A/N: Can you believe that I wrote like 150 Arcana headcanon sets before someone asked for a petite mc? I feel like this is a classic that I missed out on in my early days. Please let me know if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes :) requests are open!

He was already constantly filled with anxiety and an ever looming sense of dread, but meeting you has somehow increased it

Logically he knows that your size doesn’t diminish your many talents and capabilities, but he worries all the same

He likes to keep you in his line of sight, and in crowded spaces he’ll hold your hand or place one of his hands on your back or shoulder so you don’t disappear into the fray

Often he can be seen looking behind you, a bit hunched over so he can hear what you’re saying

He likes to think he looks like a scary guard dog, but depending on the circumstances there’s a good chance he looks even more scared than you

You can be short legends together

She hopes you’re okay with short jokes, because now that she has a partner who’s just as short as her, she’ll be making them all the time

Says you can tag team taking out people’s ankles if they piss you off

She really likes that she doesn’t have to worry about getting on her tiptoes to kiss you since you’re about the same height

Once joked about having you sit on her shoulders with a cloak to pretend to be Muriel while committing crimes

💛Lucio💛

Loves being the taller one in the relationship, it makes him feel strong and important

He’s always been a fan of heels (the higher the better), but he does appreciate that he can give his feet a break when he’s out with you

Does try to talk you into wearing heels for special events though; he says it’s more fun to look down at people

Makes short jokes when he’s feeling petty, but they’re not very well thought out, and mostly come down to “well, you’re short, and that’s bad because I say so”

Still feels really bad about this later, and insists that you should feel insulted even if you were totally unaffected

💚Muriel💚

He may actually cry from the stress

He’s always been uncomfortable aware of his own size, and that sensation is heightened whenever you’re around

If he bumps into you, you will be going down, and he is terrified of that

He tries to make himself smaller by hunching over whenever he’s standing or sitting next to you to draw less attention to the size difference (obviously it doesn’t work, and most people just pity him since he looks so awkward)

Hates that people are perceiving him as a sort of guard dog for you; he feels like the juxtaposition is leading to stereotyping, and you’ll need to reassure him that you don’t see him that way

💙Asra💙

You know, he’s never really noticed it all that much

Of course, on a physical level he knows you’re pretty small, but as someone who has always been right in the middle of short and tall, he doesn’t really see it as a very big deal

He does like that you’re just short enough to fit under his chin when he hugs you, but that’s about it

You don’t have to reach too far to give him a kiss, which is also a plus

And he’s already got plenty of step-stools around for reaching the top shelves, so there’s no need to ask (not that anything but decorations ever goes on those shelves anyway; if neither of you can reach them on your own, why bother giving them a practical use?)

💜Nadia💜

Adjusting to your height takes a bit of getting used to for her

She’s the type to wear heels and keep perfect posture, so she stands tall even among people of a similar height

She accidentally looks over your head until you call her attention down to you pretty often

Expect to be gifted plenty of heels or platform shoes early on in the relationship

She’s not particularly fond of the idea of abandoning her own heels, but if you struggle with yours then she’ll switch to something a bit more practical so she can kiss you more easily

She complained about neck pain exactly one (1) time, and silently prays that you never bring it up again to tease her

Main 6 - Cuddle Headcanons

Cuddling positions are practically never ending with Asra. They love to just be close to you and doesn’t have much of a preference.

However, there are some cuddle positions that are preferred after a long day of existing.

One of them is him laying on your chest. Usually this is your way of helping them unwind, especially when you massage his scalp and play with his hair.

Other than that, just hearing your heartbeat and feeling the rise and fall of your chest comforts them, even after all that’s happened.

Then there’s the time when he just wants to show you that he loves you.

This usually prompts them to start kissing you all over your face and you end up falling into his arms, all bundled up by the warm blankets.

Honestly overall, they just love to cuddle in bed with you and whatever position you two end up laying in

Even if it isn’t always the same position you wake up in

Also bonus points if you end up letting Faust cuddle up with you two, she does get cold sometimes yknow

Which she most likely always does end up doing

In Nadia’s route, it’s noted that there is only once bed in the shop so it’s likely Asra and you share it even when you’re not cuddling

So most times he’d fall asleep from exhaustion near you, with faust slithering on him

Probably hugs you around your waist too

And if you try to strike a “sexy” pose he’ll laugh and play along

The worst

Ofc he’s not actually the worst Lucio still exists but the way he cuddles at times is a hit or miss

Especially since most times he ends up sprawling his limbs out wherever they can, usually ending up on top of you unless you spoon him.

