You and Aryan were on set again, waiting for the next scene to be set up. It was a romantic comedy, and you played the lead roles—two best friends falling in love. Fitting, since you and Aryan had known each other for a while and had become close. Real close.

It was easy to act with him. You could say the lines, look at him the way your character was supposed to, and it all felt real. Because it kind of was. The more time you spent together, the more your heart sped up whenever Aryan smiled at you. But you didn’t know how he felt, so you just stayed in your lane, afraid to ruin anything.

Today’s scene was the big moment where your characters had their first kiss. Your nerves were all over the place, and Aryan noticed.

“You good?” he asked, sliding into the chair next to you. “You’ve been kinda quiet.”

You forced a smile. “Yeah, just thinking about the scene.”

“Ah, the big kiss, huh?” He grinned, trying to lighten the mood, but you could tell he was a little nervous too. “It’s not like we haven’t practiced before. We’ll nail it.”

You nodded, your stomach doing flips. The director called for you both to take your places. You walked over to the spot marked on the ground, Aryan standing just a few feet away.

The scene started, and everything came naturally—laughing, teasing, the light touches. Then the moment came. You both leaned in, and for a second, you forgot you were acting. His eyes softened, and his hand brushed your cheek. You closed your eyes, waiting for the kiss.

Cut!

The director interrupted before anything happened, adjusting a few things about the lighting. You and Aryan stepped back, shaking off the tension.

“That was close,” he whispered with a chuckle.

“Yeah,” you replied, feeling your face heat up.

Before the next take, Aryan leaned in close, his voice just above a whisper. “You know… I’m not just acting when I look at you like that.”

Your heart stopped. “What?”

“I like you. For real,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck, suddenly looking a little shy. “I’ve been trying to figure out when to say it. Guess this is as good a time as any.”

You stared at him, processing what he’d said. “I… I like you too.”

The smile that spread across Aryan’s face was pure relief. “Good. So, maybe after this, we can… I don’t know, hang out? Just us?”

You grinned, trying to keep cool, but you were on cloud nine. “Yeah, I’d like that.”

The director called for the scene to start again. As you both got into character, the lines felt even easier this time, knowing that the feelings behind them were real.

When Aryan leaned in for the kiss this time, it wasn’t just acting anymore.

PART 1

“Did you know there’s a new kid in the camp? He killed a minotaur!” You heard a group of half-bloods loudly discuss this interesting news, way too loudly.

“Wait, is it- does he have a-” I looked at Annabeth hoping it was the kid who Grover went to protect. I haven’t spoken to Grover since he left, which was a few years ago. We both became close after Thalia, Luke, and Annabeth joined the camp. He told me about everything, he knew a lot. Listening to him talk about Pan and everything nature was my favorite activity to do. He would tell me about different creatures. He would tell me about herbs and their medicinal properties. Flowers and their meanings. Gods. And him. The last one was my favorite.

“yes he has a satyr protector, yes its Grover”

“Oh.” Grover. I had been waiting for him for so long, and now that I knew he was here I didn’t know what to do. What to say to him?

“are you not going to meet him? I thought you leave as soon as I said yes”

I laughed “I do want to meet him but he is probably tired, also he probably is going to show Percy around first”

“Percy?”

“it’s the new kid, Grover told me his name before he left.”

“Ah of course he did.”

“Do you think it could be him? I’ve seen you watching him.”

“Maybe.” Her gaze shifted to a boy standing near Chiron and Mr. D. I saw Grover run behind him. Grover. It was a little daunting to see him after this time. Like watching a movie, you loved as a kid, and were desperately hoping it was as good as it was before.

“You want to go to the woods? Or stalk him a little more?” Annabeth gave a death stare that shut me up. She was like a little sister to me. A dangerous one though.

I walked alone to the woods. There was a little canopy made by a few oak trees which I loved to sit beside. Grover helped me carve it to perfection and since his departure, it has been a space where I could feel at peace. Grover and I have been best friends, but it has almost felt like a breakup since he left. I’ve had my friends move away while I lived in the mortal world, and never see them again. This feels exactly like that. I just don’t want to feel like we are strangers, maybe this is why I’m running for him.

The bright sunlight peeks through the trees, and the wind rustles the leaves. It was a beautiful sight. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath soaking all of this in.

"Hey"

I didn't need to open my eyes to know who it was, I remember his voice well enough. "Grover. Hi."

