Someone: It's that crazy guy from Rakuzan
Kuroko: 🔪🔪🔪🔪 Who said that 🔪🔪🔪🔪
Kagami, holding him back: No, Kuroko.
Kuroko: 🔪🔪 I'll gut you like a fish 🔪🔪 using basketball 🔪🔪
Kagami, struggling with him: That's still murder!
Aomine, eyeing them: What is this
Kuroko: Someone insulted Akashi-kun. It doesn't bear repeating.
Aomine, tired, cracking his knuckles: Alright, where is he
Murasakibara: What's happening?
Kagami: Nothing!!
Aomine: Someone insulted Akashi.
Murasakibara: Bitch better have my money
Kagami: They don't owe you money!!!
Murasakibara: They do now

Nijimura Audio Drama Translation
youtube
Nijimura: Oi! If you have nothing to do, then go make rounds outside!
Members: Understood!
Akashi: Nijimura-san, about the groupings of the next game–
Nijimura: Oi Akashi.
Akashi: Yes?
Nijimura: What’s up with Haizaki?
Akashi: Oh, I didn’t see him since the morning today.
Nijimura: Oh yeah? I haven’t seen him since yesterday.
Akashi: Oh.
Nijimura: That’s weird. I didn’t see him the day before yesterday either. Can you please remind me what club he was a member of?
…..THAT BASTARD!! WHAT DOES HE THINKS HE’S DOING NOT SHOWING FOR CLUB ACTIVITIES FOR THREE DAYS!? HUUHH???
Hey! Has anyone seen Haizaki in school grounds today?
Kuroko: Um, we’ve passed each other in the corridors during lunch break.
Nijimura: I see, so he came to school huh? But he’s just slacking off of club activities. Haizaki….. Today, I’m definitely NOT going to show you mercy!
Kuroko: Haizaki kun. I wonder why he won’t come to club activities.
Akashi: Who knows. But even still, he’s a member of the first string. If his unauthorized absence continues, it’s going to leave an effect on the whole team’s morale. I think it’s about time for me to warn him directly about this.
Nijimura: Oi Akashi! Kuroko! Do you guys have any idea about places Haizaki is likely to go to?
Akashi: Kuroko, can you think of something?
Kuroko: Oh yeah, I think I’ve seen him one time at a game center after practice before. I don’t know if he’s there today too though.
Nijimura: Ho, a game center huh.
[At the Game Center]
Haizaki: Right… Right… Right… Yes!!  And just a little bit farther… Oh, it’s looking good! OH YES I CAUGHT IT!! COME TO ME, COME TO ME!
…Huh? Why the hell did you fall off at that place, I had you grabbed so good! What the fuck! They’re definitely making it loose on purpose!!
*starts to kick the crane machine*
Nijimura: Oi, oi. Don’t put the blame on the machine just because you suck, shithead.
Haizaki: Ha? Don’t you talk down on me. Come here and say that to my face!!
Nijimura: “Come here?” Since I’m in this place because I have some business with you, it’s actually a perfect opportunity.
Haizaki: !!!!! ….Nijimura….san
Nijimura: It’s good to know you haven’t forgotten my face and my name. So is it alright to assume you already know what I came here to tell you?
Haizaki: W-who knows?
*starts walking away*
Nijimura: I took the trouble to come all the way here to see you and you’re already leaving? That makes me sad.
Haizaki: Ha? To see me?
Nijimura: Yeah! Even if I look like this, I’m the captain of the Teikou Basketball team after all.
Haizaki: Hah. Did you come here to sermon me or something. You guys can still do club activities without me there right? Just leave me alone.
Nijimura: Pfft… Hahaha! That line of yours is too transparent.
Haizaki: What?
Nijimura: You slack off non-stop from club activities to get attention to yourself right? Aw, it’s alright, I won’t leave you alone. You sure are a “kamatte-chan”.
Haizaki: Don’t fuck with me!!
*attempts to punch Nijimura*
Nijimura: Oh? That was a better punch than I expected.
…..However, that won’t work on me.
[Probably in the Lunch Hall]
Haizaki: Ugh.. Ouch…
Akashi: This seat.. Isn’t taken, correct?
Haizaki: Ha? ……Akashi. It IS taken.
Akashi: I see.
*sits down*
Haizaki: I said the seat is taken! ……Damn it
Akashi: What happened with those injuries on your face?
Haizaki: So noisy, it has got nothing to do with you.
Akashi: Were you at the game center yesterday?
Haizaki: Tsk.
Akashi: I see. Then this will make things faster. Club activities for today will involve a practice match of first years vs second years. Please make sure to attend.
Haizaki: Ha? Don’t order me around. Who the hell do you think you are?
Akashi: I am simply fulfilling my duties as the vice captain.
Haizaki: Aaaaahhhh yes sir, is that so Mr. Vice Captain sir, thank you very much for taking the trouble!
Akashi: …….. Haizaki. What is the reason behind you not attending practices?
Haizaki: Reason…? I don’t have one. I just felt like it.
Akashi: If you have no plans on even attending the club, then you could always just quit, couldn’t you? Your slacking off has come to a point that it leaves a bad influence on the team.
Haizaki: Stop putting the blame on me.
Akashi: I heard that you started a quarrel with people from a different school the other day as well when you were wandering about. Learn to be more prudent before the problem gets out of hand.
Haizaki: I SAID. STOP ORDERING ME AROUND!!
Akashi: Haizaki! What will you do about club today?
Haizaki: Heh. I was actually thinking about showing my face a little bit but I changed my mind. All thanks to you.
Akashi: …………..
[After club activities]
Nijimura: Hai…za…ki!
Akashi: The cleaning and locking of the gymnasium is finished.
Nijimura: Ou. Thanks for your hardwork.
Akashi: Nijimura san, if it’s paperwork, please let me do it.
Nijimura: Huh? Oh, okay. Then, I’ll leave the continuation to you.
Akashi: …..So in the end, he didn’t show up did he? Haizaki, I mean.
Nijimura: Breaking his promise with me, that bastard. I should’ve punched him two or three more times!!
*Akashi laughs*
Nijimura: Well, that only means we have to do something about him again but anyway, how was the first year vs. second year match today?
Akashi: Yes… For the team with only the firs years, I think that the balance of fighting power among the members is close to being at the tipping point/danger zone. Moreover, with Kuroko’s participation, we are now able to create a change in the flow of the game. However at this point in time, we are not able to take full advantage of this change.
Nijimura: Yeah, since there are no players with a style like Kuroko’s… So it means that the ones playing with him must develop a technique themselves to go along with it.
