But Gold being the one taken by the masked man, Blue not getting attached to him like she did Silver so when she escaped he got left behind. He has Aibo but that’s it.

Silver growing up with his gym leader daddy, a totally normalish life, probably overprotective if there had been an attempted kidnapping, there is no team rocket, just spoiled baby boy with his sneasel.

and maybe he goes to Johto because daddy set him up to fill out the Johto dex, and gold escaped from the mm at like 11, but instead of revenge or finding out his past he just wants to live free, but he sees Silver be given totadile and then how upset cyndaquil is so he takes exbo just to reunite the pair,

But silver who has been sheltered and doesn’t have a lot of friends sees how exbo already loves this boy and decides to invite him to help fill out the dex, silver gets picked up by a car service every afternoon and brought to his nice home, gold always meets up with him in the mornings at a prearranged spot.

So the two of them wander around Johto becoming bffs catching pokemon, somehow it comes out that Gold lives where ever, so sometimes trees, sometimes alleys, his clothes are ratty, Silver starts bringing him lunch, brings him a Viridian city gym promotional blanket (remember there is no tr so Gio is still gym leader)

A snow storm moves in and silver is freaking out, where are you staying this is dangerous, ect, gold is like idk I’ll figure it out, no worries, when silver’s ride comes he grabs gold and pulls him into the car, he’s like I can’t let you freeze to death

Silver shows up at home brining along this dirty very homeless looking boy, Giovanni is like omg wtf ew, I don’t want this street rat around my perfect baby boy, but again, blizzard, and he can’t/wont just leave him out in the cold

Gold has a hot shower, wears some of silvers clothes cause his are dirty and falling apart (and not weather appropriate poor cold baby), he has dinner with Gio and silver, Gio is polite but gold knows what he thinks, he likes hanging with silver so he ignores the judgement

Gio puts gold in a guest room as far from silvers room as he can, everyone goes to bed, due to his terrible childhood, Gold is prone to nightmares, of course he lives wherever so he has always only had himself and Aibo for comfort, he has a nightmare, wakes up crying into Aibo’s fur as his Pokemon tries to comfort him, he’s too far from Silver for him to hear buttttt sneasel hears, goes down the hall and grabs gold and Aibo and guides them to Silver’s room, the boys end up cuddling, after silver wakes up and is like omg what’s wrong

Gio goes to wake silver up and finds the dirty boy curled up with his son, he’s pissed off but again there isn’t much he can do, he ends up moving an extra bed into silvers room but again each morning gold is curled up with silver

silver starts asking about the nightmares, gold notices he doesn’t get them when he sleeps in the same bed as silver, they’re like 11 here so it is innocent just two kids cuddling and being friends, gold finally admits his past, being a child soldier, doesn’t go into the details but it’s obvious it was bad, silver is like omg we need to tell my dad! And gold is like no! He’s scared if they tell an adult somehow he’d be returned to the mm

The storm ends, silver insists that gold continues staying with them, Gio hates it but silver is spoiled af so he gets his way, it’s fine Gio makes comments about gold a lot, subtle digs (ha cause he is a ground type gym leader lmao) gold knows but ignores them, he’s used to it. Knows how people see him

He’s a smart ass and one time he gets himself and silver into trouble, except it was actually golds fault, there was a sign with warnings or something, it comes out that he never learned how to read, thinks silver will judge him, but he’s really kind about it, really cautious about ect

One day when they’re out filling the dex silver just caught a shiny gyarados, the masked man shows up, he’s like oh boy, I’m taking you back, I spent 9 years training you, you think you can leave that easy, then he notices silver, gets excited, I actually wanted you but my attempt was ruined, so I settled for that little brat, he was never that great anyway, but at least I’ve got a gym leaders son now,

Gold is like, ‘hell no you aren’t taking him, do what you want with me but you aren’t going to hurt my friend’ gold uses his new pokemon, fights hard, tells silver to run, tries to buy him time,

Silver doesn’t leave, instead calling his dad in a panic, tells him everything happening and a quick recap, Silver waits for his dad, wants to go back to help gold but gold flipped out begging him to run,

Giovanni arrives in time to see Gold being flung into a tree, he hears MM mention him being a terrible soldier, wasted his time, ect, says he’s going to take silver, gold staggers up, barely standing but says that he won’t let silver be taken, he’d rather die, mm says something about if that’s your wish, gold gets thrown into the lake of rage, as he’s falling he sees Gio, smiles as he sinks his last thought is he’s glad silver will be safe then darkness

Gio fights mm, ends up beating him, cops come, all the while as gold was sinking silver sent out his new gyarados who dives down pulling gold out. Silver tries to do cpr then an ambulance comes they try to ignore gold to help silver who has like a tiny cut,

Silver is just like no save him! They end up taking gold to the hospital, Gio takes silver to get looked at, cops end up finding out about all the kidnappings there were some bodies too (making this darker than canon lol) they go talk to Gio, silver is sitting with gold in his room, trying to help him feel better,

Gio feels like shit cause omg this poor kid and I was an asshole to him, asks cops what is going to happen to gold, is he going to a foster home? Cops are like no, unfortunately there isn’t space, kid is going to stay on the streets, goes in and tells gold he’s going to live with them now

Gold thinks he said it just to appease silver, when they leave to go home, gold is sure he will never get to see silver again, in the morning they don’t show up like promised and gold is just like, well at least I got to have a friend for a while, I’ll cherish it forever, cop comes and is super rude to him but gets his statement, gold has really high anxiety without his pokemon especially Aibo, they’re in a daycare while he’s in hospital and he is not sure how to pay to get them out, he doesn’t have money, let alone pay for the hospital