When it’s actually enjoyable to cuddle with him, most times he enjoys being spooned or mutual holding.

We all know how self deprecating he is so might as well show him how well he can be loved, even if you’re shorter or smaller, that’s no excuse

Just don’t mind his long limbs

Regardless of how you choose to hold him, he’ll always hold onto you back. Now on the other end of the spectrum where it’s damn near torture-

He has no regard for you- in his sleep at least

Like bro is genuinely squishing you with his limbs, and you can’t even move them because you’re trapped 💔

He probably unknowingly hogs the blanket too since he’s slipped off the bed more times than he’d like to admit and has taken the blanket with him.

He has all his weight on it, making damn near impossible to get the blanket from under him, leaving you shivering and timbering in the cold

If you’d prefer to be the one held then he’d be more than happy to 😭 just be prepared for him to be pretty flustered by being the one “in charge”

He does apologize to you when he wakes up if he’s been squishing you, etc etc though

Mother

She definitely one of the LI that are on the podium of best cuddlers. she holds you so warm and tight it’s honestly the best.

She is not the type to be all that physically affectionate, which is honestly a bummer because her hugs and cuddles are the best ever.

Often times at the end of an exhausting day as countess, she loves to spoil you and hold you in her arms.

She’s more than happy to massage your scalp or shoulders, even feeding you some fruit would be sufficient

Sleep wise, she’s as elegant as she is when she’s awake. Her hair is somehow perfect (must be the rose colored lenses talking-) and she’s not a blanket hogger of any kind

She’s really considerate even in her sleep and she’ll randomly wake up in the middle of the night and look for you

If you’re not covered by the blanket, she’ll tuck you in and go back to bed.

Either that or she’ll also hold you in her arms depending on if she believes that you want your space.

Now, if you’re more a sprawler, always falling off the bed, or just not that pretty of a sleeper she find it super endearing

She’ll literally get up from her cozy place on the bed to help you back up. Even going as far as carrying you if that’s what would be more comfortable.

Now, we all know Nadia prefers to be the one “in charge” she prefers to pamper and that’s alright.

But, if you prefer to also show her your affection that same way she’ll be more than happy to oblige- although it’ll be done with a blush.

When cuddling Muriel is super gentle and is hyper aware because of his larger stature, making him scared at the possibility of hurting you.

Which, you have to reassure him would never happen because you’d be happy to be crushed by him

With your constant reassurance and how often you tend to flop yourself on top of him, he eventually just gets used to it.

Cuddle wise, he’s usually big spoon for obvious reasons, he’ll hold you against his chest too along with Inanna being sandwiched by you both.

Again, you tend to be the one laying on him and when he chooses to sleep on his back, you’re laying on his chest and just absorbing his warmth.

I think it’d be obvious, but Muriel would also enjoy being held aswell. When you confront him with the idea he’s flustered because not only has he never considered it but he’s so touch starved.

If you have him lay his head on your chest, being held in your arms or even go as far as have him be little spoon, well his blush is out of this world.

If anything, he’s just happy that you’d want him to feel loved, as if you being around him isn’t enough

It isn’t

He’s basically beet red and he just accepts the affection ,laying there with you because again, he loves it.

Whenever/ if he tries to argue and say that he’s too big or whatever just say that you want him 🔛🔝 of you and just watch him squirm and get so flustered that he forgets

He ends up inevitably bringing it up again, so just cuddle the man

Sleep wise, Muriel is also really considerate. He tries not to take as much space and if you end up subconsciously tugging a blanket that he’s on, he’ll immediately move to give it to you.

Treat him well.

Yes, yes, yes, just yes

She’s the absolute best person to cuddle with, she’s such a cuddle bug and honestly neither of you guys have a preference most times and so it ends in just cuddling however.

Most times it’s either of you on the others chest. Mostly it’s Portia that enjoys having you rest on her and she enjoys playing with your hair or just massaging your scalp.

She’s more than happy to be the big spoon if that’s what you prefer, maybe she’d even tease you for being so “bold” as to ask.

