STRIDER!!! i have a very clear image in my head of him ok. short king. like 5'2. dark skin, lots of scars from various incidents, keeps his hair in cornrows bc he does not want it to be loose and long bc during his trigger event it was grabbed and pulled a lot while he was getting beat up!!! briefly debated cutting it all off but he did just start growing it out after being made to keep it short in foster homes and he doesn't wanna reset that progress ANYWAY after joining the greats he usually still wears hoodies and jeans, but now he's finally got a little bit of Spending Money so he wears some techwear stuff sometimes, and he might throw on some simple jewelry like thin chain necklaces and the occasional ring or two. no piercings tho, does not want things people could yank out of his skin!!!! the simple jewelry does make him feel like he actually stands out a lil bit more. also V IMPORTANT he finally gets some fucking mobility aids after joining the greats!! he wears a knee brace on his right leg sometimes and he also has one of those sword canes!!! it's got a poignard dagger hidden in it!!! his hero costume is like. fantasy rogue shit. black cloak with a hood, scarf over his lower face, and he wears combat boots EVERYWHERE no he doesn't care if they dont go with his outfit GRAYSON, they're good fucking boots and they're COMFORTABLE dammit!!! may occasionally wear platforms. he likes 2 feel tall

grayson!!! honestly i feel like i'm doing him so dirty w the image of him in my head bc he's a tiefling in canon but here he's just a basic fucking white guy. basic as shit kind of nerdy looking white guy. there's practically nothing to work with in canon for grayson all we know if that he's described as stoic so i'm taking that as hes autistic as hell and doesn't know how to fucking Talk to people. nerdy ass white boy obsessed with medieval shit!!! he's got curly brown hair and has glasses and wears like button ups and shit like that. his costume is a full suit of armor with dragon motifs and he fights with a two sided polearm!!! i have decided tho i would like him 2 have some vaguely inhuman traits??? idk how traits like that work in worm yet tho, like idk if it's a cauldron case 53 specific thing??? i don't think it is but PLS correct me if im wrong!!! i just want him 2 have tiny horns or maybe other small tiefling traits like a tail or something if that is in any way possible without him being a case 53. just as a Nod to what he is in canon bc if i just make him a white boy with no inhuman traits whatsoever i would be like That's Not Grayson who tf is this cracker!!!

LITERALLY so fucking tiny!!!! squish her like a bug!!!! i always imagined her in canon with sailor moon ass purple pigtails so i think she's got purple hair. maybe she's the reason virion dyed his idk idk!!!! out of costume she dresses like she shops at claire's tbh. mabel pines but grown up. silly shaped earrings and pants with rhinestones on them and silly graphic tshirts and comfy cardigans!! girl WHAT are you even wearing!!! in costume she is SO different though. she has been underestimated bc of her appearance so she wants to make sure people know she is Not To Be Fucked With. i am so bad at cape costume design so idk exactly what it would look like but im picturing like. black bodysuit with bright blue spiky armor that looks like ice over the vitals, the arms and legs of the bodysuit are cut off to leave them bare because she's transforming her limbs into water and ice in battle more often than not, and her head is wreathed in ice to cover her face and hair. she WILL change her legs into tall ass ice spikes and walk around towering over everyone with her featureless spiky ice head. horrifying thing to see coming at u!!! like slenderman but elsa flavoured

gender rant under the cut

ok here's the thing i've been on t for a little over a year now and i had top surgery back in september of '22 so like i'm cooking right im a little guy in an incubator and my voice has changed for sure and my bottom growth is growing and im getting more hair in places etc etc so like things are happening right. but i'm also 5'2" and have a big ole ass and while my voice has changed it isn't changed enough to pass and while yes i have more body hair plenty of cis girls have more body hair than me and like basically i'm getting on and off dysphoria for not passing. i don't even WANT to pass as a cis man, i just want to NOT be read immediately as a girl. you know? and frankly i'm happy with the body hair and bottom growth and it'd be nice if my fat redistribution kicked in a little more but i'm comfortable with my weight etc etc like....frankly i think it's mostly the voice. the voice and the face. like if my face looked more boyish and my voice sounded more boyish i think the rest of my body would coast cause i've seen enough chubby guys of various shapes to not really feel that self conscious about my body. it's the face and voice that sell it.

