☁️Stardew Valley Halloween Headcanons☁️

Penny:

Costume: Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz

Penny is the type of person who gives out healthy Halloween candy; the only time that changes is if Vincent and Jas beg her enough.

Penny is a huge fan of horror!

She chaperons Jas and Vincent while they Trick or Treat.

Haley:

Costume: Elle Woods

For pretty much every single year since Haley turned 16, she's thrown massive Halloween parties that are actually pretty popular.

Her favorite Halloween candy is Skittles.

Emily always tries to coerce her to wear matching costumes, but Haley always refuses since she finds it "too corny." She'll never actually say it, but she really wants to wear matching costumes with Emily.

Maru:

Costume: Mary Poppins

Maru is never prepared for Halloween and always ends up getting her costume together last minute.

Maru's favorite holiday is Halloween.

When she and Sebastian were little, he would tell her scary stories that would end up in her not being able to sleep and him having to comfort her.

Emily:

Costume: Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus

Like Penny, she is also kind of a health nut when it comes to Halloween candy, but she is more lenient, giving out one healthy snack and one full-sized candy bar.

Emily and Sandy talked all night for about a month trying to come to an agreement on what kind of costumes to wear. It took the two forever before they finally agreed on doing the Sanderson sisters.

By far, she is the best Halloween decorated and will have her and Haley's house decked out each year.

Abigal:

Costume: Elphaba from Wicked

Halloween is by far Abigal's favorite holiday, it's in her favorite season and it matches her vibe completely, what more could you want?

She tried to genuinely make a Halloween costume from scratch once after learning how to from Emily and her fingers are still hurting from how many times she ended up poking herself with the needle.

She cringes so hard every year when she sees her parents matching costumes...

Leah:

Costume: Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas

Leah had her costume planned since the previous Halloween and got Emily to help make it.

She makes all her Halloween decor from scratch; it usually ends up scarier than anything you can find in a store.

Her favorite Halloween movies are the super obscure ones that she's collected from various garage sales.

Alex:

Costume: Ken from Barbie

Alex doesn't hate Halloween, but he also isn't the biggest fan of it.

Haley picked out matching costumes for them but ended up bailing last minute so he just had to be Ken alone.

Despite not being the biggest Halloween fan, he is the master at trading his bad candy for good candy. No one knows how he does it, but he somehow practically scams everyone and gets a ton of candy at the end of the night. (Sam is so fed up with it and yet he gets tricked every single time.)

Elliott:

Costume: Vampire

Poor guy can't think of a creative Halloween costume to save his life... He also can't afford any new ones anyway-

Elliott is actually super vulnerable to jumpscares, like, full running to a different room action coming from him.

He got curious one year about the origins of Halloween and ended up going down a rabbit hole. He now knows way too many "fun facts" about the holiday.

Harvey:

Costume: Fred Jones from Scooby-Doo

Harvey is the type to give toothbrushes out for Halloween, I don't make the rules.

And yet, he has such a sweet tooth that he gets so embarrassed about it if anyone brings it up.

He practically never wears any spooky costumes since he is super bad with horror himself...

Sam:

Costume: Jake from Adventure Time

Pestered Sebastian for months to do Jake and Finn for Halloween and was literally over the moon when Sebastian finally caved. He also tried to get Abigal to be BMO or Marceline but she wouldn't budge.

He always ends up giving all his Halloween candy to Jas and Vincent for no reason other than he feels like it's the right thing to do.

Sam will try to do every single myth/challenge on the day of Halloween.

Sebastian:

Costume: Finn from Adventure Time

He doesn't even know how he got roped up by Sam to do a costume that wasn't anything remotely horror-related...

Sebastian is very desensitized to horror, rarely anything scares him which is basically an invitation for Abigal and Sam to try everything in their power to get a scare out of him.

Maru makes him watch horror movies with her, which he acts like he hates but actually doesn't mind.