Mid afternoon the door opens, he assumes it’s the doc about to kick him out realizing he was just street trash, instead it’s silver and Gio, Gio apologizes for being late, cops wanted statements from both of them, he hands gold a bag with a stuffed version of his team, you can’t have them in your room but these guys may help you feel less lonely when visiting hours are over, it’s the first stuffie gold has ever had,

A day or two passed and he gets released, still not convinced he’s going home with Gio, but he does! And suddenly it’s spoil time, like gold has a broken foot, but he’s put in a comfy spot, gets lots of treats, his team with him, silver hangs out, finally feels like he has a home,

Time passes, Gio decides to raise them like brothers, gold gets tutors to help him learn to read and math and stuff, him and Gio end up really close, gold gets into sports with Gio being his coach, silver is happy, he’s training to take over his fathers gym, Gio sets gold up to have a daycare, thinks of him as a son

Gold and silver are besties, at least until they hit puberty, they shift into dating without ever talking about it, one day they’re cuddling like always the next minute they decide to try kissing, nothing changes except now they kiss lol,

They decided to get married really early like 18, it’s fine, gold doesn’t ever really talk about his childhood, they know things were bad but not to the extent, one day gold is walking in the living room holding a glass of water, he trips, glass shatters and he lands on the floor, Giovanni gets up to help him, but all of a sudden gold is in a ball crying begging for Aibo not to be taken away again. Totally inconsolable, silver comes running and they are both like ??

After that they get gold to start letting it out, telling them the things that happened, getting beaten, forced to train till he collapsed, having Aibo taken away as punishment, ect

He has a few more episodes through the years but for the most part he’s happy

Him and silver never split, die of old age ect ect

✨Which is your favourite platonic BG3 dynamic and why?

Hmm. Based on purely in-game stuff, it’s got to be Wyll and Karlach. Enemies to BFFs in like three days. Out of game, I love my Durge Lee with Astarion (they are like when you have two pets or perhaps siblings who sometimes just slap the shit out of each other for no reason before going back to chilling together) and my first Tav, Val, with Shadowheart (bitchy goths who don’t care about people except actually they care So Much). Would love to get around to writing them someday.

Also the dynamic I’m writing between Orin and Ketheric in No Highly Esteemed Deed. This is Ketheric’s emotional support surrogate daughter figure with zero red flags!

For my favourite dynamic not in the game or made up by me… we’ll get to that in question four!

🌊What moment in the game had the strongest emotional impact on you? 

Karlach’s breakdown after killing Gortash gets me every time. And I was sobbing in my Shadowheart Origin playthrough when I saved her parents. That storyline is so comforting to me, especially when, if you’re not playing as her, it’s Arnell who goes, “Ohh you don’t want to go by your old name anymore, of course we’ll love you for whoever you are now.”

Super proud of the slowly building Well This Is Fucking Uncomfortable in this one! And that multiple people have told me “damn how did you make me feel for Gortash here?” He’s still very much a bastard and I loved writing him hating the whole world, but he’s fucking Going Through it.

This Place Is Not A Place Of Honour: The multichapter sequel that I’m currently working on! The events between the gang arriving at Moonrise and Orin stabbing my Durge in the brain (and the aftermath of that, if I ever get there). They’re all doing their evil plotting in the background, but it’s mostly focused on the relationships between Durge, Orin, Gortash and Ketheric, and the various ways in which these characters are deeply fucked up.

Like I mentioned, I’m really enjoying writing Orin and Ketheric’s weird fucked up friendship. Ketheric imprints on Orin as his New Daughter Figure after Isobel runs away from him (just because he told her that her wife who he is currently torturing was dead so Isobel should get over her) and that’s going about as well as you’d expect. Ketheric is trying to fix Orin while ignoring most of her underlying issues, Orin’s worrying that she’s going to lose Durge to the Gortash and the Absolute plot, Gortash is determined to Win his relationship with Durge despite the constant red flags, Durge is causing problems on purpose.

Another of my favourite reviews: i went into that scene like "hehe the horrors" and i went out like "OH DEAR GOD THE HORRORS"

13 year old Orin ends up the ward of the BG1/2 protagonist and under a geas stopping her from murdering people, and becomes friends with 14 year old Wyll. Two Weird Theatre Kids with no other friends hanging out while Orin puts a lot of effort into drawing Wyll’s thematically appropriate gruesome death. They work so well together and their dynamic fucking delights me. And I love getting to see my two blorbos who fandom often doesn't give the love they deserve fucking shine.

There’s also a multi-chapter sequel of the two of them as adults going through the game plot. It’s still early on, but chapter four got posted last night and that’s my read for this evening, once I’m done killing Orin in my current BG3 game and need to go and read a kinder AU for her.

Hello, welcome to round 5, Bruni family part 1 (I think I'll be splitting posts about this family, as there are so many of them and they have 2 households).

Winter ('ice age') has come to my neighbourhood. I'm thinking of having it last this whole generation, and then moving on to the 'ancient' times. I am going to give each family a cave (for free), a couple more Sun&Moon mods (the giving tree/functional fire, and ice fishing). I believe most of the cave items are from the mining set (on top of the cave I just have a tiled roof with deco stones on it). For Sun&Moon mods head here.

At first it was not cold or snowy at all, so I ended up just setting all seasons to winter. I think to make it fair for the other families, I should start the all-year-round winter on the 3rd day of the season, as that's when it started snowing (and they couldn't fish the maxis way anymore). The Orange family is also a bit ahead in time, because I played them a bit longer the last rotation, so that's what I'll try to do.

