little update on my life... not that it mattered

My new job is super cool, but I have to work a lot and not just at the actual work hours, but also learn coding in my free time, because I don‘t know nearly enough to be useful and even though all of my collegues said it’s okay and normal, I’m still scared to lose said job again, because of my mental health issues coming up.

I wish I could go back to writing and making art soon, but... it might take a while and I’m not really motivated to do anything besides sleeping these days, because my head is filled with new knowledge and it needs to rest. But I might make some memes soon again. Do you want to get tagged on it, dm me or write a comment!

Also.... I saw so many of your great stories and I really want to read them, but it might take a while until you get a comment from me on those stories q.q I’m sorry tho!

Now, let‘s go to the fun stuff, because I need to rant okay. Not really ranting, but simping over a man, who is not my bf. I’m a flirty person, I have crushes all the time and my bf knows it and is cool with it. But he doesn’t know about my superior.

I have a huuuuuge crush on my superior and at first I thought it’s going away without having to talk about it... but that’s not going to happen. So I talk about him now. Maybe then the feelings will leave again... because I don’t want to smother everytime I see my superior and I have to talk with him a lot... because he is my superior and it’s a small company.

And I tried for a long time and with great afford to find out, why I picked exactly him, because there are other attractive guys around, but my stupid brain picked the one who is 7 years older than me, has a girl friend... and is my boss.

Great, huh? No, it’s not, because I’m losing my mind. How can I work there and talk to him, while I constanly think about sucking his dick?

At first I thought I was just a sex thing... and now I want to run my fingers through his perfect hair, while he falls asleep on my chest.

His sense of humor is just like mine and also super dirty and awful

His hands... gosh, I love his hands. They are perfect, even when he said, he has very small hands for a man... he has not, those are so beautiful!

He wasn‘t born rich and had to work for everything he achieved... like me, but I haven’t achieved anything so far

Have I mentioned it? Album ranking: Changmin's Chocolate EP, since you asked for it lol

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU.

changmin is an exceptional pop artist and this is an exceptional debut. every single part of this album is carefully planned and like very well made. there’s a quality that seasoned idols have when it comes to music like boa has it shinee has it tvxq has it where they don’t do too much and just make extremely smart decisions, there’s not a flaw in this album even if some of it isn’t my taste. this album is 100% changmin it’s completely made with him in mind i haven’t looked into how involved he was in making it (i think he wrote a couple tracks?) but it’s just perfectly suited for him. i feel like where yunho’s solo career has been kind of marked by going all out while changmin’s is marked by tasteful restraint? which would be fitting of them. none of the songs on this album are doing too much, they’re all exactly well measured and well made. all skill all technique all experience. also it’s all so damn sexy. so much innuendo. So much innuendo.

1. chocolate - perfect in every way. it’s so distilled changmin. i literally put on this song as soon as i wake up regularly just to get out of bed. it’s so sexy. it’s soooooo sexy. y’know what i’m gonna walk through this song moment by moment just to show u what i mean by PERFECTION. it’s just so smartly made.

it opens with un deux trois quatre which is so sexy but it doesn’t let you get comfortable, it goes straight into AAAAIIIIIIII AIN’T SCARED OF ELECTRICITAAAAAY. so it’s okay you shock me. like what a killer line on top of that simple snapping sound and repeating brass it’s a HOOK. like it DRAGS you in and it just shows exactly what changmin is about from the jump.

the little “oh yeah!” and “shock!” vocal tracks layered over is soo skillfully done and the bass intensifies on top of that same brass hook until the me in “you shock me” repeats and the brass drops out and it goes straight into another AMAZING beat with that “god is it bad?” transition with those interesting sounds like KILLER!!! FANTASTIC!!!

and then the way the whole song shows off every single part of his voice there’s the opening big full chested high notes he’s famous for and then the verses are his smooth talking low whisper voice over that bass heavy beat. the layered harmonies. and then the shift in vocal technique for like the lines that end in lipstick and secret and savage and package he’s like in a completely diff placement even tho it’s the same range of notes and it’s Extra Sexy and he’s so showing off. and then back into the full chest high notes! and the choice of having a subdued chorus with an unexpectedly small drop like it’s such a smart choice you can’t have a big bombastic chorus when the rest of the song is built so carefully it really shows control and restraint in production every detail is just perfect and slightly experimental pop.

and then his HIIIIGH NOOOOOTES god he’s just showing off with this song he’s completely at ease and in his element this song is tailor made for him and it fits soooo well it’s just so much pleasure. and it ends so abruptly u just wanna dive into it again it’s just exuding confidence and competence it’s just wonderful.

2. piano - so good so good so good. i’m really grateful amasat had it as a question because otherwise it would’ve taken me longer to figure out how cool the lyrics are. he uses some really specific words to continue the piano metaphor and makes it sounds so good like repeat sign semitone musical motif melody chord harmony. and comparing her to the black and white keys of the piano. and “when you play on my piano” and how he goes do re mi sol la si do silence and then the song ends. so smart and bookending with how he starts it with la la la la lady like the music note but also how he’s comparing his lover to music. the lyric writer for this had a great time because he knew that changmin can make any crazy niche words sound good.

there’s one moment where the lyric is “creating harmony in discordance” but the music theory word for harmony sounds like the word for knees. so the actual lyric is “creating harmony between discordant notes” but is sounds like “creating harmony between your knees”. so much innuendo. the little “uh!” and “woo!” he does is so tasteful. he does sexy so tastefully i’m literally so admiring of him. also the bridge with “i like it when you say don’t stop” is just. so good. also the pun of pieonah (bloom) and piano. and like his vocals are so good it makes you pay attention to all the weird sounds and cool wordplay going on when the actual instrumental is pretty simple it’s a brilliant song.

3. high heels - god this song is amazing. it’s such a funky michael jackson style track and again shows off his vocals with relatively subdued production and instrumentation. full band real instruments gorgeous. the heel clacking sounds are so fun the bass is amazing the vocal layering is gorgeous the melody is great. the lyrics are so smart. it’s just smoooooth. changmin is just such a sexy rnb vocalist i’m so glad he gave us an rnb album it’s beautiful.

