Let's talk about Sevika for a minute...
S2 talk ahead:
Okay so Sevika is a powerhouse of a character, we can all see that, we all have eyes, we all know her gorgeous ass can fight.
But like, it's always under someone, and S2 Act 1 has made that so much more evident.
She's a natural follower, jumps of the train of whoever holds power. First with Vander, then with Silco, and now Silco is gone, she has no one...
In a scene in S2 Ep2, when discussing who would take over Silco's position, Sevika is immediately excluded from the picture. Not because she isn't strong, everyone knows she's physically strong, she just isn't a leader. She still has a very powerful voice at the table, but she just doesn't take control, and honestly I'm debating whether that's because she can't bring herself to, or because she doesn't.
Realistically, if you take a position of leadership down in the undercity, you paint and immediate target on your head with a sign saying "take me down" written in neon above you. It's a risky position, and everyone we've seen take such a position, or even try to, has either died (Vander, Silco, Finn, and now kind of Renni), or landed flat on their ass in pursuit (specifically Smeech in act 1). She has to know that it's probably safer to play follow the leader, but she also seems somewhat incapable of taking on a leadership role in trying times. She doesnt really knowing what to do without Silco around now, and she's fallen in line with Jinx, someone she never worked alongside, even under Silco, because they opposed eachother so much (Sevika have a "tackle what I'm given the way I'm given it, no other way" tactic, Jinx having a "shooty shooty bomb explosion" tactic, not exactly besties...)
And yet here they are, teamed?
Realistically, I think Sevika likely won't take a sole leadership status, I don't think she has it in her, though it would be beneficial considering how little anyone on topside knows/ talks about her, and also, she's a badass, she can fight. I do think though that she may take on some more control alongside Jinx, well, I hope she does, that a power duo I'd love to see.
Sevika is looking for someone to follow, Jinx is looking for someone to shelter her, I think it'll be interesting to see what becomes of the two of them
ALSO SHOUTOUT TO ISHA I ALREADY ADORE HER SO MUCH, SHES SO FUCKING WONDERFUL, IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HER IM KILLING EVERYONE THEN MYSELF

It's two in the morning so it's sad hours.
As much as I'm loving Viktor Christ I can't help but think how 1) the Hexcore is manipulating him by using Sky and his guilt over her death and 2) his own traumatic experience because he fucking died!
Yes it is very rushed how Viktor left Jayce but Viktor is not in his right mind, I genuinely don't think he doesn't feel emotions, I think he's detached, disassociated or depersonalized. He died and woke up in a new non-human body, his best friend used on him the very thing he asked him to destroy! The Hexcore is making him feel all sorts of things, new knowledge and possibilities that he can't focus on anything!
The way that Viktor reacts to Jayce's hug.
It's this expression on his face, he doesn't feel anything when the person he loves most hugs him. There's the slightest movement of his part.
"it was affection that held us together" WAS, he doesn't feel it anymore, he's dull, his emotions are watered down by either the Hexcore or this extremely traumatic event he just passed.
UGH MY BOY I LOVE HIM AND NEED TO HUG HIM.
Also, I really really hope the Hexcore influence goes away, I like a good brainwashing trope but one of Viktor's charms is that he's insane all by his own views. His radical transhumanist ideals. I don't want him to be the Hexcore's puppet forever, because that'll be so sad and such a horrible destiny for him.

Some moots and I were digging in old Arcane concept art and we found this—this is a shot of Viktor cut from the initial Arcane opening concept.