The firstborn daughter, Baset, aged up into an adult this round, and the youngest child of the Brunis became a kid. The middle daughter, Satet, will be becoming a teen next round, so I'll focus on her more then (this round she was just happily fishing anyway).

The toddler, Gautseshen, started this round in aspiration failure, despite having learnt all the toddler skills (besides the Nursery Rhyme). What hit her aspiration bar so hard was the death in the family.

Even though Baset must be terrified by her younger sister's fate, she might have to start thinking of marrying someone, or her parents will choose a mate for her. They would like to have more grandchildren, and see a relative get married.

Baset wanted to bond with her youngest sister, Gautseshen. And after they had become BFF-s, they both wanted to go hiking. I imagine they went hunting together (I will use the hunting spears mod too). I'm really not surprised they are besties, since they have almost the same personalities (they both have high points in nearly everything, but they're 0 shy; members of this family are overall very similar to each other).

Not that it matters, but Baset rolled the want to get a job in Law Enforcement career, which is quite rare for Romance sims, I think. She will not be getting the job, but maybe it's a sign she'd like to fight burglars.

baby stobin, my beloved 🥺. this is just a series of one-shots based on my stobin month prompt “birthday” wherein stobin meet at age six and become the cutest bffs. in a perfect world, i work on this whenever and just surprise drop stobin moments. i just have a lot of emotions of stobin going through the growing pains of childhood 🥹I’ve being going back and forth on if i would write the series to overlap with the show or stop where s1 starts. The current one i’m working on is middle school stobin, so here’s a snippy snippy:

Steve watches Robin ride up the sidewalk of Hawkins Middle School. “Robbie, over here!”

She coasts to the bike rack —barely stops her bike in a slot— and tackles Steve in a hug. “I missed you, Stevie!” 

“I wanted to call, but my Mom wouldn’t let me.” Steve pushes Robin off of him and stands. He holds a hand out to her. “Come on, I want to show you all the cool stuff.” He pushes through the front doors and the student body is a mass of limbs. A large banner that reads “Welcome Back!” hangs above the hallway. Steve shoulders his way through the crowd and stops at a wall of lockers. “This one is mine.” He spins the lock and opens the door. “Look, I’ve already put our pictures up.” He points to a row of photo booth film. “Your locker’s going to be in the sixth grade hallway.” 

“Slow down! I’ve barely got in a word and I haven’t seen you since the end of July.” Robin places her hands on Steve’s shoulders. She frowns and tilts her head from side-to-side. “Still, tragically, 30% hair and 70% dingus.” 

Steve laughs and bumps his shoulder against hers. “So are you.” 

Robin blinks and squishes Steve’s face between her hands. “When did you get braces?” 

Steve feels his face flush. “Around the middle of August. I can’t eat gummy worms now.” He pouts. 

“No! Who’s going to eat my green gummy worms now?” Robin shuts Steve’s locker and pulls a folded paper square from her pocket. “Can you help me find Mr. Clarke’s room? He’s my home room.” 

22.) TikTok Stobin

So this is v much just an idea that was written down, but this one is based on a TikTok that was shared in the server a hot minute ago and I would have to track it down. It shows a woman knitting and she talks about how she can hear her apartment neighbor through their shared walls and he tells all his dates the same really cute story about himself and his grandma. and then it cuts to like a year later, and the woman is knitting something else and she tells the story about how she left her window open that looks out into the complex’s hallway and she totally flashes her neighbor and his date and she’s just like “what’s the appropriate apology for that” and the whole thing is v stobin coded.

Head Cannons of how I think Crowley would take care of a depressed partner GN (may be a series):

1. Crowley becomes a master at reading his partner's mood, offering support without overwhelming them. He picks up on the subtleties of your tone, body language, sighs, habits and actions that indicate a low.

2. He develops a list of comfort foods that he knows will make you feel comforted if not happy and secretly collaborates with Aziraphale, his resident foodie BFF, to create a stash of heavenly treats around his apartment.

3. Crowley encourages open communication, making it clear that his partner can share their feelings without judgment. He has no problem listening to you talk on and on about your feelings if that’s what you need, sometimes his hyperactive ness kicks in and he wanders while listening but he always listens. He will, when appropriate, share his thoughts. Additionally, he subtly incorporates positive affirmations into conversations, in an attempt of boosting his partner's self-esteem. He tries not to commiserate unless he is also in a mood.

4.He organizes movie nights filled with lighthearted comedies or nostalgic favorites to lift their spirits. He loves to lay on the couch with you wrapped up in some blankets. Often times he’s watching you watch the movie, he loves seeing your reactions.

5. Crowley creates a playlist of music that you like that’s up beat, knowing your tendency to feed your low demeanor with sad music. He tries to keep the music on his playlist for you with an uplifting vibe, including some of his favorites. When he plays it for you he tries to get you moving a bit with the music. He never stops you from listening to whatever you want, but if he has the control, he tries to keep it peppy and something he knows you like.

6. He offers gentle physical affection, like comforting hugs or holding hands, providing reassurance without words. When you sleep, he always goes to bed with you so you’re not lonely, even if he doesn’t need sleep. He always keeps you in his arms while you sleep. Sometimes if he’s feeling silly and wants to see you smile he will go to little snake from and do silly things or wrap around your wrist or neck to snuggle.