Akashi: While we’re at this point, Aomine on the other hand, is able to go all out with his own playing style thanks to Kuroko’s invisible passes. In today’s match, his speed greatly improved.
Nijimura: He always practiced with Kuroko even before he came to the first string right? Either they’re in tune with one another or he’s just excited. It’s just like the straightforward idiot he is, isn’t it?
Akashi: On the other hand, Murasakibara is harboring annoyance.
Nijimura: Huh?
Akashi: Endurance, experience… It seems he feels a lack in Kuroko who is yet to catch up with the first strings regarding those matters.
Nijimura: Hm.
Akashi: Because of this, the snacks are disappearing at a rate that is 1.5x faster than before.
Nijimura: Stress-eating!? Really… His body is so huge but he’s really just a brat. He should be a little bit more stoic like Midorima– well, that’s not gonna happen.
Akashi: Since Midorima and Murasakibara’s personalities are quite polar opposites aren’t they?
Nijimura: Well, Midorima being Midorima is too absorbed in his own thing that he lacks awareness of his surroundings too.
….and he seems to be always holding weird things???
Akashi: They’re Oha Asa lucky items.
Nijimura: *Sighs* Really…. you guys are all so troublesome.
[Kuroko texting]
Kuroko: Hmm I wonder if this is too long for a message… Alright, this is about it. Pressing send…
*phone rings*
Kuroko: This is a ringtone right? Hello?
[ Ogiwara: Kuroko! ]
Kuroko: Ogiwara kun! Hajimemashite!
[ Ogiwara: What??? ]
Kuroko: Ahh, sorry. I mean, in a talking-on-the-phone kind of way.
[ Ogiwara: Oh I see. If you say it that way, it gets kind of embarrassing. ]
Kuroko: The call came all of a sudden so I kind of panicked.  ]
[ Ogiwara: Haha, sorry. It’s because just when I was trying to send an e-mail, your message to me arrived so… I got so happy I called you without thinking. ]
Kuroko: Did you receive my message?
[ Ogiwara: Yup! I received it. ]
Kuroko: That’s great to hear. Since we used written letters until now, I’m still not used to this.
[ Ogiwara: I’ll be your practice buddy so keep on sending me messages and calls, alright? ]
Kuroko: Okay!
[ Ogiwara: So, how have you been recently? Since going up the Teikou’s first string! ]
Kuroko: I feel like I’ll vomit. Actually, I do vomit.
[ Ogiwara: EH!? ]
Kuroko: The practices are so many times harder than the third string’s and it takes all of my ability just to finish them. Just remembering makes me go…. ugh—
[ Ogiwara: Oi oi oi are you alright? ]
Kuroko: Yes
[ Ogiwara: You get a feeling like… “that’s Teikou Middle School for you” right? No wonder they’re so strong. ]
Kuroko: Everyone accomplishes those kinds of practices as if it’s just everyday routine and it’s really amazing.
[ Ogiwara: But Kuroko, even before you were still in the third string, you did your best more than anyone to the point of doing independent practices, right? So you’ll definitely catch up to them one day! ]
Kuroko: Aomine kun told me the same thing before. You two definitely are similar in some ways.
[ Ogiwara: Aomine? Oooohh that friend you told me about before who’s really awesome at basketball? ]
Kuroko: Yes! Even in among the first string, his abilities are far superior. But during times I’m feeling down, he’s someone who will casually just keep his pace to match mine.
[ Ogiwara: I see. It’s nice to hear you have a friend who you can count on. ]
Kuroko: Oh yeah, he bought me ice cream on the way home from practice before.
[ Ogiwara: Ice cream???? Even though it’s this cold?? ]
Kuroko: That day, I was so exhausted and down because I really couldn’t keep up with the day’s practice so he went “well, just eat it out”
[ Ogiwara: Oh, I see! ]
Kuroko: I thought that it was to resupply sugar into my system and to cool me down…
[ Ogiwara: Hmmmmm, somehow, I feel like he didn’t really think about stuff like that? ]
Kuroko: When you put it that way… I really did start to think it may be the case.
[ Ogiwara: Hahaha! But he really is a good guy isn’t he, that Aomine. Well that means at least, that you are able to be a first string member without being brought down no matter how hard the practices are. ]
Kuroko: Yes! How is going on your end, Ogiwara kun?
[ Ogiwara: Oh! Well for me, even if it’s just little by little, they’re starting to include me in the starters. ]
Kuroko: Starters? That’s amazing!
[ Ogiwara: Even so, it’s because there are a lot of practice matches where the opponent also uses first years. ]
Kuroko: Even still, I think it’s amazing that you’re selected among the many first year members.
[ Ogiwara: I’m happy just being able to go out and play in the match but when the cooperative moves we’ve experimented on during practices actually work in the match itself, it really is the best feeling. It’s as if you were able to prove the greatness of teamwork. ]
Kuroko: Teamwork…
[ Ogiwara: Hmm? Is there something wrong? ]
Kuroko: Actually, there’s someone in the first string who doesn’t really come to practice often. He’s also a first year, you see.
[ Ogiwara: Ahh, so there really are people who find the practices too hard and back out of frustration? ]
Kuroko: Oh no, actually he’s a player that’s good enough to be chosen as a regular. But then for some reason, he just keeps slacking off of club activities.
[ Ogiwara: What’s up with that? Did he have a fight with a teammate or something? Or like his parents got mad at him because his grades went down because of too much balling? Did you try to hear his reasoning? ]
Kuroko: Well, I’ve never asked him directly myself but it seems that all he does is play around after school when he slacks off of practice so I really don’t think that’s it.
[ Ogiwara: Then… It really is just purely slacking off? Hmmm… No matter how good he was that he was able to be a freshman first string member in Teikou, if he keeps slacking off, won’t he be left behind by others? Does it mean he doesn’t care about that? ]
Kuroko: I think it isn’t like that but…
[ Ogiwara: Hmm but even while slacking off, he doesn’t quit the club. So that doesn’t mean that he has come to hate basketball either, right? Hmmmm… I don’t really know but if he likes basketball, he’ll probably come back. ]
Kuroko: If he likes baskeball….. I guess you’re right.
[Haizaki in stealth mode after school]
Haizaki: *Sigh* it seems I was able to go undetected but if someone from the basketball club sees me, I’ll be 100% scolded. I’m having none of that today!
Voice: Heeeeh. Who’s going to scold you, you said?
Haizaki: That hot-headed captain.
Voice: What are you having none of, you said?
Haizaki: Getting beat up, of cours— ahhh!!
Nijimura: You never learn do you?
