i like that the name nuzlocke stuck. like the original thing was just called hard mode but it featured a nuzleaf named after locke from lost and to this day its still called a nuzlocke. theres even variations like wonderlocke. like the locke part became a suffix. i like that. i really like how words happen

It’s not just that gifted kids are more likely to be neurodivergent, the GATE test is basically an autism test in disguise, but with math at the end so the “difficult sped kids” don’t pass it. Every single person in that program I remember turned out to have ADHD or autism. “Gifted kid burnout” is just neurodivergent kids who didn’t struggle in school now being faced with all of the struggles that come with their disability after being shielded from it in childhood.
people misunderstand what ‘gifted kid’ actually means but it’s ok it’s fine it’s cool it’s good