7. Crowley discreetly arranges surprise visits from your friends or family to offer additional support and connection if you have some that are good for you during these times. Aziraphale is often one of them, coming over to see Crowley and you and make sure you’re both alright.

8. He plans small, manageable activities to break up your routine. Encourages your hobbies or takes you to feed peas to ducks.

9. He makes sure your appointments either doctors and therapists are booked and don’t go forgotten. To that end, your prescriptions are always full, and sorted into boxes and he ensures that a dose never is skipped. Oh man these were so much nicer to do than a giant roster like the others... It felt almost too easy? too smooth? a few key decisions and the rest just kind fall into place on their own... although these do all feel a little flatter somehow. it might be the lack of weird powers.

cut because im too lazy and impatient to chop this into three separate posts but leaving them all together like this makes this shit nearly as long as the sternritter post...

So for starters I just didn't know what else would possibly work other than making Ginjo the Ichigo, substitute shinigami. it's too obvious, and frankly it felt like trying to mis either of them with anyone else would've left the obious protag energy too overwhelming of anyone else's contributions to the fusion...

but in light of the obvious protag I wanted to actively avoid the super on the nose choices for the rest of these. Notably I did not want token girls together,(sorry but no Riruka/Orihime personality swap happening here...) I opted for Riruka fulfilling the Uryuu role in the new hero party. A little snooty, a little colder, but still a bit of a smart aleck and a brat I felt made for a compelling rival. I felt like Riruka's signature toxic possessiveness had interesting potential mixing with Uryuu's Quincy pride and chivalry.. although that might just make her a femcel... I didn't actually think about if I wanted her to explicitly retain Uryuu's whole like, character arc, and affiliation with my shinigami-turned-sternritter...

I didn't go into this with a hard plan for Chad really, but once a few others had sorta fallen into place I thought it would be interesting to combine Yukio and Yasutora on the basis that they're both only half Japanese. Chad's experience being discriminated against falls back on him being big enough to defend himself, so i thought why not have a more petite half-mexican kid who, rather than being more obviously able to fight back, becomes more sullen and withdrawn a a result. It gives Yukio's sulking a little more valid weight behind it if there's a overt racism at the root of it, and frankly they're both already kind of quiet and keep to themselves. not to mention the hair in their eyes. appropriately his fullbring always felt like it reflected his hollow-like dysfunction, next to maybe Riruka's, so making him the demi hollow-powered member of the team, even if it still turns out to be fullbring, is a neat parallel.

Okay okay so Jackie and Tatsuki is a little boring. Superficially it's just two tough dirty fight girls getting the mash up. actually i guess that's it... There's a little more going on when Tatsuki's more of the spotlight in her other fusion, but in this case it's really just Jackie with more of an implicit martial arts focus. I also sort of assume her biker thing translates into more of a bosozoku highschool gang punk sort deal in this situation.

okay so hear me out... I know he's bottom rung here both narratively and powers-wise, but I've always been so enamored with the weirdness of Mizuiro that I just like keeping him around. In this case his weird secret pervert thing felt like it gelled well with Giriko's never addressed riding crop. And unlike Giriko, loosing his cool the moment he's in a real fight, I like the idea of applying Mizuiro's nonchalant over preparedness to Giriko's stiff and punctual demeanor. I have no idea what to do with the aesthetics of this fusion though because Giriko should probably be the base of the model, however many changes I make, but he's so specificaly designed to be an older guy that I just can't imagine how that jives with him as a karakura high student....

Yes I made Tsukishima the love interest... The one with the history. The one with the life debt and weird unspoken fixation for most of their relationship. Also the reality un/rewriter of the team. I have no idea what that means for, like, Sora under these circumstances...

And then Shishigawara as the dopey bff. I mean he basically already was that to Tsukishima, but now he can be that for Ichgio-ized Ginjo. And unlike Keigo he can fight. Funny enough i feel like he should be childhood friends with Jackie/Tatsuki rather than with Giriko/Mizuiro.

and I opted not to use Aura afterall just because I don't really like her or the LN in the first place. I had put her in the roster to even out some of the numbers, but once I realized she was just going to be the Kon of the team by process of elimination I figured we can just do without either of them for this little gang.

So obviously the reflex here would've been to turn Ichigo into the Shinji of the team, but I reject that.

For one I'm making Chad team leader here as the casual even in the face of dire odds, and very into his music on the side type. And take his whole left arm vs right arm thing and turn it into a kind of ambidextrous reversal theme sort of like sakanade. (I don't know that Im really taking anyone's actual zanpakutou into consideration here. In my mind the best part of the Visored was always those early chapters where as far as we knew they just had masks and no clear indication of a shikai, let alone bankai.)

And speaking of those early days of the Visored being interesting and mysterious there was a very clear parallel drawn between Ichigo and Hiyori that we never got to see elaborated on. So I say make Ichigo into a little rowdy, bratty, menace but with his core dysfunction of needing to protect everyone still intact.

I think maybe Uryuu and Hacchi are a little too similar as rather stoic expert craftsmen in their respective spirit construct skills, but I rather like applying Hacchi softer and slower demeanor to Uryuu's cool pretty boy routine. Hacchi's supposed non-combatant status also has some fun synergy with Uryuu's pride and chivalry and his consistent refusal to actually kill his opponents but instead seal their vital points and well of spirit power.

Orihime and Love I'll be honest came about largly because of process of elimination, but I do like that they're both a little silly and carefree, although in Orihime's case there's that obnoxious feminine demureness to it, where as Love is just kind of a slob. But I liked the idea of a more slovenly weird girl just chillin and doing her thing regardless of what other people think of her.

