Anon who sent me the ask about their parents "demonizing" your transition.

Parents have your life planned out for you before you are born (it's not fair, but it's how they are). So when you want to transition genders, all their "plans", "hopes", "dreams", etc. are "destroyed" (ex. they thought you'd grow up, get married, have babies, etc.). This is all a shock and something they will just have to get used to if they want to be in your life. I imagine you still live with them, so tread lightly. I tried to explain to my parents they are losing a very unhappy daughter and gaining a happy son. It wasn't easy. It still isn't. My chest has been done for over 15 years and my father won't look at me with my shirt off. My mother is the worst for misgendering me to this day, doesn't talk when I speak about having children one day. It used to make me mad, I'd start by correcting her, now I just tune it out, grit my teeth and I have been out for about three decades. Parents have a hard time coping, they are far from perfect so they can mess up. They see you transitioning as an absolute loss, and that's not your fault. It will take time, and you never know how long it will actually take for them to embrace it.

I do have an article on here for parents and phalloplasty, from a legitimate resource. If they would be interested/ willing to read it.

Don't you dare let them blame you for "destroying" their marriage, if they say that they are using this as an excuse because they have a probably unhappy marriage. This started long before you even told them, so don't blame yourself. That is not a very nice thing to say as a parent. Well none of it really is, but... They are using you as a lightning rod and I'm sorry for that.

For the time being I'm glad you found some solace in my blog. Feel free to vent to me anytime.

I am really sorry. There is nothing wrong with you, you are not the reason they are miserable, okay? You are perfect just as you are and are worth so much love. You deserved to be loved inside and out.

Please do not put yourself in harm's way, or get yourself thrown out on the street.

Do you have anyone you can talk to about this, an adult, therapist, school counselor, a relative, even an older sibling? Anyone that can maybe have your back if anything happens. Maybe create a plan if something happens.

I imagine you are such an amazing individual, I can tell you are fighting a fight and you're not taking your goal out of your sight. You are brave and stronger than you think. You should be very proud.

Bi Yoosung is canon /j no but what else could I hc him as, with his big ass crush on Saeran 😭 and I believe it wasn't the only one - tho I think most of the times he'd be oblivious and confuse his boy crushes with simple admiration, because he likes girls after all! But boy. Sweetie. My dude. You're fruity and it shows.

With Byeol being nonbinary, Yoosung's a bit confused at first. He doesn't live under a rock, he heard about nonbinary genders, just hasn't really done any research about the topic. He has no problem with accepting them in any way regardless if he fully gets it or not. He just needs some explanations and learning to do so he could understand their identity better.

💚 Eunbyeol Kim (Byeol) ♡ she/they/he ♡ 20 yo ♡ nonbinary, pansexual

Byeol likes both feminine and masculine clothes and interests, but has always been praised only for presenting feminine ("You're such a pretty lady!", "you look like a little princess in this dress" "you look much prettier with some makeup on") and it felt wrong so she started to resent these and dress as androgynously as possible, rejecting everything that was considered feminine.

Dislikes how feminine their face and body is, always admired androgynous people, and wishes breasts were an accessory you can put on and off depending on the outfit. Related those feelings to just wishing to look good in both male and female cosplays, only much later realized there is a deeper reason for that.

Bought her first binder for cosplay purposes and oh boy the happiness it brought!!

Generally wearing masculine outfits always brought that little, unexplainable spark of excitement.

Once when gaming someone referred to her as "he" and it felt cool so she never corrected them. Now goes by mostly he/they online and she/they irl (but honestly is fine with any).

As a teenager started to be more active online, and finding lgbt communities, she discovered the existence of nonbinary genders and started to put the pieces if her life together. Rotated between different identities (demigirl, demiboy, genderfluid, agender, etc.) but at the end decided to just stick to nonbinary as it felt the most comfortable.

Cut their hair at the end of high school, out of impulse and spite for her family pushing the idea that a woman must have long hair. It felt so freeing, even tho she ended up looking like a disaster lol

Their family is conservative and not very accepting to anything outside of the "norm" so they're not out to anyone except one of her older sisters who does everything to support them, even if she didn't fully understand at first.

