Thanks to degenezijde for sending this classy 1937 renovated Art Nouveau home in Oudenaarde, Belgium. 5bds, 3ba, €698,000 / $762K

Entrance hall with original tile.

A foyer opens out to a cozy, light-filled living room.

The kitchen is a modern black & white with double round sinks, and an opalescent tile backsplash. Classic white Shaker cabinets are interspersed with contemporary glass front cabinets that resemble open shelving, but protect it behind closed doors. Love that idea.

The kitchen has a generously sized eat-in space with doors that open directly to a patio with a pergola.

In the front of the building, the original windows w/colored glass panes are still intact and beautifully appear in the bedrooms. It would look so great decorating them in Art Nouveau style and picking up the colors of the glass.

I don't normally do this, but I've never had an Art Nouveau home before. Can you picture this wallpaper on a feature wall? Look at how the colors tie in with the window.

This bedroom is a little larger and has different style windows with a storage unit that could also be a window seat. Art Nouveau style is fancy and classy, this place needs to ditch the straight lined, bland white modern style.

They did a modern black & white bath.

An Art Nouveau tile backsplash would glam it up.

A new primary bedroom is in the attic, has beautiful pitched beamed ceilings, built-in floating night tables, a modern fireplace, and an en-suite bath.

Beautiful yard surrounded by a private brick wall. And, look at the cute little shed.

There's even a patio around a pond. What a great home. So much potential for making it an Art Nouveau showplace.

I wondered if perhaps Lestat's nice art nouveau wallpaper was a reproduction of a historical design, but it seems it's a modern one - "Nouveau Damask Wallpaper" by Antonina Vella. Ah well. Still lovely!

From what I've seen, the actual historical ones usually have many more colours than just 2. But they did have wallpapers with shiny metallics! I should go back and look at his other wallpapers and see if any of them are on my historical pattern pinterest boards. Art nouveau wallpapers & furnishing fabrics are one of my favourite things in all of surface design history.

A series of portraits lends a venerable aura to the Dining Area. Appointments include a 19th-century harvest table and early-20th-century chairs. An Art Nouveau figure in the corner, a Chiparus dancer on the table and a bronze Diana by Falguiere add expressive animation.

Flat color from yesterday’s stream!

$22.5m will buy this quirky 2022 mansion in Pinecrest, FL. 8bds, 9ba, 12,332 sq ft. Hard to believe that this Art Nouveau style home was designed in 2022.

Open the entrance door to the grand hall. I like the green and white color scheme. One must wonder how someone went thru the trouble of having this home built and is selling it only 2 yrs. later.

The living room is sculpted in the graceful curves of Art Nouveau style.

The bar has nice illuminated display shelving and an old fashioned style bar.

The dining room looks like a sunny space. Love the tile floor.

Large eat-in kitchen. I like the gray cabinets. Not really a fan of the floor.

Family room right outside the kitchen.

Beautiful guest powder room.

This is either a playroom or maybe the kids are homeschooled.

A shower room with laundry bins opens to the pool.

Library at the top of the stairs. This is beautiful.

The primary bedroom has pocket doors and a high arched ceiling.

There are at least 2 terraces and several doors open out to them.

It has private terraces around the perimeter of the house.

Terrace #2 is outside the ensuite.

The family really likes green, but it works. They picked nice shades of green. This tile is lovely.

More bedrooms down this narrow hall.

The secondary bedrooms aren't terribly impressive.

This one has a tower nook.

There's a nice fountain here and and a large terrace on the 2nd level. Plus, there's also a big patio to sit on, if the new owners want to use it that way.

A blue tennis court.

What unusual columns. This is a lap pool with a hot tub.

The patio features a full outdoor kitchen. The lot measures 1.94 acres.
