It's time for my annual day of thinking about that one really weird jukebox musical made by Disney and lucasfilms that I hate and adore with every fiber of my being. I hate it because it's a jukebox musical and half the characters are the worst things ever and the writing is really bad alot of the time and I love it because the relationship between the main two characters is the GREATEST ENEMIES TO LOVERS I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME and it's a straight couple and it's not cringe (or it's good cringe idk) AND I can cut the tension when they are flirting with a knife and it's funny

...this post is about Strange Magic by the way. It's amazing and terrible all at once and I need to talk about it at some point because I've been thinking about it again

am i tripping or is x3 relatively way better than dark phoenix like,,, obviously the second half of x3's plot is atrociously wrong (apart from when erik keeps bringing up charles) but the initial set up and premise feel less flat than dark phoenix with more things going on than just jean/phoenix and erik and the brotherhood don't feel as shoehorned?

i fear i feel you ..... however ive always held the belief X3 wasnt a terrible movie on the sole basis hank was there and the movie started with old man bickering while adopting their daughter so this aint a shocking opinion to meee

1.JACKALOPES (IDC IF THEY ARNT REAL)

Do I really even have to explain, LOOK AT THIS THING! Yes it’s an edited image but jackalopes are so badass and silly like LOOK AT IT!! (Legends says they like whiskey and can mimic human voices! So cool!!)

2.POLAR RABBITS

Take a gander at this puff ball with legs ITS SO ROUND WHEN IT SITS AND IT LOOKS STRANGELY LIKE A CAT KINDA?? It’s like if a cotton ball, a house cat and the tbh creature had a magical love child that they kept in a box for years

3. DWARF RABBITS

This thing is so small and tiny and little it is NOT built for survival‼️ quick you need to stuff them under your hat to save them from predators!! ITS THE ONLY WAY!!

talking to new people again is making me realize that (this is gonna sound dramatic) i haven't lived in five years but what i have done is watch a lot of movies and read a bunch of books and believe it or not that actually makes me an interesting conversationalist in some ways (?)