While doesn't mind she/her pronouns, other gendered words (like miss, sister, girlfriend etc.) makes her uncomfortable so prefers to use gender-neutral alternatives when possible.

Definitely prefer to be referred using their shortened name - Byeol - since it's gender neutral, than the feminine full name - Eunbyeol.

Now - after learning that the way they're presenting nor interests do not invalidate their identity - embraces their feminine features (still thanks gods for the invention of a binder but doesn't always feel the need to wear), actually likes wearing makeup and dresses sometimes, loves to play with fashion and mix both feminine and masculine pieces of clothing, and is obsessed with accessories.

Regarding the romantic/sexual attraction, he has 0 experience, but never put much importance to it, "if I fall in love then I fall in love, the only thing that matters if we get along well".

Since they're going to the same college as Yoosung, they saw him in the halls, a few days into 1st semester, and immediately got a big ass crush on him. Felt way too shy to approach him though, and everytime they ran into each other, only managed to mumble something incomprehensible (and that was very new and out of character for her, and also very embarassing). Later, slowly they started bonding over the same interests, though Yoosung was very oblivious of Byeol's feelings towards him. Until many months later when she confessed to him - or in his route, when he realized that the party coordinator he fell in love with is actually his college and gaming friend. 💚

66. How do you deal with writing pressure (pressure to update, negative comments, deadlines, etc?)

I feel terribly guilty when I don't update; like truly, horribly guilt, especially if it's been over a month. I try to appease my readers with longer chapters, when I do have the time and will do write.

I don't do deadlines anymore, since I know I'll miss them, and then even more guilt to deal with.

I am mostly amused by negative comments, because 99.9% of the times only a certain type of person bothers to take time out of their day to leave a negative comment on a free fan fiction, and that type of person is usually stupid, so hilarity can ensue.

It very rarely bothers me, though there were some occasions in the beginning. But now I am a veteran- I've seen them all, I've been called all sorts of names, so my skin is very thick by this point.

Sometimes I ignore them, sometimes I answer back gleefully. Depends how busy I am. I almost never delete them.

( I want to make sure people understand that by 'negative comment' I mean someone that is there just to bitch and moan about the plot or characters. I DO NOT mean nice people that are kind enough to point out some typos I made, or other grammar/spelling mistakes that I made. English is not my first language, and those comments actually helped me get better in my writing. I always welcome these corrections regarding English mistakes, and don't view them as either negative, or criticism.)

69. What works of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?

If I am embarrassed about a work, I don't publish it. So everything I did publish is fine by me, even if I wish some works were better, in hindsight. My most embarrassing stuff remains safely and privately in my notebooks where I scribble terrible stuff when I am bored somewhere on the road.

74. You’ve posted a fic anonymously. How would someone be able to guess that you’d written it?

I am told I have a certain style that would most definitely give me away to anyone that has read a couple or more of my stories.

Also, the pairings would give me away 😂 I have a penchant for rare or 'weird' pairings. So that, coupled with the writing style (and the trademark typos, of course) would probably be a giveaway.

I actually do intend to publish a fic anonymously soon, so I guess we shall see.

Those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Anyway, onto the rest of the ask:

Eli has rheumatoid arthiritis that affects his entire body, but is particular harsh on his legs. He also has gout which mostly flares up in his hands and makes it difficult to grab and hold things as his joints will swell up. His eczema causes him to scratch - sometimes until he bleeds but he does have some pretty effective cream for this.

❤️ - Would they have any advice for someone else struggling with their disability?

"Know your worth, know your limits, and enforce your boundaries - don't take shit from people who don't know shit, and they never know shit."

🦿 - Do they know anyone with the same disability as them? Are they close?

So Ari has gout too, but it's concentrated to his hands, and they're brothers. I assume there are other people with any and all of his disabilities.

💤 - How would/will they cope with their disability worsening?

Unlike Ari, Eli is smart, he knows when to rest. He struggles to ask for help though - much to Alicia's (his wife) chagrin. He tends to rest in bed when he has flare ups, and will walk around the house (or possibly to the end of the street) just to keep some semblance of movement. He's a restless person, and he gets bored really quite easily (much like Ari), so if he has the mental space, he'll also work from some catching up on paperwork. He's been disabled his entire life, so even though he can get frustrated and outright angered, he always tries to approach it from a divine-intervention standpoint, IE, this is me being told I need to rest my body and take care of myself.