Ironic considering that the instant that you insist on coddling her she’s flushed from head to toe.

Literally almost literally every time you two cuddle she’ll always put a leg over you.

Just a quirk of hers that you’ve noticed and a definite plus is how warm she is which causes you to cling to her.

Which definitely warrants some teasing for clinging onto her like some koala. She finds it endearing though and is definitely worth is since she ends up peppering kisses all over your face

Is it really cuddling with Portia if you exclude Pepi? No, no it’s not

Pepi is so cute!! It’s a well known fact and she’ll always end up crawling and making her way through the bundle of blankets to rest her little self in between you and Portia.

Sleep wise, Portia is also a hit or miss 😭

She’ll either cling to you in her sleep while also being considerate so it’s not bothersome

Or she’ll sleep lazily and drool a bit, causing her to be a bit embarrassed once she finally wakes up.

The worst motherfucker to cuddle with, EVER (up to interpretation whether it’s said with love)

Like he sleeps in either of two ways and neither of them are necessarily the best.

The first way is him being all lovey dovey and cuddly with you while the second one makes you wish death (again) upon him.

The first one is admittedly really nice. He’s in your arms and just being the needy, clingy bastard we all know Lucio to be.

It’s not so nice because of how this doesn’t change even during the summer time. You’ll definitely end up getting a heatstroke because of him clinging onto you one day.

That’s just the first way though.

The second way is him being sprawled out all over you without a care in the world.

His limbs are so freaking heavy too, it’s not like you could escape even if you desperately wanted to.

Worst part? He steals the fucking blanket all the time

Literally refuses to let go of his weirdly tight grip on the blanket in his sleep, leaving you shivering and timbering all night.

And then he has the audacity of getting mad at you for pushing him off the bed.

Asra Alnazar x reader - Intimacy before and after

Summary: just some headcanons that came to my mind about Asra<3

Warning: smuttt, but nothing crazy tho, there are mostly mentions or hints of smut, nothing specifically described (it’s mostly just angst tbh). There are also SPOILERS for Asra’s route and the Arcana plot in general, so if you haven’t finished playing it I suggest you don’t read this post. 

A/N: just to specify, reader is wrote as non-binary:) Also, this is the first smuttish thing I write, so feedbacks and advices are very much welcome<3<3

Asra has always been a passionate lover. It’s just the way he is, his body can’t help but follow the intensity of feelings his soul feels, and transfer it from the level of the soul to the level of the body

When he first met you, it was almost as if a wave washed over him, depriving him of balance, and he could find it once again in the feeling of you and your body, pressed against him

Passion mixes with intensity and haste the first times the two of you have sex. His every movement is a physical demonstration of  just how deep, how powerful, his feelings for you are

Once the two of you are done, you’re left breathless, legs shaking and sore, sweat covering your body, tears of pleasure running down your cheeks. You’re spent in the best way possible

It starts to change during the beginning of the Red Plague. The deep empathy you feel for the people dying in the streets, the desire to do something to help, takes all your desires to feel pleasure (or anything joyful for that matter), replacing it with the urge to help as many as you can

You start growing distant from each other, the atmosphere in the shop becomes tense, the interactions between you and Asra are short and almost void of any emotion. You start visiting the castle more often, volunteering to help doctor Devorak in finding a cure for this Plague. It comes without say that sex wasn’t really in neither of your minds

And it only becomes worse after your death. Asra feels that same wave washing over him, but this time he doesn’t welcome the feeling of it. It make feel lost, knowing that the very person he used to hold on to, the only one that made him forget the rest of the world, and just give into the pleasure the wave brought

This wave brings grief, desperation. Hell, it even brings hallucinations to some point. He can’t make out what’s real and what’s fake, he can’t discern when he’s dreaming and when he’s awake

It’s at this point that his situationship with Julian starts. We all know just how toxic it was, for the both of them. But Julian needed to feel love in these dreadful times, and Asra needed to feel that same feeling of grounding to save him from the power of that wave

It wasn’t the same as you, he knew that very well. Julian couldn’t fill the void of love Asra felt, he could only satisfy his carnal desires, give him that brief high that, for just a moment, made him forget everything that was happening in his life, his losses, his mistakes, his regrets

But not much time passes before that high becomes unsatisfying, and the guilt of what he’s doing takes over him. How can he do this with Julian, when all he’s thinking of is you? How can he deem himself worthy of having you once again in his arms, when instead of keeping the void you left empty, awaiting for your return, he filled it with someone else, someone not even comparable to you in his eyes?