"You still come here?" He sat down beside me.

"Of course I do, it's still my favorite place. People are so awfully loud in the camp." I looked at him, and I finally completed processing he was safe. For years I was worried something might happen to him.

"Percy killed a Minotaur."

"What?" I knew it. But I'd rather hear him tell me the whole story

"Yeah! he- I he killed a Minotaur. He lost his sword too mid-fight and he jumped on his back. Pulled off a horn on its head. I'm not even joking. I know this sounds like I'm making it up. The Ares Cabin does not believe he killed a Minotaur. Imagine telling them this story. Yeah, so he pulled off a horn, stabbed the monster, and killed it. Before that, he killed a Fury too. Like, this kid killed a Fury and a Minotaur in less than 24 hours." His eyes sparkled like they always did when he started rambling about something he enjoyed.

"Oh God, maybe this is the kid Annabeth has been waiting for. Did you keep the horn?"

"Of course I did, this doesn't happen very often now does it."

"No of course not which is why the whole camp found out about it two hours after you arrived."

"You knew about it?"

"That the kid killed a minotaur? yes, that he jumped on the monster's back and pulled off a horn and stabbed it to kill it? no"

We both looked at each other, Grover kept silent like he was hesitating to tell me something. "Tell me, Grover."

"What?"

"Whatever it is that you are thinking about."

"It's kind of deep and sad."

"Yeah, and I can only deal with rainbows and sunshine."

"Okay! So his mom, Minotaur got a hold of her and she disintegrated. You know, kind of like Furies do when they die. In no sense am I saying I have watched a mortal be killed by a Minotaur before? But it didn't seem....right. So I was thinking about it and maybe...."

"Hades."

"Yeah."

"Yeah you could be right, but it's a maybe. Just be careful whatever you do with this information." I looked at him, and I realized this was probably the first time I had looked at him since I realized I had fallen in love with him. "So you're not showing the kid around, that's like your favorite part."

"He doesn't want to see me."

"What? How's that possible, everyone loves you."

He laughed "I had to get him kicked out of the school, then his mom died cause i was getting him across."

"It was not your fault, and he will come around. If he doesn't then he is stupid."

He nodded "So what's up at camp. How's Annabeth? Luke?"

"Camp is the same, everyone's favorite part of the day is when Mr. D yells at someone. Chaos is everything. Annabeth is still on the watch for the kid that will go on the quest, which right now appears to be Percy. And Luke. Well, he found his glory, the best swordsman in camp."

"And you?"

"Me? I am spending my time switching between hobbies and talking to Annabeth. My uh siblings? I guess were helpful-"

"Siblings? Did you get claimed?"

"Oh yeah you left before that, ta-da i got claimed."

"WHAT? Who? No i want to guess! Uh- Athena?"

"Nope"

"Aphrodite?"

"Nope"

"Dionysus?"

"That was ONCE. GROVER. ONCE. I got drunk once and you are going to hold it over my head for eternity."

"But you drank a lot, A LOT. It took almost twice the amount of wine to get you drunk than what I saw Clarisse drink."

"Ugh Grover please don't- anyway back to-"

"ARTEMIS?"

"You really should stop guessing, I got claimed by Apollo"

"Wow, that makes sense."

"Your guesses were nowhere near it."

"How did you get claimed? And when?"

"She actually got claimed right here." Annabeth threw her arms around Grover.

"What? Really?" He looked from Annabeth to me.

"Actually not exactly here, but nearby. She saw it."

"She actually ran away from this spot so no one finds out about her quiet place. Well I came way too late, I saw the blinding light for half a second but she looked like she was made of gold."

"What were you doing to get claimed?"

"Nothing," Annabeth replied hastily.

"Nothing what do you mean nothing?"

"It's what she always says, she doesn't know what made Apollo claim her."

I have a fair idea of what might have made Apollo claim me, but it's far too embarrassing to even say it aloud. It was just a few months after Grover had left, and his absence had made me realize quite a few things. I realized I had fallen for him, and that maybe I might never see him again. Those few weeks were really hard on me. And Annabeth at that time was using her time to become a skillful warrior. This made me take a few skills and one of them involved guitar. It was an instrument I learned before camp and felt safe to pick up again. I would come out here every day and play a few tunes and leave I was far too scared that the children of Apollo the God of Music and Poetry might see. I felt insecure because of their talents and was content being my own audience. That day I had started humming along to a tune, unlike other days where I would stick to songs I had learned. I began to sing whatever came to mind, and as cheesy as it may sound it was Grover. I liked what I wrote and felt proud of it so I continued. As I developed further into the song, I was interrupted by Apollo who had claimed me. I immediately feared this would lure people into this quiet safe place so I bolted. I ditched my guitar behind a tree and made a run for it. People luckily only saw me quite a few miles away from the canopy. But I'm not gonna admit this to anyone. Everyone still thinks I have no capability except humming to songs very very quietly.