As May, my birth month, began anew, its threshold made me feel renewed with greater energy and purpose. 🍃 It rekindled the fire in me, reigniting my passions and driving me to strive for greater heights.

🎈 As a new astrological solar return or my 27th birthday draws near, I am filled with a stronger sense of urgency this time to make real significant changes in my life. 🤸🏻‍♀️ I don't have to just plan but to decide and take action with my BIG ambitions and aspirations.

The question and dilemma that really perplexes me is "If I know deep down to my core that I am meant to achieve greater things in life with my natural potential, skills & capabilities to top with my persistence, grit & passion, then why am I still stuck in my current state?" 🤔

To think of the most sensible answer after much reflection, I've come to the realization that it's not yet my time just as how others put it. 🪬 There are still many lessons to be learned, mistakes to be corrected, and unlearning to be done before I can fully get to move forward to what I really desire.

This doesn't mean that I'm discontented with my current career, location or the people around me. In fact, I am sooo much blessed! ❤️ It's just that I have a stronger feeling and "knowing" that I belong somewhere else - somewhere I can be free, loved, and FULFILLED. 🥹

But how do I get there? Do I still have to wait for my Saturn return or my 30s before I get to where I should be?

I won't just wait. I must keep trying even if it has been many years of constant attempts.

The future ✨ isn't really scary for me at all, it even excites me that I did my own initiative by leaning over divination practices to get a glimpse of what lies ahead. 🪄 My future holds so much promise but everything in my birth and what the stars say is that I will only get there to my destination 🏁 only when I've fully matured and ready to take off. ⛵️

Many transformative events have already occurred in my life, events that are best kept as secrets. However, I'd still bring them all with me as my anchor ⚓️ - they for sure have strengthened me and will assure me in journeys, voyages, and escapades that I have something to rely on. In short — myself.

So I'm not allowing myself to be drifted 🛟 along the tides 🌊 anymore. I'm now fighting against it and embarking on a new life 🍀 that I will design & solidify - something my future Self will thank me for! 🦋

💞what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language

When I read (anything, not just fic), I read to get to know a person. I really enjoy people and like understanding what makes them tick. So in fic, for me the most important part is accurate characterization. There doesn’t even need to be a world, although I admire it when authors manage to build a beautiful and believable one. I rarely even notice the technical aspects of a story, like grammar or vocabulary, although I do like to collect interesting words people use, especially verbs. (I do notice tone and telling instead of showing, but that’s just all part of amateur writing. Don’t read amateur writing if you’re expecting edited perfection or full mastery of writing conventions. 🤷‍♀️) But accurate characterization is where it’s at for me. This includes dialogue, pace, mannerisms, motivations. If it’s Brio, they can’t just proclaim their love for each other or start interfering in each other’s lives in ways we never saw in canon. Their dialogue has to be believably them. I need to be able to see and hear the characters, not the author who wrote them. It takes me right out of the story when these pieces seem inaccurate and I can’t visualize that reality for them. This is also what I work hardest on in my own writing and what I’m most critical of myself about. (This, and telling instead of showing. I sometimes go back and re-read and just cringe with all the added qualifiers I’ve added to certain scenes or conversations. Beating the reader over the head with my point. I need to take a class lol.)

🎉how often do you celebrate completing & posting a work? how often do you give yourself the credit/validation that you seek from others when you post? (if you don't, you should!)

Is it wrong to say that sometimes I celebrate with every completed sentence? It makes it sound like writing fanfics is work and not fun, and I don’t want to make it sound that way. It’s definitely a hobby and I like the puzzle of making something tangible out of vague ideas. Sometimes, though, it’s difficult to see how the pieces should fit together, so very frequently managing to find 10-15 free mins and to write even a sentence or two is an accomplishment. I’ve found that very often it isn’t massive rewrite that pops everything into place. It’s almost always a word or two, placed just so, that changes the whole trajectory of the written scene and better represents my intended ideas. So it always gives me that feeling of accomplishment when I feel like I’m satisfied with the message, cadence, character depiction, etc of any given section. If I could quantify how much time I spend just adding and subtracting words from my sentences to make the correct number of syllables to maintain “the beat…” That time spent ultimately produces very little finished product, but it serves my internal metronome when re-reading so I’m at least able to stomach my own work. I don’t think anyone else would even notice those changes, but I celebrate all that.

