Hello everyone!

When we saw the promo pics for Kit Harington’s werewolf movie in June, we knew we had to make an event for Halloween. No other holiday or time of year inspires as much uniqueness and creativity whether it’s modern or canon, spooky or sexy. We had a great time putting our favorite ship in many different spaces and time, and hope you enjoyed it too.

This event marks the last event our blog will be hosting. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this event and prior ones whether by submitting your wonderful creations or by supporting and showing your appreciation for the writers, artists, and editors.

Under the Same Stars / Ch 12 / Whatever You Tell Me, I Will Believe You

“It’s not about a girl and a singing tree,” she told him in a whisper, “it’s about a man who hears a woman's song coming out of a weirwood.” Her heart began to race, her mind catching up with her own words while the bard recounted a tale very much like her own. ��The woman’s song is sad and mournful,” she translated. “‘I’m a woman of Valyria, the Children have stolen me over again, the tree seemed to say. I stood upon the hill, and the wind did rise, and the sound of thunder rose across the land.” Dany swallowed as her eyes misted. “I placed my hands on the white bark, and I traveled to a far and distant land where I lived for a time among strangers who became lovers and friends.’”

Breathless now, she wasn’t sure what was real and what was not.

“I know this story,” Jon said. “They’re always about maidens traveling far from home.”

Sorrow clutched her heart as the story continued to unfold. “But one day, I saw the moon come out, and the wind rose once more. I touched the weirwood, and traveled back to my own land.” Dany lay a hand over her heart as she took it all in. “She went back through the weirwood.”

“Aye,” Jon conceded simply. “They always do.”

Summary: Dany meets with the Fates. After tragedy strikes both Jon and Dany make decisions about their future.

Dany’s eyes swept across the cave, the torchlight casting shadows of the skulls embedded in the walls. Her body tensed, telling her to run and escape, yet her mind told her it was useless. Magic had brought her here, and only magic could take her home. Dany straightened her spine, brushed off her gown. “Next time you wish to have an audience with a queen, I suggest you not send ravens to assault her.” She narrowed her eyes at her captor. I am the blood of the dragon, I am not afraid. Bloodraven laughed, his red eyes nearly glowing in the darkness. “Apologies, Your Grace. While not the most conventional form of travel, my ravens were the quickest and safest way to secure your arrival.”

It’s Always Yes With You

Chapter Two: The Jar Waits for No One

Chapter Summary: Dany contemplates free time and freedom. A morning dip in the river goes awry.

Go skinny dipping

Oh hells. “What! That was not in the original jar!” She tossed the pink post-it to the side, looking incredulously at Jon. Her eyes bulged and her hands were tense pushing against the table. This was not the something sexy she envisioned.

Of all the damn dares in The Jar, she had always avoided or copped out of anything involving public nudity. As hilarious as it was to watch Robb or Gray streak down an empty street at four in the morning, she always took the penalty when it came to public nudity.

“I may have taken some liberties with The Jar,” he smirked, bringing his mug to his upturned lip.

“It’s like 9:00 AM. We can’t go skinny dipping at 9:00 AM.”

“There is nothing in the Riverlands,” he mocked in a sorry attempt at her voice. “Not to mention, this is not a ‘we’ dare,” he emphasized with air quotes. “Just you, baby.”

She blinked darkly at him. “I said no-thing,” she enunciated. “Not no-one.”

He arched a brow. “Are you saying no to The Jar? We hadn’t discussed penalties yet.” He rubbed his chin, looking away in pantomimed contemplation. She crossed her fingers hoping he would not bring up the countless unforgivable things she did to avoid streaking back in college. “But just remember,” he cut his eyes to her. “You made me walk around the grocery store shirtless while old ladies groped me.”

She gulped cold coffee and snorted out a laugh. “I am sorry about that. Really.”

“Don’t be sorry. Just don’t bitch out on me.”

She huffed, searching the cabin for any further distractions. Finding none, she relented. He was right. There was hardly anyone around in The Riverlands. “Fine. Let’s go.”

She threw the chair back and marched through the house to find her flip-flops. She’d spent half of college with her tits out because of The damned Jar anyway, what was a little full nudity in The Middle of Nowhere? Was it really so different?

Jon clumsily gathered the coffee mugs and ran them to the sink. “Really? Right now?”

Dany was halfway to the door with her tote bag tossed over her shoulder when she stopped to challenge him. Her hair was disheveled from sleep and she still sported a baggy t-shirt and stained shorts. “The Jar waits for no one, Jon. Or have you forgotten the rules already, old timer?”

There was a slight tug at his hand, Dany’s shapely arm stretched behind her as she pulled him forward, eager to get them out onto the Boardwalk. Jon’s eyes fell past the feathers and pink and glitter to the ass that would not quit straining against the confines of a little black dress. Legs with heart-shaped calves begged for his tongue to outline and trace the tantalizing shape before they wrapped around his waist– voulez-vous indeed. She was also working a towering set of heels that made him wonder just how short she truly was, and if her head might fit under his chin just so, in a way that would allow her to hear the crashing of his heart against his ribcage, telling her every secret he might ever hope to hold and then some.

She could have it all. Whatever she wanted, however she wanted it.

He finally managed to stumble after her, thanking whatever higher power might be looking out for him that he had been nursing his drink for most of the evening, because he had plans for them, pending consent of course, and whiskey dick definitely did not factor into them. Not at all.

priceless | chapter 2: sunken ships

OMG this fic is over two years old and I finally updated it 🤗 it’s got another chapter because I can’t stop myself when writing but the third chapter is almost done and will post soon. Enjoy this forgotten WIP!

It was time to leave.

If not because she was getting nervous each time Daario Naharis eyed her up and down, making her skin crawl in that way only someone feeling under threat could understand, their sixth sense of protection kicking in, then because of the other part of her sixth sense warning her to protect herself.

Protect herself from Jon.

And the emotions that came up and threatened to overtake her whenever he wandered into her presence.

She lay awake in her bed, staring at the ceiling of the stateroom, the yacht so stable in the water you could hardly feel the vibration of the engine. However, she'd spent most of her life on, in, or near the water, and like the air she breathed, it kept her alive and she could sense any disturbance. Usually that was a good thing, it lended itself to some of the best sleep she'd ever had, just sitting on the water, bobbing along.

Tonight though that stillness was why she hadn't been able to sleep.

She kept having a dream, one of the water, of the coral and the sand, drifting through her fingers with every lift of her hand. She wasn't <i>her</i> though, but someone-- something-- else. It consumed her, threatened to drown her, and she kept waking up just when she thought she knew what she was looking for in the dream. Just when she thought she found the meaning of it all.

Like why she was here with Jon.

Like why he'd called her, after all they'd been through. It wasn't just the treasure or the connection to Rhaegar. It was something else.

It bothered her, gnawing in her belly, and she closed her eyes tight, turning to her side, trying to get rid of....everything. All the <i>feelings</i> confusing as they were. It would just be easier to think of him as her first love and he got away. They were stupid, young, traumatized by Rhaegar's passing. It was too much for any one to handle, let alone two people with their weight of emotional baggage.

They could move beyond it, finally move on to live the rest of their lives instead of drifting into each other's current again. She needed to leave before she collided with him again and she wouldn't be able to get out, before everything sank and she drowned.
