I went into the notes looking for more info, and BOY HOWDY is there more info. All of it bad, unfortunately (such as this person I'm reblogging from, so as to include more context).

It's a little hard to dig up sources, because some of it seems to be on TikTok, but here's a reddit thread discussing the fact that this horse has HYPP (hyperkalemic periodic paralysis). It also has a video of the horse, where you can see the whole thing. (I wish it had a link to a good source for the HYPP diagnosis.)

Absolutely a VERY striking coat pattern, even for an appaloosa. But this is a horse that shouldn't have been bred, and it appears that the owners are hiding the medical/genetic issues.
