So, as it is that festive time of year again, there's been a lot of arcane Christmas stuff, and I made a joke to a friend that Christmas in arcane would mean the birth of jesus happened etc etc, and maybe Christmas was the celebration for Viktor's birth (arcane Jesus yk...)

I kid you not, this cannot be coincidence

Thank you yes. I have no hate for jayvik shippers, I should have clarified this better but it was early morning and I was on a train and STRESSED!

To clarify: Outside of the show, I think jayvik would make a good couple, I also feel like Viktor being asexual works really well, and not because he is disabled (I'm am ace and disabled, why in God's name would I push that idea), but because that's the headcanon I have had for him this whole time.

Within the show however, I feel like it doesn't fit, because Viktor is so consumed by his work and the arcane, and Jayce is all over the damn place, it's complicated, and not in a caitvi way, in a, the only way they could end their conflicting paths was to die sorta way, I don't know, point stands, if they had thrown a relationship in at the end (the only time that would have been reasonable), there'd be an upsurge because they died straight after, if not, well, this. They're doomed characters, it's the nature of the show

This feels like an important edit to add: I am disabled. Physically disabled. Please do not try and tell me how disabled people should be feeling??? This post is my personal opinion as an aspec disabled person. I have been badly affected by over-romantacism and expectations of romance to the point where my own feelings have been denied for the sake of expectations of what platonic love should look like. Them being platonic within the show MADE ME HAPPY. If you aren't happy about it, that's cool, but this post isn't about you. It's about my own opinions and emotions... thank you

I'd also like to mention I have since been educated about to creator's lack of knowledge about asexuality, and this is not what I am supporting. I've always headcanoned Viktor as asexual, that is all