That’s when the weird relationship between Asra and Julian ends, when Asra conveys all his energies and time in finding a way to get you back

At first, there was nothing in his mind when it came to you other than gratitude to have you back along with the utmost care to tend to you, to comfort you when you were in pain or scared at whatever appeared new to you after you came back. Your mind was at the same level as one of a child, there was no desire in Asra other than to have you back as you were

As time goes by, and you regain the aspects of the person you once were, that desire, that wave of passion, starts to awaken once again in him

And then after years of longing for the feeling of you’re touch, of your body pressed against him, he once again can feel that same feeling of euphoria once your bodies merge once again. Only that this time, his demeanor has changed. There’s a different kind of intensity in his actions

There’s not the feverish haste in his movements anymore; instead, he takes his sweet time kissing you, caressing your body, worshipping you as if you were some sort of deity. He holds you as if you’d disappear in his arms if he loosens his grip too much

His thrusts are slow and deep, making that wave of pleasure that’s in him fall into you too. It makes you feel a deeper kind of pleasure, one with such forse that it has you detached from reality once you reach your high, it knocks the breath out of your lungs, and it makes you only desire to hold Asra closer, to have him deeper inside you. You almost wish you could become one

There are still times where you have fast, rough sex, one that ends quickly and leaves you both breathless and spent. But you just prefer to feel that deeper connection, the one that has you longing for more, that morphs into endless hours of just holding each other. It makes you both feel as if time has stopped, and there’s no one else in the world but you two

Fun-Sized HCs: M6 walking in on MC hugging a pillow in their sleep

Asra: “IT SHOULD’VE BEEN MEEEEEE”, sobbing at the doorway before promptly spooning you. Honestly, Azz probably does the same thing too. It just hits different seeing you do it now that they know you might be imagining it’s him. 💕

Julian: Flustered for a moment before clasping his hands and watching you. Debates whether to leave you to rest and pester you about it later or join you. Do this when he’s very deprived of sleep and he might just give in!

Portia: Zero hesitation to remove the pillow and replace it with herself. Does so very carefully, as excited as she is. She’s so warm, you might not notice even if you’re a light sleeper. Teases you about it later.

Nadia: She’s used to being out and about, so she opens the door to her chambers secretly hoping to see you like this every time. It warms her little romantic heart! Starts spritzing a bit of her perfume on the pillowcases when you aren’t looking.

Muriel: As if you weren’t already beaming with cuteness… Fighting the urge to nap next to you in fear that he might wake you. He catches himself staring and goes to occupy himself until you’re awake. Is way more inclined to give you hugs now. 🥰

Lucio: Covers his mouth and hunches over the mantle, trying not to squeal. Gently gives you a kiss on the cheek either holds you or removes the pillow and snuggles into your arms. He claims he can’t do magic, but the pillow has disappeared after that…

Sleeping habits with and without their S/O

Not a request but I had some ideas so I decided to make them into little Headcannons! Hope you all enjoy!

Asra

Because they run warmer they often sleep in silky pants and no top.

He is so touchy in their sleep!! You will never go to bed without him touching you somehow.

If he’s sleeping alone then they won’t move much, maybe shifting occasionally but no more than that.

If you’re going to bed with them however, they’ll end up staying in the same position all night.

When you two are sleeping in the same bed together they like to sleep with their head on your chest, hearing your heartbeat.

Asra doesn’t snore in his sleep at all, but he does occasionally hum!

Julian

He doesn’t like layers at all and this means he’s going to sleep in just his underwear.

This also continues into how many blankets he has, which is just one and it’s pretty thin.

If he’s sleeping alone he has no problem taking up the whole bed. He’ll end up with limbs everywhere and no idea how they got there.

If you’re with him you’ll have to either adjust or figure out a way to get him to relax. He moves almost the exact same amount, somehow avoiding hitting or pushing you most of the time.

Julian runs extremely cold. He likes it cold but he also loves your warmth, and he will touch you will his cold feet/hands in the middle of the night.

Julian does snore but it’s not super loud. His snoring is almost like background noise.