4. me myself and i - such a good easy listening smooth cafe or studying track. the opening line “i’m so freaking over you” is such a good hook. his voice is so soft and lovely. lo fi rnb changmin is a good changmin. it’s a simple song made masterfully and the guitar is lovely. i love the moment when the guitar stops and it’s super minimalist but with a moment of suspense before it comes back in.

5. lie - took a little warming up to despite how much i love both changmin and chungha but it is quite a good song. it’s such american pop. like late night drive down the pch. the chorus is catchy tho “you’re a little i’m a little lonely” is good and the way chungha’s voice is added is really smart. chungha’s verse is like really surprisingly vulnerable on this track i was surprised and it was really grounding for the song overall. i wanna see chungha and changmin dancing together it would be so incredibly sexy.

6. no tomorrow - this is the kind of white person indie pop i briefly listened to in 2013 and have not been able to stand ever since but because it’s changmin it’s listenable. it’s a fun roadtrip song! if i was looking out the window of a car winding through some mountain path i would be having a great time but for my quarantine music life it’s a skip.

HELLO BELLE <3 please accept my pseudo essay regarding your gifs [1] i feel like i always say this but i have so much respect for people who gif live stages because holy SHIT i never realized how difficult they are to color. like on top of the fact that the camera isn't the best (smth smth they don't capture in enough frames so you lose a lot of movement and it gets blurred disclaimer i'm not well versed in videography at all) and the camera work can be really shaky, all the effects make it absolute HELL for gifmakers who are trying to make gifs that look clean and pleasant. i really adore this set because you were able to make the live stage gifs look AMAZING AND you were able to match it to the music video which is SO WILD AND SO GOOD.

[2] WOW HELLO THIS IS SOOOOO CUTE????? the svt logo pattern is so so clever it’s SO subtle and i love how it looks like abstract florals <3 i would love to have it on like a pillowcase or smth fdsfds i also love how you mixed still photos and gifs together. i feel like you always make really good use of tumblr as a platform, like utilizing it to its fullest! and i always admire that because i usual get caught up in just doing things uniformly and forget that there’s actual way more options on this website than i realize FDSFSDFSD

COLOR! i also have said this a million times but i really love deep reds and just warm color palettes in general. again i really admire the way you can take things from multiple video sources and make them fit soooo well together. also the layout of this set and the balance between face and faceless shots.... very good luv it. so cute immaculate vibes we love to see it.

[4] AAAAAAAAAA HELLO i love how you laid this one out and also played with the banners and text from the original teaser. ALSO THE THREE PANEL WITH THE PINK WASH?? THAT’S SO SEXY and also the third gif where you put the extra white bars and added a pink wash to the top and bottom cuts UGH that’s so nice this is such an interesting gif set to look at (also i’ll be honest i didn’t even watch this teaser until NOW bc this was before my time as a carat so ty for informing me of its existence i love pink joshua pink joshua supremacy)

[5] ONCE AGAIN BEING SUPER CLEVER AND USING TUMBLR TO ITS FULLEST the orange red borders and the bubbles which naturally lead your eyes down this set make it really nice to scroll through. it’s so smart because each shot from that monotube video was so different in color palette and it just really brings the whole set together. i love how balanced it feels with the full frame at the top and bottom, and the half frames connected in the middle. JUST REALLY COOL and inspires me to be more creative with my own creations <3

Thanks for the question, Anon! I hope you enjoyed the leaks as much as I do XD

Well, get ready for a very long answer…

On a personal level, yes, I want Billy back. He is one of my favourite piece of shit characters on the show, and also one of my favourite piece of shit character in TV/movie fandom overall. It doesn’t matter if you liked him or hated him, he was so.fucking.entertaining.to.watch. And Dacre Montgomery nailed the role.

NOW, LET’S ANALYZE ALL THE POSSIBILITIES:

On an external level:

PROS: apparently the actor enjoyed his time on Stranger Things, enjoyed his time with the cast/crew, they enjoyed their time with him, and no shitty behavior has emerged from set.

CONS: the actor is Aussie and we are talking about bringing someone from the other side of the world (bureaucracy and everything) during a global pandemic.

On a narrative level:

Yes, Max deserves something to close his death and some kind of resolution. If he’s alive, Billy needs a proper redemption arc. Max needs to set her boundaries and resolve their relationship. Both needs to fix their relationship, if they can. Billy should repair the damage he's done to everybody.

If he’s truly dead, Max deserves something more than mourn him, he shouldn't be left as a martyr, and it would cheap his death and the writing overall if there is a flashback that goes along the lines of “turns out he’s not an awful brother and he and Max made amends somehow off-screen!”.

On a symbolic level:

There is no way the writers don’t address Billy’s existence. Max is going to the high school he would be attending his senior year (damn, that would have been an interesting sight having the two siblings at the cafeteria at the same time), she still lives with his father as far as we know, Lucas is in the basketball team now, Jason mentioned him during a public pep talk and the Hellfire Club is heavily related to heavy metal/rock music and drugs. Hell, if we take Jason and Eddie into account, totally looks like the writers splited Billy’s “concept” into two minor characters.

IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE CHARACTER TO APPEAR AGAIN?

If he’s truly dead: Yes. Even if we take into account the wig, the actor shaved his head in the middle of filming for no discernable reason (one of the main points of being an actor is that you are not allowed to change your aspect at all during filming) and there is a pic from the makeup team creating an unused cast of his head and shoulders. So maybe there is a secret scene of an autopsy filmed during season 3, or an autopsy photo in some Dr Owens' file that shows Billy is dead.

If the actor is “there”, Billy could appear as a nightmare to Max or Eleven caused by PTSD, or as some sort of “spiritual guide” to interact with Eleven, or the Mind Flayer (or Kali, she has that power too) uses his image to scare Eleven.