Haizaki: Ni, Niji—
Nijimura: Oh hey there, I’m Nijimura san, that hot-headed captain! I was contemplating on how you didn’t keep our promise yesterday so I went out of my way to wait for you right here! If I remember correctly, we were supposed to have already met at the gymnasium yesterday, right? HAIZAKI? *cracks knuckles*
Haizaki: You bastard…
Nijimura: Who did you call a bastard?
Haizaki: Eh!?
Nijimura: Thanks for making a fool out of me. Come to the practice this instant!
Haizaki: Shut up! Always picking on me like a target!! Let me say this to you today as well!!
Nijimura: Oh, do tell!!
Haizaki: THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARDWORK CAPTAIN NIJIMURA, PLEASE DO YOUR BEST ON THE PRACTICE OKAAAAYY!?!?!?!?!?!
*bolts*
Nijimura: You— don’t screw around with me!!!!!!!
*chases*
Nijimura: Don’t you run away from me Haizaki!!!!!
Haizaki: You’re so persistent!!! It’s because you keep chasing me!!!!!
Nijimura: Don’t try to reason out with me!!!!
Haizaki: UOOOHHHHHHHHH
*Haizaki trips and falls*
Nijimura: Haizaki!!! Oi, are you alright? You didn’t sprain your arm or your leg?
Haizaki: You… Just the day before yesterday you beat me up and now you say these things!?
Nijimura: Isn’t it obvious I didn’t go all out on you at that time? Don’t put it on the same thing as you just simply tripping and falling.
Haizaki: You held back on me?!
Nijimura: Oh? Those are nice eyes.
Haizaki: Just as you said, don’t make a fool out of people! I’m gonna beat you up!!
Nijimura: Well isn’t that perfect, come at me!!
*Haizaki and Nijimura go at each other and Haizaki is beat up*
Nijimura: Well, you fight good but you’re still a hundred years too early to be my serious opponent.
Haizaki: Damn it…
Nijimura: Haizaki, don’t run away anymore.
Haizaki: I’m not running from anything—
Nijimura: Not about fighting you idiot. Hey, Haizaki. Why don’t you try to face basketball honestly for once?
Haizaki:
Nijimura: ………….Ah? He passed out. *Sigh* so troublesome, geez!!
[Teikou gymnasium]
Nijimura: Ossu!!
Akashi: Nijimura san?
*Haizaki groaning in the background*
Akashi: ……? Nijimura san, could that be….
Nijimura: Yup! Hey, where are your greetings?
Haizaki: ‘Sup…..
Kuroko: (His face…. is nothing like how it originally looked like)
Nijimura: You know this guy gets really energetic and runs around all excited when he sees my face so I also did my best to bring him here!
Akashi: But….. In his state now….
Nijimura: Oh pish posh, right Haizaki? You’re super excited to be able to join practice after all this time right?
Haizaki: Yeeess……
Nijimura: Yup, that’s a nice response! Well anyway, why don’t you go join that mini game over there! Off you go!
Haizaki: OWW!!
Nijimura: Haizaki!! That was your return wasn’t it!
Haizaki: Ahh damn! Give it to me!!
*shoots ball*
Haizaki: Yeah that’s how it goes!
Nijimura: Don’t go putting on a smug face just because you made one shot! If you have time for that then get back as soon as you can!!
Haizaki: Yes, sir!!
Kuroko: Haizaki kun….. He really is good.
Akashi: That’s what you think?
Kuroko: Eh?
Akashi: He indeed has abilities that is superior than the norm, however, the ball is not going to him in a way it can be most put into effect. It’s undeniable that there’s a lack of cooperation.
Kuroko: That means that indeed, there’s a fundamental lack of practice, right? However rather than Haizaki kun, it looks like it’s the other players who are feeling uncertain about Haizaki kun’s play style.
Akashi: So you did see through it, Kuroko. It means that Haizaki slacking’s off has begun to show its effects.
Kuroko: So it’s good that the captain was able to drag him here even while he used excessive measures, isn’t it?
……Akashi kun?
Akashi: Don’t you think…. Nijimura san is a little too hung-up on Haizaki?
Kuroko: Hung-up?
Akashi: Nijimura san has an eye for people. He has from the beginning a rather correct evaluation about me, and he knew about how you worked harder than anyone else in secret. But… He’s different towards Haizaki. Even while knowing that there’s a high probability of him leaving negative effects on the team, he’s made it so that cutting him loose won’t be an option from the very beginning.
Is there any good in letting the Haizaki the way he is now, stay on the team even to the point of resorting to violence?
Kuroko: Akashi kun…
*Nijimura humming*
Akashi: I’ve locked the doors to the gymnasium. I’ve gone and returned the keys to the faculty room.
Nijimura: Oh! Thanks!
Akashi: Nijimura san…. I told you, I’ll do the paperworks.
Nijimura: Oh? Well, I’m feeling rather good today because we were able to practice with the complete set of first string members after a long time so…. since I’m almost done, you can go ahead of me if you want.
Akashi: ….
Nijimura: What’s wrong? You’re not going home?
Akashi: I have something I wanted to ask Nijimura san. Is it alright?
Nijimura: I don’t mind.
Akashi: It’s about Haizaki.
[ Ogiwara: Oh yeah, about that guy you said who always slacked off of practice… ]
Kuroko: You mean Haizaki kun?
[ Ogiwara: Did he come to club today? ]
Kuroko: Well, yes, in a way.
[ Ogiwara: “In a way”? What’s that supposed to mean. ]
Kuroko: Captain went and beat Haizaki kun up and dragged him back when he was about to go home and slack off again.
[ Ogiwara: “Beat up”!? You mean with fists? ]
Kuroko: His face looked so horrible. To think Nijimura san was that strong…
[Ogiwara: Nijimura? Eh, Nijimura…. You mean that blond haired Nijimura san? ]
Kuroko: Eh? Captain isn’t blond.
[ Ogiwara: Hmm could it be a different person? But then the last name “Nijimura” is rather rare… So that just means it just isn’t at the present? ]
Kuroko: Ogiwara kun… You know our captain?
[ Ogiwara: Well, during elementary school, I actually watched a Teikou match once. When I did, there was this person who was a starter while being a freshman and he was so incredibly strong. That person was called “Nijimura”. ]
Kuroko: He was blond that time?
[ Ogiwara: Yeah yeah. Honestly though, his attitude during the matches weren’t really the best… Like he’s arrogant just because he’s good? He lashed out even when the people he’s talking to are his seniors…  ]
Kuroko: Nijimura san… Arrogant?
[ Ogiwara: So he’s the captain huh. It’s rather unexpected! ]
Kuroko: Well for me though, the story you told me now is the one that’s unexpected.