And I of course absolutely adore AO3 Fridays when I have something to share. Just the act of posting something new makes me feel so accomplished! I like how AO3 for me is kind of synonymous now with the weekend and wrapping up of my “have to” responsibilities and getting to do some of my “want to”s. It feels like a celebration in itself.

Hi Skippy, just to let everyone know that I felt it necessary to deactivate my account last night. The reason is that 3 of the Twitter accounts I follow and have posted information from on Tumblr are being prosecuted by the UK Thought Police and are due to go to Court.

People who follow or reblog from them are also allegedly under surveillance which would therefor include myself.

It really is ridiculous here so I have deactivated all of my Social Media accounts. I won't stop blogging but need time to regroup and doubly ensure that I won't end up in Court. The sentences are ridiculous and it seems that the current PM is coming down really hard now on Social Media.

Here is the advice I have been given if you are a UK Blogger.

Ensure you use a VPN

Make sure you have an anonymous email address if possible for example Proton do one

Delete all Social Media accounts if there has been anyone challenging what you say or any hint that anyone is working to report you to the Police . There are literally groups on Social Media especially Facebook and Twitter now of Leftists have been reporting bloggers or Social Media accounts to the Police such as the 3 I have mentioned and their followers.

Reset your phone and wipe it completely

Start again if you wish but take extra care and be vigilant that anything you post will not be used against you at this time

Read and digest the Human Rights Act Sections 9, 10 and 14 as this will inform you about your Rights in Law albeit they are using current updates to some Laws regarding Hate Speech Online etc (I will post about that in my new blog)

The advice below is not Professional Legal Advice just advice given to anyone anxious about possible visits from Police for prosecution

If the police do visit DO NOT allow them into your house as they can then search your premises and confiscate your phone, computer etc. If you don't allow entry they will have to provide a warrant to search your property and take away your communication devices

If they take you to a Police Station for questioning DO NOT SAY ANYTHING EVER AT ANYTIME THAN NO COMMENT OR NOT GUILTY - the onus is then on the Police to provide proof that you have used hate speech or incited anyone to riot etc

Get an independent lawyer or advice as the Duty Solicitor would advise you most likely to plead guilty for obvious reasons

Opt for a High Court case by pleading not guilty - this will cause more hassle and they may drop the charges due to insufficient evidence

Apparantly no one as yet has pleaded not guilty and/or opted for a High Court hearing as most are unaware of their legal rights and have been advised to plead guilty

I am writing this from memory so please feel free to chip in or correct any mistakes

It's gonna be me, Hyungwon, and Changkyun (because he knows how to keep quiet and its basically impossible to shake him). I'm the planner/inside man - the billionaire hired me six months ago as a personal secretary and I've been scoping the place out, making plans, and recruiting. Changkyun is our distraction because I think he can keep a straight face while he pretends to be an investor in some scheme the billionaire has going on. Hyungwon is going to help me execute the heist and then get us tf out of there.

I tend to get short tempered when I'm nervous, so I can definitely see picking a fight with Changkyun because I don't think he'd put up with me lol. Hyungwon would have to play peace keeper for sure.

But of course we'd pull it off and then head up to a cabin I had conveniently purchased at least two years prior to the heist (in anticipation of needing a hideout but also just bc I love a nice quiet cabin up in the mountains) and hide out for a while. The place would be close enough to a small town that I could get supplies, and the town would be small enough that the people there wouldn't trust any outsiders that came around (especially since I already got in good with them when I bought the cabin) so we'd wait for the heat to die down and then quietly return the jewels to their rightful owners. Who, you know, aren't obligated to give us a reward but they would anyway. Happy ending!