If he’s truly alive: Yes again. We don’t know the exact amount of powers the Mind Flayer gave to Billy, but despite being almost a decadent corpse, he was burned, later threw through a wall, later car crashed and later “burned” again… and he was still alive and moving. He died after the gate was closed. The writers can get away with “oh, the gate was reopened, and that caused the powers came back to Eleven -and Billy-, and now he is a Venom/Wolverine type” (mandatory comic reference here). Also, a lot of horror/gore movies from the 80s are about resurrection and/or zombies.

IF THE CHARACTER COMES BACK WELL:

Redemption arc and Max scenes. A lot of drama. He would join the Party, which is good for 2 reasons:

On a D&D level, he would be their barbarian fighter/berserker. The Party and allies fighting techniques are along the lines of intellect, deductive skills, street smarts, superpowers, throw things to monsters, and physical attacks. The latter part was usually covered by Hopper (not now there) and Steve. If Steve isn’t there for whatever reason, it’s good to have some dumb muscle. Also he can drive, which is good if any of the adults, teens or Max is not around.

On a mental/emotional level, he would be their criminal. He has already a crime record, he is way dark/grey morality than the rest of the characters, he is not shy going places where the other characters are afraid (such as tortures, manipulation, car fu, and “distract people with sexy”). That could be used for good, or to don’t turn your heroes into assholes. Also given his context and past scenes, he can be a healer type due to his experience with fights and abuse, and perform CPR was mandatory on his job.

On a funny level, just imagine the Cool Bad Boy Dumb Jock surrounded by the Supreme Nerds. Trying to get laid with Robin. Awkard moments with “I almost banged your mom” Wheelers. Or Erica roasting his ass off. Basically, he would be the Spike from Buffy. Damn, maybe he is a secret nerd, imagine a scream contest with Dustin about some obscure D&D concept while the others watch with a WTF face.

IF THE CHARACTER COMES BACK WRONG:

He can be demented and PTSD, and be the character at Pennhurst Nancy and Robin were investigating. Or the girls were there for Victor Creel, and they crashed accidentally with crazy Billy, who is a John Doe founded wandering around and bought there meanwhile the Pennhurst workers are trying to discover who is he.

He can be also trapped in the Hawkins lab (I doubt the scientists wouldn’t kept his body). Redemtion arc and Max scenes from above and a lot of drama too.

IF THE CHARACTER COMES BACK (WELL OR WRONG) AND HAS SUPERPOWERS:

Please. The black comedy would be endless. This asshole would be Deadpool and we know it. He is the kind of character who would be using his powers for the LOLZ to piss off people. He would leave behind his mutilated hand giving the finger to the army. He would draw with blood a dick over Brenner’s desk. He would rampage the lab, or jump from a skyscraper, or set himself on fire because he is soooo bored. He would mess Max showing her gun holes or performing autosurgery in the kitchen with a fork. He would let Lucas and Steve kick his balls with a bat as a “retaliation”

Basically, Billy has all the potential to become a dark twisted himbo ala Damon Salvatore and I'm here for it

how i feel about this character: HER!!! she is literally soooo smart and sexy and i adore her. i don’t know jack shit abt like. sherlock holmes archetypes but irene adler seems so cool and daisy fills this role so perfectly i’m obsessed

one thing i wish would happen/had happened to this character: hmm i really want to explore her whole thing with fletcher bc like. that’s SO fascinating to me like the way she held that over sylvester’s head (and kept it secret for so long) and i just wanna know more

The group is split into three subunits.

Umbra: Eros, Ellie, and Min. The more mature of the subunits. They have a dark, more badass concept, but done in a very stylized way. They tackle really difficult topics in their music and the sound is very unique and every evolving but it always retains something that sound like them

Prominence: Sammie, LJ, Rocket, and Pidge. They pull from the more whimsical but dark side of their music. Sometimes they go the direction of uplifting songs but often dip into the mystery as well. They have an overall dark style with their comebacks but it’s got an ethereal feel to it. Their music feels timeless.

Diamond Ring: Sky, Sam, Cura, and Berry. They have a very bright, fun sound. Their music is quick, upbeat, and catchy. Their songs often surround uplifting concepts and their stages are a lot of fun, with cute antics and quick lyrics that still dip into serious topics.

anime I’ve been watching recently

Oh hey, I’m alive. Sorta? Between work being overwhelming and my schedule being kind of out of whack my energy to do anything in my off time, other than staring at the screen, has been at an all-time low... so low I can’t even throw words on the screen to make some posts.

But hey, I’ve still been staring at the screen, and I do have some opinions that I really need to get out of my system. So, this is the stuff I’ve been watching in the past months:

Listeners: No screenshot for this one because I don’t have any lying around anymore, but anyway, yeah, this was fun? Sure, the ending was stupid and didn’t make any sense, but then again, I wasn’t watching this show for the story, or with any expectations of it being “great” or “worthy” or whatever. It was a fun way of turning off my brain for half an hour every week, and I really enjoyed the music references which were much better-informed/researched and executed than in most anime or manga (where they usually just throw the reference in your face and be like “get it? huh? getit??? aren’t we smart?? you should feel smart, too!”). So what if it ended with “Uh, we actually never planned this far, let’s just do every mech anime ending ever”, the journey was worth it.

Nami yo kiitekure: No screenshot for this one either. Nami yo kiitekure was... meh? It started out well, with Minare being a fun and relatable lead, but then it kind of... stalled. And to be honest I got really annoyed with all the shouting. I don’t mind shouty comedy at all (some of my favorite anime comedies are like that) but here the pacing didn’t really work. And I never got the appeal of the live radio segments either (even though I do actually listen to a lot of radio!), perhaps because the seiyuu was just hamming it up instead of delivering a convincing performance, which I kind of expected to be the point. Anyway, I dropped this halfway through. Nothing technically wrong with it, but it’s not my cup of tea.

The Great Pretender: I actually wrote about this previously, and I haven’t seen any new episodes since then. Are they already out? :O What’s going on with this show’s release schedule?