[ Ogiwara: Really? ]
Kuroko: Yes. Nijimura san is someone who can boast great faith from the coach and he listens to our opinions even if we are his juniors. Even to Haizaki kun.. Well, the means are quite, you know… But he tries his best to bring him to practice… It’s a very different image than what Ogiwara kun knows. Besides, he has black hair now.
[ Ogiwara: Hooooh. Then maybe… Some things might have also happened with Nijimura san since that time. ]
Akashi: What did Nijimura san think about Haizaki in the practice today?
Nijimura: Well, for someone who doesn’t go to practice, his movements weren’t dull. He isn’t on Aomine’s level, but his instinct and skills to bring the ball to the goal without any qualms haven’t changed.
Akashi: Hm
Nijimura: But that’s in the end, his individual ability. He missed numerous easier and more ideal chances to get the ball into the goal. There’s also that angle where you know the others hesitated to pass the ball to Haizaki but that guy doesn’t look at his surroundings to begin with. I guess his egocentricity did him a little good here.
Akashi: So you did notice.
Nijimura: It seems you are wanting to say something. Tell me. You don’t have to hold back.
Akashi: Haizaki’s bad conduct, isn’t just his own personal problem– it is beginning to leave quite a tangible effect on the team as a whole. Even if you tell them not to mind, distrust is something that grows stronger. After all, isn’t Haizaki’s reason for slacking off in the end just pure laziness? If he doesn’t respond to repeated warnings, then I think that the effort Nijimura san goes out of his way to put on him is just a waste.
Nijimura: Heh, you didn’t really hold back at all.
Akashi: In my opinion, I think that the faster we cut Haizaki off, the better it will be for the team.
Nijimura: Well, for the team, that may be the correct decision. But hey, can you give it a little more time?
Akashi: ….
Nijimura: To you who is capable and is able to walk in a straight line in life, someone who is aimless and who always postpones the answers might just seem “lazy”. But for me, his slacking off seems like an escape.
Akashi: Escape?
Nijimura: To never be ordered around, he’s walking around living selfishly but he’s probably just frightened to be bound to one place.
Akashi: I somehow sense some first-hand experience/feeling into what you said.
Nijimura: Hahaha, seriously you’re too sharp! Well, you can say that when I was in first year, I was also a bit sharp around some edges. When I look at Haizaki roaming aimlessly, I kind of remember myself and get embarrassed.
Akashi: So in other words, Nijimura san is projecting himself onto Haizaki? Therefore you think he’s going to change like you one day?
Nijimura: You really say it so bluntly. Well yeah, that’s probably it. Haizaki’s reason for joining the basketball team could probably just be because he’s just better at it than others. But then, why do you think he doesn’t quit if he just keeps slacking off?
Akashi: ….
Nijimura: Well, let’s go home. But you know I’m kind of hungry so maybe I’ll buy some meat bun from the convenience store? Do you want to come along, Akashi?
Akashi: Isn’t it already time for dinner by the time we arrive home?
Nijimura: Oi oi Obocchan. Don’t tell me you’ve never just went out and bought food to eat? There is a different room for these foods in the stomach apart from the one for dinner! It’s delicious because you eat it while going home.
Alright! I’m going to initiate you into the art of buying these foods so let’s get going!
Akashi: Nijimura san! I’m not exactly hungry…
Nijimura: This is my treat, don’t be shy!
Nijimura: Kuroko! Your right leg wasn’t raised enough in your take-off!
Kuroko: I apologize!
Haizaki: Hey, lameass.
Kuroko: Haizaki ku–
Haizaki: Give it to me.
Akashi: !? Haizaki
Nijimura: You’re late, Haizaki! Hurry up and go get changed!
Haizaki: *Sigh*
Nijimura: Answer!
Haizaki: Yes sir!
Akashi: Did you do something, Nijimura san? To think Haizaki will come to practice on his own…
Nijimura: Who knows? Maybe he’s learned his lesson after being beaten up too many times?
Akashi: I don’t see the merit on both sides in using force on Haizaki to practice –
Nijimura: I will force him, Akashi. As long as he’s in the basketball club.
Akashi: ….Why?
Nijimura: Because… I’m the Captain of Teikou. However, it’s up to him from now on if he will change or not.
Akashi: Is that Nijimura san’s way…?
Nijimura: Yes it is. But don’t worry. I won’t tell you to do the same thing as me.
Akashi: ….
Nijimura: Well, I’m not gonna tell you to copy this *cracks fist*
Today, I’m gonna have you pay the debt for all the times you’ve slacked off until now!! Prepare yourself, Haizaki!!!!!

--
It’s a quiet morning at the cafe, as is usual on a Sunday in December. No students rushing to class, no youngsters on a ‘morning date’ because their days are too crammed to find any other time, and no aged regulars because it’s too cold for that. Daiki’s just leaning against the counter, half-asleep and looking forward to a proper nap instead of the accursed morning shift, when the bell tinkles and the door swings open, bringing a gust of cold air in with it.
Just my luck. He grumbles softly and straightens up, blinking a couple of times. Moving from months of practice, he’s already halfway through reciting the usual, “Welcome to Miracle’s, what can I get you today?” when his eyes finally focus on the vaguely pink blur and bring it into full resolution.
Daiki’s voice grinds to a halt like a car running out of petrol, and his jaw drops open as he stares at the girl.
Long hair like a shower of cherry blossoms. Magenta eyes that if Daiki had to guess were normally alight with mischief, but now only hold a deep weariness. A full figure (and for the first time in his short twenty-two years of life, Daiki’s eyes don’t linger on it, too mesmerised by everything else about her). A small, distracted smile that seems more forced than anything.
She looks like shit. She’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.
And he knows her.
“Close your mouth, Dai-chan, or you’ll catch flies,” is the first thing that Satsuki Momoi says to him, in the most drained voice he’s ever heard, after three years of radio silence.
“I--” It’s all Daiki can do not to fall over unconscious. “Satsuki--what the f--”
“Language, Dai-chan!” Her voice rises a little higher and the dullness of her face goes down a notch, and Daiki thinks he hears an echo of the happy high-school girl she used to be. “I see you haven’t changed one bit.”
“I see you have,” Daiki says lamely after a pause that’s just a beat too long. There’s silence for a moment before Satsuki shakes her head and smiles, a little more genuine than before.
“Even your insults are as bad as ever.” Her lips are cracked, he notices a little dizzily. She never used to let them crack in high school. Always with the lip balms and care products.
A sharp pain in the back of his left calf, courtesy his coworker Izuki, reminds Daiki of where he is. Right. Coffee shop, barista and customer.
“Um. Anyway.” Daiki clears his throat, shaking his head. “What would you like to have today?”
“Black coffee. Strongest you’ve got.” At this, he can’t help raising an eyebrow.
