How to Make Apple Roses Mini Pies | Recipe
How to make mini apple pies in rose shapes.
Ingredients:
Two 9 inch Refrigerated Pie Crusts
2 Apples
Orange Marmalade
Ground Cinnamon
Powdered Sugar
Directions:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pie crusts to about 1/8 inch thickness and in roughly the shape of a rectangle. Slice into strips about 3 inches wide and 10 inches long.
Cut apples in half and remove the core. Slice apples very thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife so that each slice is half moon shaped. Place slices on a plate and microwave for 2-3 minutes or until apples are flexible. Pat the apple slices with a paper towel to remove any extra moisture.
Spread a layer of marmalade down the center of each strip of dough lengthwise. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Place a row of apple slices on the top half of the dough strips, with the rounded sides facing the top. The apple slices should overlap each other and have their top half sticking out above the dough. Fold the bottom half of the dough strip up and gently press together to seal. Starting at one end, gently and loosely begin to roll the strip onto itself, then seal the edge with a bit of water. Repeat the process with the rest of the strips. Place the roses in a muffin tin with paper liners.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375F for 30-40 minutes or until the crusts are golden brown. If needed, cover the pan loosely with foil in the last 10-15 minutes of baking to prevent the apples from burning. 5. Let stand in pan 15 minutes. Then remove and dust with powdered sugar.
| Makes about 8 roses.

You know darling, you bring out the worst in me
Sometimes when I’m around you, I feel like pure evil
I guess they say nobody’s perfect
But they’ve never met a devil like you