and the other thing is like....i have this thing where it's like 'i don't pass as a boy therefore i'm not one' when i don't put that requirement on any other queer person but for ME living it mentally? it's hard to put together the 'i walk around and am read as a girl, and i was raised as a girl, and hell i frankly WAS a girl up until my 20's like that's a part of who i am and im not ashamed of that, i love child me she is important to who i am as a person and frankly i'm grateful to be trans in that way, i think growing up a girl can make me a better guy" (and yeah there's a lot of privilege to be able to say i love being trans, i'm in a large city and work in an industry where queerness is accepted and often celebrated so like. i know. i'm really very very lucky and im extremely grateful for that) but mentally, it's hard for me to even see myself as a transmasc person when i don't SEE it physically, AND because my insides are still me. like i'm still me. and i didn't grow up as feeling like a boy in a girls body. i'm still some kind of nonbinary, still very queer in general, like being bi puts an interesting spin on this too since i have never been and don't associate my personal self with lesbian spaces, or gay men spaces, i sort of float in any queer generalities that people are into. but yeah, never really clicked with lesbian specific environments. i love lesbians but im just not one.

BUT i was raised a girl, so i feel COMFORTABLE around women, often times more than men. queer people in general of any gender are number 1, but ya know. the gist is coming off of a gig the last month that was very queer coded in the musical we were doing, and being surrounded by queer women making lesbian jokes, i felt...simultaneously left out (no one was leaving me out, to be clear, i mean within my own personal identity crisis lol) and also too included. i don't know. a lot of it is in my head, people are often good about my pronouns and frankly i don't KNOW how my usual colleagues see me as a person, if they have to work harder to reframe their interpretation of me away from "girl" and into "transmasc person" since i worked with a number of them before i started medically transitioning. thankfully i always read as a queer person haha. i have that going for me, which does feel very affirming.

idk. even my own apartment decor gives me dysphoria sometimes, which drives me crazy!! i like my apartment decor! I keep trying to do little things to "masc" it up, neutralize it a little, even tho i love all the things i've put in my home. i need new curtains.

there's nothing more to do about it right now i guess, besides try and take more active steps toward my legal name change, and potentially switching from t gel to injections, but that scares me because i'm afraid of doing it wrong and hurting myself. the gel is safer that way. and the dose is daily so i think it gives are more consistent level throughout the week. i also don't know exactly how much i want to pass as "just some guy" even tho this entire rant is literally about that. i think that my fear is that i look cis/straight, which frankly idk that i ever even would based on how i am as a person, so idk why i'm worried about it. basically, i want to stop feeling like i'm 'pretending' to be transmasc. cause sometimes it feels like it's all a lie and im actually just a girl who doesn't want to be a girl but is stuck as one. especially since i don't want to be a cis guy either. i also don't want to lose my ties to my past - i don't connect with womanhood, but i don't want to lose the "sisterhood" for lack of a better term? Modern AU Part 2!

So remember how in part one I mentioned that there is a North and South Hyrule Field and that I have a couple of OC's(original characters) that I am throwing into the Modern AU well I'm going to talk about that and all the others that are in the AU in a bit

But to start Heights Ages and Names first let's do the names, yes names, so like obviously names like Time, Twilight, Legend those are all nicknames do they respond to them yes because their nicknames and everyone that has a nickname responds to a nickname but here is my personal opinion on what everyone's names actually are and this only applies to the chain not the zeldas now moving on

Time: his real name is Tony, yes Tony I actually sit around thinking about it for a while and for some reason it just fits to me, so this makes his actually full name Tony Thymons yes Thymons is his last name....... I think it's funny

Twilight: Travis, this boy was born and grew up in the country even before he was adopted by Time and Malon, and I will not accept him being named anything that is not a name you would typically find in the country

Warriors: Max, idk he just looks like a max to me also he reminds me a little bit of a character named Max from the original Beyblade series

Wild: oh my gosh I spent more time thinking about what this boy's name would be than I did Time's, and honestly it took me quite a bit but after thinking it over I decided Chase was a very good name for him

Sky: Sam, Sam is a simple easy name and I just feel like simple and easy fits Sky so well

Four: this was another one that was tough to decide on but after re-reading Linked Universe all the way up to the latest update my mind decided that Victor suited him so yeah

Wind: for this AU I have a personal little thing where I imagine that his grandpa was a sailor named Jack and that he is named after his grandpa so his name is Jack