Appare-Ranman: Oh, this is back! And I... don’t really like it as much as I did the first 3 episodes? I dunno, in the recent episodes it kind of lost its swagger and instead settled comfortably into that “Show That Could Have Been On Adult Swim In When American Anime Fans In Their 30s Were Watching That” routine that has been so prevalent in the recent Netflix-backed shows that I seriously believe it’s on purpose, to emulate popular shows in the US and appeal to viewer nostalgia. And this means that to me the show has become kind of... boring, really. Like, again, there’s nothing actually wrong with it, it’s by far the best of PA Works’ attempts at trying new things, and I am still watching it and derive enjoyment from it. But I don’t find it particularly interesting, it’s just going through the motions without adding anything exciting, visually, story-wise or character-wise. Like come on, it’s The Year of Our Lord 2020, do something new or interesting! Like for example...

Deca-Dence: Oh yes. See, when the first episode came out and people were raving and doing the “anime is saved!” thing, I was like “...huh? but this was like every damn fantasy adventure anime ever.” I mean it looked nice, sounded nice, but it was soooo derivative and boring. And then the second episode rolled around and I was like “OK, now you’ve got my attention! :D” and my attention has stayed with the show ever since. See, here’s the difference between this and say, Appare-Ranman: it’s not that Deca-Dence is doing anything revolutionary either, but it’s at least doing something instead of just following a template. Its ambitions don’t stop with having cool visuals and cute character designs.

And another plus for Deca-Dence vs Appare-Ranman: the female characters in Deca-Dence don’t have that stupid PAW “cute anime girl” permablush. God that’s so annoying.

Gibiate: And on topic of shows trying for a retro appeal... yeah. There’s this one. You know those snobbish anime fans who always bemoan the decline of anime, and talk about how back in their time anime as such was better? Yeah, you can tell those people have had a very curated experience of anime “back in the days”, because back in the days, in our case in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, “anime as such” was actually more like this one. Really, Gibiate feels like it’s a zombie of some early ‘90s action show resurrected for some weird experiment, and now it just kind of shambles along aimlessly, not knowing what it’s doing in the present or how it should handle the changes of time. It’s kind of embarrassing, really... well, it was for the three episodes I watched. I dropped it out of secondhand embarrassment, more than anything.

GITS:SAC 2045: Oh yes, there’s this one as well. As I predicted, it was crap. It kind of feels like the creators were contracted to do a new series, but they had no actual ideas for a GITS:SAC sequel, nor any inspiration, and also nothing particular they wanted to say with the new show. Hell, apparently they didn’t rewatch GITS:SAC to refresh their memories of the show they were ostensibly trying to create a sequel for. OK, Imma rant about this a bit (copy-pasting something I wrote elsewhere).

1. The visuals are shit. Look, I'm not biased against CG, a lot of shows I enjoy have CG, a lot of them have bad CG. I tend not to care a lot about animation quality be it amazing or crap, as long as I enjoy the rest of the show. But this show looks like shit. The characters are rubber dolls floating in virtual space, physical character interaction is distracting, and all the action is hilaribad. Character animation is fucked up so often, like, they tried to give the Major a sexy hip sway but the result has her walking like she has a stick shoved up her butt. Hell, often they couldn’t even animate lip flaps properly, which doesn’t make the soulless masks the characters have for faces any more expressive. Also, character design-wise, the Major sticks out like a sore thumb, looking like a Sexy Dollfie among all the semi-realistic character designs. It’s kinda offensive, really. 2. Again, I could have lived with the visuals, if the rest of the show was any good. But it's not. With the exception of that one episode with the bank robbery, that was good and felt like real GITS:SAC, this is like someone's subpar fanfic, which is sad considering the writers behind the show. Characterization is weird and fucked up and doesn’t follow SAC. The worldbuilding went from the rather well thought out backdrop of SAC to a mess of ~edgy~ concepts mixed without any particular depth given to them. "Sustainable war!!! Thinkpol!!! 1984!!!!!" 3. The concept of post-humans is such a huge missed opportunity. Paired with the whole "ThinkPol" thing (as eyeroll-inducing as that is) there was a pretty good chance there to explore the dehumanizing aspect of the internet, and tie it into the "anon vigilante crowds" thing the story seems to be trying to get going. But nope, they just went with the stupidest routes. Also, the whole idea of "post-humans" doesn't flow organically from the worldbuilding of SAC, it just feels like something they came up with because they had to do something new. It also kinda feels like someone watched Darker Than Black one too many times.

So yeah, so, so disappointing. I’ll be watching S2 when it comes along because eh, more GITS, but I’m not gonna pretend this is anything but a subpar attempt to cash in on the franchise.

About Ikemen Vampire...

I finally got around to do the Ikemen Vampire first impressions post no one asked for, but I said I would do.

I’ve had the app on my phone for a while now, I mostly login and do the minigame to pile up on points and diamonds, but I’ve also played the butler event and a few chapters of Napoleon’s route.

FYI I only red a couple of spoilers on one route, so I’m jumping into this completely blind. Here we go.

The Premise:

A bunch of famous men from history turned vampires all living in the same mansion during a specific time in the past. On one side this is kinda interesting, on the other I know too much about many of these people (including their real aspect) to not face-palm every time I read their names, that’s why it took me so long to start this game. I knew it would need some getting used to it, and I have to admit I still find it strange at times. But well...

MC is, at least for now, the typical japanese otome game MC, so nothing exciting here, but maybe she will get gutsier moving forward? One can only hope. At least I like her love for travelling and she seems to know several languages.

Anyway if I’d been in her place, spending one month in the past with all these famous historical figures around, like hell I would’ve accepted to be a maid. I would’ve spent the whole time exploring and interviewing, I would’ve cut a deal with Le Comte, I’m sure he would’ve said yes.

Anyway, let’s get to the guys, knowing that I’m an otome hoe and of course the plan is to get with all them (except maybe one). Team harem always for the win.

Ei fu. Siccome immobile, Dato il mortal sospiro, Stette la spoglia immemore Orba di tanto spiro, Così percossa, attonita5 La terra al nunzio sta, ...