Shane:

Costume: Joel from The Last Of Us (got the idea from Sam)

Shane likes to take Jas Trick or Treating for a little while before he lets Penny do it and it's honestly his favorite thing in the world.

Shane is the type of person to be all cynical about the holiday and say things like, "It's just a day where companies make you buy their terrible candy for too much money." And on some level, he does mean that, but he can't stop himself from staring at all the Halloween decorations around people's houses in wonder.

He, for god knows what reason, really enjoys pumpkin-flavored stuff, like, drinks, snacks, etc.

Sandy:

Costume: Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus

She is such a sucker for any Halloween-themed music, she loves listening to it year-round.

Sandy is unbelievably good at spooky people, she just has this way of making everything seem super unsettling and it really freaks people out.

Her favorite candy is any type of gum, not only does she just find it delicious, but it also helps her concentrate when filling out paperwork and such.

𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘹－ he’s such a boy dad. He’d be the type to want a lot of boys but end up with a little boy and then a girl right after.

- he’s REALLY disconnected during the pregnancy with the girl. When you finally get it out of him of why he says he just doesn’t think he can relate to her as much as he can with a boy.

- you convinced him to read some parenting books. He did, while doing his daily crunches.

-slowly warmed up to the idea..

-he was her favourite parent. 100%.

-he let his nails get painted, face masks, little rainbow beaded bracelets.

-Loves doing family hikes, runs, gridball games, all that physical activity stuff.

- his kids love him so much.

Shane- girl dad. I really can’t see him having a boy.

- he’s very loving and doting. All of her drawings are on the fridge and honestly they’re completely covering it to the point you can’t even see the silver anymore

-Had a problem with sending her to school.

- he loves his little buddy. She helps with his chickens and they have fun. Why would he ever want her away for hours every day?

- when she finally got to her first day of kindergarten. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and realised that it wasn’t that bad and stopped worrying.

- Harvey stays away from insects but definitely acts like he isn’t scared of them.

- the kid has a bug watch where he can put them in a little watch and carry them around.

- such a health nut with his son. No extra sweets, or more juice. Bundles him up during winter. Maybe a little overboard he just loves his little boy so much:(.

Elliot - i see him being a parent to both? He has very polite kids and they speak fresh out of the 1800s. Thanks to him. But they’re very picky towards everything.

- his daughter wears those frilly white socks and cute little ribbons in her hair all the time (which is Elliot’s hair colour.)

- his son wears his hair slicked back and those black shoes.

- Elliot picks his kids outfits out. Does his daughter’s hair while she eats breakfast and kicks her feet.

-Elliot reads his kids to sleep, has a designated reading nook in each of their rooms. Has little notebooks that they write about their day in.

- Mentions his kids in his book. In the dedication before the story, in the “about the author” section, little side characters like his kids, everywhere.

Wizard- he’s really awkward as a dad. But he tries!

- a boy and girl dad, he has no preference.

- can’t punish his kids for the life of him, he just can’t, y/n, you do it.

- his kids aren’t allowed to use magic to clean their rooms / do chores but if they do he isn’t gonna tell 😭.

- both of his kids are fishing, they both have their own mini poles. His daughters has her name in pink sparkles and princesses on it.

- his sons has little dinosaurs on it with his name in bold green print.

- I’m leaning more towards Willy’s daughter loving animals, fish included, so she breaks down whenever a fish dies or gets hurt. At a point Willy has to lie about the fish they have for dinner.

- “this fish? Oh no baby this fish was already dead! It’s not one of the ones I caught today!” Daughter - :)

- hates sending his kids off to school. “Why do they need it? They can learn how to fish and own the store?” Is his line 24/7 every morning before school.

- Willy and ur kids will gang up on you and they’ll fake sick if they promise Willy they’ll go fishing (🙄).

Sam- he’s the fun parent. Again, not a girl or boy dad.

- she finds her dads work so interesting; sits there and watches her daddy work.

- he can’t really express his love for his girl, so he does it with tiny things like randomly reading to her, or sometimes giving her a lil forehead kiss just cuz.