And as her bff is still Tatsuki but I wanted to take Rose's Takarazuka revie derived European prettyboy aesthetic and rework it into a princely otokoyaku shtick. I dunno about the music part so much but I guess it could retain some takazaruka sorta vaudevillian musical theatre vibes if it had to.

I know Keigo doesn't really have enough of an M.O. to work with beyond goofball, pervert, and just kinda innate "sidekick" energy but I felt like he could stand to take one some of Mashiro's childish delusional superhero gimmick. A guy who earnestly believes himself the protagonist of his own story, that may or may not be more harem anime than tokusatsu show.

And sort of hand in hand with that, his friendship with Mizuiro lending to Mizuiro taking on Risa's weird snippy pervert shtick. Still kinda quiet and keeps to them self but always prepared even under unusual circumstances.

And finally Kon inheriting soul of Kensei... Kind of just the last things left at the bottom of the bag, but I have to admit I don't dislike the gruff and hot-blooded brawler role being filled by the weird

Sadly I don't really know how to translate their existing powers into something kind of themed mask gimmick. Also i realized only as i was getting to the end of this set that i probably should have swapped a few of the human world team options around since that was one of the bigger pools, sort of like how i used different shinigami for the espada-into-captains than i did the gotei-into-sternritter... but by then i was too lazy to go back and do it again...

Again there was an all too obvious answer for a lot of these and instead I tried to dodge those to come up with something a little different.. For one, the obvious mix would've been Shinji as Ginjo but instead I went with...

Mashiro as the shady team leader playing pretend at being the hero. As a goofy meta nod, giver her the Fullbring ASTERISK. Although my second choice was Number One. (I'll be real I don't have the brain power to come up with specifically album themed powers that both fit the character and the song and the general bleach power scale right now... i know its antclimactic but ust let me skip these... =___=)

Hirako as the Riruka I like the idea of taking his being really annoying and her toxic romance thing and Hirako's bankai's ability to reverse alignment and morality. Fullbring, MY FUNNY VALENTINE. But for a hot second I considered Billie Holiday's legendary Strange Fruits, but that felt a little inappropriate; the song's a little too serious for frivolous jojo'ing.

Hiyori as the Giriko of the gang was a weird choice i'll admit. but i liked the idea of her kinda hickish character type mixing with Giriko's tender thing. Along with the kind of uncanny red tracksuit thing it shares with Gokusen's protag, I couldn't help but think of old yakuza films and, naturally, overwrought enka ballads. So i went with Makkana Taiyou[真赤な太陽] because it's also got the English localized title, RED HOT SUN. Although I considered Kawa no Nagare no you ni, considering it was famously her last song, but it felt like too much of a mouthful.

Kind of a shallow one, but taking Hacchi's quiet demeanor and making him a gamer just seemed like a very doable mix. I like the idea of taking his barrier tech and translating it into more of a computer thing. As a dumb joke I immediately leapt to the song Hey Kid I'm A Computer Stop All The Downloading, which is obviously way too fucking long, but it landed me on the band's name, FEAR BEFORE (THE MARCH OF FLAMES).

Zero hesitation, the two biker themed characters and the Fullbring is EZY RYDER.

Spanish music? Classical Music(and loosely french)? Clearly foreign to Japan. Handsome. Wavy hair. They both play guitar. OISEAU REBELLE which I shortened from L'amour est un oiseau rebelle, becauset felt like a bit to much. It's the iconic habanera song from the opera, Carmen. The full title translates to "Love is a rebellious bird" so that just makes the Fullbring "REBELLIOUS BIRD."

Both the bookish type, but one distinctly more pretentious than the other. Giving Risa anything akin to self insert powers given what she reads feels dangerous.... TRAUMAZINE felt a little too modern, but then Riruka's Dollhouse was named after the Priscilla Renea album and that was super recent at the time he did that. So yeah, I went with a Megan Thee Stallion album.

and then a mix of Love's kind of 80s hiphop and Moe's just kinda modern japanese delinquent seemed... i dunno, a little cliche, but fine. I went with the song PANIC ZONE from the N.W.A. and The Posse album just because Love gave NWA vibes and it was a cool title in the context of like jojo stand type powers. I was really tempted to go with a Wu Tang Clan album or something but somehow nothing quite had the right vibe.

(insanely irksome that the visored are the only ones that don't have something that can pass as like a logo or icon...)

This is such a weird bit... so i did this little triangle rotation of swaps for the most obvious big big three factions in Bleach... but then there begs the question of what do i do with the little mini factions? The Karakura locals of varying levels of spiritual awareness and combat capability... the Fullbringers... the Visored... The karakura kids feel like they barely even qualify, else they're just an even smaller faction than anyone else by far.... Do I count the Urahara shop and coconspirators like the dads as a separate faction?? But Urahara and Yoruichi already used as part of the shinigami factions before so do i nix them when i count people? And what if i roll them and the kids into one big team together? And what exactly do I even do with Ichigo? Should he be exempt from this whole thing because he's just kind of a universal constant? he's literally part of nearly every faction already especially the mini ones. and what do i do with chad... move him to fullbringers in place of aura? does he get to be in there twice?

And like my instinct is to rotate them in order of appearance, so the heroes, the visored, the fullbringers. But technically that's not how i did the major factions, i did those in reverse order, from 2nd faction(arrancar) into 1st(gotei), and then 3rd to 2nd(sternritter to arrancar), and 1st back to 3rd(gotei to Sternritter). So then do i mirror that with the minor factions instead? but of course therea re no actual rules to this, it's just whatever my brain decides feels right/wrong so like what the hell am i quibbling about??

