The base for my Armies on Parade diorama is nearly finished.
As soon as I've painted Paz'uz and the Nurglings who are washing him and have placed them, I can pour the resin for the pool and it'll be done.
I've already two-tone-highlighted my precious boy and his friends, so I can paint them next week.

I hope I will meet the vague "in September"-deadline GW gave for bringing the finished diorama to the store.
I don't think I'll win anything (it's the first diorama I've ever built! I haven't even painted any piece of terrain yet!), but I want to get the participation-badge.

the Valar seem pretty content to primarily punish the ringleaders and let their followers go, so the Fëanorian followers probably get re-embodied well before their lords do
thus when Elrond shows up Formenos is not so much a lone fortress of exile as a bustling city where all the Fëanorians live, as most of them don't really want to swear loyalty to Finarfin and also don't tend to get along with the various other factions in Tirion

There's nothing like a good old-fashioned British Army flogging at the halberds with all the ritual and ceremony of such and with all your mates watching you take it like a man!!! Fuck yeah!!! This is Sergeant Patrick Harper being unjustly but lustfully flogged in Sharpe's Company!!! 🔥💥💯🤤🇬🇧

I won first place of my local Warhammer Store's Armies on Parade with my diorama!
I am very proud. I mean, I started painting minis in February! So I am still a noob. But look at the giant medal I got! I thought it would be a pin, so medal is not quite as nice but still. 😊

Giant manta ray of caution!!!!
Sometimes you just want to make a giant plushie to see if you can and the only fleece you have that’s big enough is neon orange and yellow
Featuring a mini manta ray made using @firesidetextiles space fabric for scale. And also me, for scale lol

Victory Parade, New York, N.Y. Camp Merritt, Colored Overseas Casual Replacements
Record Group 111: Records of the Office of the Chief Signal OfficerSeries: Photographs of American Military Activities
Original caption: Subject 47959  Number A
Photographer Lt. Geo. H. Lyon. S. C.
Rec'd 5-15-19  Taken 5-3-19
Description:
Victory Parade, New York, N. Y.
Camp Merritt, Colored Oversea Casual Replacements
This photograph, which is mounted on a card, shows a float in a victory parade.  The float, on the back of a flatbed truck, consists of about ten African American soldiers posing in a combat stance with helmets and rifles.  Two men crouch down by the side of a small artillery piece.  Other soldiers watch the parade from the sidewalks.  Coming up behind the float is a large inflated balloon, like a Zeppelin, with fundraising slogans around it.
