I'm transmasc and early 30s. I'm 5'10" in height and I guess "average" build. I'm an Aries and INTP which means I'm Hella stubborn and have opinions on things. I'm also pretty logic minded.

I love nature and being outside. Hikes, fishing, exploring in general are some of my favorite things to do in the warmer weather. I will get excited over finding a cool bug or rock and either try and bring it home or take a billion pictures of it.

When at home I just like to chill with my pets. (One dog, two cats, and four birds.) How we chill varies. Be it snuggles and movies/video games, or getting smothered by them while I read it depends. The only time I really separate myself from them is when I'm trying to do crafts. Embroidery and cats don't mix.

Ummm other silly facts... I used to do dirt track racing as a teen and still love going to the races occasionally. I like most music but pop punk is probably the most popular in my playlists. I've got 2 facial piercings, and I think 7 tattoos. (Two are bad batch tattoos)... I think that's about it.

Tech loves being outside with you. Typically, when he finds something he finds interesting, his brothers brush off his fascination and move on, but not you. When he finds a cool insect, you have to look at it. When you give him a cool rock, he might not show a strong outward reaction, but on the inside, he is crying. In fact, you and he have a shared collection of cool rocks and other stuff one of you found outside and wanted to keep. There's even a rock there that Crosshair gave you, but he threatened you with certain death (affectionate) if Hunter or Wrecker were to find out that he participated in the collection of cool rocks. (I want a cool rock from Tech :/)

When you're not out hiking or doing nature surveys, you and he will most likely be out fishing. Tech enjoys fishing because he can cast a line and work on some tinkering while he's waiting for a bite. It's one of his favorite ways to multitask. He even made a makeshift fish finder and attached it to the boat so wherever you happen to be fishing, he can see what's down there and use that information to figure out what bait to use and so forth. Plus, when fish are caught, they can be brought back to Wrecker, who does amazing things with fish. Well, he's an amazing chef in general, but he's especially good with fish.

Even though being outside is fun, sometimes y'all prefer to be inside. Tech was a bit overwhelmed by all of your pets at first (especially since he'd never had a pet before and wasn't entirely sure how to react), but he's since warmed up to them pretty well. One of the cats, especially, really likes him. You'll often find the two of them sitting in Tech's workspace together, with Tech doing his own thing and the cat sleeping right next to him. It makes your heart melt every single time. Seeing your favorite person get along so well with your favorite animals is very meaningful to you, and you couldn't be more grateful for such a caring, like-minded partner like Tech.

how i found my favorite rings with horary astrology: 💍✨

horary astrology is a branch of astrology where a chart is casted in the moment to answer any given question. here's how i used horary to find my rings !!

CONTEXT:

one particular day i was gardening and it had just rained, so everything was real muddy. i took my two rings off and put them in my pants pocket (or so i thought) to avoid dirtying them

THE CHART:

"where the hell are my rings?"

THE ASCENDANT:

with the rising in taurus, the sign of jewelry and valuables, it’s obvious that i was looking for my rings. but taurus also has much to do with steadiness, so i could tell my search would take longer than usual

i usually concentrate on the 12H (lost objects) with these specific horaries, but the moon was exactly on the ascendant and that really captured my interest. the moon has a lot to do with object recovery, so i gave her all of my attention this time around !!

with the moon quintile saturn at 18°, i had spent such a long time (♄) going through my garden, making sure i didn’t miss a single spot (18°). but i found nothing (☽ in 12H), so i figured i had lost them for good

here was my mistake in this instance: i originally thought i had my rings in my pants pocket, but i actually put them in the pockets of the hoodie i was wearing !! you can totally see this with what’s going on in the 12H — hence why i should’ve focused on it more

THE TWELFTH HOUSE (12H):

since the 12H rulers (jupiter and neptune) are both situated in the 12H, i could tell my rings were completely fine even if they were lost. whenever the 12H ruler is in the 12H, you can expect your lost item to be protected from breaking / any significant damage !!

jupiter and neptune are also retrograde in aries + pisces respectively — my error in judgment (♃) is that i assumed (♆) my rings would be in the garden instead of in my hoodie, so i ended up frustrating myself (♈︎) even more when i couldn’t find them (♓︎)

with both of the 12H rulers being stationed retrograde, i decided to look over the chart a few days later and try to find my rings again (remember retrogrades = redos). after giving up the garden idea, i studied the moon’s position more intently, seeing what else was possible

THE MOON:

like i said earlier, the moon is the planet of recovery and retrieval; whenever the moon is conjunct the rising in an horary chart, that means the object you’re looking for is on your person / in your immediate physical space

here the moon is ruled by venus at 14° libra in the 6H, the house of one’s daily routine and workspace. that narrowed it down to a very obvious place — i work in my bedroom !! places of rest are also governed by the moon, so i knew i was headed in the right direction

the moon is also in taurus, which rules fabrics and clothing. so naturally, i started tearing through my hamper like i was nuts

but after not finding anything, there was only one place left to look

i have two coat hooks right next to my work desk (moon’s ruler in the 6H) with both of my jackets on them; i just searched the pockets of my grey hoodie and there they were !! my favorite rings :)

The job can get a tiny bit repetitive at times, but it's quite nice in comparison to my previous job where I was stressed every second I was working. I also get to listen to music while working because I don't interact with patients and they can't see me nor my workspace.

My main job is handling dictated letters (doctor dictates a letter for patients, a transcriptionist/transcribing program(?) types it out, and I have to check to make sure there are no errors before sending them out via snail mail). It doesn't come back in a consistent manner, however. So sometimes I get nothing for weeks and then other times I get 3 days worth of letters that vary in numbers.

I'm doing more than what I just mentioned above, but if I talk any more then this will become an essay whoops 😳

It’s been a while, hi! I’m almost done with my first rotation which is hard to believe. I’ve had less time on wards and more time scheduled for lectures which I think has been good in terms of my other commitments. This week will probably be my busiest week so far. I was on wards yesterday and today, and managed to get a few sign offs for my portfolio. I’m working on data collection for my project that’s due near the end of December, which requires me to stare at a computer screen at hospital for way too many hours than I would like.