Legend: Jason, I just feel like the name Jason fits him so well

Hyrule: Joey, I don't know he just looks like a Joey to me

Okay so now Ages and Heights, for the ages and the Heights I'm actually going to include Fable, Flora and Aryll because why not

Time: 38 to 43, and I'm going to say he's anywhere from 6'5 to 6'7 because this man is tall I mean we've all seen him stand next to the rest of the chain he makes literally all of them look small

Twilight: he's about 22 to 23 and this boy is also tall not as tall as Time but still in the over 6 ft range but he's probably 6'2 or 6'3 because we see that he's at least a good 3 or 4 maybe 5 inches shorter then Time is

Warriors: 21 to 22 this boy is 6 ft even and thank hylia for that because everyone else in the house thinks that there's too many tall people

Sky: 23 to 24 and he is either 5'10 or 5'11 either way he's not that much shorter than Warriors

Wild: 17 he has one more year until graduation and he will not let anyone forget this, he's 5'8

Hyrule: 19 to 20, he's either 5'7 Or 5'9 and that's only because I can't decide if he should be shorter then Wild or taller than him

Legend: 20 to 21, he is 5'5, also his height might be partially me projecting on to him since he's one of my favorites and I am also 5'5

Wind: 13 to 14, 5'2 or 5'3 and still growing

Four: 18 to 19 and he is 5 ft even

Fable: 20 to 21, she is 5'4 and a half like seriously she is barely barely shorter than Legend

Flora: 17 like Wild she also does not let anyone forget she has one more year until she graduates, she's 5'9 yes she is taller than Wild buy one inch but she is still taller than him and whenever he annoys her she annoys him back by reminding him of this

Aryll: 6 to 7, she is 4'1, but she's also really energetic so it makes up for it

Now moving on to more important things

North Hyrule Field High and South Hyrule Field High have a competition going on between the two schools this means competing against each other in everything from basketball to cheerleading and let's not forget the great Romeo Juliet off of 2001 (Malon was Juliet and Time was Romeo for South Hyrule Field High)

Of course this makes for some very interesting things like Twilight actually met Midna because he had to go to a basketball game because Warriors plays basketball and no one can tell me different and Midna was actually drug there by a friend of hers and the two started talking and then found out that they were from two different schools Twilight from South Hyrule High and Midna from North Hyrule High, and yes Midna and Twilight are dating no one knows how it happened but it happened

Also North Hyrule Field University and South Hyrule Field University are just as bad about competing with each other as the high schools are

Sky's girlfriend Sun(his Zelda) attends North Hyrule Field University, while Sky attends South Hyrule Field University he is both okay and not okay with this he picked the university that was closest to his family but at the same time he really wishes he was going to the same University as his girlfriend because he really loves her and wishes they could spend more time together even though they study together and work together and she spends so much time at Lon-Lon Ranch that people are starting to think that Sun lives there

Anyways the ones that I live in and attend either school or university in South Hyrule Field are as follows

(Obviously Time and Malon live in South Hyrule Field since that's where Lon-Lon Ranch is and Time is the sheriff of South Hyrule Field so won't be counting them on this list)

Okay so we're going to start with the chain and the girls or as I like to call them "Time and Malon's cluster of Chaos Gremlins" okay so from oldest to youngest let's go

Sky: despite attending University for a while he doesn't actually have and set major or minor he's like one of those University students that's basically taking classes for a little bit of everything

Twilight: he's majoring in agriculture yep the dude that lives on a ranch and does farm work EVERYDAY is majoring in agriculture, however one of his miners is architecture

Warriors: got into University on basketball scholarships but is studying and majoring in theater/drama/acting

Legend: he's studying music, mythology and weapons yes weapons like weapons throughout history he's studying that I feel like we should all be concerned

Fable: girl is majoring in both history and mythology, and Legend always makes sure to sit on the far side of the room away from her

Hyrule: he is studying to become a doctor and no one can convince me otherwise

Four: he's studying history, philosophy and hylian( you know how we have English class it's like that) but he's only majoring in history and philosophy

Wild: he is still in high school with one more year until he graduates and he is looking forward to that last year

Flora: also in high school and looking forward to graduating since there's only a year left until her and Wild do but she's excited to graduate and go to college Wild just wants out of high school

Wind: middle school but wishes he was in high school despite all of his older siblings telling him it's not as great as he thinks it will be

Aryll: Elementary School she enjoys it she has friends and she is still talking about the trip to the zoo that trip was 3 months ago

