a/n: i wrote this like two years ago and never posted it, sorry if it's maybe kinda inaccurate now and short compared to my other posts

Fuse

I might just be fantasizing right now, but I feel like Walter's a real touchy dude and he loves when his partner cuddles up to him. He eats that shit up and doesn't mind cuddling all day everyday. He's definitely grabbing a handful of ass no matter what position you two are in, but he's a big fan of having you lay on top of him.

Valkyrie

Kairi only likes to cuddles while winding down, whether that be before bed or after sex. Her hands are on your waist at all times and she's always pulling you closer. She's definitely gonna flirt and make plenty of sleezy comments the whole time.

Seer

He's a lover and he loves to cuddle. He wants to be very close and intimate with his partner, so of course he's gonna wanna cuddle. Expect candles, nice thick blankets and maybe even a small massage. He wants you to hear how his heart beats for you so expect to have your head on his chest often.

Ash

Ummm Ashleigh Reid is NOT a cuddler. She is all business all the time. She will literally have to be powered down before you should even consider just thinking about it. Sorry gang

Mad Maggie

Also not a cuddler, but less anti-cuddle than Ash. She's too busy girlbossing and being a Salvonian icon to cuddle. If you're cuddling Maggie, you would definitely have had to be very close to her for a very long time. She's partial to spooning if she is cuddling.

Hey could you do some Revenant headcannons about him being in different skins and what he’d be like with his s/o? How protective they would be, how affectionate, quirks they have and so on. I absolutely love your work! Also are you still working on your revenant story?

Absolutely! So, I'm obviously doing each individual skin in the H.E.C.K. (one of those AO3 fanfics I have), but I'll be general here:

Each different kind of chassis has a different slant to his personality, varying from minor quirks to major overhauls

Trying to learn each one has proven to be a bit of a significant undertaking, but you've been taking notes (literally)

Each chassis has a different kind and degree of protective: varying from being passive aggressive to anyone he thinks encroaches on you, to literally being a chivalrous knight about defending your honor, to just straight up snapping like a wild animal at anyone who touches you

Sometimes it's the right amount, but a lot of times it's overkill and you need to try to calm him down or reel him in

The more violent chassis are the more risky ones with possessiveness, and not all of them will listen to you when you try to calm him down

The more meek ones will back down if you convince him that it's fine, but none of them seem to lose any vigilance when others are around you

You've learned it's safest to just remain in his personal bubble to minimize his concerns

Affection is very similar: you get a wide variety of flavors from more bashful and innocent to the polar opposite

One thing remains the same: his viscious teasing

If he had a secret love language, it would probably be banter and sass

Even when you can't reciprocate, either from a lack of wit or inability to understand his chassis's speech patterns and quirks, he's still overjoyed at your reactions

Feigning offense or just expressing your confusion always works for him

Interestingly enough, different chassis seem to resonate differently to your usual ways of expressing affection

Hand holding might be off limits to some, it's something he appreciates in others

The Forged Knight chassis just struggles to accept any form of affection, whereas others simply demand it or deny it outright

Forged Knight is shy, Unholy Beast is animalistic, and Relic of Death is very aloof and combative

You still haven't met them all yet, but you're hoping you will in due time

The Apex Games' Holographic Trickster!

Preface: I don't typically do this or engage much community wise, but a good friend of mine encouraged me to post some of my headcanons // fun little fixation thoughts on here. So, here I am! I'll have artwork accompanying the headcanon below the cut, I hope you guys enjoy the little ramble :]

✩ ,, cw + summary: discussion of eye trauma, canonical negligence and corruption within the Syndicate, personal interpretation of how Mirage got his scars over his eye!

✩ ,, Elliott Rodger Witt, one of the Apex Games' very first Legends — Mirage! — joined during the rising popularity and high demand of bloodsport entertainment! And with the want for profit, plenty tech used in the Games wasn't necessarily up to par.

At the time, this was passable, given the influence of the Syndicate and its hold over many in the Outlands. The dangers this posed to the Legends and those fighting to be on the official roster was disregarded in favor of the Games' rising numbers.

One of Witt's earliest matches was a prime example of this priority.

Mirage sustained a serious injury to his right eye when the Respawn tech could use some much needed touch-ups and wasn't nearly at its best. The laceration began above his eyebrow and drew down to his cheek; the only reason for the eye not being lost was because the regenerative tech preserved it as the rest of the match carried on, and he was forced to push through the pain and hope that he'd be fine by the end of it.

The Respawn tech wasn't nearly as quick as it should have been at the time of the injury being inflicted, though. The cornea and iris retained serious abrasions, resulting in the loss of sight in that eye. Witt doesn't let it get him down and outclasses his fellow Legends to this day despite it!

Can always count on the Apex Games' best getting right back up every time he's kicked down!

I did up this revenant x wattson ramble for a discord server that wanted to hear about it LOL so thought I'd also post it here ! honorable mention to @voltaage who has obviously played a big role in really fleshing out this ship for me in all the writing we've done together ♥

Wattson has both the streak of stubbornness that I think is needed to have any chance with Rev, and also the love & empathy to face his hate & anger - and this isn’t to mention the pairing of an electrical engineer with a simulacrum, which gives me Much To Think About, most of all in regards to wireplay and electricity kinks !! but also in regards to her ability to work on & repair him when needed which makes for Good Food and further opportunity for development.

cut for length -

her intelligence & curiosity & problem-solving nature make me think she’d be quite intrigued by simulacra in general - and past that, also that she could be very capable of learning to navigate Revenant’s moodiness and unconventional / sometimes evasive communication.

as much as that might annoy Rev initially, I think he could come to appreciate it in the long run, especially since Nat also has the empathy to really see & treat him as a Person and not just the scary metal nightmare monster he makes himself out to be.

even their dynamic as a team in the Games has potential: Revenant playing spider to Wattson’s electrical webs 😎 her and Rev could really bounce off each other in a match, once he recognizes her utility enough to actually play as a team.

she’s sometimes stereotyped as being a sweet & meek lil girl, but lbr she’s as much a freak as the rest of the Legends for competing in a bloodsport for a living lmao, and she’s got plenty confidence and a lil bit of adrenaline junkie mixed in there too, both aspects that play well with Rev. anyone without that confidence and a touch of thrill-seeking is either gonna be pushed around & stepped all over by him, or too afraid of him to get far.

there’s also something to be said for their experiences with family being completely OPPOSITE - and yet for them both, losing their father kinda defined the rest of their lives 🙃

as they get closer and spend more time together, I think there's some opportunity for them, ironically, to provide some semblance of domestic normalcy for each other; for Wattson, having Rev around soothes some of the ache in her heart living in an empty home, and for Revenant, the kinds of things Wattson invites him to do together gives him some of the normal experiences he may not have had growing up, like being loved, decorating for the holidays, looking through photo albums, and sappy shit like that. (make no mistake that he is still an outdoor cat™ ofc)