99% of the people reading won’t know what this is about. It’s one of the most important italian poems ever, it was written to celebrate Napoleon Bonaparte, it’s called Il Cinque Maggio (the date of Napoleon’s death... or in this case... resurrection as a vampire?). It’s huge, 108 verses, and I had to learn the whole thing by memory in school. It was so painful that it stuck with me to this day. That’s why I have a sort of love/hate relationship with the man.

But I decided to start with him for two reasons: I find this version of him hot and mysterious and I know his sexy scene is free so... who am I to turn down sexy times for free??

His back story of being half human half vampire is interesting and I am curious to see where this is going. I’m also curios to see how much cybird is sticking to history because the emperor had an interesting life to say the least. Including two wives, which I don’t want to think about because I am extremely jealous of all my otome boyfriends so I hope they are going to ignore this detail.

Yeah... no... this is so wrong... the guy died in exile in St Elena after failing to get his power back, speculations say that maybe he was even poisoned. It wasn’t a peaceful death and definitely he had regrets.

I feel like I am putting too much thought into this and I should take the game as if these are just random people.

Anyway, Napoleon the character has a really pretty design, I love his eyes and his mysterious aura, and he looks like the honorable knight type. I hope he has also a kinky side because that’s how I roll and too good is not exactly my thing. He said he’s not attracted to MC pfff.... bullshit of course. We’ll see.

I don’t have much to say about Mozart because I’ve seen very little of him. I like his design, he seems to be the cold and slightly asshole type which I generally like, but too cold could put me off. If they’re going for any realism at all there could maybe be some daddy issues in his route?

This was the route that originally interested me the most because Leonardo was a genius and he’s the closest to home. Let’s ignore the fact that people keep using Da Vinci as if it was his surname WHICH IS NOT ,“da” means “from” and “Vinci” is a town, Leonardo from Vinci, he didn’t have a surname because he was a natural son. But other than that, there are two main points that make me consider skipping his route altogether.

First of all, this is the only spoiler I have about the game, I know this story is sad whatever the ending, and I don’t do sad in my escapism. I only want happy endings, people may not agree but that’s my personal philosophy for playing these games.

Second, that “cara mia” triggers my rage every time I read it. As I explained in another post, “cara mia” is paternalistic and kinda offensive, “mia cara” is the sweet, caring one. The writers picked the wrong one and it’s soooo annoying to read. Especially because he repeats it quite a lot.

So, I’m not 100% sure yet, but this might be the first time in my history as an otome-player that I skip a route.

This. Adorable. Rascal. He might be the second route I play after Napoleon because I can’t wait to banter with this guy (if MC’s personality allows it).

He seems as smart as his real counter-part and I like it.

I find a little annoying that he speaks like someone pretending to be British, it seems like the writers tried too hard, but what he says is kinda hilarious and I want him to (try to) bite me 👀

I assume they didn’t go completely with the realistic route here, otherwise Vincent should be a little coo coo, but the guy was sensitive and fragile and it seems that this was somehow preserved in the character. He has both ears though, so he probably isn’t completely suicidal.

However he seems the totally sugary sweet type which is really not my thing. But I also heard he has one of the hottest sexy scenes in the game so colour me intrigued 👀

THIS! This is my man! I don’t know why I always fall for the tsundere, it’s not like I’m a masochist and like to be mistreated, but I like the bantering and I hope that MC is going to be cool enough to allow me to reply to him in tone. I really want to fight with him! 👀

Also, he’s sexy, and the fact that I know absolutely nothing about him, helps me not feeling annoyed by whatever it has been done to the character.

I don’t know what to expect from his route. Does he have a brother complex? Is he jealous because his brother is a genius and he was a simple merchant? Why were they both turned? So many questions. Give me this beautiful asshole’s route soon cybird!

I know nothing about him too, but there’s something in him that irks me. He has a sort of paternalistic attitude, too many compliments, too polite... Also, that kimono has a strange fit.

On the positive side he seems protective and I like his quirkiness, so we’ll see.

Newton is the one that, together with Leonardo, interested me the most for pure principle. And, in this case, I am quite satisfied. I like his aesthetics and personality-wise he seems similar to Mozart, quiet, distant type. We’ll see.

I keep wondering why they turned a female character male, they could’ve added a wlw route. Anyway, I won’t complain because look-wise I like him the most out of everyone. The eye patch intrigues me, I like his style and I find him really beautiful. I know though that his route is the least sexy and that’s a bummer. I am curious about him and his route and wonder if he also hears voices in his head.

In this case I’m pretty sure we’re far away from the real person. William the character is the yandere of the group and even the other vampires seem a little preoccupied by him. I wonder if his route is maybe a little dangerous, I’m intrigued.

Mmm... I know I’m going to attract the disappointment of his many fans but I don’t like Saint-Germain. He’s handsome yes, but the one thing I hate in LIs is fakeness and duplicity, and I feel it with every bone in my body this guy is a liar. He emanates the same vibes as Lucien and Leiftan. There’s so much you’re hiding Comte, and you don’t fool me one bit! Also, his colour palette is too yellow for my tastes.

Sebastian is just boring to me. I don’t know.... he looks and sounds so plain. I hope there is some big mystery behind and that he will show more personality because at the moment he’s just meh. Also he can’t be just a simple, unknown human there must be something else (I hope).

So, currently, the characters who interest me are: Theo, Arthur, Isaac, Napoleon, Jean, William, Wolfgang

While Vincent, Sebastian, Dazai, Leonardo and Comte all follow at the back of the queue.

Let’s see after a couple of months of playing if my opinions change.

And btw I’ve seen the three new vampires and they look so much cooler than all the main ones combined! I can’t wait for their routes to come out.

Summersea’s GoT Season 4 Rewatch 2019

Otherwise known as: “The Long Slow Slide to D and D Running Out of Material from the Books”

4x01:

1. The visuals of Ice getting melted down are SO PRETTY (while RoC plays on the background 😎 living my best Lannister Life over here.)

2. Jaime getting the sword and trying NOT to be Lord of Casterly Rock and HOLY SHIT TELLING TYWIN NO and getting away with it.

