A concept I have been working on. I love to explore how different beings interact with one another in my worlds. Here we have one of Shepard’s Lost One inhabiting an abandoned head of a Bell Knight. Bell Knights, while rarely, will transfer to a new body if they deem their old one too damaged to repair. There is also a case of a Bell Knight being devoured and their husk is left behind. Lost ones are souls of unwanted children that Shepard collects. They are able to possess organic matter and take on the form of “tree children”. They vary in size but are usually small. A Lost One has stumbled upon the abandoned head of a fallen Bell Knight. The dented, but shiny metal is a perfect home or it’s fragile soul. Shepard happily helps the Lost One make its new home, vines wrapping protectively around the new vessel. The Lost One is content.