You smiled at the camera “Hi my names y/n y/l/n” as you let the others introduce themselves.

“My names walker scobell”

“My names leah sava jefferies”

“And im aryan simhadri”

You and the others discussed that you would do the intro when they finished you spoke “And we are doing the weird autocomplete interview!” One of the workers handed you guys boards with your names showing blank lines.

“Alright who should we do first..?” Aryan says looking at the boards. Walker looked at you smiling “I think y/n should go first”

“Yeah I was also thinking y/n!” Leah added on you laughed softly “Wow.. of course it’s me” Aryan handed you the board with your name on it. You sighed “I’m scared to what people have searched about me” Aryan laughed to your comment. You saw the first blank.

You read it out loud “What’s..” you ripped off the piece of paper finishing your sentence “Y/n y/l/n favorite color?”

You turned to your friends “Do you guys know what it is?” Leah spoke right away “Is it ( your favorite color )”

You smiled “Yes good job!” Since she was right next to you, you gave her a high-five. You looked at the next question “What…” you ripped off the paper once again “Character does y/n y/l/n play in percy jackson” you looked at the camera “i play hazel levesque”

You looked at the other question “What happened to..” you ripped the paper off “Y/n y/l/n foot?” You suddenly remembered what happened. Walker had a laugh “oh my god I remember this!” Aryan nodded “Yeah why don’t you tell them what happened y/n?”

You laughed softly looking at the camera “While filming i broke my foot.. it was honestly kinda funny” you smiled.

Leah spoke “And it’s crazy how you still filmed! Like i could never” Walker nodded “Yeah y/n is a strong person” you smiled at his comment.

You looked at another question “What is y/n y/l/n eye color” you looked Walker and you looked at your eyes “There ( your eye color )”

You nodded looking at the camera “There you go..”

You finished the rest of your questions and threw the broad behind you “alright that’s all for me” It was now Aryans turn and he read his first question “aryan simhadri rolling in the deep”

You laughed right away and so did everyone else Aryan put one of his hands on his face smiling “No.. I don’t wanna remember this guys.” You looked at the camera “Guys go search rolling in the deep by aryan simhadri, you guys will love it!” Leah laughed softly.

After some questions it’s now Walkers turn. Aryan handed him the board he adjusted himself in his seat “Okay.. who does Walker Scobell love” It got kinda awkward.

You broke the silence making a joking “Me.. and Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri.” Leah looked at the camera with a smile. Walker looked at you and nodded “Yeah.. you guys.. the cast of percy jackson I love many people.” He nodded and looked back at the board. “How old is walker scobell” he looked at the camera “I’m fifteen years old.”

He finished and now it’s Leah’s turn. She grabbed the board “Alright let’s see what people say about me” you smiled and Leah pulled off the paper “What has Leah Sava Jeffries been in.” She stopped for a second then looked at her friends “Uhm I’ve been in this one movie called beast, this other movie called… something from Tiffany, and now I’m in Percy Jackson!”

You made a small comment “You were amazing in the beast I saw it with my family you did good!” Leah turned to you smiling “Thank you!”

She did the rest of her questions and now it was time for the cast to answer questions about Percy Jackson. They let you told them board “Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians for kids?” Leah said reading the question.

Leah nodded softly, you sat yourself up “Yeah it is for kids. There’s nothing bad so I think your kids would be okay watching it” you said.

Aryan read the next question “Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians good?” Walker shrugged “I don’t know you’ll have to find out for yourself” you laughed softly he was right maybe watch it and you’ll see after.

You read another question “Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians just like the books?” You made a confused look “I mean.. what do you think it’s based off..?” Leah laughed “No y/n.. be nice about it” you smiled “What? Like I’m just saying it’s obviously just like the books.. there something out of place but overall yes”

Walker and Aryan also laughed and after some questions it was time to end it. You threw the board behind you once again but you accidentally hit Walker in the face. You turned to him laughing “Oh my god I’m so sorry are you okay?” Aryan and Leah were laughing and Walker was too.