- she’s obsessed with those huge puffy dresses from the Rocco era. She has a whole clothing rack just for those type of styled dresses.

- tries his absolute best to engage in whatever your son likes.

What Partner Pokémon I think each Stardew Valley Bachelor/ette would have

I had so much fun making my cooking for the bachelors posts, that I couldn’t help but combine Stardew valley with another thing I absolutely love, Pokémon! I have been playing Pokémon since I was 8-9 and I’ve been enamored ever since.

!First Things First! Just like last time I’ll be going based off the vibes of our contestants, as with my last post this isn’t about favorites or dislikes, there will be bias on this because, like before, it’s my post you silly goose! Feel free to share what you think each person would have in the comments! Without further ado

!if anyone does any art of these please tag me! Not because I own any of this but because I want to see you creative people do such creative things!

Abigail: The resident goth of Pelican Town would seem easy at first glance, and while the gothita line appeals to me in theory, I happen to love making things difficult for myself, so I’ll go with the less obvious choice of Mismageous! Mismageous fits Abigail’s vibes well on its own, but if you factor in the theory that Abigail is The Wizards daughter, the witch Pokémon starts to feel a little more appropriate

Alex: Again there is the obvious choice of Machamp, but I think not only is that too obvious, but I also think there’s a better answer, one that fits Alex more, Riolu. The reason I have is simple, discipline. Riolu trains so hard to get better, master the power of its aura, and Alex does the same. He trains daily with push ups and working out, clearly trying to outdo himself every single day. That’s the type of discipline Riolu would want in a trainer.

Elliott: The most recent applicant of the Tortured Poets Department needs a pal that fits his constant state of the dramatic. Oshawatt in the anime is shown to a big dramatic baby, and the best part, Elliott lives at the beach, this duo of Shakespearian sea dwellers would pair like Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Emily: If you saw my last post you know Emily is the only person I’ve romanced so far, and while that remains true, last time I made a post like this I was confident in my choice for her, this time I don’t feel the same confidence. I couldn’t find any bird Pokémon that fit her energy, and short of copy pasting my favorite Pokémon (Chikorita), I couldn’t think of too much. My final verdict was Meditite. The easy way out sometimes is the only way out, and to this levitating little lad I concede defeat. They’re perfect, meditating together in perfect harmony.

Haley: As I said last time, Haley is growing on me, and with that in mind, I had to think how she’d think. What better partner, than a model for her photography. For Haley I chose, not Milotic, but instead Flebebe. The queen of the flower festival along with the flower fairy could absolutely pair so well together, and come on, think of the photos!

Harvey: Don’t say Chansey..don’t say Chansey..don’t say…oh whatever. Chansey just fits too well. Harvey is an awkward yet caring and healing nerd. Chansey is a caring healer. If Yoba didn’t want PB&J sandwiches, he shouldn’t have made them pair so well.

Leah: The artist of Pelican Town seems to go under the radar, at least in my play throughs, but I promise soon I’ll change that! While I could go Smeargle I still feel dirty about Harvey’s Pokémon, so I need to think outside the box, and I think Ludicolo could work for two reasons, admittedly not great reasons. The first, his little hat could be used to hold things while Leah works on her newest project. The second and in my opinion more valid reason is that Ludicolo could help Leah remember to relax, and not stress about every single thing. Art is hard.

Maru: Some may say this is the easy way out, but I think it’s clever. Instead of a Pokémon like Klink or Magnemite, my choice for our inventor is Rotom. The little ghost possesses machines and helps them come to life, is there anything more Maru wants? Okay, maybe for her dad to not be right next to her every second of every day but Rotom could help with that too…⚡️⚡️⚡️

Penny: The literary love interest is another one that kind of stumps me, but I think I cracked the code. Munna is my pick for Penny because of its ability to eat and help Penny experience dreams, helping an imaginative character escape the life she’s stuck in could absolutely give Penny and Munna purpose.