“You sure? In high school, you--”
“In high school, I was a kid.” Satsuki’s voice is terse and tight, and her eyes are unreadable, in a way they’ve never been before. A chill unrelated to the icy weather seeps into Daiki’s bones and numbs his tongue. “People change, Dai-chan.”
He has no answer to that, so he just avoids her dead gaze and walks to the back to make her coffee. There’s a sudden bitter taste in his mouth as he moves mechanically, working from muscle memory gained over months of practice. But that’s just the smell of caffeine.
Right?
When he finally looks up, she's wandered off to a table by the window, thumbing lazily through something on her phone. Daiki fights to keep his face polite and neutral, the way the world's taught him to be, as he calls, "Oi, Satsuki?"
She starts, blinking a few times before getting up and coming over. Daiki holds out the cup to her, and pretends he doesn't notice when her fingers clamp briefly around his as she takes it.
"That'll be 350 yen, including taxes." It feels like someone else is moving his mouth. For his past, Daiki is still stuck in the moment when she first walked into the shop, the most wonderful and most terrible moment of his life.
Satsuki puts the money on the desk and gives him that empty smile again.
“See you around, Dai-chan,” she says in a voice that makes him think she’s really saying, “Goodbye.” Then she turns to leave.
Daiki doesn’t know what makes him do it. But he does it anyway, like a fool that’s been hurt too many times and still refuses to learn from his mistakes.
“It was nice seeing you again.” He isn’t lying. It was nice, and that has nothing to do with the fact that it was also simultaneously horrible. “Swing by sometime. Not to brag, but I make a good coffee.” The smile she gives him then is real, if barely there, and Daiki thinks it might even be a bit watery.
“The Dai-chan I knew would never pass up an opportunity to brag. Guess you’ve changed, too.”
She’s gone before Daiki can even think, sweeping out in that quick and efficient fashion that is just so Satsuki.
There’s one thing that hasn’t changed at all.
A few moments pass. The gentle puff of chill in the air evaporates, and soon the faint tinkling of the door’s bell is the only sign that she was ever here.
That tinkling pales before the sound of her laughter.
--
It’s Sunday, again. Daiki is on the morning shift and wiping down the counter, again. There are barely any customers, again. Now all that’s needed is for Satsuki to breeze in. Ha, what are the odds? Last time she spoke to him, she had this air of finality about her--
The bells tinkle, the door opens, and Daiki’s head snaps up pathetically fast, his hand stilling on the counter. It’s not hope that shrivels in his chest when he realises it isn’t her, because hope is for things that might happen and this won’t. It’s… it’s something. It isn’t anything.
He knows, surely, that that last bit is a lie. (That is, if all of it wasn’t.)
The new arrival is a young man with green hair, dressed in an orange shirt and dark jeans. He’s wearing glasses that surprisingly don’t hide the elegant shape of his eyes, fringed with thick dark lashes. A walking carrot if Daiki ever saw one. He’s got a serious face, which would be so pretty if his mouth wasn’t puckered in the unforgiving line that it is. Still, everyone has a type--Daiki himself likes people who smile brightly and laugh loudly and have a sense of humour with a razor edge.
That’s just Satsuki in a nutshell, but.
The man comes up to the counter, pushing up his glasses, and says in a voice as dry as his expression indicates, “I’m Midorima.”
Daiki eyes him doubtfully. It’s somewhat familiar--perhaps he’s one of Satsuki’s friends’ friends, people whose names Daiki half-heard and now wishes he’d taken the care to remember because every word that comes out of her mouth is a diamond and he’d left so many of those diamonds to glitter weakly in the dust.
“Shintarou Midorima,” says Midorima, a glint in his eyes that suggests he thinks this is helpful. It’s not helpful at all--Daiki can’t do much but raise an eyebrow.
“Daiki… Aomine,” he says slowly, because it seems like what he’s supposed to do next by ‘social mores’. Still, he doesn’t think the carrot is a master of those either, because he just nods and shifts awkwardly in position, not meeting Daiki’s eyes.
The break room’s door clicks open, and Daiki hears Takao’s easy steps behind him--ah, so he’s covering Izuki’s shift today. A small burst of relief flowers in Daiki’s chest: despite Takao’s overbearing exuberance and Izuki’s constant puns, both his coworkers are usually very easy to work with. However, taking shifts with Izuki in the mornings… Daiki’s calf still twinges from that unnecessarily harsh kick last week. He wouldn’t believe Izuki worked at a coffee shop, much less liked coffee, if he hadn’t seen the guy murderously chug a gallon of the stuff like water and immediately revert to his normal personality.
There’s a beat of silence instead of Takao’s usual cheerful voice. Then it rings out, loud and happier than Daiki’s ever heard him.
“Shiiiin-chan!” Takao runs out from behind the counter, jumping straight onto Midorima, who makes a resigned noise and catches him easily. Like he’s used to it.
“Oh, Aomine, this is my boyfriend,” Takao informs Daiki, who can’t help an amused smile. “Shin-chan.”
“Midorima,” Midorima says a little too quickly, as if afraid Daiki will call him ‘Shin-chan’ too. Daiki nods, lets the briefest of polite smiles brush his lips.
“Don’t worry about us, Aomine! We’ll just be over here!” Takao sings, dragging Midorima off to the bathroom.
“Come back in case there’s a rush,” Daiki drawls half-heartedly, and goes back to polishing the counter. A few minutes pass, maybe more; he’s too busy scrubbing at a particularly stubborn stain to know. Then the bells tinkle, the door whooshes open, and he looks up, ready to welcome the next customer--
“Hi again,” Satsuki says, her cheeks pink from cold. “You were right. You do make a good coffee.”
“...hi,” Daiki stutters, blinking. “Thought you said--”
No. She didn’t say anything, shut up, she’s here and that’s enough.
“Said?” She frowns at him, and Daiki shakes his head.
“No, it’s nothing. Black coffee again?”
“Yes, please. 350 yen?”
“Mmm,” Daiki hums in response as he makes the coffee. Instead of going to a table, though, Satsuki puts her elbows on the counter and watches him. It makes him feel weirdly conscious, but he’s made enough black coffees to do it on autopilot.
“One black coffee for the madam,” he says, a bit of the snark he’d had in high school returning to his tone as he places it in front of her. Satsuki hands him the money, and the spot where their fingers touch burns.
“Thanks, Dai-chan.” Today, Daiki notices, her smile is a little more real and her voice is a little less tired and her eyes are a touch brighter.
“No problem,” he says quickly. “See you around?”
“Yeah.” Satsuki’s eyes are warm as she looks at him. Then she’s gone, just as much of a whirlwind as the first time. But now, things are a little different.