What is Caitlyn shooting for?
In the first season, I believe Caitlyn shoots for the protection of others. Caitlyn rarely uses her gun throughout the first season, but the few times we see it used is for protecting and healing Vi. Caitlyn shoots to protect in season 1.
Caitlyn can make flawless shots when her vision is clear and more in line with this. Caitlyn skilfully takes the gun away from the child without causing any harm in order to shield Vi from Isha.
When Caitlyn is aiming at the child and Jinx, her vision is distorted by the scope's sights. When Caitlyn deviates from the moral of safeguarding those around her, she frequently fails to find her target.
With multiple of the visions, we see Caitlyn only focused on her hatred for Jinx.
This is likely to spread to other Zaunites following the attack on the memorial service. Caitlyn finds it more difficult to offer the kindness and curiosity she was known for in the first season since her loss obscures her way. The animosity that was formerly limited to Jinx's head has now expanded to other Zaunites.
Caitlyn believes she wouldn’t have missed, but when shooting out of anger and regret, her shots do miss. Regardless of how Caitlyn misses when that is her motivation for taking the shot. She misses. When Caitlyn attempts to fire on Jinx, she hits a single finger, and when she tries again, she hits Vi's gauntlet instead. Caitlyn's disappointment with the clear opportunity to take Jinx down certainly adds to her frustration with Vi. Caitlyn trusted Vi's opinion of her sister, which resulted in the death of Caitlyn's mother. Caitlyn trusted Vi’s judgement of her sister, and it got Caitlyn’s mother killed. Caitlyn attempts again and again to trust Vi's decision and maintain their connection during Act 1 of Season 2. However, it is apparent that Caitlyn has is already swinging towards wrath and mistrust.
When Caitlyn is shooting for violence and revenge, her vision isn’t clear. So, I don’t believe Caitlyn would have been able to hit the shot.
The clouding of Caitlyn's vision continues as Vi’s actions push Caitlyn to give up on the belief that Vi is somehow an exception to the Zaunites that attacked the memorial ceremony. This is arguably the most stark and painful clouding of Caitlyn’s vision through her hatred of Jinx and other Zaunites.
As it leads to Caitlyn tearing apart the very wound, Caitlyn was able to heal with curiosity, kindness, and protection in the first season.
The use of Caitlyn’s rifle on others began with the protection and healing of Vi’s stab wound and has ended (for now) on Caitlyn’s hatred tearing apart that same wound.

ARCANE BINGO!!! for Season 2
In preparation for Season 2, I'm making a Bingo board for all my predictions. You can join in too!
I've put a link at the bottom of this post to a Slides document where you can copy the template onto a Slides board of your own. (Just make sure to set the slide size to 10x12 inches. It's under File -> Page Setup.)
Below is my own board transcribed.
B | Zaun leader Sevika, Singed gets Operation Paperclipped, Vi prison flashback(s), Heimerdinger gets shot, Musician cameo
I | Caitvi Breakup, Caitvi get back together, Obligatory sex scene, Caitlyn-Ambessa team up, Mel gets deformed/disabled
N | Jinx fakes her death, Sisters childhood flashback, FREE SPACE: I cry at any point, OG mage appears, Hexcore = Void
G | Psychosis runs in the family, Ekko undercover, Jinx hallucinates Silco, Timebomb mention, Jayce gets a big makeover
O | Jinx dies at the end, Z-Drive, "The gLOriOUs EVolUTioN," Werewolf daddy, Singed daughter reveal
Below is how it would look on an alternative board style.
The Shimmer Board is pinkish-purple with the Rock Salt font in bold. The Hextech Board is light blue with the Grenze Gotisch Normal font. Pick your poison.
You can find the templates here! Or make a Bingo board in your own unique style.

Oh my god if this is the actual structure to the show then what the fuck happens in act one that leads to Vi becoming a pit fighter, I initially assumed pit fighter would be act I and enforcer was act ii and iii due to the noxus invasion (although it’s still possible for her to go back to being an enforcer for iii)
It makes me even more curious to when she will encounter Warwick, if it’s before or during her pit fighter arc