Sam: There isn’t a wrong answer for Sam, but for the thrill ride lover, my pick would be Charizard because of two reasons. It can fly, and also, look at Sam and tell me he wouldn’t love a flaming dragon.

Sebastian: Left out, out of place, doesn’t feel like they fit in or that their voice matters, you thought of one of two things. Sebastian or Mimikyu. Together these two could help each other find their voice, or in theory be at least a little less lonely.

Shane: In my last post I admitted I don’t like Shane. I’m happy to admit that’s not completely the case anymore based off what I learned about him and Jas, but this post isn’t about my feelings toward the characters, y’all wouldn’t read that. (Would you?) this is about partner Pokémon, and for Shane I was stumped, until I remembered the main arc of Shane. He needs a purpose. What better purpose than a Purrloin. My original choice was Lillipup but Purrloin simply fit the vibes better

Adding a little more description that I have thought out in my head. Some is canon from MCU/comics and some is the twist I want to put on the character for my portrayals*.

Agent ???. ( I still have no name for him ) former SHIELD agent. best friend of Sharon Carter. or so he likes to claim. computer genius. skinny white boy. flirt. bisexual. he's annoying but really a sweetheart. not big on field work. but he can hack.

( ? (name undecided) is a former agent of SHIELD now mini-Tony Stark minus the suit and superhero status. Coming up through the academy he somehow befriended a woman by the name of Sharon Carter when they were put on an undercover assignment together. He was mostly just the support but made a few appearances in his undercover roll when needed to support Sharon aka 'Emily'.

A bit of a nerdy genius all he has ever wanted was to feel wanted and valuable. He was loyal to SHIELD until it fell thanks to HYDRA infiltrating and finally revealing themselves. With the fall of SHIELD, he used his knowledge to freelance and made a name for himself. He has been known to take on projects to help the likes of former SHIELD-loyal agents. He is very anti-HYDRA. )

Alex. "Dove". literature professor. musician. Inhuman. pain manipulator. Guatamalan/naturalized American.

( Original mini description that may be tweaked: Alex received his nickname of Dove from his mother in what almost feels like a different time. She used to call him her little pacifist. Now a lot older ( and not necessarily a whole lot wiser ) he still holds that peace should be tried before war.

After terrogenesis, Alex discovered he now has the power to cause pain in others. It goes against a lot of what his parents taught him growing up and what he believes in...but he isn't an idiot. Sometimes if you have a gun in your face or pointed at a loved one you need to act. So as much as he hates his powers he does try and avoid it if at all possible. Known for his aversion to violence many have begun calling him the Dove. )

Steve Rogers. captain america. the first avenger. the little guy. the man out of time.

Amora of Asgard. The Enchantress. asgardian. formerly exiled to Midgard by the Allfather. seductress. intelligent.

( Parentage unknown. While still in adolescence, she ran away to the land of the Norns and apprenticed herself to Karnilla, one of the most powerful sorceresses in all the Asgardian dimension. There she studied all the basic arts of Asgardian magic until Karnilla expelled her for being too undisciplined. She picked up further mystical skills from seducing other Asgardian mages and wizards. In time, Amora became one of the more powerful magic-wielders in Asgard, with her magical arsenal focused on (but not limited to) charming and mind-controlling people. Her by-then well-renowned beauty did not hinder in this.

Amora has always had an obsession with Thor. She has been used as a weapon by the Allfather to try and distract Thor from his love of the human, Jane Foster. But she has also done things unsanctioned by the royalty of Asgard. During one of her many attempts to make the God of Thunder hers she is caught and sentenced by the Allfather to Midgard. While there she took up the name of Sylvie Lushton. Stripped of her powers she is/was stuck in the realm until Thor is banished as well. I’m not one to rush how quick time goes but I’ve been so excited to finally upload these illustrations. Coming up with the costumes was so much fun too aha! (Fun fact, all of this started because I wanted to make a ‘Goldichops and the three bears’ pun).

