The song is pretty straightforward with its message so I probably didn't need to make an analysis post but it's my routine to do so and also I'm Not normal and will put this through the AruChaco lens instead of the more obvious and intended lens of this being a song for Pekkle

The bird cage is Pekkle's kingdom. Arupek was content with his kingdom and never left it until Pekkle sent him out to visit the other kingdoms so he could truly be free, experience other kingdoms and expand his horizons

Each character works to achieve their own goal. Pikero his "targets" or subjects of his research and experiments, and Arupek for a peaceful life. The imagery makes it sound like something is drowning. They're leaving behind and "drowning" the weak parts that doubt themselves and continue to rise up

"Wings" in the song can represent strength and self acceptance. Other people can help you achieve those things, but if what they tell you is negative, you need to learn self resilience and to push through any struggles that hinder you

A conversation between Arupek and Chaco and things Arupek wanted to express to him. The first three lines in the 1st image are things Chaco had said to him. Chaco is hesitant to fly because he doesn't feel "free" being his true self, a self he currently wants to change.

Arupek is said to have one wing because he gave the other wing to Chaco, helping him fly together, wanting him to be free too. He wants Chaco to embrace himself no matter how black, white, or gray his "charcoal" (heart) is

Looking back at Charcoal White's lyrics after this, it's easier to see that Chaco's truly preventing himself from being "free" like arupek since he doesn't like his true self (a seed) in the first place