Arcana Characters (Main 6) x MC

A/N: this one is for @beansandmorebeans! I’m supposed to wake up in a few hours to go help out my mom at work, but I’ve decided you’ve all been deprived of content for too long :) Please let me know if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes :) requests are open!

The first time he sees you shapeshift he shrieks

Does not understand how you just did that

He has a lot of trouble accepting even minor forms of magic, so you changing literally everything about your anatomy terrifies him at first

Of course that terror is overtaken by his curiosity

He wants to know how much of your internal structures shift to match your outer structure

Like an octopus has multiple hearts, so if you shift into one, does that mean you also have multiple hearts? Or do you maintain your human physiology?

He’s probably not getting any answers, because there’s no real way to find out without some very invasive experiments that you most definitely would not be okay with

Overall he just kind of accepts that it’s something you can do, but if anyone else can do it then he’ll still be incredibly skeptical of them (this is solely a you thing, in his mind, if that makes sense)

He loves when you shift into other people to help him rehearse scenes for whatever show he’s going to be in

And he adores the fact that you can get away with so much without being caught

He’ll always be absolutely terrified when you turn into a typically aggressive animal, and will never not scream in the highest pitch you’ve ever heard

So it’s best not to lounge around the house as a lion

She’s absolutely delighted to find out that you can shapeshift, but disappointed to learn that it’s not something she can learn to do as well

With that being said, she likes to request different animals to see you shift into them

She’s always super excited to see a new animal; the thrill never wears off

Whenever you turn into a cat, she always squeals in delight and tries to see if you can Pepi can communicate

She’s super supportive of you being whatever or whoever makes you most comfortable

So whenever she comes home to see a strange person or animal lounging around the house, she doesn’t even look twice

With your assistance, she’s pulling a long running prank on Julian— who doesn’t know your a shapeshifter— by asking you to look like a different person every time she meets up with him

She introduces you as her partner every time, and pretends that you’ve always looked that way to confuse him

The poor man has stayed up for nights on end trying to figure out what’s going on

Portia thinks it’s the funniest thing ever (and it is)

💛Lucio💛

Immediately planning how he can use your powers to his advantage

The pranks he could pull, the political figures he could gaslight, the controversies he could start… so many options

He makes sure to introduce you to plenty of powerful authorities of foreign nations so you can impersonate them whenever you please

Is that morally correct? No. But he thinks it’s funny

Technically you could also use your powers for good, but you’ll need to be the one to decide to do that, because Lucio thinks the path of evil would be much more entertaining

If you wanna give him a taste of his own medicine, feel free to shapeshift into him and make a fool of yourself in public

Or shift into one of his beloved animals, and when he comes to pet you, shift into something really big and scary

When the two of you aren’t causing problems, he likes to ask you to shift into whatever beautiful creature comes to mind

This can be anything from a peacock to a lion depending on the day

If you’re up for it, he’d love to brag about your powers to anyone who will listen

You’re the absolute coolest, and he wants everyone to know it

💚Muriel💚

He’s permanently worried that you’ll shift into something really small and he’ll accidentally squish you

Like he won’t even kill mosquitos anymore, even if you’re literally standing beside him

He’s just a tad paranoid, the poor dear

He prefers when you shift into larger animals

Especially ones he doesn’t have to worry about harming, like bears

Honestly prefers to cuddle you when you’re in the form of a giant cuddly animal

Inanna is also a huge fan of this

It freaks Muriel out a bit when you shift into other people

It stresses him out, so he asks that you don’t change your human form too often

If you’d like to shift into a smaller animal, he’d like to carry you around on his shoulder so he knows where you are

Also asks if you can shift into a chicken to tell him what his chickens are gossiping about

💙Asra💙

Thinks your abilities are absolutely amazing, and is constantly encouraging them

If you’re not around, he talks to every animal as if it were you

He does this to some people too, but only if they look like a form you’ve shifted into before— it can be pretty awkward

One time you went on a trip alone that lasted a few days longer than expected

When you came home, you found Asra cuddled up with a very friendly raccoon that he had accidentally mistaken for you

He doesn’t like to talk about that incident, but it’s one of your favourite memories

Since he’s so supportive, shifting forms dozens of times throughout the day feels perfectly natural for you (assuming there’s no energy/magic strain)