Now on to the other people

Sheik(Time's Zelda): has extremely good music knowledge especially when it comes to instruments and singing literally could have been a music teacher but instead is a fighting instructor who owns thier own gym oh and they use she/they pronouns, also they're like one of Time's best friends

Minnie(Four's Zelda): also before anyone says I'm calling her Minnie because of the Minish Cap no your wrong I'm calling her Minnie after Minnie Mouse anyways she's attending South Hyrule University and is majoring in philosophy and hylian alongside Four

Tetra(Wind's Zelda): she has played everything from football to baseball to basketball she likes Sports, her and Wind have been friends since kindergarten and obviously in Middle School

Artemis(Warriors Zelda): she is majoring in science and art but she's also on the University's baseball team and she's possibly in love with Warriors no one can really tell

Mipha: friends with Flora and Wild also in high school and is one year away from graduating she is captain of the swim team also she has a crush on Wild but hasn't confessed to him yet Flora has told her she definitely should though

Okay so now I'm going to talk about the two OC's that I have in this AU and then we will move on to the people that are in North Hyrule Field

Okay so my OC's are Revia and Romi

Revia is Romi's mom and she owns like the best store in town because her store is not just a hardware store and a farm supply store like where you can get feed for your livestock and everything(think like a mixture between Home Depot and Tractor Supply) it is also a clothing store and it always has the most up-to-date fashion as well as some fashion choices from like back in the day, everyone loves to shop there Twilight also works there so does Hyrule, Flora and Legend

Romi is as previously mentioned Revia's daughter she's 21 to 22 about 5'9 or 5'10, and she's attending South Hyrule Field University she's studying the "Fine Arts" like filmography, photography, acting, costume design you name it she's most likely taking a class for it she also works at her mom's store and like Sky's girlfriend Sun, Romi spends so much time at Lon-Lon Ranch hanging out with her friends that people are starting to think that she lives there it doesn't help that she does spend the night sometimes (I might draw pictures of Revia and Romi later but idk)

Now on to North Hyrule Field

Revali: this dude has moved around so much also currently attending North Hyrule Field University before that he was attending South Hyrule Field High, he graduated a year before Wild, he's originally from Rito Town, but move to South Hyrule Field around high school and for some reason took an instant dislike to Wild as soon as they met no one knows why after graduation decide to go to North Hyrule Field University where he is currently living in a dorm Hylia I feel sorry for his roommates

Sun: Sky's girlfriend, going to University for religious studies, also her and Sky have been a thing since like Middle School Sky might not be Time's Kid by Blood but he is following in his dad's footsteps, her and Sky text and call every minute they're apart unless they're in class but if they're not in class and they are not with each other they are to either texting or calling there is no in between

Ravio: Legend's friend that attends North Hyrule Field University, no one knows what he's majoring in but he does hang around the ranch a lot

Other people that live in other places in Hyrule that are in this AU

Llia: Twilight's best friend she was suspicious of Midna the entire time that Midna and Twilight were dating, she actually ended up developing a dislike towards midna because Midna moved away without telling Twilight and broke up with him before that but wouldn't tell him why(although Twilight insists that Midna must have had her reasons for what she did) once she was old enough which started in Middle School every summer she would get a job working at Lon-Lon Ranch this continued through high school and is still going on every summer she gets a job working at the ranch also possibly had a crush on Twilight at one point, she lives in Ordon Town which according to her isn't that very far of a drive from Ordon Town to South Hyrule Field Twilight thinks otherwise and that she should stop trying to make that trip at night

Saria: Time's childhood best friend who lives in Kokiri Town, and is actually ordained, she was the one that officiated Time and Malon's wedding, the cluster of chaos gremlins call her Aunt Saria

Urbosa: mayor of Gerudo town, she's also a licensed therapist she is also the best at getting gifts for people like she always knows what to get someone Flora calls her auntie

Riju: Urbosa's daughter who admires wild way too much like seriously someone please stop this kid from trying to act like him

However Wolfie does not always sleep in Twilight's room or bed if one of the other kids has had a bad day then Wolfie sleeps in their room

Four, Sky and Aryll are the only ones that don't have to share a room with anyone

The ones that do have to share rooms are Warriors and Wind, Legend and Hyrule, Twilight and Wild, and of course Fable and Flora

Sky's the oldest so he does not have to share a room with anyone Four doesn't share room with anyone because he cannot sleep if he's in a room with other people

