Au where Hollow and Ghost survive and then SILKSONG happens but- hear me out, hear me out-

Hornet was so, so young when the infection destroyed Hallownest. All her abilities in silk are derived from violence and hunting— unlike her weaver brethren, she never delved deep into the arts or healing beyond the basics to survive the destroyed husk of the kingdom.

This has direct consequences when Hollow survives in HK. Despite Hornet’s best attempts, Hollow’s wounds don’t heal quite right.

Hornet can’t forgive herself, never mind the insane reality she managed to save a voided godling from the brink.

(When Pharloom steals her, when she realizes there’s a history of thread, where she can learn how to spin silk maybe to heal-

-at the terrible cost of herself to save people she loves?

Hornet’s never been great about self preservation. All her life, she’s watched other people throw themselves into the abyss.

Now it’s her turn.)

Alas. Her siblings do not agree with that mindset. And they’re going to get their sister back, hell or high water.

Au where hollow and ghost survive Hollow Knight, and they go on adventures with hornet to distant lands. Hornet hunts and finds worth outside being a grave protector. Ghost… ghost does ghost stuff. And Hollow learns how to be a person.

(Anyways THE POSSIBLE SIBLING DYNAMICS… I AM ROBBED.)

Gonna call this Au “The Art of Dandelions” because it’s aaaaall about being nuisance in other kingdom’s front lawns. And unwanted growth.

alternative fursona

julian as a hooded crow!! uh kind of... i ended up making him more of a hybrid of a hooded crow and a raven

his sister is next! anw rambling under the cut

now i know, i know, his fursona is a raven but i just didnt wanna draw the hanged man with julian clothes so to differentiate them, i made julian into a hooded crow. why hooded crow specifically? well because

anw like i said, i ended up making him more of a hybrid. i gave him raven's fluffier neck and the wedge-shapped tail. for the crow features, other than the white/greyish markings that hooded crows have, i gave julian a crow beak (not curvy and not as big as a raven's) and also the "caw" noises, ravens dont do that (they do more of a deep croaking noise). also i like to think hes more of a raven size (which is bigger than crows)

ok so crows and ravens dont actually hybridized, since theyre actually rivals and all of that. but!!! there is one recorded case in 1990

"The hybrid babies were larger than crow babies (more raven-sized), and their tails also had the wedge shape that ravens have. However, their heads were more like that of a crow. Their bills were shorter than crows normally have, and the bills had a bit of yellow on the gape."

I'm sorry I wont do the Foretellers anytime soon as I kinda need their hair color to actually design them, but as their hair and eyes colors are hiden its mostly impossible. Same for the Master of Master and hooded Luxu, I want to avoid using clothes, especially when posting them on Toyhouse or they'll get deleted :(