Nadia

Nadia sleeps in a silk nightgown, with short sleeves and that ends near her knees.

She also has a robe to wear over it, which she wears if she needs to get up for any reason.

Nadia runs chilly, though not as cold as Julian nor will she randomly torture you with her cold limbs during the night.

She doesn’t mind who ends up in which role, but she always loves spooning. It’s her favorite way to fall asleep with you.

Nadia doesn’t make any noise in her sleep other than occasional deep breaths.

Muriel

This guy is a personal heater. He still sleeps with pelts due to the forest getting chilly during the night but his hut is always warm and cozy.

Due to how warm he runs he generally sheds some layers ending up in pants and whatever top he’s currently wearing

Muriel always wants to hold you, wants to feel like he’s protecting you even while you both sleep. He also really likes if you face him. He won’t ever verbally express that but the way it flusters him gives it away.

He doesn’t make much noise. Much like Nadia, he might take a deep breath or a heavy exhale. Occasionally, if he’s having a bad dream he might grunt.

Inanna has her own little pile of pelts and pillows next to your bed. Somehow she always worms her way into the bed though…

Portia

Portia sleeps in a sleeveless top and shorts.

She tends to run chilly, but has so many blankets that she gets extremely warm during the night.

She doesn’t care how you two position yourselves for sleep, but she would enjoy getting to hold you!

Portia sleep talks during the night. It’s soft and quiet but definitely there. She’ll be amused if you tell her stories in the morning about what she said.

Pepi can often be found in the bed with you both, near the bottom of the mattress.

Lucio

Somehow this man runs hotter than anyone else on this list. He has no shame in sleeping in just his underwear, even with you around.

Lucio has a robe and thinks it makes him look the royalty role, with its red and gold color scheme he always adores.

He would love to be able to hold you all night but eventually, two bundles of pure white fur end up between you both.

That’s right, the M&M duo aren’t afraid to take what they want even during the night.

Melchior end up on your side, nudging his way into your arms and onto your chest. Mercedes just sits herself on top of Lucio and decides it’s his problem to cope with that.

They’ll push and whine and kick in their sleep. Only if they’re having a very intense dream.

Lucio will snore, grunt, and sleeps insanely light. If you so much as try to leave the bed before dawn he’s snapping his head up asking where you’re going.

✤ Asra headcanons: walking in on you changing ✤ (revised)

Absolutely mortified. Yk the horrified blushing face he makes. That's the one

Leaves IMMEDIATELY, might slam the door on accident

After some silence he'll quietly knock on the door and apologize from outside

"I'm so sorry (y/n), I didn't at all mean to invade your privacy... Are— are you alright?"

He's terrified he's lost some of the trust you have in him or that you'll feel less comfortable around him now. To him, the best thing he can be is a safe space for you

Assuming you give him some sort of reassurance from the other side of the door, he'll feel sufficiently excused

If there's one thing Asra can't cope with it's awkward situations. He'll try hard to distance himself from the guilt and discomfort

In fact, he'll leave the shop entirely: grab the basic necessities like his bag, and find a way to busy himself

He'll return a while later, an hour or two, and come inside quietly. Without making himself known, he'll leave a small bouquet of wildflowers bound together at the foot of your door

When you find it and come out to greet him, he'll be eager to see you but treads lightly while he tries to gauge your reaction

Reassured to see you relaxed, he murmurs one more apology, holding your hands in his

"I am sorry, my love." He presses a kiss to the back of your hand. "What sorry fate awaits me for my transgressions?"

He's happy to be at your disposal, should you play along. Either way, he spends the rest of the evening pampering you <3

MC Who Sleeps Like The Dead - Headcanon

A/N: for another lovely anon! I just finished drawing one of my OCs to prepare for art fight, so I’m feeling a bit more inspired than usual! Please let me know if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes :) requests are open!