And because Aryll is the youngest she gets the room closest to Time and Malon also known as the room that no one else wanted to be in

Every single person in the house listens to different kinds of music you can walk up the stairs and every bedroom will be playing different music that's not even counting the fact that Malon in the kitchen is playing different music than what the kids are playing in their rooms (I'll talk more about the music thing in part 3 because oh boy do I have so many thoughts on what everyone listens to)

However on the flip side of that Time doesn't usually play or put on any music he usually just listens to whatever someone else is playing this man will listen to any kind of music really

Legend will only wear pants if it is cold however if you take him to the beach you can talk him into wearing swim trunks

The only ones that actually likes taking care of the cucco's is Sky and Malon, Time will take care of them but he does not like to the others try to avoid it at all costs

Twilight and Malon are the only ones with country/southern accents a lot of people in the town have trouble understanding them at times but the whole family understands understand what they say without any trouble

All of the kids actually love helping Malon in the kitchen but some are better at cooking and baking than others

All of them including Time can either sing dance or play musical instruments, and Malon loves how Lively the house is when they all decide to do this at the same time

All of the kids have asked Time to sing them to sleep at some point in while growing up, Aryll still asks him to so does Wind but that's a secret so don't tell anyone.

fr she's literally a fashion design major ( + minoring in business management ) and she shows up to class in skilfully done drugstore makeup and an absolutely killer outfit for like 15 bucks

she grew up poor, and she's still poor now, even if she ( thankfully ) managed to scrape a cheerleading scholarship

sav, flicking through a rack of dresses labelled $4 apiece: RIP to little miss rich bitch reynolds but i'm different ;)

no hate to allison she's awesome but she grew up in the lap of luxury surrounded by designer brands so she knows NOTHING about thrifting and rationing money in general

oh and sav and allison have kind of a frenemies thing going on bcs they're both fighting for the top spot of their fashion design course

they spend the whole day shopping and aaron ends up with a highly upgraded wardrobe that contains a lot of cute pastel stuff and sav's promise to do his makeup

aaron insists on paying for dinner at the really nice pizza place a short drive from campus even tho they all protest

and andrew knows he's found new friends, but has no idea that it's the vixens and he's dating one of them. nicky does tho, but he's sworn to secrecy

nicky thinks his new clothes are adorable and is stunned when aaron tells him the total cost

"oh my GOD that girl sounds like a genius."

cleo, the only one with a properly functional family, is going back to her big family house and loving parents and grandma and aunt and siblings and cousins. love that for her.

so aaron and sav are stuck at psu for 2 weeks and aaron's surprisingly cool with this. and sav's excited bcs for the first time since her mom died, she can spend her christmas with someone she actually wants around instead of her shitty-ass father and his constant stream of bitchy girlfriends

they spend a lot of time together, stealing food from the athlete's dining hall to make their own weird combos, which usually ends with aaron making something Cool and Interesting and sav gagging and spitting out whatever strange concoction she had previously insisted would taste good

i literally can't bring myself to give a shit about the twinyards' deal bcs andrew literally became best friends with renee?? and hooks up with guys at eden’s??? idk what's going on there but it's like andrew is trying to control aaron's life while he can do whatever he wants??? and honestly wtf????

also let me just make it clear that i ADORE andrew so so much he's one of my favourite comfort characters ever but i'm not gonna make excuses for his shitty behaviour. i fully believe he heals and puts away his pride to apologise to aaron, nicky, and kevin for his treatment of them

that's definitely not to say that aaron's internalised homophobia isn't eww, but with so many important people in his life gay, he makes a huge effort to get over it

so andrew just thinks that aaron is spending a lot of time in the library or out with nicky or something

and when aaron tells sav about this deal, she's kinda horrified, but it's pretty clear to her that aaron so desperately wants to fix his relationship with his brother, and she's not in any place to discourage him, is she?

the only thing she can do is hope that he won't come out all the worse for it

and stare at the boy curled up on the other end of the pale pink sofa cleo's parents had gotten, wonder just how much shit he'd been put through, and decide she was going to be his best friend

aaron's face has gone entirely impassive. sav nudges his fluffy-socked foot with her own, then reaches out to smooth the crease between his eyebrows. "careful, you'll wrinkle your pretty little face."

aaron is very caught off guard by this, and very promptly flushes bright red, which contrasts with the pale teal hoodie he stole from katelyn

"okay, enough talk about depressing crap. wanna go make christmas cookies now?"

