for the @nasuversekinkmeme prompt:
there's a common theme in prompts for this kinkmeme, so the opposite of that: let's get some non-Fate characters being asexual
happy asexuality awareness week!

Enjou, Touko, Sieg, and Illya (or honestly whatever human-adjacent(?) characters you care for) have a talk about bodies, identity, and what it means to be human.

One thing that would really be funny when the movie releases is the inevitable best girl debate. But it's not Alice Vs Aoko.
It's Touko Vs Aoko
Probably the only best girl debate I can tolerate lmao go kill each other

What do you think of Touko ?
I usually don't. Touko and Aoko have a relationship template Nasu reuses a lot and I generally prefer the Touko-type to the Aoko-type in those, but Touko herself barely ever has moments where she's the one grabbing most of my attention.
Touko works pretty well as a supporting character to a dozen others throughout all the things she appears in, but her time at the center stage starts and ends with Mahoyo 1, and my thoughts on her conflict are already covered here. Paradox Spiral tries to give her attention by bringing people from her past and allowing her to be cool once but after Mahoyo gives her growing environment and her battle against Aoko, nothing Alba and Araya bring to the table feels as life-changing to Touko (not that Alba ever felt really relevant).
The younger Touko shows signs of bearing the same shackles as Aoko, that warping fear of disappointing both others and herself, perhaps even more than her sister because Touko has always been the little ball of talent while Aoko's mage responsibilities are quite recent.
The battle also meant more to Touko because she fully intended it to be the last day of her life. Either Aoko killed her or she touched the Fount and never came back. But she survived the end of her plans, found something new as a magical jack-of-all-trades craftswoman, became a fugitive on the loose on two separate, enjoyed the lazy gamer life, emptied her sister's bank account multiple times, and ran a detective office for a couple of teenagers because she has no friends her own age. Life goes on.
I don't have any coherent conclusion to this commentary on Touko's post-Mahoyo life and think that's self-demonstrating enough of how her post-Mahoyo is not any continued major character narrative. She's just there to make anyone the tools they need and provide the worst infodumps Nasu is capable of writing, and that's fine enough. I'm sure she's happier this way.

finished mahoyo and have so many thoughts and feelings, but the #1 thing on my mind rn is Touko and Aoko's childhood. I need to know more. I need to know about the chaos they caused. The pizza story was not enough
