We all play characters in our own way 🎭

I got inspired to do these after having a conversation with my friend about wrestling. She asked what the appeal was of wrestling and I said ‘well they all have characters and stories and dynamics’ and it got me thinking that drag queens and wrestling are kinda similar in that way. They both use fake names (sometimes puns), both wear over the top outfits, both have an intense respect for the ‘elders’ of their communtiy, and both have beef thats supposed to be fake, but sometimes gets taken a bit too far. And I had this whole thing in my head about how so many different communities use ‘dress up’ or creating characters for themselves as a way of storytelling, and in so many different ways. I’ve been feeling kinda crappy about my art for a bit recently so I wanted to make a little something special for myself and this was it. And I wanted to share it with all of you :)
