a/n: It is here! This was the fic I wrote first, it was the one I was most excited about, and I hope you all like it!

She turned another page, not looking at him when she spoke, almost amused. “Do you always watch your customers read or is it just me?”

She glanced up at him again, slightly annoyed as well as amused. He pinked again. “Just thought that the books downstairs might be more your speed,” he mumbled, gazing around the loft, with its low slanted ceilings and books stuffed in every nook and cranny. No one really came up here.

“My speed?” Those vibrant lavender eyes darted up to meet his gray ones. Her voice cooled. “What do you mean?”

“Just that the mysteries and fantasy genre seems more your alley, didn’t think you’d be interested in the classics.”

The pert plump red lips that had been smirking at him downstairs now pressed to a fine line. “Do you always insult your customers’ intelligence?” she snapped.

Well shit. “Ah…I just meant…”

“I think I know what you meant Mr. Snow.”

He stared at her dumbly. “How do you know my name?”

“It’s on the front door,” she laughed, rolling her eyes. He flushed, embarrassed. Oh yeah, duh. She uncrossed her legs, leaning back in the chair, tapping her nails on the book she kept in her lap. “Jon Snow, proprietor. Tell me Jon Snow, what makes you think I don’t read high literature? Is it because I was also perusing romance, fantasy, and suspense genres downstairs or the young adult section? Or was it the series about a threesome that I also plan on buying? No, it’s the fact that I’m a woman and so I can’t possibly be interested in anything other than those types of books, right? Or is it because I’m an actress and I must be a ditz?”

2. What is your favorite spot in your house and why?

where i am right now, actually. we have a great shady patio with twinkle lights and a chimnea and a nice little backyard. today is a beautiful day and i get to spend most of it out here with my kitties lazing in the sun. wish i could plant some flowers, but alas... quarantine.

3. Name a celebrity that if you never saw them again you’d be ok.

4. What is your favorite candle scent?

anything conifer-related

5. Favorite part about being home?

i am fortunate enough to get alone time that allows me to write, and now that i have a lap top i can do that on my bed, in my office or outside. unfortunately, i don’t have a living room right now, but that’s okay.

6. Least favorite thing about your mother?

she’s unrelentingly conservative, no matter what. just yesterday i was talking to her about unemployment, and she was saying that the benefits were “too much” and people wouldn’t want to go back to work. like, mom, that is the last thing you need to be worrying about right now what the fuck. she also tends to one-up you whenever you try to talk to her about a problem you might have. ie: “money is tight right now.” “well, if you think you have it bad just think about what i’m going through” UHG.

7. Favorite holiday and memory that goes with it?

i love halloween. three years ago, we hosted a halloween party at my old place and we had like 30 people show up all dressed up. i dressed up at Lydia from beetlejuice and my friend dressed up as beetlejuice. it was just so much fun and that’s a wonderful memory for me. my friends and i have all taken turns hosting Halloween parties, but that one really stands out for me personally. 

8. How do you like your steak cooked (if you eat meat)?

medium rare. 

9. Mushrooms: yay or nay?

yay!! especially with steak. yum.

10. N’Sync and Backstreet Boys were ten times better than 1 Direction: True or False?

seems like bit of a leading question there ash ;) i’ll say true, just because N’sync and BSB were the boy bands i grew up with. One Direction is not for me, it’s for a whole other generation, and that’s okay.

This is it!  After 8 years and 10 fabulous rounds of the Dramione Remix Fest, this is the final farewell!

Your three mods just want to take this final opportunity to say a big THANK YOU for your support and love of the fest all these years!  Special thanks to Amethyst and ashleyfanfic for creating this amazing concept in the beginning and to slytheringurrl for her modding efforts.

Moderating for you has been a real privilege and it's been fun. Sometimes, it has been hair-pullingly frustrating. All of it, though, has been SO WORTH IT!

Needless to say, huge kudos to the authors and artists who have put their blood, sweat, and tears into creating fabulous submissions over the years—and what a variety of funny, dramatic, imaginative, sometimes terrifying pieces they’ve shaped and shared!