This is a man who runs on stress and caffeine, so he’s always up at ungodly hours of the night

Your ability to sleep through every instance of him stubbing his toe or bumping his head, or just generally swearing at whatever script or medical case he’s having trouble with at the moment is a blessing in his opinion

Of course, on the rare occasions that you manage to get him to bed, he’ll be as out of it as you are, if not more so

He flails in his sleep, and since it won’t be waking either of you up any time soon, there’s a good chance you’ll both end up with some mystery bruises

He’ll feel a bit bad about it in the morning, but it’s nothing some kisses can’t fix

🧡Portia🧡

Considering how tired she usually is by the end of the day, she’s a surprisingly light sleeper

This can be a problem for her when Pepi decides she wants to make biscuits and Portia’s the only potential victim around

So when you two start sleeping in the same bed, she sacrifices you to Pepi and makes sure she’s the one sleeping next to the wall

Pepi seems satisfied with this arrangement and leaves Portia alone, meaning she gets the sleep she needs and you get a cat to cuddle with while you’re unconscious

It’s also great for when she needs to get up early for work; she can make as much noise as she wants while she’s getting ready, and you’ll sleep right through it

💛Lucio💛

No no no, this will not do

Lucio operates under the assumption that if he’s awake, you’re also supposed to be awake

So if he’s having trouble sleeping while you’re snoozing away next to him, he will be trying his best to wake you up

His attempts will start with whispers and a couple gentle pokes, but when you don’t look like you’ll be getting up soon it quickly becomes less subtle

This man will fully kick you off the bed and onto the cold floor to get you up

If you sleep through that, he’s gonna get really close to your ear and scream

For the sake of everyone else nearby, you may need to learn to sleep less heavily

💚Muriel💚

He’s a light sleeper thanks to anxiety, and he doesn’t really understand how someone can sleep as deeply as you do

In the early days of your relationship he was a bit worried that there might be something wrong with you

Once he settles into the idea that you Will Not Be Woken Up before you’re good and ready, he takes full advantage of the extra alone time it gives him

It’s nice to just coexist with you and go about his day without worrying about waking you up

Once Inanna took a nap on you and he thought you may have actually suffocated under her, but turns out you were fine

He does not mention this to you when you wake up

💙Asra💙

While he certainly sleep often, he does not sleep heavily

If he’s sitting down, then he’s probably already at least 10% asleep

He doesn’t usually sleep in the traditional sense, and instead takes a few extended naps throughout the day

So when you’re getting your proper 8 hours, he may be laying awake beside you, gently rubbing your back and reading a book

He likes that his sleep schedule doesn’t affect yours, and that he gets to see you so peaceful and far from the stresses of life

💜Nadia💜

Most of her life is on a pretty tight schedule, so your sleep habits are not something she’s particularly fond of

If you’re asleep when she wakes up to begin her day, then she’s learned not to bother trying to wake you

She’ll kiss your temple and try to find some time to spend with you at the end of the day, but she misses the quiet moments you two could share while the rest of the world starts to wake up

Overall it’s not a hassle, just something she has to adapt to

Unless of course there’s an early morning event that you’re also supposed to attend with her

Then she’s trying to figure out the most gentle way to pry you from the hands of sleep (she may quite literally drag you out of the bed and start getting you ready before you wake up)

A/N: We're back! In this specific scenario, you basically brag about something your partner did to a friend and they happen to be close by and overhear or walk by and don't notice them at first.

Asra:

He definitely slinks around longer just to hear everything you have to say

They love getting to hear your perspective and how you see them

That is until their reserve for being perceived runs out -they have their air of mystery for a reason MC- and they come out of their hiding spot, only to side-hug you while you are still talking

Compliments you and starts bragging about you right back to see your reaction

The moments after are just them taking the teasing to a whole other level about all the things you were talking to your friend about

But you can see the way his ears have turned pink and the fact that he can't stop smiling

They still become curious about what else you would have said if they'd let you go on while in bed and ask just before you're about to doze off.

Nadia:

Quiet acknowledgement from the sidelines with a very self-satisfied smile on her face

Doesn't tell you she overheard

But the pampering and the romantic gestures go up significantly for the next couple of days

And the traits you praised also happen to appear more frequently

Unless it's one of her sisters you are bragging about her to

Then she'll come out and firmly stand next to you as you flush with a look that says "Well…keep going dear, I for one am very interested in what you have to say"

Either way, she takes this as a chance to listen to your unfiltered feelings and the things you admire about her as a partner and she loves knowing that

Julian:

Here's the thing: He probably does the same for you at least three times a week at the Rowdy Raven or with every acquaintance he has

But he will never get used to the praise coming from you

Normally, he would immediately turn the mountain of positive comments right back at you

