Hatsune Miku from Aosta Valley, Italy!
I kept seeing amazing half serious half joking Mikus from around the world and NEEDED to contribute.
Here you can see her in a couple of "typical" outfits (explanation under the cut)
The upper left Miku (closeup in the third picture) is dressed in technical clothes for hiking in the Alps.
The bigger Miku has a bit more cultural detail: red flannels and brown corduroy pants are the stereotypical clothes of the "bacan", a person who's deeply tied to their Aosta Valley roots and lives for agriculture and raising cows. Cows are a very important part of valdotèn culture, and every year we have a competition, the Bataille des Reines, where cows called reines (queens) compete to select the Queen of queens (yes, I am serious).
She's also wearing a whistle, a sequined fedora and a red and black shawl with her birthyear and name embroidered in gold, typical clothing of the "coscritti": every year the 18 year olds of every village reunite on the days of the village celebration and, in a tradition left over from the times of military conscription, party and drink (making as much noise as possible, usually).
Her shirt sports an illustration of the Greundzo - a popular mascot based on local folklore. Last but not least, in her hand is a "coppa dell'amicizia", a wooden cup with multiple spouts traditionally used to drink with friends to seal and celebrate said friendship.
I put so much detail and love into this drawing, I hope y'all can appreciate it lol

“Someone should remind Emanuele Filiberto he’s not king of anything, and I don’t mean by deposed royals standards, he’s grandpa king Umberto disowned his father for marrying a commoner. The Duke of Aosta is the one who is entitled to the Italian throne and he deserves more clout” - Submitted by Anonymous

FINALLY! Conceived this story don't know how, don't know when, but it's been nagging at my mind for a while. I love history and with my dad we discussed italian WW1 many times, so this is Holmes getting involved on that very front.
Writing this i felt veryvery ingenerous toward generally armies. Some details are historical, incredibly young officers when maybe 30 or 35 years old sergeants were there but couldn't be made officers for social class reasons, i think that's generally CHILLING to think about it. Also, the duke of aosta can burn in hell (talking of that fascist of the duca invitto, for any italian who knows him) and so can the colonel of the regiment who's also an historical figure, Alessadro Pirzio Biroli, and also a fascist bitch.
I thank @louieclamlent for having betaed the fic and @i-dont-talk-for-days-on-end and @tyrannosaurusnacks for having listened to my rants, thank you girls, i love you a lot! Special thanks also to my dad, who's not on tumblr (luckily) and who helped me with the research! Hope you enjoy it!
If any of you wants to read this mess, @usergreenpixel, @cackled0g, @rainbow-person, @skyriderwednesday, @r2y9s-notartblog, @blistering-typhoons, @fruitviking

Napoleonic room
In the room are collected works directly related to the Napoleonic period, of which Giovanni Battista Sommariva was a protagonist, at first as a man of government, and then as an art collector.
The portraits of some members of Napoleon's family are flanked by a series of prints of the Fast, in other words the story of Bonaparte's deeds in peace and war, from the first Italian campaign of 1796 to the victory of Friedland in 1807 against Tsar Alexander I of Russia.
The engravings reproduce a series of monochrome paintings created by the painter Andrea Appiani in the early nineteenth century for the Palazzo Reale in Milan, which was destroyed during the bombings of the Second World War.
From the Royal Palace of Turin comes the chest of drawers of Giuseppe Maria Bonzanigo, one of the greatest Italian cabinet-makers of the eighteenth century, built in 1789 for the apartment of the Duchess of Aosta.
The artistic taste of the Napoleonic era is reflected in the two large porcelain vases "à fuseaux" produced in Paris around 1815-1830 and decorated with motifs inspired by antiquity, echoing the models of the imperial manufacture of Sevres.