"yeah."

so they make christmas cookies. well, it was supposed to be christmas cookies, but it turns into double chocolate fudge cookies somewhere along the line. neither of them knows how

them baking together is the definition of chaos. they're still blasting songs, and sav is singing along terribly

"yOu'Re A mEaN oNe, Mr. GrInCh," while poking aaron's cheek as he tries to mix something. he throws a handful of flour at her. "yOu ReAlLy ArE A hEel."

anyways obviously sav retaliates and that ends in a flour fight. it only stops when aaron deadass cracks an egg on sav's head and she smears chocolate into his hair

she also tries to make him sing along to baby, it's cold outside

"i'Ve GoT tO Go `wAAyyy~" she holds a spatula up to his face

"go away."

they video call katelyn, who takes one look at the mess in the cramped dorm kitchen and sighs so loudly and dramatically that her dad pops in and asks if everything's okay

aaron freezes up at the sight of him and sav quickly turns off the camera, bcs they both want to make good impressions on him, and being covered in various cookie ingredients just won't cut it, ya know?

the cookies turn out delicious and sav sends all their group chat various photos of the process, most of which consist of selfies with her making goofy faces while aaron is simultaneously baking and flipping off the camera

plus a several videos of sav enthusiastically dancing and mouthing the lyrics of, as follows, all i want for christmas is you, let it snow, and santa claus is coming to town and aggressively pointing a spatula at aaron

"c'mon aari, just sing! please??? please???? please you can do it i believe in you!!"

finally he just. gives up. "okay, you know what? fine, i'll sing to ONE and then you will STOP bothering me you insolent dumbass."

sav beams. santa baby starts playing. aaron is very clearly going through five stages of grief in 0.5 seconds

"go on," sav says sweetly as she slides in next to a pouting aaron, "i'll sing with you."

sav slings an arm around his shoulder and sways with him, so it's just her doing that and him grumpily mumbling the lyrics

and when the cookies are cooling down, they start cleaning the kitchen up. aaron rubs some spilled egg yolk into sav's hair but it goes pretty okay otherwise, since they're just listening to more christmas songs and chatting about light stuff, like aaron's biochem course, sav's fashion course, and their dumb classmates

aaron mostly listens tho, and learns that sav kind of hates allison reynolds for giving up her inheritance when she would do ANYTHING for even the tiniest fraction of that money

1. Are you named after anyone?

My middle name is after my maternal grandmother's middle name, which she went by. My parents agreed that if I was a girl I'd have a middle name for her side of the family, and if I was a boy, one for his. At the time they thought but weren't totally sure I'd be the only kid, I think. Had I not been, I think they would've tried to get a name for the other side of the family in there somehow.

2. When was the last time you cried?

A month or less ago. I've felt near tears but not actually cried since I started my vacation with my friend, at least.

3. Do you have kids?

Only when I'm at work.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

A little but probably not a lot. I'm a bit too literal, though I do have an ironic or dry sense of humor and the absurd.

5. What sports do you play/have you played?

I've never played an organized sport outside a gym class in school. When I was little, I liked to throw a basketball at a hoop with my dad. It wasn't regulation height, though tall enough for him, and I could do it. I grew up to be short. I always wished, in retrospect, that I could've done competitive or team dance or gymnastics, but my parents weren't so inclined.

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people?

This is a surprisingly difficult question. I struggle with eye contact with new people, especially those I would consider peers or senior to me. I guess I notice a person's overall vibe and role in a situation and their voice/tone.

7. What's your eye color?

Hazel.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I like the aesthetics of horror but don't like hopelessness. I enjoy happy endings, but hopeful is more important.

I'm a good typist and writer, I guess.

My favorite hobby is writing fanfic/fandom RP, but doing it independently and consistently requires a special mood to strike. I like trying and eating foods I like. The dog my mom adopted as a semi empty nester is still with my dad and my now stepmom. His name is Charlie.

that's a good question+ i feel like for her, she feels deep attachment to the people close to her (more than she would let on LOL), so she would go for the important person without thinking twice. (or she would think about it after the fact and feel grim, but ultimately wouldn't regret her decision)

HOOOOOOO BOY do i ever <33333 i based her big plot situation on myself, and her enemy is based on someone who used to be my friend long ago, who ended up hurting me. i feel very close to her because of that i think (also she makes the WORST puns and awful jokes that garner faux threats of murder from the group and i just think that's perfect)