“Yeah I’m fine it just hit me in the head” he said with a smile you gave him a side hug with a laugh “Im sorry again I didn’t see your head there” Aryan spoke “Y/n your always hitting someone” you turned to the camera with a smile “Okay guys you know what…”

Leah spoke “Okay that’s all we have for you.. today as you can see we are chaotic like always!” You laughed covering your mouth “Thank you guys for watching! Go watch a Percy Jackson and the Olympians streaming on disney plus!”

You slumped against the door of your room, tears streaming down your face. The weight of the day was too much, and you couldn’t hold it in any longer. Aryan, who had been hanging out at your place, heard the muffled sobs and knocked gently on the door.

"Hey, it's me. Can I come in?" His voice was soft, laced with concern.

You didn’t respond, but the door creaked open, and Aryan stepped in. He took one look at your tear-streaked face and immediately sat down beside you. Without saying a word, he pulled you into a comforting hug.

"Hey—no, no. It’s okay, cry it all out. I’m here for you," he said gently.

You clung to him, letting the tears flow freely as his hand rubbed soothing circles on your back. His presence was like a calm anchor in the storm of your emotions. Aryan didn’t rush you or try to force words out of you; he just stayed there, holding you until the tears finally began to slow.

"Aryan he's just my friend" i chuckle in disbelief on what he was mad about "No he's not i could tell" he argues "Why are you even mad anyways we're not together" i state

“sure baby, turn around” he says which i did as he hooked my ruby necklace that matched my dress and his suit around my neck. Hearing a click of the clasp i turned around facing aryan “i love you” i looked up at aryan placing my hand on his cheek pulling him in for a deep passionate kiss “and i’m proud of you” i added smiling aryan grinning back “thank you pretty girl” he responds kissing me again

Arrived!

You woke up to the sound of a lady saying the plane is landing. You sat up from Walker's lap and looked around. 

"Morning Annabeth" Walker smiles to you

"Morning Percy....wait isn't it like 5 pm?" You ask

"Well...yeah but it's morning for you" He replies

You grab your things and start walking off the plane when you suddenly stop

 "WHERE IS MY PHONE?! SOMEBODY STOLE MY PHONE...WALKER" you looks at him suspiciously

"Hey I'm innocent this time" Walker says with his hands up

You roll your eyes and go back to your seat and see it fell on the floor

"FOUND IT!" you annouce

"See!! I. AM. A. PERFECT. ANGEL." He says smiling a goofy smile

"Sure you are" You pat him on the head as he rolls his eyes

You get to the hotel. The man at the front desk is giving you your keys

"Here are your room keys. You are all in one suite but there are 3 rooms. Mz. Goodjohn and Mr. Bushnell will be in the dual bedroom. Mr. Simhadri you will be in the queen room. Finally Mz. Y/l/n and Mr. Scobell will be in the king room-

"What?! I don't wanna share a room with him! He snores!" You say a little loud

Walker just looks at you with fake offended expression

"Don't make that face" you say annoyed

"What face?" He says like he doesn't know

"That one-oh wait it's just your face" you joke

"Well now I'm gonna make this face until we both die" He says

"Well if you do...that day might come a lot sooner for you than you think!" You jokingly threaten

"You heard it everyone! She is plotting against me" Walker yells

Suddenly you hear squeals from about 50 feet away

"Oh no" You mumble

"Ahhhh it's Walker Scobell!!" The girls all squeal in unison taking videos

"Good job idiot now everyone knows we are here" You say annoyed

"Oops" He says under his breath

One of the girl runs up to the two of you

"Omg!! Can I get a picture?" She asks

"Sure" you and Walker say together

You stand to Walker's right and the girl was on his left. Suddenly she shoves you out of the picture and cuddles up really close to him. You fall down she pushes you so hard. 