Now, it isn’t Sayonara, but Ja ne.
--
The third week rolls around, and Daiki actually volunteers for the morning shift in place of Izuki, who gives him a relieved look. Takao just smirks and giggles. When Satsuki comes in at ten past nine, just like she did the last two times, her coffee’s already waiting.
“Here you go,” Daiki says with a grin.
“Thanks, Dai-chan!”
“Also, my shift ends in an hour if you’re free today.” He says it entirely on impulse and regrets it the second it’s out of his mouth. But Satsuki’s eyes just sparkle, and though they’re dimmer than they used to be, Daiki still finds himself enthralled.
“Oh?” Her lips curve up into the ghost of a mischievous smile, and Daiki aches. “Whatever for, Dai-chan?”
“Just…” Daiki’s cheeks grow hot. “I don’t know. It’s been three years. We should talk. I… I missed you.”
A beat of silence. Two. Three. Then Satsuki nods rapidly, her face paling in the way it always does when she’s taken by surprise.
“I…” Her words come out normal, but there’s a hint of strain that Daiki only hears because he’s known her forever. “I have to finish a paper, but there's not too much left. I can stay here and do it.”
“Great.” Daiki’s proud of the fact that his voice doesn’t waver. “If you need extra coffee, let me know. On the house.” Satsuki grins, a shadow of what she used to be.
“I’ll take you up on that one.”
She turns around, eyes on the table she sat at last time. And as she sweeps off towards it, Daiki swears he heard her whisper, “I missed you too, Dai-chan.”
--
Once they start talking, they don’t stop. There’s so much to catch up on: college (Daiki finished a year ago, Satsuki has a year left), work (Satsuki’s looking at a business degree, while Daiki’s in sports medicine. She’d originally wanted to do law, so that’s surprising), life in general.
Being with Satsuki is easy. It’s something he doesn’t have to think about. She’s the rush of fresh air that enters your lungs after a hard run, something you didn’t know you needed until you didn’t have it anymore. Daiki falls into a practiced rhythm of banter and laughter with her, in and out, in and out, just like breathing.
She shows up on Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday and Thursday too, and Daiki doesn’t know when he starts expecting her to be there by ten past nine, doesn’t know when he starts brewing black coffee and volunteering for morning slots, doesn’t know when he starts waiting for the end of his Sunday shift just to take that one-hour walk with her and chat. Satsuki fills her place in his life as she’s always done, covering the gaping hole she tore in him like she never left.
In some ways, she hasn’t.
Being with Satsuki is easy, but it’s also hard. It’s hard because her eyes are always faraway, her lips are pursed and her brows are drawn with invisible tension. She’s not here even when she is, and it hurts.
Daiki knows it’s stupid to expect her to be the girl she was once. He knows she’s grown up. But growing up shouldn’t come with the amount of pain and… and whatever else it is that she carries on her slender shoulders now. Satsuki was made to live, not just survive. It bothers Daiki more than he’ll ever admit: enough that on one of their Sunday walks, he finally bites the bullet.
“What happened?”
“...happened?” Satsuki tilts her head, adorably confused.
“You…” Daiki flounders for words. “You changed.”
“Dai-chan, I’m not a little girl anymore. You changed too. You’re a lot politer.”
“You’re really gonna make me say it?” Worry takes the place of awkwardness, and Daiki suddenly finds himself… not confident, but ready to confront this. “You know, Satsuki. You’re hurting. What happened to you?”
“Dai-chan…” She sighs, looks away. “Nothing happened. Adults hurt.”
“No, they don’t.” Daiki catches her shoulder and turns her around to face him. “Not… not the way you are. Something happened, didn’t it? Satsuki, please, talk to me.” His voice cracks a little on the last word, but he couldn’t care less about looking bad in front of her. She was around before he ever looked good at all.
“I--” Satsuki’s face crumples, like a chilled tin can that just had hot water poured on it, and there are tiny stars on her eyelashes. “Dai-chan, please, I don’t want to talk about it.”
“No, Satsuki, please. Whoever did this to you, I won’t try to commit homicide,” Daiki says, half a joke in his voice. “Can’t promise I won’t think about it, though.”
“So…” She sounds ragged and hollow. “So you’re going to think about killing me, then. Might as well do it. It’s as much as I deserve.” Daiki’s world slows and stops.
What?
He says as much, spluttering, “Satsuki--wh--”
“That’s why I lost contact,” she says, her wet eyes gazing at something he can’t see. “I… I did stuff in my early years of college that I’m not proud of, Dai-chan. I fucked up so bad… I didn’t switch courses because I wanted to. I flunked out of law and--”
The tears, gathered like diamonds in her eyes, start to fall. Daiki cups her face in his hands and wipes them away with his thumbs as best he can. Satsuki looks up at him, a mess of pain and guilt and anger, and Daiki keeps his expression as open as he can. It’s what she needs right now.
“Go on.” Even he’s surprised at how tender he sounds. “I’m here for you.” Satsuki pulls his hands away from her cheeks and sniffles.
“All of those ‘college vices’, all at once. It’s okay in moderation--you’ve done your fair share of those things, I’m sure,”--and she’s right--but Dai-chan, I overdid it. A party every night, a new someone in my bed when I woke up each morning. I even ended up with an addiction.” More tears, which she wipes at in futility. “I missed you and home and everyone. But I didn’t dare tell you because I was so scared, Dai-chan. I didn’t want you to hate me. When Mom and Dad found out, they cut me off. And I can’t even blame them or anyone else, because--look at me! I barely sleep, I eat too much, I have nightmares every day and I’m doing something I hate more than anything.”
Daiki doesn’t think words will work here, so he just pulls her in, close to his chest. Satsuki sobs and shakes in his embrace, her head against his sternum, crying her heart out.
“Are you disappointed in me, Dai-chan?” Her voice is small, and it comes out broken between sobs. Daiki pauses for a second before shaking his head.
“No. We fuck up sometimes. It’s okay.”
He doesn’t know if it’s the right thing to say, but Satsuki’s arms tighten around him and she stops shaking, so he thinks it just might be.
“It’s okay,” he repeats, stroking her hair. “You’re okay.”
“I’ll be okay?” Satsuki whispers.
“Yeah,” Daiki says, and means it. He doesn’t know where he’ll start with helping her, how things will go, but… “As long as we’re together. Just… stay.”
“I’ll stay.” Satsuki exhales into his shoulder. “I’ll stay, Dai-chan.”
“Then we’ll be okay.”
“We?” The confusion in her tone is palpable, but there’s also a tinge of hope at the very end. Daiki doesn’t say anything, just holds her closer and affirms that hope.