3. Tyrion is trying so hard to greet the Dornish politely... poor guy.

4. It’s pride month so I’m just pointing out that Oberyn is soooo biiiii and This Bi Girl loves him. And him playing with the flame and Ellaria trying to stop him from killing the Lannister who insulted him... I just love their dynamic.

5. Drogon is just a big happy dragon-Cat and in Dany’s first appearance of this season. He PURRS.

6. I love Jaime and Cersei’s scene with Jaime’s new hand. They snipe at each other, but it is SO how they interact.

7. Jon and Sansa reacting to Robb’s death :(

2. Hello new Tommen! Good to see you again after Karstark killed your identical cousin! Also Tywin being like GOOD KINGS ARE SMART AND LISTEN TO THEIR SMART ADVISORS. (That moment when a sitting US president needs to listen to Tywin. Scary?)

3. Altar sex has not aged well for me. I’m not a J/C shipper who thinks they’ve got a healthy relationship that’s all sunshine and kitties. I know the two of them have a messed up dynamic, but this scene misses the mark in so many ways and I hate it. I wish they would have left it out rather than done it wrong. (Also I think it was a tryout for me for “can you get a valonqar scene right?” And the answer was a resounding NO.)

4. Speaking of healthy relationships though Sam and Gilly are cute and sweet and awkward and everything that is good and pure in this world.

5. And so is Davos telling Shireen about his smuggling adventures.

6. Oberyn sat his beautiful self right in the middle of the Kinsey scale and said THE VIEW IS GREAT HERE. What an icon. Also offering Tywin fricking Lannister a seat on the bed where you were just having sex with like FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE was A Move.

7. Tywin TELLS OBERYN ABOUT DANY and Oberyn looks like this is the first he’s heard of it.

8. Tyrion saying goodbye to Pod gave me a decent sized lump in my throat.

1. Missandei teaching Grey Worm and just hanging out with him is so important to me this time around.

2. Jaime and Bronn are weird friends and I kind of love it.

4. Olenna Tyrell is a STONE COLD LADY and I love that about her. She protected her granddaughter and I respect that.

5. That is A LOT OF WINE IN THAT GLASS Cersei my love. Also Jaime TRYING to convince her Tyrion didn’t do it hurts me. He loves them both so much, but they all hurt each other.

6. Ser Pounce is a big fluff like my Freya!

4x06 the laws of gods and men (and by men we mean Tywin)

1. Braavos is so pretty! I love her. I love her canals, I love the Titan, I love the domes, I just love her.

2. I remember when people lost their shit over Mark Gattis being in this episode. He is quite good here, and Davos is quite clever.

3. Salador’s joke about the red shirt is FUNNY and I’m not afraid to say so.

4. No one wants to see Ramsay having sex.

5. EVERYONE wants to see Yara giving a great speech.

6. She... ran from some dogs when she was burying her axe in dudes’ GUTS five seconds earlier? LAAAAAAME. Yes yes she also saw how fucked up in the head Theon was (more awards Alfie deserved and didn’t get), and she did want to lose any more people when he wasn’t willing to come but the way this was cut it reads like she was all OH NO DOGS which is the stupidest thing ever.

7. NOOOO POOR GOATS. I get that dragons have to eat though...

8. I cannot believe Dany didn’t take the time to FIND OUT WHICH MEEREENESE WERE LESS TERRIBLE. They would have been fucking allies. BUT NO LET’S JUST CRUCIFY PEOPLE WITH NO IDEA OF THE NUANCES OF THE LOCAL SITUATION. What stupidity.

9. At least she’s trying to learn??? She’s so small on that throne in a huge room. What a great shot.

13. How did they get the poison necklace? Didn’t Littlefinger throw it in the Blackwater FAR off shore? A bit AFTER he killed Dontos? How does Pycelle have it here? Maybe they washed up together? Maybe D and D forgot Petyr tossed it in the bay? WHO KNOWS???

14. Jaime trying to convince Tywin one last time and offering to leave the kingsguard in exchange for Tyrion HOLY SHIT I FORGOT HE DID THAT. Cersei never would have spoken to him again if he’d left her and married and gone back to the Rock and given Tywin what he wanted. Jaime KNEW he was screwing over a relationship that means SO MUCH TO HIM but it’s TYRION’S LIFE we’re talking about here. That’s how much he loves his little brother.

15. Tywin is like DONE so fast Jaime barely gets the offer out lol

16. And it all would have worked if Shae hadn’t walked through those doors.

17. Do we know WHY Shae agreed to testify to this? What did Tywin offer her or threaten her with?

1. Jeez Tyrion didn’t know Jaime COULDN’T save him. He had no idea that losing his hand had affected his abilities that badly. That... hurts.

2. Arya, Sandor, and the dying farmer is such a great scene... And Arya only killing that asshole only after Sandor learns his name for her so she knows the name of the man she’s killing.... A++ would watch again.

3. Everyone LISTEN TO JON he has seen things none of you have.

4. Tyrion finding out Bronn has been bought is so very upsetting but I love this scene.

5. But really though once Tywin named The Mountain champion, anyone who Tyrion asks to be his champion at this point he’s basically asking to die.

6. Dany’s like “well I guess fucking Daario isn’t going to cause a political disaster at least.”

7. I had forgotten how fascinating Selyse and Melisandre’s interactions are.

8. IS THAT SETTING UP BURNING SHIREEN FUCK THAT.

9. Dany is capable of nuanced thought when it comes to innocence and guilt of whole groups of people and WE JUST SAW IT with how Jorah changes her mind and I’m JUST SO ANGRY.

10. That is the only time we get the story of Sandor and the fire from his own mouth and I did not mean to be this moved.

11. Hot Pie talking about food (oh yeah and Arya) is so precious. And now I want steak and kidney pie. With gravy.

12. “Using honest feelings to do dishonest work is one of her greatest talents.” The truest thing Tyrion has ever said about Cersei.

13. What a great snow castle. Too bad Joffrey part 2 knocked it down.

14. Ew ew ew Petyr kissing Sansa is so skeevy and gross.

15. “A great deal might change between now and never” is a great line though.