Do you think this kind of lackadaisical attitude about the script actually helps Jensen, or hurts him? I would think that it hurts him because I've heard there are shows where improvisation is highly discouraged. It almost makes it sound like Jensen never really memorizes all his lines, he just gets an idea of the scene and uses his own words. To be honest, it sounds kind of lazy, but I was curious about your opinion.

I won't just give you my opinion but that of CDs, producers, writers, acting coaches, etc. An actor who doesn't memorize his lines disrespects the writing and the whole cast and crew. It's a huge no no. It's a very easy way to get blacklisted from auditions or even fired from set.

It sounds like Jensen has the entitlement of an A lister or a guy directing and producing his own movies and he takes liberties that surely offend the professionals involved as he is overstepping boundaries. If his relationship with the people on a particular set is like let's say director is his bff so let's him do whatever, fine but still needs to due inner prep work and proper script analysis.

If he's making calls on scenes without getting feedback from the appropriate people then his career is going to be very short and I am calling it now. Because that denotes a sense of immense entitlement and a lack of care towards others as well as especially towards the storytelling itself. Something a professional actor would never put at risk.

"an actor you can never fully write" is an actor who is incapable of embodying the character and rather creates a caricature of it...Jensen won't work on any A list projects because real actors don't work like that, ever. It's one thing to improvise a line based on your script analysis and inner work and another entirely to wing an entire performance with no through line and with the entitlement that you just work because you're Jensen Ackles. If that's the way Jensen approaches his scenes then he is no Actor, sadly, and he will never be an A lister, unless someone writes a hugely entitled character and then he can just play himself and "improvise" as far as it will take him and it won't take him very far. The industry is looking for actors who truly live their roles and to do that you must understand and embody the character. Jensen is all over the place and doesn't know his characters, he diluted SB and failed to bank on the role and as for Beau, he keeps shifting week to week so who even is he as a character? Because Jensen even changes his vocal register, mannerisms and makes misaligned choices compared to his previous work on the show.

Also, there's no such thing as "improvising" because when you are truly connected to a character you can follow his/her organic impulses and amazing things can happen and so I think this is the angle Jensen is trying to play, trying to come off like some very rare A listers like Meryl Streep who is indeed capable of organically following those impulses and giving you a lot to work with but I guarantee you that even Meryl learns her lines to perfection.

I'm really dissapointed, Jensen sounds like an extremely lazy, self involved actor when an actor should be about allowing others to experience catharsis by giving life to certain truths others can recognize themselves in. Sounds like Jensen goes on set to play different variations of himself and doesn't care about serving the story, the character and most of all the public. Hope I'm wrong but it all sounds pretty bad.

Me and my bff have noticed that the third girl that we incorperated into our friend group acts out when she’s drunk. She doesnt know when to stop and its become a problem. She always gets too fucked up, she tries to flirt or fight with me and my bffs boyfriends and talks about really graphic sexual stuff in front of them. How should we go about handling this? She doesnt understand us when we explain that she needs to work on herself. We really love her and we do alot for her (we always pay for her whenever we go out etc)

Hey angel,

It sounds like your friend is having a lot of her own internal problems that manifest as alarming behavior. This is definitely a symptom of a bigger issue. Dealing with it from a rational perspective while she is drunk won't help you, because she is not sober.

Who is the closest to her? Maybe you should have that friend speak to her individually. A group intervention will only overwhelm her and make her feel like garbage.

I would avoid framing this as "stop drinking now"/"you act a fool and embarrass us when you drink/etc. because it lacks empathy and perspective. In my experience, I avoid the word "problem" as well.

Try "Hey girl, I really care about you and I get really concerned when we are out. I have a lot of fun with you, but sometimes you get a little too drunk and act differently" or "Are you worried about your drinking? Do you think you sometimes drink more than planned?"

This conversation should happen in a neutral zone...away from people...at an appropriate time when she is sober and not hungover. If she doesn't respond well, just say "Okay. I hope you will think about it."

Try also hanging out with her in situations that don't involve going out or drinking. This will make it easier to just be there for her, without having to overextend yourself. If you are trying to counteract the behavior, your friend group might have to make a pact to stop drinking so much around her.

I won't say that she isn't aware of her drinking being a problem. I won't say that she is aware. The worst thing y'all can do is shame her and be too emotional. I know she is out of pocket, but chances are if you rail on her about the things she has done to y'all, it will only make her defensive and shut down. A lot of people who drink too much already feel enough self loathing when they don't remember what they have done or said.

Know this: you can't make someone work on themselves or see how they look from your point of view. You can only meet them where they are.

Give her grace. It sounds like she's fairly new to the group and you all don't know her well. The things she is doing has no excuse or rhyme or reason, but it's not a personal thing. It's a manifestation of poor self management and a coping mechanism. For whatever reason that may be.

The most you can do is say your rules on drinking before you all go out and try to cut her off. When y'all are out, just prioritize water and distracting her from getting too turnt up with random conversations or dancing. But don't police a grown woman!

Above all, set boundaries and be clear without a judgmental tone of voice. This should not block all of you from having fun. Be prepared for pushback, be prepared to distance yourself, and be prepared to sometimes go out without her. Give me an update and let me know how it goes.