But right now he is at a situation where he can't brush off your remarks in a self-deprecating matter since you are sharing it with someone else

Welp…he's stuck buffering in his spot for as long as this conversation lasts

Comes back pretending he didn't hear you

But by the way his face is starting to ressemble his hair, you can tell he definitely heard (and maybe you did it intentionally too)

If you think he's not going to take this as an opportunity to compose an epic of everything he admires about you and present it to you later on in the day, you'd be wrong

Muriel:

*Becomes one with the shadows while you are talking and assumes the shade of a tomato*

This is way too much attention than he can possibly deal with and it's not even directed at him

Oh my gods, you are still going…

He can't stay for much longer or else it's a very strong possibility that he'll combust

After your friend leaves, you can't find him for a good chunk of time after you last saw him

And that is because he immediately went back in the woods to mentally recharge after the litany of praise

He wants you to feel apprieciated too though, even if verbal affirmations aren't exactly his strong suit

So he later comes home with a bouquet of different flowers and compares things he knows about each one to some of your traits

Portia:

Barely able to suppress her delighted giggles as she listens from around the corner, thinking you haven't noticed her

She has a hard time with her self-esteem and being put first, so seeing you praising her in front of someone else is such an unconditional and personal expression of love for her

Which in turn translates into an extreme case of Cuteness Agression

Squeezes you soooo tight when she comes back later, that it makes Faust's Squeezes seem light

When you bring it up with her, she simply says that she 'happened to overhear' with that signature UWU* smile of hers

Hope you are ready for this woman to spoil you for the remainder of the afternoon

Has the biggest smile the entire time and just won't stop giggling

Lucio:

Doesn't even try to listen in or wait for you to finish your sentence

When he realizes the conversation is even the littlest bit about him he's immediately coming up, hugs you and becomes part of it

"Yes exactly all of that is completely true and they are lucky" kind of smug smile the whole time.

Then proceeds to brag about YOU in turn to the poor person that has to hear you two fawning over each other

Let's be honest, he isn't all that restrained when it comes to expressing how much he loves everything about you (and himself)

Struts around proud all day while trying to find ways to compliment you more

Looks at you like lovesick puppy for a good amount of time afterwards

Unfortunately he can take a lot of things as a competition, so be prepared for him to compliment you and LOUDLY brag about you to anyone within earshot.

𝐈𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐫𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 . . . that finally confessing his feelings would have led to this… He would have borne his heart to you a lot sooner. His low lidded eyes threatening to shut after a long day of travelling, but still he couldn't sleep for whatever reason. He was far too restless. So he props himself off the pillow to lean on his elbow instead, his hand keeping his head high as he watches your chest rise and fall slowly . . . Peacefully. He snickers occasionally at how cutely your nose twitches in your sleep or how you’d shift a little every now and then but never roll too far from him. It felt like you needed him close just as much as he preferred you to be. Observing you from afar was never enough for him. His entire being craved to be near yours.

Without hesitation his left arm lifts itself, almost without his command, reaching to wrap around your waist tentatively again. To pull you close. After such a long time away from the shop. It almost felt . . . foreign to hold another in his arms. He was no stranger to opening his eyes to the bright beams of sunlight and an empty bedside. But with you around… He didn't feel quite so lonely anymore. There were too many emotions to describe the whirlwind of emotions going on inside him. Happy to see you. Longing to touch you. Wishing to be yours wholeheartedly. Far too much excitement at the thought of spending his day with you . . . But the most intense one of them all was fear. He was afraid. He was scared.

And it was all because of you 

Gently cradling your body close to his as if you were made of glass. Your presence is both comforting and intoxicating to him at the same time. He gets lost in it sometimes. Lost in a way that his mind gets dizzy with just the mere sight of you. His heart aching to hear your melodious voice and to see that beaming sleepy smile. Directed at him of all people. How lucky was he to have something worth losing. Especially when all his life was spent alone. He never attached himself to anyone after his first relationship. Losing his parents, his friends, and so many more things. He had learned early on not to depend on anyone but himself. Yet he . . . He couldn't imagine losing you in any way shape or form . . . He fell for you. Hook line and sinker. He couldn't imagine his day without your gentle humming echoing through his shop. Couldn’t imagine missing the moment you'd blow a kiss towards him when a customer's back was turned to you. Couldn’t imagine loosing you at all.

