Currently obsessed with the idea of an aro Lloyd struggling between being the protector of Ninjago and the leader of the ninja, which gives him very little space to ever have a partner, and just plain being aromantic, and wondering which of his experiences are due to either fact. Has he gone months without even acknowledging romance exists because he was busy on highly important missions? Or is he just that far on the aromantic spectrum that he forgets romance is a thing until Jay and Nya smooch in front of him? Fuck if he knows.

for once there is a Kai rotating in my head and the result is a sizzling hot take That being: Kai gives me more aroace vibes than Lloyd. There's something about Kai "liking" skylor and then not only never getting her number but it is implied he ghosted her LOL. He acts like a player but also has no game. It reminds me of when I was in elementary school and would pick a boy to "like" because I thought that's just how it works. So he does it to fit in to make up for basically not having a normal childhood. Essentially trying to act what he imagines a teenager is supposed to be like And While I have headcanoned Lloyd as aroace spec, the more I think about it the more I realize he has shown more romantic interest in someone than like half of the ninja lol. Look at it how you want but the oni trilogy is pretty loud that Lloyd has a crush at least and it sorely affected him I see it as Lloyd had the textbook definition allo people have told me when I ask what a crush is like lmaoo and simultaneously something I can't relate to as someone who is aroace myself

If you compare Kai's romantic situation with Lloyd and even Zane, they both have shown more romantic interest in a character than he has. which is ironic because Kai is the playboy and Lloyd n Zane are the aroace characters in fanon, despite canon This kinda fuels my opinion that the fanon view of Lloyd and Zane being aro ace specifically is based on stereotypes of aromantic and asexual people rather than taking a dive at how the characters behave in the show. That is a whole other conversation tho lol

If you have figured out already how did your original Elements come to be?

I personally headcanon that most of the other Elements besides water. Wind. amber. and the new Elements come from mixing/merging from mixing Lighting. Fire. Earth. And Ice together each creating the other Elements

My personal HC is that with the merge, not only realms colided, but elemental powers did too. But there were no elemental masters capable of holding two at a time, so the merged elemental powers were sucked into inanimate objects and then were passed onto random people.

Elysian, Elijah, Etha and Evan were hit by pieces of plastic that held merged elemental powers, which separated the 4 of them into two people teams. Elysian and Evan were saved by Cole, and Elijah and Etha found themselves at the monastery.

To celebrate, here’s my aspec Ninjago OC Amy!

Amy is a biologically enhanced human clone and former assassin. She is a year older than Lloyd and joined the ninja in the pilots. She’s was the Elemental Master of Space until she loses it at the end of my fanseason for her, and she’s the Purple Ninja.

She’s grey AroAce, rarely feeling sexual attraction and only feeling romantic attraction in specific situations (or to a specific someone). She thought this was normal and sexual attraction was made up for television until the others told her otherwise.

She is in a romantic relationship with Lloyd Garmadon (who i headcanon to be asexual and demiromantic), and they will fight anyone who says their relationship ‘is basically straight’ because it’s not. They’re both aspec and that’s as queer as any other queer relationships.

After her season Replica, Amy becomes disabled with a prothstetic arm, PTSD, and after Season 9 she also has an anxiety/panic disorder. She also gets burn scars after dying and being resurrected, and has body image and self worth issues due to it.

Because she is a biologically engineered human clone, Amy sometimes wonders if that’s why she’s AroAce. And wonders if that makes her a broken monster. Luckily she has Lloyd and the other Ninja there to convince her otherwise.

Constantly torn between hc’ing Lloyd as aromantic and Cole as aroace, because two aro-spec people on that team is a statistical anomaly.

Also, Lloyd has had a thing for both Harumi & Akita and homoromantic asexual Cole has my heart too. Which one do I project on now?
