It's time for my annual day of thinking about that one really weird jukebox musical made by Disney and lucasfilms that I hate and adore with every fiber of my being. I hate it because it's a jukebox musical and half the characters are the worst things ever and the writing is really bad alot of the time and I love it because the relationship between the main two characters is the GREATEST ENEMIES TO LOVERS I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME and it's a straight couple and it's not cringe (or it's good cringe idk) AND I can cut the tension when they are flirting with a knife and it's funny

...this post is about Strange Magic by the way. It's amazing and terrible all at once and I need to talk about it at some point because I've been thinking about it again

I went to and estate sale w some freinds and found a peace lilly and I didn't trust annnyyyy of the mother fuckers there 2 take care of it. I'm a plant loverrrrrrr I love them so much. And this guy who's been walking around the place a lot comes up to 1 of the ppl we came with and tell him how happy he is our freind is taking an absurd amount of glass ware (it was selling for 35 dollars but it was probably like 1500$ realisticly so like dam) and I have my gay little peace lilly and thus guy tells me that ots was his wife's and she loved it so so much and it was her favrote and she babied it and loved it sm and I didn't fully process till I was out in my freinds car that I have this sweet old man's dead wife's beloved plant and I'm so like

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about