I just think the whole relationship H&M has/had with any American politician is highly overestimated. They did jobs with Harry, and acted appropriately since he were representing another country. Same as they act appropriately when meeting other representatives of heads of states. This is the media’s fault and that they believe the PR H&M put out, same as H&M said they were ‘global superstars’. Sure, if Britain was ‘global’. Do we really thing that the Obama’s are great friends of William and Kate? Not really, but since they share common interests they can work on some projects together, or someone like Obama can now after having left office publicly support Earthshot for example. No, it’s not about how it’s completely incomprehensible for the Foreign Affairs MC to not know who Blaine is as soon as they first see them. But it is about FA! So pull up a chair because this totally non-professional writer is gonna sit you down and talk to you about how awful the flirting is in this book. Specifically, during this scene:

Let me establish the process I took to make this completely unnecessary post. I went through all of the flirting options for all three LIs in this book and sorted them into one of the three following categories (with quantity out of 30 -- the current total number of flirt options through the first six chapters).

Okay/Good: Nothing offensive and even mostly makes sense for MC to say/do. (21/30)

Iffy/Pushing It: Not downright terrible but possibly somewhat awkward, inappropriate, or nonsensical if you really think about the situation. (6/30)

WTF: Way over the line or completely inappropriate to the relationship and/or situation. (3/30)

Overall, not too bad, really. Most of the flirting options are fine. They make sense, they aren’t overly aggressive (unless it’s a Blaine scene and then Blaine is more receptive to that sort of thing, so it’s fine).

The Iffy/Pushing It category is split evenly across all three LIs at two each. They’re all entirely contextual and aren’t necessarily bad. They can just tilt toward being a little on the awkward side when you think about the context of the situation, and the relationship between MC and the LI.

WTF is all Tatum, and two of the three are from chapter six (the third is the leaning in for a kiss in chapter two for the reasons I’m going to elaborate on in a moment). You probably already know which two I’m talking about.

Now. The first one, "I'm glad we can be here together as adults," isn’t necessarily bad on its own. It’s that CRINGE AS HELL follow-up. THIS cringe as hell follow-up:

What the crap is this?!

What part of this kind of flirting is appropriate for this relationship? Don’t get me wrong, I am all for the overt, intense flirting options. Especially when it makes some stoic hunk of a man stammer and blush. Yes. YES. Sign me the eff up, please.

But these are childhood friends, former BFFs, who (as far as we’re aware at this point) were not romantically involved. They also have neither seen one another in some indeterminant number of years nor stayed in close contact. They’ve drifted apart -- considerably. Even if MC stuck around for the poker game in chapter 4, they’re still not really close. Even if there’s an attraction between them and had been one before Tatum shipped out, there’s no precedent for this kind of behavior.

So why the hell is MC insinuating that they’ve both had sexual partners and coquettishly dragging their fingers up his arm. How does that make sense for these two? Why would an overly forward MC applying a ton of pressure on a man who is already somewhat uncomfortable in his role because he’s struggling with balancing who MC used to be to him and who they are now be a good example of flirting?

Seriously. Tell me. I need to understand what the hell is going on here. Because it only gets worse with that awful “as long as you’re not vanilla in bed” nonsense. These would’ve been more appropriate farther down the line in their rekindled relationship. Maybe after there’s been more romantic development. When Tatum has more consistently reciprocated. Because it’s not well timed, it’s even more awkward and shiver-inducing. I’m not sure that vanilla sex one would’ve ever been good, even if it gives me hope for a kinky af Tatum scene in the future (I will pay good 💎💎💎💎💎 for that).

(This sort of awkward, forced affection is also why leaning in for a kiss in chapter 2 is super cringe. Tatum can barely look at MC and they’ve only been reunited for a couple days. Don’t try to kiss the dude for the first time, okay?)

What makes these two terrible offerings even more obviously terrible is that the next two in this scene are almost perfect.

Now wait. Here me out. I’m going to explain.

“I’ve been a bit lost without you” is an example of what all of the flirting should be like between Tatum and MC, at least for now. It’s a nostalgic sort of flirting option. It appeals to their shared memories of their friendship and how much they meant to one another. The “here together as adults” one could have gone this route and, rather than being something that would make me unbelievably uncomfortable if someone said that to me in real life, it could have been a moment for MC to talk about how it’s a time for them to get to know one another and the people they’ve become. Without their parental overlords looming in the shadowy near-distance.

But we already know you didn’t take that route, so... way to waste an opportunity there, PB. We’ll just add it to the pile of other missed opportunities, shall we?

Anyway. Tatum’s response to “lost without you” is also good, if not a little spoiled by his intense gaze and hitching breath. It shows that he cares about MC in a way that goes beyond the whole bodyguard/VIP thing they have going on now. It’s a lovely exchange that speaks to the hope of being able to pursue something more with someone who has already played a significant role in their lives.

And I also argue that MC wiping the ice cream from Tatum’s lips is a strong flirting moment because MC doesn’t make a big deal out of it. They don’t lick it off of their fingers while awkwardly maintaining eye contact or sit there with their mouth millimeters from his or, y’know, lick it off him. They do their thing, maybe drag it out a little bit but not an aggressive amount, then sit back, and leave Tatum going 😳. It’s a great example of one of the more forward, assertive flirting options that doesn’t take things too far.

Unlike the first two options.

IN SUM: Less of the first two kind of things. The flirting options that are just wholly inappropriate for the characters, the relationship, and the setting, and make you feel disgusting when you choose them. More of the thoughtfully considered options and reactions that correctly demonstrate the growing (or already established) connections between the two people involved.

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

His bangs are white because of polisios that he inherited from his father (he also has white spots on the back of his head but he dyes it because someone called him a dalmatian once). he's also quite tall and pale so people notice him right away.