"Are you okay?" Walker asks you and immediately runs to your side (ruining the picture) followed by Aryan, Dior and Charlie

"Yeah" you say as he helps you up

He hugs you as the girl just glares at you

Apparently she didn't care that you were bffs with Taylor Swift. Apparently she didn't care that you were 10 times as famous as Walker. (No offense to Walker)

"You moved and ruined the picture. Lets take another" She demands rudely

"The nerve of some people" Dior rolls her eyes

"NO" Walker says flatly and walks away with his hand on your waist

"No?! What do you mean no?!" The girl screams at the two of you

"You just shoved my girlfriend out of the picture then said it was blurry. That seems like your problem." He says and pulls you in tighter as the two of you walk away

"What about you guys?!" She says (on the verge of a hissy fit) to Dior, Aryan and Charlie

The three just start laughing hysterically at the idiocy of the girl as you smile

Walker notices this and kisses the top of your head

"I love you" He says sweetly

"I love you more" You reply

You were now up to your room

This is the suite⬆️

You look around and see only one bed.

"Oh ain't no way I'm sharing a bed with you too!" You protest

Walker just shrugs

"You're sleeping on the floor" you say to Walker

"What?! No I'm not!" He replies

"Yes you are" you repeat

"No I'm not"

"Yes you are!

"Goodness just share!" Aryan rolled his eyes

"Fine! But if you are annoying in any way shape or form I will kick you out of the bed. And I mean it! I will kick you!" You threaten

"Does she think she's in charge?" Walker says to Aryan

"Did you think she wouldn't be? Come on she's Annabeth" Aryan laughs

You were ignoring Walker and just thinking which side of the bed you wanted. 

"Dior which side of the bed do you think I'm less likely to be murdered in?" You ask her

Walker just turns around confused as Aryan and Charlie walk off laughing

"Hmmm...well I would think the one by the window because the murderer would probably use the door." She replies

"Wait wha-" Walker gets cut off

"Yes but what if he climbs in the window" You point out

"True. Hmmm...honestly i would go with the one by the window." Dior says

"Okay!" You smile

"Wait should I be offended you want me to be closer to the murderer?" Walker asks

"Yes" You reply with no emotion

"Well...RUDE" He laughs

It was raining outside

Idk I had trouble finding an outfit this time 😭 feel free to change it pookies😘

You all were playing board games all night (well so far it was only 10pm)

Dior was the banker

Aryan and Charlie voted Walker to be the banker while you and Dior voted Dior. 😝

You threatened Walker to vote for Dior so he reluctantly did hehe

Walker was sitting to your left, Dior to your right and Aryan was next to her and Charlie next to Walker. 

"Oh no" Walker grumbles

"Ha! Yes! You owe me $1000 seaweed brain" you say smugly

"How do you have so much money? I have $1500 left and you're taking $1000!" He complains counting the money

"I don't know. I think you're just a terrible Monopoly player" you laugh 

As Walker was distracted counting his money Dior (secretly) handed you a thousand dollars🤫

You wink at her

"Here. $1000 stupid girl" Walker rolls his eyes

"You mean wise girl" Dior says

"Nope" He smirks

"Idiot" You roll your eyes

"My turn!" You smile

You land on Dior's property

"How much?" You ask

"Uhhh...$50" She hesitates

"Okay!" You grin and start to hand her the money

"Hold on!" Walker says

"Uh oh" You mumble under your breath

"$50 for the boardwalk with a hotel on it?!" He questions as he quickly stands up and snaches the card from Dior

"Hey!-" She complains

"Ha! This says $2000!" He slams the card down on the table

"CHEATERS!" He points at the two of you

"Fine" you roll your eyes and attempt to hand Dior the money

"Hold on a second" Walker says and takes the money from your hand

"This is $200" He waves the money in your face

"Can't blame a girl for trying" You laugh

It was about 10 minutes later...

Walker was looking around himself and under things

"What are you looking for?" You ask confused

 "Some of my money is missing" He says still looking

"Did you look behind you?" You question innocently

He turns around and starts looking behind him as you reach over and grab some MORE of his money

Suddenly Walker's hand grabs yours and he turns around with an mischievous smile

"You really think I'm that stupid?" He smirks

"Yeah" you giggle

"Theif!" He yells

"I don't know what you're talking about" You say innocently with his money still in your hand

"What do you mean?! The money you stole from me is in your hand!" He holds your hand up to show you

"How did that get there!" You gasp as if you didn't know

"You're a cheater!" He says

"And? Did you expect me not to be?" You giggle

"I hate you" He replies

"I hate you more!" You reply 

"And you two!" He suddenly yells at Charlie and Aryan

"You two saw all this and let it happen!" He accuses

"They were giving us a cut" Aryan shrugs

Walker looks over at you fake shocked as you nod smugly

"YOU ARE THE WORST AND-" Walker yells at you then gets cut off by the lights going out