Minecraft Things

Assistant is a redstone genius but loves going into mods like the Create mod absolutely blind so they can discover everything. They also love messing around with the most stupid texture packs possible

Sage handles everyone’s food supply and makes sure no one leaves on an expedition without two stacks of steak and a half stack of golden carrots. She’s a bit of a hoarder and her chest situation is a little bit egregious but at least it’s organized! She’s got an enormous auto-composter

Vapor and Sylve are the ones working to build the base into something both very functional and aesthetically appealing. Sage set up a logging area to help them out.

When awake, Mel likes to do the most menial tasks possible so if she accidentally falls asleep, it doesn’t have to worry about being a hazard. Like Strip Mining. It’s relaxing after a long day of fighting crooks

Alex comes up with server-wide events like lil festivals and likes to make fireworks. He has blown up multiple times due to creepers, but hey, at least he’s got his parrots.

Chad is the designated Nether Ambassador. If there is literally anything anyone needs from the Nether, he’ll handle it. But he’ll handle it a lot faster if Sir is the one asking

Speaking of Sir, he and Cathy work together to do the more magical stuff like potion making (since it’s not too removed from chemistry) and enchantments. Thankfully, they have a spawner.

Ivan and Misra rule over and protect a village together because Ivan finally has an empire to himself now. The village is absolutely huge and Ivan would never admit it but he needed to trade Sage for all the wheat seeds he needed for the field in exchange for emeralds

Caden was the one to first kill a wither. He set up the proper underground chamber situation and everything. The Belle Kingdom and Alliance of Homos (Alex’s name for the base everyone else stays at) have beacons thanks to him. He probably lives underground, dangerously close to an Ancient City.

Deed sporadically logs on but the first time she did, she somehow was able to single-handily take on a Mansion with almost no armor and the second time she killed the Ender Dragon. Ever since, once she logs on, everyone’s a little on-edge. Last time it happened, she drained an ocean monument and then just left.

Goon loves to go caving but 4/10 times they end up dying from either fall damage or an onslaught of mobs due to running out of torches. On the bright side, they brought back moss, axolotls, and glowberries last time, much to Sage and Vapor’s delight.

Memiri will log on, pick one person that’s on with her, and stick by them doing whatever she can to help. Watch Chad’s six while fighting ghasts? Totally. Carry an entire inventory of torches and light the way for Goon? No problem. Farm with Sage? Sure thing. Help rig up a skelly spawned with Assistant? Can do!

It all happened so suddenly when members of the order showed up to his door, his parents were far from excited. His mother especially. His father understood better than his mother and against his wishes, convinced her to allow him to attend school. There was always a part of Mason that knew he didn't belong and now it all made sense. He didn't understand fully what it would mean to leave his muggle home for the wizard world and the risk he would have to deal with considering he was a muggleborn or that he'd end up losing his mother along the way. Mason was raised Catholic along with his younger sister Anthea and was very involved in the church growing up. He was an alter boy and even attended catechism throughout the week. Having someone come and tell Auriela that her son was a wizard was blasphemy to her. Her emotions getting the best of her and reminding Mason if he went through with it, he would not be welcomed to heaven and that she would no longer have a son. All Mason knew was if he didn't do this then he would regret it and so he went with his father's support though it wasn't much either. Due to obvious reasons, he hasn't returned to the muggle world. Attending scholomance, Mason felt like he finally belonged somewhere. He quickly found his place in Ravenclaw and was able to make friends and even joining Quidditch as a Chaser. Learning has always been his strongest quality and so it didn't really surprise him that's where home was. Though Gryffindor was a close second. It was easy to fall into place considering at the beginning it was a lot like his muggle school but regardless, Mason always excelled in whatever he put his mind to. No longer having contact with his parents, Mason decided to stay and help his cousins and friends the most he could, finding comfort and a second home with them though he misses his sister dearly. He decided to join the order of the phoenix, moving up rather quickly due to his determination and dedication. He is currently a dragon rank, proving that he has the heart and determination to help any way he can which he's engulfed himself in fully to avoid thinking too much about everything else.