ARCANE SPOILERS SEASON 2 EPISODES 1-3
okay you wanna talk let's FUCKING TALK
okay everyone's saying Viktor is Jesus now WRONG!!!!
incredibly loud incorrect buzzer!!
because yes, the crowd of sick people are kneeling for him - but he's FUCKING kneeling too.
in fact, he's kneeling and he's looking up at sky! or at least, the picture of sky his mind has conjured up for him.
and yeah, viktors goal has seemingly always been to help the people of the underground and that's what he's doing, but i don't think he would be doing it without a sort of light in the dark!!! his sky!!
and ITS HAPPENED BEFORE.
WHAT IS HE DOING??? he is looking UP AT HER. UP.
and do I think Viktor is Jesus? NO. BECAUSE HE'S FUCKING MOSES. i said it! he is MOSES thank you very much!! he's a MESSIAH. a MESSENGER for HER.
plus, whenever he's looking up at her, homeboy is BATHED in light. in the cave in s2 and when he's a child and sees her. it's HER LIGHT. LISTEN.
and symbolism-wise?? it KEEPS WORKING OUT. because who else has a fucking STAFF?
yeah i fucking said it. the cane IS a mobility aid don't get me wrong but listen. listen. hear me out. i brought this point to my oomfie and they said that all the biblical figure have staffs but shhhh that's not conducive to my machinations
anyways he's Moses not Jesus and he will always look up for the Sky, his Sky, and in this essay i will- *distant gunshots*

The lack of Vander&Jinx(Powder) fan content is criminal to me.
Although not much was shown, we could see how close they were
We could see it in that bar scene
and by how Powder drew hearts and rainbow around him, unlike poor Mylo.
His last words were about Powder goddamnit.
I REALLY like to think this YOU is Vander (aka Warwick). Especially since Jinx here sounds like she's holding back tears, and we hear Warwick howl at the end.
Arcane plz give me more of THIS tragic father/daughter bond!!!

Arcane Season 2 Speculation
(Spoiler Warning)
So, if this place becomes Viktor's new base of operations, then it definitely looks like the fight comes to his front door in Arc II based on the trailer.
We can see Ambessa and her forces in his camp, along with Jinx, who is fighting against them. This leads me to believe that she will learn about and hopefully meet Viktor soon, perhaps trying to use this place to hideout from those seeking her?
I think this event could also be what leads Piltover to discover what Viktor's up to and what's going on with the Arcane, which I believe will be the main conflict in Arc III.
This attack could also be what leads Viktor to become the Machine Herald once and for all. Right now, he's peaceful and only wants to help others, but if the Hexcore feels threatened perhaps, it could lead him to finally weaponize himself to fight back and protect what he's doing.
It's also possible that this shot of Jayce is him confronting Viktor here as the background looks similar. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds!

A while back I saw someone ask if Vander would have accepted Jayce's deal to give Jinx up for Zaun. The resounding response was "No", because Vander was already put in that position (sort of), and he chose to protect his children by giving himself up, and Vander would never be in that position to begin with. Those are correct statements, but they're not relevant to the question.
The question was, if Jinx decided to escalate tensions with acts of theft and violence that brought Piltover's attention, would Vander let Jinx be sent to Stillwater? I think the chance of him saying yes is at least more than 0.
We're not talking about all the kids getting caught up in a robbery gone wrong. We're talking about an older Jinx going solo into Piltover for targeted destruction havoc. In a universe where she everyone's still alive, Piltover still exists, and her hatred for that place would still burn and grow with time. The question really was, if Jinx put Vander in the same position Silco did in the past would he decide to give her up?
For Vander, what's on the line isn't Zaunite independence for Zaun, it's the safety of his family, his friends, and the population of the Undercity against Piltover's retaliation. He'd probably have even less moves to play than Silco did at the end. Vander can't give himself up, Jinx's name has already been leaked, and he is agonizingly aware of what Piltover's capable of.
Would he try to have her sent away? Vander wasn't willing to throw someone else under the bus for the kids in the past, so would he do it for a young adult Jinx who's more responsible for her actions? Would he think Stillwater is a better alternative for Jinx who may end up getting herself killed? Maybe he can try to plead for banishment (though that seems to be reserved for Piltovans)?
The question really stuck with me because Vander was willing to kill a man he considered his brother because he went too far, what does that mean for a daughter that won't back down from her own agenda?
#arcane#arcane meta#vander arcane#jinx arcane#silco#obviously what silco did is still up for speculation until s2 and i honestly think it’ll be dumb and confusing from how the writers talk#but it is interesting to think about Vander's reactions to Jinx's actions#would he see the past repeating itself?#and would his reluctance with jinx make him rethink how things went down between him and silco?#the willingness to fight piltover and actually act on it has never not been apart of jinx i just think silco gave her better tools#but even without silco there escalation btwn the two cities was practically inevitable#vander really was just kicking the can down the road#would he keep doing it if it cost one of his kids to keept the other three safe?#obviously a real au would jinx be less conspicious bcuz she'd know Vander wud be reluctant to throw someone else under the bus unlike silco