OKAY HELL YEAH HELL YEAH!!! so her full name is nerizana valjyre, a high elf who was raised by her single mother in the woods to the side of a decent sized town. when she was a child her mother went off one day and then never returned, leaving 5 year old neri an orphan. she was discovered 3 days later and brought to the small orphanage existing in the nearby town, where she met her foster brother and newfound friend, ashik.

they started going off and becoming a pair of young robin hoods in their teens, stealing from rich pompous bastards so they could afford luxury items for their orphan mother and show her their appreciation, until ashik slowly became more corrupt with a lust for power, and was driven into robbing even kindly and lower class folks, even through threatening violencr - despite nerizana's resistance.

on their final bout together, while they robbed an upper class member, ashik stabbed nerizana and ran with the loot, leaving her for dead as the police promptly arrested her

and several years later, she escaped prison with a vengeance, her single goal to being to find ashik and kill him.

ALL’s Not Fair in Love and War (edited)

A/N: Hey Wispies! Here’s the edited version of chapter 1. So, there’s not much of a change in the plot. It stays the same. Hope y’all like this one!

CHAPTER 1- PAIN

2 Days Before Leaving for West Berlin

21th February, 1981

"I cannot believe you Russ! How could you!" Rei shouted. This was the nth fight she was having with her husband. Adler sat on the sofa, frustrated, his hand in his hair. "A fucking child! You're tormenting a fucking child, Russ!" Her face was red, she looked livid. She had always been against using the MK-ULTRA program on anyone, but now, they wanted to use it on a 16-year-old kid. What annoyed her more was Adler treating the kid like a tool- a loose end that needs to be tied up once they've achieved whatever they need.  "That kid should be out there with other children, enjoying and partying- not in a lab getting fried and then getting killed!" She screamed, her body shaking from anger.

The same fight on the same topic, just like the last two weeks ever since Adler had saved a kid from a near-death situation in Trabzon in Turkey- not just any random kid, no. But this kid was one of the few members of the inner circle of men Perseus trusted. Damn, he was one hell of a kid with a burning determination to survive. And to not give in to any amount of torture and interrogation thrown at him.

As a last resort, when Hudson finally lost the last drop of patience he had left for answers he "ordered" Adler to perform Mk-Ultra on the kid, which Adler could have easily denied to do, just like how he killed Qasim, despite Hudson's 'orders' to bring the man back alive.

As she kept shouting, Adler finally lost his cool. "Damn it Rei! Every fucking day- do you have to throw this shit at me?" Adler stood up. Adler ran his fingers through his hair, frustration and anger written all over his face. "You have fucking changed so much over the last few days- what is wrong with you?" Adler was never the kind to let his anger take over. He would always put on his calm facade, but today, he lost all his patience. A part of Rei wanted to back down- she knew she pushed all his buttons. But she didn't, she was just as adamant as Adler, if not, more.

"That fucking kid is a spy! He worked for Perseus-" Rei chuckled darkly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Perseus, yes. The only person you've been obsessed with. Wow, Adler!" Adler walked closer to Rei. He towered over her 5'2'' petite frame. "You fucking know why." He growled, deeply. "And from when did you start caring about a random kid so much?" Tears had already started streaming down her face. Her once beautifully painted eyeliner smudged and running down her cheeks. "Really? You don't know why I care so much?" The hiccups kept swallowing her words. "Adler that is a fucking 16 year old child! You are going to torture a child! What if this boy was someone like Ril-" Before she could complete her sentence, Adler slammed his hand on the table, earning a soft gasp from her.

Why is Perseus so important to Adler, you ask? Well, for one, it's the era of the Cold War: the legendary glaring competition between the United States and the Sovient Union. Second, the United States was hardly united on anything. Sadly, for Clandestine Special Officer of the CIA, Russell Adler, it was his job to make sure that with the current situation, Perseus should get NOT A SINGLE CHANCE to shift the balance of the Cold War, unless he wanted to be a part of the grand cremation of the West, sponsored by the USSR.

"Riley is fucking dead, Rei! Get the fuck over it" Adler shook Rei's shoulders vigorously. But once he saw her flinch after his sudden outburst, he knew that he messed up. She looked pale, like a small petrified cat. Her lips quivering and her eyes wide open. She stared at Adler, deep into his eyes- the anger in it now turned to regret and sorrow.She shook her head lightly, in disbelief. "You're an asshole, Adler."

