Hello hello and welcome back to the "jay tortures his namesake" show!

This is a piece I created as part of the amazing DC Gotcha For Gaza over on Twitter for the cosplayer @/raurirokos on Instagram. Go check them out, their stuff's way cool!

It's been a pleasure to work with these guys even if I wasn't able to create as many pieces as I'd been planning to; burnout's a bitch! who woulda thunk it...

I really think the Williams team hasn't realized how much of their treatment towards Logan has lost them a lot of good will among fans. Like take his lap of legends, so much work went in to that, (from Logan, Williams Alumni, and the team behind it), was such a big opportunity, and really could have had generated some much needed good pr for the team and Logan, especially with the team and their treatment of Logan. Yet they allowed it to be overshadowed by the Alex announcement, like really you couldn't have waited at least a few days?

The moment Logan leaves I can see a lot of fans, just not interacting with Williams content anymore. As much as we talk about Alex and James Vowles being the ones who are restructuring/rebuilding Williams you can't forget Logan has also been a major face of that movement. All of their new era content, like their podcasts and interviews, Logan has played a major part in and I think a lot of fans will have a bad taste in their mouth watching once he leaves on such bad terms. Because realistically Logan has the perfect personality for that type of content and it will be nearly impossible to replace him there, its why he and Alex work together so well, they can match the energy and tangents.

Then you have to take into account of them Americans and drive to survive people. They get a lot of hate for either liking the sport at all or how they get into it. Logan is their driver, if you look at social media beyond Instagram comments you will find so much support for him. It is one thing to drop Logan as a driver because he's under-preforming (though I have thoughts about That to) but to go from saying you are going to do everything to help logan to publicly flirting with new drivers? Thats just rude. And now Williams are shutting themselves off from these markets/fan bases. I'm sorry but realistically Logan is leaving F1 and Americans will no longer have a home driver to root for and they will blame Williams for that so people will not stick around.

TLDR; Williams by being dicks have shot themselves in the foot next year publicity wise

Look Mihawk’s eyes definitely glow in the dark and this fact definitely threw Shanks of the first time he learned it which coincidently was during their *coughs* first time. But it’s kind of hot and he’s grown used to it now……mostly.

Because you know Mihawk is definetly the type of dude to never turn on a light ever and with his propensity for staring unblinkingly and his half hazard middle of the night sleeping habits. It’s a bit of a bit of a problem .

the years Shanks has lost of his life waking up to a floating pair of shimmering golden and ringed eyes staring at him in complete darkness he will never gain back and are best not talked out.

Also imagine if Mihawk is prone to midnight snacking (making up for all the food he doesn’t eat during the day to maintain his vampiric reputation) so many a red haired pirate have woken the ship with Shrieks having stumbled into the very dark kitchen to see a pair of otherworldly eyes completely demolishing a plate of leftovers or an entire charcuterie board staring right into their soul.

Ben and Yasopp have almost shot him multiple times(with only one of those times being on purpose) Many a crew member has solicited Shanks to get his boyfriend exorcised and the ship cleansed. In 2 years the closest Zoro ever came to cutting Mihawk was while blindly flailing his swords around in the dark trying to fend of the kitchen demon that besieged him during his midnight beer run. This will happen every night, they never talk about it. Zoro never figures out it’s Mihawk and is pretty sure the Kitchen is haunted. Won’t keep him from his midnight protein shake (he is no longer allowed beer)

Perona is the only person who is even slightly normal about this (she lived on thriller bark floating pair of eyes in the dark is child’s play) she just switches on the very bright white kitchen lights, effectively blinding Mihawk and leaving his terrible posture and he use of his precious kogatana to eat meatballs exposed to the light. She gets a cup of water turns off the light and leaves. The next day Mihawk buys her a new dress they never speak of this again.

I saw Feyre Stan's claim that Feyre is the chosen high lady of the night court because of the kernel of magic Rhysand gave her in the first book since she could revitalize him in Acowar. 

So in this hypothetical scenario of Rhysand dying in Acowar, she would have been chosen by the land as the new high lady of the night court. But what would have happened if, for example, Beron died in Acowar and Feyre was chosen as the next Autumn Court high lady since she has the kernel of him and every other high lord?

This would bring a whole new problem into the mix that Tamlin already addressed in Acomaf in a sense, but the fandom and the narrative dismissed that Feyre would be hunted, not because of her powers per se but because she could snatch up the high lord's titles from the different high lord's family lines without ever being a citizen of their court, not knowing their costumes, their culture, their traditions, etc.

It could make feyre High Queen of Prythian in a literal sense, and as this is Sjm, we talk about who already has colonizer remarks from her supposed hero characters in both Acotar and her other book series. I wouldn't be surprised if she would go that round. 

Also since nobody, including Sjm bc she literally admitted to not outlining her books and writing based on vibes, knows how any of this stuff is going to work out. 

It brings more problems within the already contracting and retconned world building of the series if feyre's high lady title isn't a formality.

The reason we've never seen an on page wedding or mating ceremony in Sarah's book is because she lacks the ability to write the emotional intamcy or creativity needed to make a scene like that truly meaningful without relying on long sob stories about a characters past and massive amounts of monologue.