Jayce/Viktor Prediction
1: (Character reversals) So far Season 2 of Arcane has a pattern of reversing character relationships and motivations. Now Caitlyn is the one being impulsive while Vi is cautious, Mel is antihextech weapons. Vi is the one mad about endangering civilians instead of defending it. Now Jayce is the one pushing for Viktor and him to do science together while Viktor leaves.
2: (Lore Changes) Also the Jayce/Viktor plotline specifically has been the most different from the League lore. In the lore Viktor does the augmentations to himself and Jayce is appalled, it's a big reason why they split. In Arcane Jayce puts the Hexcore in Viktor and is fine with the shimmer/leg augmentations.
Really this entire season Jayce has been shown to be suprisingly supportive and reasonable about Viktors choices, which is entirely opposite of lore Jayce Gioparra.
In the lore Jayce and Viktor's big fight comes from Jayce witnessing Viktor perform surgery on some Zaunites and mistaking it for being non-consensual. Here Viktor is trying to help Zaun and Jayce interferes because of his own ego.
I think that the next step for the Jayce/Viktor arc will be Jayce trying to stop Viktor from using the Arcane in order to save Viktor. In episode 3 Jayce learns that use of the arcane causes an unintended spread of dangerous magic in Zaun and it may be killing the Firelights tree.
So here is how it goes: At the beginning of Act 2 there is a time skip. Jayce is trapped in the Hexgates core thing for months while Viktor is building up his arcane based hospital/religion. He will be the central figure of this movement, a new messiah, much like how Jayce was made the man of progress in Piltover. For once he likes the attention and feels like he is finally doing good. Viktor is using a lot of magic for a long time, and from inside the Wild Rune core Jayce can see and feel the magical symptoms infecting Runeterra and especially Zaun. In trying to help the Zaunites, Viktor is accidentally poisoning them all over again.
Somehow Jayce breaks out of the Hexgates chamber and goes to confront Viktor. He tries to reason with him but Viktor won't believe it, he will be blinded by his own ambition and ego like Jayce was in Season 1. This will cause a huge fight which will destroy Viktor's hospital, like what happens in the League lore.

