Don't Cry For Me Princess

Logan Howlett (2017) x Wife Reader

I watched Logan for the very first time, and I have a lot of feelings since this man owns my heart and is all I can think about, so I wrote this where I'm basically cleaning the blood off my husband. This is very self-indulgent 🩷

You were asleep in your bed, not as deeply as you normally did since you were waiting for your husband's return. At around half 1 in the morning, you awoke to grunting coming from the bathroom.

Logan had just got back home from a job. He limped into the bathroom since it was late at night, he tried not to wake you up.

You got out of bed walking barefoot to the bathroom. Pushing the door open, you see him hunched over the sink as bullets fall out his chest and arms.

"Logan, what happened to you?" Your voice filled with worry as you approached him checking the wounds.

"I'm alright bub, just some guys trying to steal the fucking wheel lugs. I tried to tell them that the plating would flake off, but I got shot before I could finish. Obviously, I got up, but then I got the shit kicked outta me, and I ended up killing most of them."

Your eyes filled with tears, but only one of them fell. Grabbing a cloth, you run it under warm water before saying "here let me clean you up." You start to clean the blood off before waiting for a reply.

"Hey." Lifting your chin up with his finger. You stop wiping for a second. "Don't cry for me princess. I'll be fine, these will heal eventually."

You let out a shaky breath. "I know Logan, but you need to be more careful. You don't heal as quickly as you used to." You continued to wipe off the blood. "Besides, this blood isn't going to clean it's self."

Logan let out a low chuckle. "That's very true darlin."

Once you finish, you throw the bloody cloth in the sink and take your lover's hand. "Come on baby, let's go to bed"