16. I hate Petyr but it’s good he pushed Lysa out the Moon Door before she killed Sansa.

1. Jon and Co all reminding Sam that Gilly is a survivor is so great. Brotherhood at its best.

2. Missandei and Grey Worm are young people with old souls and their relationship is precious to me.

3. Alfie is SO GOOD at showing how deeply Ramsay has him under his control even when he’s alone with the Ironborn.

4. Petyr is part Braavosi? Fascinating.

5. Sansa TOLD the Lords of Vale who she was??? Her testimony is such a good bit of acting on Sansa’s part. It’s a lie hidden in a lot of truth, and she was QUICK to think it through and come up with it.

6. Jorah telling Dany about the pardon is a scene that breaks my heart. 💔 She is HARSH here but I love the full blown Targaryen on display.

7. Roose being like TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE like the Lion King cracks me up so hard.

8. I will never give Ramsay the Bolton name in anything I write as long as I am a fan of this show out of pure hatred. He is Ramsay Snow forever and always.

9. I remember I was so worried that they were going to have Petyr try to sexually assault Sansa. OH I WAS A SWEET SUMMER CHILD.

10. Arya laughing at the news of Lady Arryn’s Death is an immensely human reaction and I love that she just CANNOT STOP.

11. I know people hated that scene with Jaime and Tyrion talking about beetles but I have two takeaways: first, a septon tried to touch Jaime once???? Headcanon: Little Jaime looked that septon dead in the eye and said “my father wouldn’t like that” and it never happened again. The septon was summarily replaced. Second: Jaime has never thought about ANYTHING in his whole life as deeply as baby Tyrion thought about beetles.

12. Oberyn is so fun to watch fight and Jaime agrees with me.

13. You don’t need him to confess Oberyn really you don’t you GOT HIM my beautiful prince.

14. How did the Gods make their will known if BOTH champions killed each other dead, huh Tywin? (The Mountain is... less Dead?)

1. Sam mulling over the legalistic interpretation of their vows and Jon trying to explain what sex and love are like are both SO CUTE.

2. I love that everyone around that fire has heard the “Tormund fucked a bear” story and I’m kind of sorry Ygritte didn’t let him finish.

3. Maester Aemon revealing his Targaryen identity was lovely. Also Sam Cussing to get Gilly in the gate= AMAZING

4. Alliser Thorne ADMITTING HE WAS WRONG? I am dead of shock.

5. Sam and Pyp talking about fear and bravery is... so darling.

Thoughts on Season 3 of Fuller House (3B):

Thoughts on 3A here. So just binge-watched all 9 episodes of it today haha and here are my random thoughts:

I LOVE THE GIBBLER FAMILY I LOVE FERNANDO AND KIMMY!!!! I JUST NEEDED MORE AND MORE OF THOSE TWO TOGETHER THROUGHOUT THIS SEASON AND/OR MORE GIBBLER FAMILY MOMENTS IN GENERAL THEY’RE JUST SUCH A WARM, LOVING, AND ADORABLY PERFECT FAMILY WHEN THEY’RE TOGETHER AND SO FUNNY WHEN THEY TRY TO OUTSHINE EVERYONE ELSE I LOVE THEM HAHA

Seriously, Andrea Barber is such a great actress!! Like honestly, she should really win an Emmy for this show I am not kidding haha. She is soooo entertaining!! and wickedly talented at acting!!!!

DJ AND STEVE YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! FINALLY!!!! I’VE WAITED SO LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! I’m not exactly 100% down on the whole DJ x Steve thing; I’ve said before that I think currently, the actor who plays Matt has more chemistry with DJ, but DJ x Steve was how it was SUPPOSED TO BE and I’m 2000% down for that. Also, idk how, but I think the Steve actor guy (Scott Weinger) somehow got cuter/more likable over the Season 3 break. He just seems to look a bit cuter and has more chemistry with DJ now lol (the kind he should have had at the beginning of Season 1).

The wedding fiasco... didn’t go down as ideally as I would have liked it to... it was the ultimate break-up — a wedding break-up — so it was, in a way, what you would have expected: really sad and harsh-letdowns all-around... idk how it could have turned out better (although there really is no excuse for how Steve and DJ treated their significant others ://). I am glad they didn’t drag out the whole DJ x Steve thing, though. And the Japanese-set episode was really fun!! Really enjoyed seeing all of the different, beautiful sights and experiences!! Wish we had gotten to see more of those :33 (The Japanese episode was definitely a bit shorter than I had expected.) Also loved how the episode was shot.

The appearance of the Japanese boy group Sexy Zone made me think of K-pop, and how much I love it, so I could relate. Sorry, guys, I just had to put that in there :PPP

KIMMY’S FASHION STYLE IS JUST SLAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! PROPS TO HER STYLIST IDK HOW THEY DO IT BUT SHE MAKES WACKY AND CRAZY LOOK SO AWESOME AND GOOOOD!!!!!

That alligator scene was top-notch. Great acting/balancing!

Seriously, as much as I love DJ and Steve, I will be so, so, so, so, so sad to see John Brotherton (the guy who plays Matt) go if he no longer gets a larger presence on the show. I have really, really appreciated the character Matt and have really enjoyed watching John’s performance.

Max, thankfully, is getting a little less annoying to handle on-screen (might have to do with his lack of scenes with the dog, which perhaps makes him less juvenile???). Also not exactly into his whole “I’m a smart guy”-type persona, but it’s not done terribly or maybe I’m getting used to it, so I can live with it. Idk, I just know I laughed more at and enjoyed his scenes more than I used to (he’s my least favorite character on the show, and probably still is).

Not really a fan of Max’s relationship with CJ’s girl, either (seems a bit forced), but whatever. If they want to make them that horrendously (I am not exaggerating when I use that word) cute couple, then more power to them.

Kinda sad/disappointed we didn’t get to see Popko for 3B, but he was a jerk, so it’s all okay. Ramona didn’t exactly get any love interests this time around, which is fine. And I really, really hope she doesn’t get with that high school dance-team guy, ugh. The dance-rival thing-y is cute enough, though, and I can see it being pulled off in the future.

