don’t. I’m not some weak omega who needs to be comforted by an alpha.” He said sharply, more to himself than to you. Yet when he looked back at you and saw the hurt in your eyes, he felt guilty. “I...I wasn’t trying to belittle you. I just thought you took my shock as a bad thing and wanted to hug you..” You spoke before looking down at your hands. “A-and I guess I kinda...Got my hopes up.” You chuckled and moved to play with your hair. “I thought you were scenting me and...I kinda was hopeful, but when you asked that I kinda just...Shut down for a sec.”
He felt his omega whine again, clawing at his chest to try to get him to comfort you, but he didn’t move. “I’m...so sorry.” he said softly as you shook your head. “No! No, No. Don’t be sorry Kiri, I was being stupid and I shouldn’t have acted-” “I like you. A lot. I have ever since you helped me out after my debut. You have no idea how much I wanted to just drown in your scent when you hugged me that day.” He spoke quickly and moved closer. “I know I’m just an omega, and I have no idea on what to do for courting, but I really just...Fuck I want you.” He moved to grab your hands softly. “Alpha, I want you to be mine.”
It took you a moment to process what he said, and his Omega was whimpering loudly and clawing at his chest for an answer. He got it when you slowly started to move, taking his wrist before moving to rub it against your neck. He was confused as to why his omega was howling with joy until it finally hit him. You were rubbing his scent on your neck with the gland on his wrist, a small smile on your face as you could smell his scent getting stronger. He smiled bright and almost pounced on you, rubbing his scent gland against yours properly while hugging you tight. You laughed and moved to rub his hips, a weak spot of his that caused him to melt and purr against your neck, nose snuggling closer to inhale more of your scent. He became putty in your arms, omega purring loudly once again at the acceptance. He sighed softly before moving to pull away from your neck to pepper your jaw with soft kisses, sharp teeth grazing a spot or two that made you gasp. He just chuckled before moving to kiss your lips, hesitant and inexperienced, but obviously happy. When he pulled away, he pecked your nose again before getting off of you. “I love you, Alpha.” He said as you sat up, fixing your hair that Eijiro had his hands buried in moments before. “I love you too, my manly omega.” You moved to sit beside him before kissing a spot on his shoulder, him instantly weakening before moving to steal another kiss from you.
After you had finally convinced the omega to eat the rest of the food instead of giving kisses, he happily laid his head in your lap while you played with his hair. “Hey omega?” He simply hummed, not even bothering to open his eyes. “Don't listen to them anymore, alright? Omegas can be stronger than any Alpha and you are the living proof of that.”
Cue his cheeks getting red once more before he moved to steal another kiss from you, so happy that he could say you were right, and he was yours.