She pushed Adler off her. Taking her jacket, she left the cosy warm house into the biting cold streets. The house was a mess. Papers and files everywhere, clothes thrown on the floor and a hell lot of bags. With a frustrated sigh, Adler went to the kitchen to get a drink. "Fucking hell." He muttered, pulling out a bottle.

Hours passed since Rei stormed out. Adler had dozed off on the couch after finishing an entire bottle of Bourbon. The room was dark, with only a small ray of streetlight illuminating the room. He groggily woke up to the telephone rininging. Cursing under his breath after tripping over a chair on the way, he finally made it to the phone. "Hello?"

"Adler, it's time. West Berlin, by tomorrow night." It was Hudson. It was time for them to start off.

"Rei." No answer. "Rei?" Adler called out for her softly. Still no answer. His muscles tensed and heartbeat rising.

He walked into their bedroom. Opening her closets, there were only a few clothes that belonged to her. Papers- divorce papers. And a letter. 'Sign the papers. I will take the rest of my belongings after the mission.'

Letting out a deep sigh, Adler crumpled the letter and threw it away, after reading it. It was from Rei. Lighting a cigarette, he walked to his balcony. A lone tear fell off his eye as he looked out to the bright stars of the night sky. He missed her and he wanted her back.

"Are you sure that's all you have?" Park asked Rei once more, before leaving for the airport. "Positive."

"Alright then."

When Rei left the house, she ran into Park at a little Café. Lucky for them, the plan was that Rei and Park travel together first, where they meet up with Lazar and Sims at the safehouse, while Adler join the team with Bell.

Special Officer Helen Park, from the MI6, personally recruited by Russell Adler for the hunt. It was one fine morning in London, one of the few days when sunshine actually seeped through the windows of her apartment that she got a call from Adler for the mission. It was easy for Adler to pull strings of Park, she being one of MI6 best assets especially in international assignments and biological warfare and because of their prior business.

Park and Rei's friendship goes long before both of their entry to the world of Intelligence, war and espionage. They were in the same college, Oxford. Although Park dropped out earlier after the death of her brother, they maintained their friendship through the years.

"Rei, I know you're against the whole idea of Mk-Ultra on Bell. But...now we know quite a lot about Perseus."

"It's not just about performing the programme on him, Helen. It's the whole idea of what happens after. For now he trusts us, and just like how he was betrayed by Arash, he'll face it again with us once we're done. Neither the CIA nor Adler will let him live." Park glanced briefly at Rei. Her eyes were swollen from crying.

"I know they won't. But since we made Bell a spy from Mi6, I think I can pull him out slowly." Rei smiled lightly, hoping that it would be possible. "Besides, the boy knows a great deal about Perseus. I'm sure he'll be of some use to MI6, with Perseus and his brilliant cryptography skills and multilingualism."

Adler was not the type to ignore an order unless he was convinced that there is either another way round or that the order might have adverse consequences. In this case, a very complicated case, Adler's stance was understandable, but Bell does deserve the benefit of doubt, doesn't he? Maybe Park and MI6 could pull him out of the sticky situation.

The rest of the ride went quietly. The airport was not crowded, much to Rei's happiness. A crowded airport was an unbearable one. Too many people, too much noise and too sweaty. Now all they had to do was finish their formalities, rest in a lounge and then go to Germany, finally to the safehouse that included two helicopter rides. "Ugh what a pain." Rei muttered, a scowl on her face.

"That wasn't so bad." Park chuckled nervously at a highly sleep-deprived and hungry Rei getting off the helicopter, walking towards their rented car. They had just finished their exhausting long journey. Airplanes and anything that flies- Rei hated them with a burning passion. Ironically, the girl loves to travel to different countries. Right now she was like a zombie. Rei just groaned. "Can we at least get some food before going to the safehouse?" She wailed softly. Park smiled at the girl, shaking her head lightly. "Alright. We'll get some take-out and go to the apartment first, freshen up and change and then head to the safehouse."

"Great!" Rei hopped towards her car, taking the driver's seat.

My sense of humor is dry and I like to banter with people I'm comfortable with, will return sass with sass. But I'm also genuine and never mean to hurt people's feelings, and I get timid when people raise their voices or get frustrated, even if I'm not the source. I also have a habit of giving out life advice and wisdom when I see someone hurt, only because I feel lost in the world and wish someone would be there to guide me as well.