Arcane s2 predictions based on what we know so far:
Vi will join the Enforcers primarily to keep Jinx safe, figuring that if she is with the squad that hunts down Jinx, she can make sure Jinx is brought in alive. (Cait is the one to convince her of this with the, "If I go after your sister, one of us comes back in a box" line from the first teaser.)
Vi and Caitlyn will start dating / kiss / have sex early on or midway through the season; this is the scene shippers will love that was mentioned.
There will be tensions between Caitlyn vs Vi vs Ekko. Caitlyn will tell Vi (who will tell Ekko) that as Sheriff she DOES want to make things better for Zaun and on SOME level that is still true, BUT grief over her mother's death at Jinx's hands is spurring a need for revenge that has made her far more violent toward anyone who is perceived to be sheltering Jinx. In trying to defend Caitlyn, + joining the Enforcers, Vi looks like a traitor to Ekko, who calls her out. Vi also grows frustrated with Caitlyn's lack of progress on fixing Enforcer corruption and Cait calls out Vi's own hypocrisy re: violence.
Sevika will fill in the power vacuum that Silco left, taking over where he left off.
Sevika and the rest of Zaun won't cooperate with Cait's team to give up Jinx; even if they may not like Jinx, she's one of theirs and they don't like Piltie cops. Cait's best bet is the Firelights, but see above.
Jinx will kill the three bg Enforcers on Caitlyn's team and will brag about it to Vi and Caitlyn's faces, similarly to how she giggled about "half a dozen Enforcers, dead!" in season 1. (And no, I don't think Ginger is Ren.)
Jinx will go absolutely batshit when she sees Vi in an Enforcer uniform. And not in a good way.
Singed will sic Warwick on Vi and Caitlyn.
In the season finale, Vi will either protect Jinx from a killing blow or make it possible for her to escape. Caitlyn will witness this and take it as a betrayal (because Jinx killed her mother and wanted Vi to kill her), and will break up with Vi on the spot. This is the scene shippers will hate that was mentioned.

Possible Idea for the Firelights in S2
Which I’ve fallen way too much in love with, btw
After the Firelight Base is attacked, where do they go?
Do they just go back to their broken, destroyed home? Try to fix it up? Can they even go back?
Do they disperse?
Or do they go to a location most people (especially those from topside) would have difficulty navigating if they didn’t know exactly where to go?
Like an abandoned mine of sorts? One with really large, giant machines suspended in the air that could be used as little community hubs, perfectly accessible for those with hoverboards?
It’s just something to consider.
Seriously, I can’t express how much I love the idea of Jinx’s lair becoming the new base for the Firelights. I love it way too much; I’m going to be crushed when it doesn't happen (which to be fair is totally on me).
The old mines would be perfect for the Firelights, especially in helping them recover and giving them a sense of extra protection and security after what they’ve gone through.
Maybe it’s not permanent, but it doesn't have to be, it allows them to stay together, so it’s home for the moment
Destroying their base, likely making them scared to return, is an ingenious way to physically separate a group of people who are loyal to one another and fight well together, but this way they wouldn’t have to disperse.
It seems like the mines are well-hidden and isolated, with a lot of natural defenses – it’s been abandoned for a long time, there’s probably a complicated tunnel system to the cavern, and it has multiple physical locations (the drill/fans we’ve seen) that others (their enemies) can’t easily get to.
There are probably a few like Jinx’s lab, where they connect to the tunnels that lead outside, but the few we’ve seen in the background, seem pretty inaccessible – unless you’re a group of people who can fly.
There’s also the idea of Piltover and Noxus winning the day and those who’ve been pushed to live underground having to retreat further down to be safe.
But it’s not a defeat, it’s just a retreat. They’re still here.
I also really love the idea of how this place once represented darkness and the abyss, basically daring you to look down, especially when compared to Ekko's original base for the Firelights, representing light and hope, encouraging you to look up.
It’s still the same place it was in S1, but it's changed with all these other people sharing it with Jinx.
Not because she was forced to, but because she chose to open her space to others, one that was solely hers and we only saw her and Silco there.
But now it's filled with others, who've impacted and changed it with their own touches of color and graffiti and when we look, we see there are all these little pockets of light and color in the dark abyss.
There's still darkness, but it's no longer all consuming.
And I don't know, the idea just warms my heart so much, and I really, really want to see it.
Also, I can’t fully tell, but when Ekko is pulling the chain in the trailer, the area is dark and it could be a cave. So, maybe? Again, it’s hard to tell.
Seriously though, I love this idea so goddamn much!

I'm not going on twt a lot today it seems. I'm liking Viktor's arc, did I want Transhumanist Viktor? Of course but I'm also a BIG sucker for the "died and came back wrong" type of shit. And whatever the fuck the Hexcore is going to his mind is making me so invested. I want to see what he is going to do and I want to see if he stays like that forever (which I kinda don't want honestly) or he comes to his senses and goes mental.