Infact he loathed the idea of you even being out of arm’s reach. It felt like he was loosing you. He really didnt like it at all . . .

Not when you’d slip out of his arms to cook late breakfast. Not in the crowded marketplace when you'd both rush to get the last batch of the baker's famous pumpkin bread. But especially not to the plague rumoured to be spreading rapidly all over Versavia . . . A worried look flashes across his face at the thought. Brows furrowed in deep contemplation as he pulls you closer to him. His grip tightening. The thoughts of the plague far too upsetting to linger upon. Burying his face in the crook of your neck to breathe in your scent. He keeps you as close to him as possible. Not wanting to entertain any thought of the situation to come . . . More and more people were falling victim to it, he could only hope that when the severity was far too great, that you'd be willing to leave the city of Versuvia . . . His brows furrow at the uncertainty that his sleep deprived mind just raised. Of course you would! . . . Why wouldn't you want to leave a plague infested city with him? Why would you risk your own safety for others? . . . Why would you when he's all you need? There'd be no harm to befall you . . . Not when he'd still around to protect you . . . And protect you he will, until his very last breath has left him. He can't do that if you won't listen to him, but that doesn't mean he won't try his damn hardest to save you. Yet before he can wonder further upon the topic. His mind begins to turn hazy. Too tired to worry any further, and he finds himself drifting away with you in his arms. Right where you belong.

Ranking the M6 by how much brainrot they would consume

1. Asra- the epitome of brainrot. Makes brainrot, reposts brainrot, lives and breathes brainrot content.

2. Portia- the occasional brainrot enjoyer, mostly follows the cat related things

3. Julian- Julian is more aware of old school brainrot, the newer stuff just confuses him...does know some references because of Portia

4. Lucio- he thinks he gets it, but he really doesn't...

5. Muriel- it confuses the hell out of him, nods along whenever Asra shows him anything but is secretly concerned for their mental well being

6. Nadia- she is so above it, i doubt she even uses social media that much. If someone shows her it she will only be confused, maybe ask a question or two, and then swiftly forget about it.

Arcana HC... M6 + others with an MC who randomly bakes in the middle of the night

Muriel: Just don't wake him up, and clean up any mess you make. He probably really enjoys waking up to anything you bake, although he might not say it.

Julian: He loves it. This man is either passed out on the sofa/cushion pile, or sat in the kitchen with you making bad jokes and flirting.

Nadia: It throws her sometimes, as in she stirs and reaches out for you just for you to not be there. Please bring her up some of what you've made, she'll see it in the morning and adore it. She will check that you are sleeping enough though.

Portia: It's on. Not only does she love waking up to anything you make, she will absolutely bake things for you when you're sleeping. It becomes a sort of competition between you two. (Reward her with kisses)

Asra: They are occasionally awake. Might help you with the cleaning part but leaves most of the baking to you. Asra will bring you anything he thinks would be good from his travels, in return for some of your baking. Will he smell something tasty and wake up? Maybe.

Lucio: Barely notices until he can't sleep and catches you doing it. He was wondering where all the tasty treats were coming from... He will brag to anyone who will listen about how talented you are.

Valerius: He doesn't understand you, not that he'll tell you to stop. Surprisingly he will try everything you bake except he will be extremely honest. Ask his opinion if you're baking with some sort of alcpohol (wine specifically), he is more than happy to help.

Nasrin & Namar: Praise. They adore anything you bake them. If one of them can't sleep expect company in the kitchen. Please let Namar lick the bowl/spoon, it will bring him great joy.

If I can think of anything I might do a part 2 with Nadia's sisters, and the other courtiers. <3

You wake him up because the snores get the best of him, but when he does, sometimes Jules likes it when you spoon him or let him rest on your chest before starting the day

Muriel

He is still out like a light but holds onto you tightly if you wake up before him, gentle snores and heartbeat soothing you back to sleep against his warm chest

Nadia

Spooning you when you wake up, long beautiful hair tickling your face, she’ll call for breakfast in bed for you both and your start to the day is a whole spa day arranged for you both

Portia

She woke up before you and lies on your stomach to watch you wake up, smiling when you wipe the sleep form your eyes, and has some kisses to spare too

Lucio