It could be a long road, but that road isn’t too long for them to travel together. Nothing is too much for Daiki and Satsuki, not when they’re together, because they’re Daiki-and-Satsuki again.
And that’s why they’ll be okay.

please I Am Begging You do that 20 questions for OT3s with AoKagaKuro
asdfgggdfhjkk ok here we go! prepare for Length...
Who sleeps in the middle?
Kuroko. he gets cold the easiest and likes to be smushed between his two giant bfs. he’s also often the peacekeeper stopping them from kicking each other and stealing the blankets. they both get their share of his ice cold toes and fingers that way, and he’s such a light sleeper that once they’re in that position neither of them can move for fear of waking him up, but none of them would have it any other way.
Who is the best cuddler?
Kagami. he’s like a giant snuggly teddy bear, gives the very best hugs and is always the big spoon no matter who he’s cuddling with. and he’s okay with that. in fact he loves it, whether he’s holding Kuroko or Aomine or both at once, he loves that he can just wrap around them like an octopus and make them feel safe and loved.
Who gets hurt the most?
Kuroko. Kagami might be the biggest klutz of the three but he also doesn’t bruise easily. meanwhile if Kuroko so much as stubs his toe it turns purple and he’ll be limping for a few days. he’s also the one most likely to get in trouble and get scraped up on purpose, whether he’s skinning his knees trying some new technique he’s not prepared for, or picking a fight and getting decked by someone twice his size, he’s always sporting a new bruise or band-aid and getting chastised by his overprotective bfs who are honestly just as bad... just less likely to show it.
Who acts like the baby?
Aomine. obviously. this guy is an oversized toddler in big boy clothes. he’s always pestering for attention and whines and complains when he doesn’t get his way. he’s a picky eater and can throw actual tantrums if he’s annoyed enough -- and usually the root cause is him not getting enough sleep. he’s also treated like the baby of the family, with both Kagami and Kuroko feeding him and taking care of him, but honestly, neither of them mind it much.
Who teases the others the most?
also Aomine. he’s especially prone to poking and picking at Kagami because he knows just what buttons to press and likes to get him riled up. he can’t seem to resist taunting and provoking him at any given opportunity, and he’s just as quick to tease Kuroko, when he can. the difference is rather than turning red and potentially starting a fight, Kuroko will just coolly sass him right back and move on with his day.
Who proposes?
I’m sorry but I can only see Aomine being the one to propose (or at the very least, being the first one). under the exterior, he’s a useless sappy romantic and would probably either insist on doing things proper, buying a pair of rings and getting down on one knee and all, OR randomly blurting it out during dinner with no planning or preparation or anything. either way, of course they both say yes.
Who is the most protective?
Kuroko. looks are 100% deceiving here, he’s physically the smallest but mentally and emotionally, he’s the toughest of the three and he’ll go to the ends of the earth to defend the people he loves. he would absolutely put himself in danger to protect the others and worries about both of them a lot (sometimes needlessly, but there are times they do need it). Kagami and Aomine both put up a tough act, and follow Kuroko around like his personal bodyguards, but don’t be fooled, he’s the one you need to really watch out for.
Who is the closest to the child? (Whether it be a fur baby, scale baby, or human child.)
either Aomine or Kuroko... probably both equally. they’re very emotionally-driven people who love animals of all shapes and sizes (Kagami would have some trouble if their fur baby happened to be a dog -- and considering Nigou that’s a very likely possibility). both of them would form a strong connection with any baby the group decided to have. that’s not to say Kagami wouldn’t also be close to a child or pet and love them, but he’s just a little bit more distant and guarded than the others and it would definitely take him some time.
Who gives the best advice?
Kuroko. he’s (usually) the only one with a brain cell to speak of, and has a lot of practical knowledge and common sense. he has difficulty separating his emotions from a situation to look at it objectively, so he can be a little biased with what he suggests, but it’s still good advice, just the same.
Who is like a therapist?
Kagami. unlike Kuroko, he doesn’t always know what to say or what to suggest, but he is a good listener, and easy to talk to, so he lets the others vent to him and work through their issues, and often finds himself on the receiving end of a long and cathartic story or rant from one or both of them. he’s also much better at looking at things objectively; nine times out of ten he’ll bluntly point something out that makes the others look at things from a new angle, because it’s so obvious to him as an outsider but they’re too wrapped up to see it.
Who sings B and C to sleep?
Kagami. I hc that he can sing in three different languages (English, Japanese and some Spanish), the others especially like when he sings in English, and he indulges them since he’s probably going to be up the latest anyway. sometimes Kuroko also tries his hand at a lullaby, but he doesn’t have the instant power to knock Aomine out that Kagami does.
Is the relationship healthy?
I mean... is any relationship completely, 100% healthy? as relationships go, they have a very good balance between them and there’s a mutual, three-way respect that they all maintain with each other. they’ve got problems and character flaws, of course, they’re very different people and things aren’t always going to be perfect, but they love each other and are all willing to put in the work when it comes down to it.
Do A and B have a stronger bond with each other? Or do C and B or C and A have a stronger bond? Or are A, B, and C close together [equally]?
they’re all close with each other in different ways. not necessarily equally all around, just... their individual relationships within the greater whole have different strengths and shortcomings. It breaks down something like this:
Kagami and Kuroko are probably the most stable with each other. there’s trust and affection and good communication between them, and they’re on very equal footing. the trouble is, because they usually work together so well, they’re not very good at reconciling when they don’t, and things can build up between them that they don’t acknowledge until their whole balance crumbles.
Aomine and Kagami are in tune with each other in a way that’s almost instinctive, they finish each other’s sentences and seem to always be on the same wavelength. they don’t require much from each other, and have a kind of simple ease in each other’s company, when they aren’t getting in each other’s faces. the downside is they aren’t very good at communicating, and tend to avoid difficult subjects and saying what they really mean.
Aomine and Kuroko have history, are probably the most sappy and romantic with each other, and share an almost indescribably intimate bond built up over years, but they’re also the most likely to argue (not just petty squabbling like Aomine and Kagami, or old-married-couple bickering like Kagami and Kuroko, but actually fight and hurt each other). they’re also terrible about enabling and egging each other on and probably get into the most ridiculous situations because they’re somehow the best and worst combination of personality traits at the same time.
Who can be trusted to be left home alone?
Kagami. he’s the only one. do not leave either of the others home alone they will burn the house down, either accidentally or as a result of getting bored and thinking “I wonder what happens if...” (famous last words).
Who cries the most?
Kuroko, by default. he cries about as much as any normal, healthy person would. Kagami doesn’t cry hardly ever, to the point that it’s a little concerning sometimes, and when he does it’s a Big Deal. Aomine cries every now and then, but doesn’t really feel comfortable doing it in front of other people so he’ll usually try to hide it or hold it in.