I also don’t know why Ramona would skip out on SAFSPA: seemed like it was definitely her dream/goal as portrayed thus far, but okay, maybe it wasn’t. I thought the lesson we got out of that whole parent/kid situation was really good/nice.

Jackson and Rocki are a thing, and I AM LIVING FOR IT!!!!!! I’m just a sucker for nerdy guy/cool girl relationships, tbh :p :p

Still don’t like how Gia (a.k.a. Rocky’s mom) is sometimes cast as the “villain,” but oh well. I guess that discrepancy comes from us wanting post-Full House to be absolutely, 100% “feel-good,” but Gia was inherently written as a “bad” character, so she’s destined to be somewhat of the “bad” girl, no matter how far we get into the Fuller House world. At least she was written as less “evil” this time around.

ADORED Fernando and Tommy; ADORED Fernando, Tommy, and the race-car storyline; and ADORED Fernando and Tommy vs. Jesse and Pamela moment.

Tommy’s cute rn and had some really, really adorable moments this time around (funny enough, I enjoy him with Cosmo more than I do Max + Cosmo). I just really hope he doesn’t end up becoming annoying and unlikable like Michelle was on the original show. I liked Michelle as a baby/younger, but I didn’t enjoy her when she got older/was a toddler.

Honestly, I’ve never been a big fan of the “let’s be cute with babies” on TV-thing, especially on the original show, but I really liked seeing the guys or anyone holding and playing with the babies this time around. For once, I was like, “You know what?? I get it. This totally warms and melts my heart into a million pieces.” Idk, something cute and maybe more maternal?? within me just spoke :’pp

I STILL don’t think Stephanie should have a baby, especially when she has no job, no stable relationship, etc. I also kind of don’t want anymore babies lololol (first Jesse and Becky with Pamela, and of course, there’s already Tommy); there’s already so many people I have to keep up with on this show haha. But if that’s where they want to go, then hey, I’m glad the surrogate’s Kimmy and not someone else.

Needed more Stephanie and Jimmy. Or just Jimmy tbh.

When I saw Vicky, I gasped out loud. Could NOT believe she’s back, even though I already knew she’d be back/had a strong feeling she would be (idk if it was announced).

I DO NOT want the older guys (aka Danny, Jesse, Becky, and Joey) back for the majority of next season. It just seems like whenever the older guys come back it’s more of a static “callback” than actual progression of the episode/overall storyline. I enjoyed a lot of this season because there was less of the older guys; vice versa, I much more enjoyed seeing the older cast members visit this time because there wasn’t so much of them around. So yeah, reaaaalllly hoping we don’t see that much more of the older cast during the next season (if they get a next season), since they all announced they’re going to move back to San Francisco.

On the other hand, I’d really like to see Danny and Vicky finally get a news/television show together and get married already, lol.

I do like it when the older and newer generations are well-integrated, though. The Danny, Jesse, Joey, Steve, and Fernando scene was really funny and one of my favorites. Fuller House is basically just one big fanfiction that isn’t perfectly written, but it’s pretty snappin’ close, and it’s all TRUE AND Y’ALL GET TO CLAIM IT AND CALL IT CANON!! :P :P

Like I said, glad the whole DJ x Steve thing didn’t get dragged out, but a little disappointed it wasn’t exactly, totally resolved... But it’s okay; I can live with it, for the most part. At least they’ve decided they really do love each other, got in a good kiss, and want to try to pursue a real relationship again (hopefully that doesn’t get messed up next season). Excited to see what happens when they’re finally together after the “6 months” are over huehue...

CAN YOU IMAGINE STEVE BEING A DAD AND HELPING JACKSON, MAX, AND THE REST OF THE BOYS OUT?!?!? LIKE MAYBE THEM COMING TO HIM FOR ADVICE ON “BOY/GUY STUFF” AND HIM ANSWERING ALL OF THEIR QUESTIONS AND/OR TRYING HIS BEST TO HELP THEM OH MY WORD IT WOULD BE SO CUTEEEEEEE!!!!

Happy that there wasn’t so much drama over “whether DJ would pick Matt or Steve”; I really didn’t want that plot point to drag on forever :V :V There was a lot more focus on the girls and family-interactions this time around, which I liked, even though it meant less of the adult pairings altogether.

TBH, there weren’t that many substantial main storylines or funny lines during this half of the season, imo (SHOUT OUT to that “ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM” EXCHANGE THOUGH; that scene was hilarious!!). A lot of it focused on everyday family interactions or Stephanie’s “surrogate/trying-to-get-a-baby” storyline (for those who are curious, I’d say the most we got this season was a solid on Stephanie’s storyline, and DJ and Steve confirming they will be getting together, but there really isn’t any further development toward their relationship. Also surprised they didn’t have a Christmas episode??) But tbh, I’m not mad. It was nice to not have to worry about any big romantic or whatever-else-possible drama, and just focus on seeing these characters interact with one another as a family. It was just ordinary, nice, and cheesy fun, and somehow kept me laughing and smiling like an idiot the entire time (which, in a way, is a nice nod to the original show’s purpose). This is really, really just a feel-good show. And you can see that reflected in the cast. You can just tell how comfortable everyone is with one another, and at times, you can see some real tears about to be shed during a couple of heart-felt scenes. It really is just about one big, ordinary, and optimistic family (although sometimes a bit too optimistic lol; I think they give themselves a bit of a dig about that at the end). So yeah, Fuller House is cheesy, ridiculous, lame, or whateverrrrrrrrr you want to call it, but I love it. And I enjoyed watching every episode of the entire second half of this season :’333

Please tell me they bring on Urkel as a special guest for Season 4.

Please tell me they will get a Season 4!!!! I KNOW THE SHOW SUCKS AND IS CHEESY AND LAME, BUT I AM LIVING FOR IT AND LOVING EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!!!

Yup, I think those are my thoughts for now. Might add/edit some more points in later if I can think of anything!! lol :P :P
