as you know me for my silly headcanon, you can take from my cold, dying hands my headcanon that Artemis is narcoleptic during the day and insomniac during the night. Like, when's the sun is up, she can just. fall asleep at any moment and like FALL. Fall on the ground and sleep like a rock. She just, can't stay awake during the day, that's Apollo thing!!! And on the contrary she's full energy during the night.

And she also share her bedroom on mout Olympus w/ Apollo. She will never admit it but she's the one who asked for that, to keep an eye on her little brother (totally not projecting). And they don't share the same bed, but their beds are so close that it looks like it and when she's forced to stay at Mount Olympus for the night she gets to hear all the stupid stuff Apollo says and sings during his sleep (again, totally not based on my sister).

Couldn't get the itch out of my head to write a version of Apollo's part in God Games where it had been his cows who were killed.

'Apollo.'

'You all know it was me who made it fair.

To make my pain one that is shared.

There's no way he will be spared.'

'But didn't Zeus let him decide,

To save himself and keep his Pride,

Now there's no one he can confide in,

Isn't that enough to set your grudge aside?'

'... I guess. Release him.'

Short but hopefully to the point. I just personally feel like Apollo being thrown in to the array of gods judging Odysseus was without reaso , so maybe it would've been better to retcon Helios altogether and make the cows Apollo's? Everyone else's parts were so solid and brought up specific points to Odysseus's journey that *could* be criticized/valued well by their respective gods.

- His betrayal of friends

- Him taking so long to get home

- His way of fighting (being called cowardice)

- And his faithfulness

Apollo's section doesn't hit as hard compared to these. All in all, I still like the song, but the awkward beginning unfortunately made it so it wasn't my favorite like I had hoped it would be. ówò"