He’s always been very dedicated to his career to the point that his friends often have to remind him that there is life out there besides working but it’s just easier to Mason to engulf himself with something to do. He often needs people who will pull him away from working and remind him to breathe and just try to enjoy life though this is no easy task for them, Mason feels like he doesn’t have time to be messing around. A bit of a workaholic in that way. He has a big heart and definitely always tries to keep a smile on his face because someone has to.

He was very dedicated to his studies and is always trying to learn something new. Its the only way he's been able to keep up his positivity.

A little sarcastic now and then and over protective but always means well.

He doesn’t tell many people but he tends to push his limits with his magic.

He's finally open about his bisexuality. This was something that always caused tension with his mother as she was a very devoted Catholic and part of the reason why she cut contact with him which has lead to inner conflict within Mason even years later. He is aware that he’s bisexual but there is so much internal homophobia that he is unlearning little by little.

He is very loyal to his friends and will go to the ends of the earth for them.

i strongly believe that in like at least 90% of every disney show, the show just goes downhill after season 3

for example, liv and maddie: cali style. one of my friends on instagram who has a liv and maddie account doesn’t post about season 4 because she hates it. she even has a pinned post of a small set of reasons why she hates it so much (and understandably so.) i mean, the dad left the show, diggie and maddie are together, they’re not in stevens point, wisconsin anymore? i like dina and ruby, don’t get me wrong, but like, cali style was so so bad

another example, someone’s going to crucify me for this one, is austin and ally. growing up, i had a HUGE crush on ross/austin, and for a bit, i hated the ship auslly. a few years later, i made a whole fanpage for auslly. now, i still like ross and A&A, but as for the ship, i’m neutral. anyway, in season 4, sonic boom changed to A&A music factory, austin’s hair was long?? EW? and it just wasn’t as enjoyable as seasons 1-3. also jace and trish didn’t end up together, excuse me? idk man i just never really liked season 4 of A&A

jessie is probably the only exception to this. all 4 seasons of jessie i loved.

wizards of waverly place i think had a good season 4, especially the finale. i like the fact that mason and alex ended up together, juliet and justin ended up together, and both justin and alex got to keep their powers. i feel like max deserved more than the sub station but he did seem ecstatic about that i won’t complain

this one’s gonna hurt me like hell, but, lab rats. you guys know i love this show. it’s my favorite, it’s my comfort show, but i’m not gonna lie, i try to avoid bionic island when i’m watching it. it’s just not as fun as the other seasons. like, tasha isn’t really there, sometimes douglas is there more than donald, sebastian is there (yes this is a sebastian and sebase slander page), they started to make chase more annoying, and they’re not in mission creek anymore. i just think that season 4 of lab rats is my least favorite. i even like elite force better, and we all know how badly they wrote elite force

Roy Thomas/Werner Roth & Don Heck

We're back, with more inexplicable Egyptians! You'll notice also that the personnel on this title have shifted again: Roy Thomas is back as writer after his long previous stint. Thomas was very much fine before but Arnold Drake, while a bit batshit, was quite fun, so returning to Thomas promises to maybe slow things down a bit, for good or ill.

The Egyptian gang knock out Cyclops and load him into a sarcophagus and onto a plane headed for Cairo, and you have to agree that this is all pretty fun. My favourite thing here is actually the woke customs official who supports the return of artefacts to their native countries. A man ahead of his time.

It turns out they have brother Alex too, who we now know is a latent mutant, and they're going to sacrifice them both to somehow empower the Living Pharaoh further. Where did these guys come from? Are they wizards? Time travellers? Mutants? Actual Egyptians? Doesn't matter, shut up, enjoy the amazing Egyptian interiors.

Cyclops destroys a priceless historical artefact. What would the woke customs official say, Cyclops?

Who are these guys? Why is this happening?