No matter what form you’re in, Asra absolutely loves to cuddle with you

Big animals are perfect for curling up against, smaller ones can be cradled close to his chest, and human forms are just right for the good old fashioned types of cuddles

Faust’s favourites are the big animals with lots of fur or hair because you make a perfect bed for her

💜Nadia💜

She’s very curious about the nature of shapeshifting

She wants to know everything about it, such as its limits, combinations, and fundamental anatomy changes

But mostly she just enjoys your incredible magic

She makes sure you have plenty of clothes that are loose, adjustable, or easy to remove so that you don’t accidentally destroy them when you shapeshift

She also makes sure your room is very accessible regardless of your physical form

Whenever she’s alone and an animal approaches her, she makes polite conversation with it, just in case it’s actually you

She asks that you not impersonate anyone she personally knows, as it makes her a bit uncomfortable

The only exception is if you want to impersonate an ignorant jerk who annoyed her to make fun of them in private

Perhaps her favourite form that you can take is that of a bird

Watching you fly high in the sky, completely free of the world below you is very inspiring to her

and I finally got to the last one of these in my inbox… I may have been rationing them as rewards for getting things done. Thanks for letting me indulge (also feel free to send me more I never object even if it’s been days since I posted the questions)

Cara:

❤️ What would your OC’s ideal lover be like? Appearance, personality, voice? Would their family approve or would it be a civil war?

Oh… oh… wow, so that’s a question… ummm… okay… so I don’t think she really has any idea what she would look for because she’s never really thought anyone would be interested in a romantic way and figured that there would probably be something political behind any more official union, much like her own parents. And really she’s been so inwardly focused on her own shit and pushing people away for so long that I don’t think the possibility is really something she’s considered.

That said, I’ve been giving this some thought recently (especially as she starts actually looking at the party as more than just allies of convenience) because I think she’s working through some confusing feelings right now.

I think what appeals the most, at least at the moment, is someone that she feels probably understands (at least partially) where she’s coming from, and is otherwise much more peaceful/less focused on fighting than she is. She’s honestly just tired at this point, she’s determined to keep fighting (because.. that’s what she does… it’s what she has to offer) but honestly peace appeals.

Okay, so there are many reasons why Cara projected on to Mel (and immediately disliked them because of it… I mean she was also extremely not there for the murder by arson, or criticizing Mal for caring enough to pursue Mel into danger, so those also didn’t help).

Even if it wasn’t the most important detail, her projecting was definitely solidified by Mel was talking about how they were about to achieve their dream of a small house by a mountain lake…. that’s like exactly her ideal

A small cabin on the shore of a clear mountain lake. Quiet and peaceful with everything she needs to live comfortably. I don’t think she would have pictured any particular aesthetic or anything more than just the setting.

I’ll be self-indulgent (as if all my answers aren’t) and try to guess the whole party’s impressions of her (Any party members that want to correct me feel free XD)

Vorna:

Wow, she’s been through a lot. Her dad was a piece of work. She’s one of the easier party members to be around because she doesn’t ask questions or expect idle talk. Sparring with her is a good distraction especially given the relative calm of the last few weeks… I kind of want to ask her about that whole revenge thing and how she’s feeling about it, but also I don’t want to disturb the comfortable balance we’ve struck drinking/ rooming/ sparring together in the past.

Sleater:

I think Cara just needs a lot of hugs and to lighten up a little. She glares a lot but I think underneath all that she cares. She’s been through a rough time so I think she just needs lots of encouragement and if she sticks around us she’s sure to get it!

Also, her father sucks so the moment she asks she can be part of my family! Not sure why she didn’t follow up with her mom, though… she seemed to care at least.

Diesa:

I really want to help her but somehow I seem to always say the wrong thing just when we might get closer and she withdraws furhter. I think she deserves way better than she’s gotten out of life and thinks too poorly of herself. She seems super uncomfortable around me and I’m not sure how to make her more comfortable. We got her back and I’ll do my best to keep her back, but I think for now giving her some space might be my best bet… Has she been avoiding me more than before she was resurrected? It’s hard to tell.

