i'm curious to know what's the timeframe of lestat meeting marius (and therefore akasha), if it's before the trial, after the trial, before louis met him (but i think it's probably after the trial while louis is locked in a coffin, it would explain his appearance and the fact he did not fight armand beforehand, but why would lestat leave paris and come back to paris and be still in magnus tower?)

edit: we had a very nice discussion in the replies about it and lestat went to marius (and akasha) before louis, so hope we'll see it next season 🙂‍↕️

armand story about lestat can partially be true (the sex, the theatre de vampires), but what i can't get over is he saying lestat left paris, but you, and me, and lestat, and everyone in that trial knows lestat disappeared after nicki's death (why would lestat lie multiple times about burying himself for a century?), which armand didn't even mention, citing lestat's reason for leaving as getting the mind gift taught to him, so he is either very self-centered or lying through his teeth (i love him)

the spiral is unspooling by reedroad (60k) wip but pretty hefty already (60k!). the devils minion chapter incorporated into the past of the show, with daniel uncovering his memories of armand. very good read with lush world building. my fav thing in this is how daniel is written, and his daughters popping up in the fic.