The rest of the X-Men show up for the final showdown but in the end the crucial blow is struck by Alex's powers awakening, which causes him to make an unbelieavably goofy face.

So now he knows he's a mutant. Fine, good. Can someone please explain the Egyptians?

The ones always at the top of this list, my Trick and @gothamcityneedsme's Tavon. The ship that started as a high school joke of "what if we put the rebel and the loyalist together?" and has developed into 13 years (and counting) of the most wonderful stories of two, incredibly broken people slowly befriending each other and putting each other back together against all odds. Trick is the OC for me and these two own my heart. If I ever try to say otherwise, I'm lying.

As of late, coming up right behind the ship of ships for me, is--unsurprisingly--Gale/Nox. I'm just really excited to finally be writing my first DnD PC (ok...technically second, but not really. It's complicated) consistently, and I'm finding the outcast wizard/outcast wizard pairing is lending itself really well to my usual brand of drama, angst, and pretentiousness in writing. They should make each other worse, and the only reason they don't is because they're on opposite ends of the 'Do you want to become a god?' spectrum, where Gale is a resounding yes and Nox only moves slightly away from 'would kill a god if given the opportunity' because they do, actually, kill a god. In short, I'm having a blast writing them.

Not OCs, but third place gets to be Rosegarden, or Oscar/Ruby from RWBY. While we're waiting in v10 limbo, these two live in the back of my mind, and every so often come out to demand some attention. Without getting too much into it, something about destined, Chosen One kids and rhetorical/thematic parallels makes my brain go brrr.

Hmmm. I think I usually answer Kataang for these but if I'm really thinking about it, I remember being super invested in Leo and Piper from Charmed, when my mom let me watch it. I couldn't really tell you what it was about them because I was about 6-8...but I was in it with them. They were the only ones I really cared about knowing what happened to them when the show ended.

I currently have @/aevallare's Ao3 page up, and have for weeks because I'm notoriously awful with reading and then even worse about reading fanfic. I don't have the time and energy to start up Kindred right now (soon...vacation...hopefully), but I've been poking at Alex's one-shots. tailwind is delightful for those of you stuck in Gale/Tav hell like I am, and Wisp is jam-packed with character in such a succinct manner that I'm in love.

Also Argylle! I went in completely blind to it and then it gave me everything I didn't know I wanted. It was a fun romp, and the fact that it was incredibly Trick/Tav coded was an added benefit.

Currently Craving

Sleep, money, time. I'd like to say that once the paper crunch at work is over with the first submission it'll get better...buuuuut I know that's not true. I just want to have enough energy to write again. Also what I'm always craving, strawberry lemonade.

i had a random question pop up in my head, but, if you could pick only one movie and one tv show that was either canceled or could have a sequel made, what do you think youd pick? (it can be a previously established canon ship or not, im just curious which you want new content for the most)

What a fun question!

I'm pretty wary of sequels, reboots, and continuations of various forms. I've been burned too many times. But let's assume I know somehow for a fact that I would like the continuation content just as much.

Anything that involves choosing is usually pretty hard for me.

First I would say that I wish Arrested Development had been continued immediately after season 3 with a season 4, and not many years later. I'm pretty happy, ultimately, with the way it wrapped up in 5B, but the second two seasons weren't quite the same show. So there's that.

Maybe Wizards of Waverly Place? A sequel movie or season with Alex and Justin as adults. Bonus points if it totally jettisons the final season love interests.

I kept going back to Doom, because I would love to spend more time with Samantha and John, but a sequel just wouldn't make sense and I don't think it could ever live up to what I could come up with myself.

Then I thought Hocus Pocus. They made a sequel (I almost forgot that), but not with the same characters. This would be the same characters, adults now, and a new adventure. I've long time considered a fic in which Dani wants to use the spell book and ends up unleashes all whatnot.

Anyway, sorry for this jumbled mess of an answer. I'm interested in what you would choose, Anon, and everyone else. Feel free to chime in!