Eilir:

Where do I even start? This girl is obviously traumatized and needs some fantasy therapy. When that magic circle kept her out I knew something was up with her, though I could tell she didn’t want to talk about it and was scared of something… then we saw the stuff in the fire and she came to ask me about it… I gave her some space because I don’t think pushing her would help and maybe she’d come to me when she was ready… but her dad caught up with her first.

She’s abrasive and pushes people away… I wish she would just talk but maybe she’s made some progress… she talked to Mal and actually stepped up for Mel…though what she said was maybe not… the best approach to take… Also why can none of this group (other than Sleater) even recognise normal family dynamics?

Mal:

Cara is always so dour and grim but at the same time I kinda get it. Her dad was shite! Glad she killed him! She’s good at this whole fighting thing and jumps in easily when I’d rather not be there and is practical to have around.

She seems to share my bewilderment at the group’s attitude and is appropriately distrustful of people, unlike some others I could mention.

I am pretty sure she doesn’t think much of me but she seems to have decided that she owes us after that whole thing with her dad, and to be fair she kinda does, that was insane. And now she seems very actively protective of me and the rest of the group. But she seems deeply uncomfortable with any sort of social situation so I’ll return the favour and act as a buffer when necessary, I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone look as lost and terrified as she was at Sleater’s whirlwind of a family.

I would have expected anyone but her to try to talk to me when Mel died… not sure she chose the best words… but I guess she tried which seems like a lot for her.

💐 Does your OC like flowers? What are their favourites? Do they keep a garden of some sort? What flowers would they use in a flower crown? (and if you like, research the meanings behind those flowers!)

So first off… definitely no garden. Write that down. Nope, not going to garden nope.

She’s okay with flowers but also there’s just some things that mean she’s not overly comfortable with plants in general. She’d probably let someone put a flower crown on her because she knows her discomfort is (for the most part) silly. But she can’t really shake that distrust and she wouldn’t even think of making one herself.

But rather than dodging the question I’ll take it as if Juniper (my character who, with her wand of flowers is constantly gifting people with flowers she thinks suits them) was to make her a flower crown it would be composed of:

Juniper (protection and healing) and rosemary (remembrance) woven together for the green base and fill (also for some tiny yellow and purple flowers and great smell), black eyed susans (for justice and a beautiful golden colour), and some lavender (purple to offset the goldenrod and for devotion and virtue also a great smell). Plus it would smell lovely.

🥀 Has your OC ever been hurt by someone they love? Ever been betrayed? Abused? Attacked? Give me the angst! (if you’d like, write a short drabble about it!)

Umm… not really actually. Not any more than just normal disagreements and every day hurt/ misunderstandings that everyone has when you are close with others.

She’s definitely been attacked, she’s been in fights… but she hasn’t been really seriously hurt by anyone she loved/trusted.

Puff:

(cheating because @shrip-boi has already shared thoughts on this one) Nice and friendly but a cop, keep illegal activity out of her line of sight. I don’t think she’d be cool about it at all.

Seems willing to protect me but also wants to drag me into dangerous situations? Also looks really threatening when sharpening her weapon but was surprisingly unconcerned about my name lie?

Does exercises every morning, kinda serious about it. Looks good, and kinda entertaining to watch.

Lydia:

Kind of foolish and runs into dangerous situations when she should stop and think. Also insistent on keeping on going even if resting a moment is clearly the best option. Seems to care a lot and really want to help people. Really didn’t appreciate that she was a goddamn PALADIN and didn’t tell me! (How was I supposed to know what an Earthwarden was?). Also didn’t appreciate the threats on my person simply for being a skeleton, this is why I hide it in the first place!

Siggrit:

Oh great… she’s just like my family. Fucking perfect. She’s not even a dwarf and she’s bought into this whole foolish “throw yourself at the enemy” method of “defense” and her idea of a plan is “go and do it”…She also seems to be trying way too hard to prove herself and be making stupid decisions as far as trying to protect everyone but herself…

She knows of the Shattershields and seemed to have the same fool opinion about them as the other warrior types back home, would she have been so quick to follow my lead in battle if I didn’t have that name behind me?! I hate that.