37.) What is your OC’s biggest dream?

He doesn't currently have a dream that he wants to achieve. Rather, he doesn't have the time to think about having one because he's too busy living in the present to think about what he wants in the future. for now, he can say that he just wants to keep his unit safe and stay avoid his father.

44.) What are some things that greatly upset your OC?

He doesn't like it whenever people are being incompetent. He also doesn't like it whenever the subject of his past and his family are brought up, he'd like to leave it behind. He also gets annoyed by customers sometimes if they get too Karen-y at him or his team. (Poor Matt)

He doesn't know how to properly express it, but sometimes he will tell you that you did a good job and that you should take a break. would probably also give you a thumbs up if he thinks it's appropriate.

Ivano // Deus

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

He's the shortest on the lot HAHAHAHAHA. His eyes are peculiarly blue. Like, beautiful blue. Gojo blue! And I don't know if it shows but Suga was my inspiration for his look hehe.

Oh, to manipulate Matteo! It was the sole reason why he joined the unit.

He hates not being in control. Ivano probably has God complex. He thinks everyone is under his control (not really)

He is really rude to the members but I don't think Ivano understands the concept of 'love' and 'family'. Up to this day, he's still confused about why he cares for his members or his 'puppets'.

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

She's actually quite muscular and has very toned legs and biceps. the darker skin tone also attracts a few eyes on her because of where they are situated on (Italy).

37.) What is your OC’s biggest dream?

She dreams of the day when the identity of the person who gave the order to kill her people is revealed to her. She waits for the time when she can inflict the same amount of pain they had caused her. she hasn't found them yet but she's getting there with the help of Matteo.

44.) What are some things that greatly upset your OCs?

She really values loyalty and those who are special to her. Do anything to betray her or hurt those dearest to her, then you can probably expect either your water to be poisoned or something happening to your blood. Her biggest pet peeve however is when people litter and when someone smokes near plants (she's alright with you smoking but just don't be near any plants)

63.) How does your OC display love?

She likes making hot chocolate for people that she cares about. She'll ask about their day and would be down to cuddle with them while they're watching movies on the tv.

Gnu // PX or Prayer X (pronounced as Gee-nu)

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

Gnu is noticeably feminine. It's because the cult his family was part of (and he escaped from) groomed children to become "lady-like". Gnu also wore clothes that are color white so now, he's VERY obsessed with black clothing.

Another thing that is noticeable from Gnu are the two dots on his cheeks. These are actually tattoos that he got from the tattoo shop Mundo suggested back when he was still exploring his taste in fashion.

37.) What is your OC’s biggest dream?

His dream is for things to stay as it is, really. He considers his members as his family now and to lose his family for the second time is something he'd rather not happen.

44.) What are some things that greatly upset your OC?

Gnu hates seeing children getting hurt. By children, I mean anyone younger than him. That's why he's kind of protective of Achiyaku, Finn, and Mundo. He also hates people who are greedy for power. This killed the other children from his cult, after all.

63.) How does your OC display love?

I'd like to say his love language is Acts of Service? He likes to draw quick sketches (he's a great painter) of the other members. He's pretty protective with the younger ones, too - even does the things for them even (like reaching this, picking up that, cleaning this, closing that, the little things).

Mundo // Mundo

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

He's....so random. He has this tacky hoodie and he has nothing underneath it. His hair is dyed with an unusual shade of blue. His glasses don't match the "aesthetic" he's trying to pull and he has this weird stars and moon tattoo under his eyes (yes, he got it when he recommended the tattoo shop to Gnu).

It's not even possible to not physically notice him. The colors are all over the place and he's...exotic.

37.) What is your OC’s biggest dream?

Mundo is short and simple minded. As of now, he consideres joining the unit as his biggest dream (he is not an official member) in which Matteo (the leader) does not approve of since he's only 16 and should be studying instead of loitering at their business.

44.) What are some things that greatly upset your OC?

Hmmmmm....Mundo is a very positive person so I don't know if there are things that upsets him. I barely know him as a character, but he loves to have fun and he barely shows other sides of him to others. His background story has not been posted yet but Mundo is an individual the others barely know. No one knows his real name, his family background, where he studies, his real intentions, etc.

He's very mysterious....

CLINGY. CUDDLES. SURPRISE TACKLES. SURPRISE HUGS. He's like that younger brother that's literally obsessed with anything you do. He loves to cling to Ivano the most and Ivano keeps on swating him away (he "hates" him, he said) but this does not stop him from pestering him LOL.

Finn // Hermes

4.) What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

His cheeks are really full and are soft to pinch (but please don't pinch without permission. Also why he looks younger than he is)

37.) What is your OC’s biggest dream?

He wanted to become a bigshot in the robotics and AI field, but after running away when his brother died, he doesn't know anymore. he still likes his robots and coding so the dream might not be dead afterall.

44.) What are some things that greatly upset your OC?

he doesn't like it whenever people would talk bad about his brother (back in Germany). he also doesn't like it whenever people gossip about his team (especially those who talk badly about Ivano and Matteo). Finn also doesn't appreciate it if people were to touch anything that he was working on (be it a new model for his robot or his laptop if he's working on a code). Also gets annoyed whenever people call his stand creepy (he personally doesn't understand why they think so (RBR in the back: 👁👄👁) )

he smiles more around people and would try to engage in conversation more often. he would let them touch the robots he's working on and explain to them how it should function if he gets the coding right (MUNDO LOVES THEM EVEN IF HE DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE). also cuddles are appreciated.