Who is the softest?
like... physically, or emotionally? you know what, Kagami for both. he’s a great big softy under the tough exterior, and even though he’s the most physically jacked, he’s got enough meat on his bones to have some nice give and be very comfy to lie on.
Who is the shortest?
Kuroko. ....we been knew.
Who is the tallest?
Aomine. again we been knew; he’ll hold that little 2cm sliver of height he’s got on Kagami over his head until the end of time.
Who likes cuddles the most?
Aomine. he will seek out cuddles every chance he gets, he flops down next to both of the others and nudges them like a cat, or just muscles his way into their space until they have to accommodate him or risk falling off the couch.
Last of all, who sings terribly in the shower?
oh dear god. you know what, I think it’d be really funny if it was Kagami. it’s boggling because he can sing perfectly well, they all know it, but for some reason when he’s alone and using the body wash as a microphone he lets loose and goes completely off-key and it’s awful. the others love it though (even if they’re confused) because it sounds like he’s having fun, at least.

Note
How the GOM would react when noticing that their S/O always forces itself to smile and act cheerful in front of those it loves so as not to worry them, hiding their problems or downplaying them until she can no longer hold it anymore and ends up crying when nobody is seeing her. Thanks in advance and sorry for my English, it is not my native language😅
ah, I like that prompt. don’t worry about your english, it’s great. english isn’t my native language either (・ᴗ・)
Kuroko
“Good work, Tetsu-kun.”
Kuroko took the water bottle you handed, eyeing you closely. It didn’t take long for him to realise that your smile wasn’t as bright as usual.
Of course, he had noticed a long time ago that you were the type of person who would hide their sadness in front of others. This time, however, he was quite concerned. You were usually pretty good at fooling everyone with a fake smile.
“[Name], is something bothering you?”
Smiling up to him, you shook your head. “Nope. Do you want to eat before going home?”
Ah, typical [Name]. Kuroko raised an eyebrow at your attempt of changing the topic. “Are you sure nothing’s bothering you?” He asked again, holding your hand.
He saw hesitation in your eyes and he got the answer he needed. Of course something was wrong. No matter how good you were at hiding it, Kuroko would always notice.
“What’s wrong, [Name]?” His soft voice made you sigh.
“Today is the anniversary of my mother’s death.” You answered, your voice cracking, “I miss her so much.”
Pulling you into a hug, Kuroko felt you starting to sob. Your cries made his heart break, but he knew it was better than having you cry alone, all by yourself - something he had a feeling you did quite often.
“It’s alright to tell me your problems, [Name]. I’ll always be here for you.”
Kise
“[Name]-cchi? Earth to [Name]-cchi?? Is she in?”
Your boyfriend’s voice broke your train of thoughts. Quickly putting out a cheerful façade, you looked at Kise’s worried face and smiled. “Sorry! I was spacing out. Are you done with practice?”
He nodded slowly, “Yeah, since a while ago. [Name]-cchi, are you okay? It’s unlike you to be so spacey.”
You nodded, “I’m okay! Let’s go, then.”
Kise raised an eyebrow, watching you stand up. “You know, [Name]-cchi, you can never fool me with your acting.” He thought for a moment and widened his eyes, “You were.. you were bullied by those girls again, weren’t you?”
He saw your flinch and his expression darkened. A-ha.
Even though Kise may look cheerful and easygoing, he was merciless to those who bothered his girlfriend. Especially because he knew she was too kind to tell them off.
He held both your hands, almost shaking in anger. “Don’t worry, [Name]-cchi. I’ll deal with them. Stop thinking about them, okay?” Honestly, your sadness was making him sad as well.
You let him embrace you and slowly allowed yourself to smile. “I’m fine now, Ryōta-kun. Thank you.”
Kise sighed, still worried about you. Those girls.. they were going to pay for making you so sad. He would make sure of it.
Aomine
It was lunch break and Aomine was about to surprise you by showing up in your classroom. What he didn’t expect was you sitting alone with your head down and eyes red.
You were crying... and he was terrified. You’ve never cried before. Well, never in front of him, at least.
You almost jumped when Aomine slammed the door open. Quickly rubbing the tears away from your eyes, you put on your best cheerful face. It was no use, though. He had already seen you cry.
“[Name], what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” He took big strides towards you and crouched down. His worried expression saddened you more. Now, you were making him worry about you?
“I’m fine, Daiki-kun. Don’t worry about me.” You turned your head away, but he forced you to look at him.
“Stop lying already. I’m a fool for never noticing your ‘oh-I’m-so-happy’ acting. Are you hurt? Did someone bother you? Because if someone made you cry, I swear-”
His frantic words made you smile a bit. Underneath all those cool and indifferent acts, you knew how deeply Aomine cared about you.
“Well, actually.. I got into a fight with my best friend.” You answered him, sighing. “It was a huge fight. I don’t want to lose her.”
It was Aomine’s turn to sigh. He thought that someone had hurt you or something. “Then talk it out with her. Or..” He held your hand, raising an eyebrow, “Do you want me to talk to her for you?”
Blinking your eyes, you quickly shook your head. “No need, I’ll talk to her myself. You’re an idiot, Daiki-kun. She’s just going to be frightened by you.”
He smiled. Well, at least you weren’t frowning anymore.
Midorima
Today, Cancers were unlucky. That was why Midorima made sure to carry his lucky item everywhere he went. He had been on extra guard. What would make him unlucky anyway? Would he trip over something? Fail a test? (Highly unlikely.) Be mugged?
He was also being bothered by one thing, though. He had been looking for you everywhere, but to no avail. All your friends only said that you wanted to get some fresh air before heading home.
He slapped his own forehead. Of course. The rooftop.
Imagine his surprise when he arrived at the rooftop and saw you crouched down, tears streaming down your face.
“[Name], I looked for you everywhere.” He said quietly, “Why are you crying?”
Usually, you were always so cheerful. He wondered how you could always smile so brightly, but now, he finally understood. All of that was an act. You had always been the type to worry about others instead of yourself - he liked you because of that, but it worried him as well.. although he would never admit it.
You quickly blinked your tears back. “Ah, Shin-kun. How did you find me?”
He let out a sigh and sat down next to you. “I asked you why you were crying. Answer me.”
Staring at him, you slowly rested your head on his shoulders. He would usually get flustered when you did that, but he didn’t move an inch. “It’s been a rough week for me. I failed a test, fought with my sister, tripped during P.E..”
Midorima pulled out a pack of tissues and put an arm around your shoulder. “Don’t cry on your own. Share your problems with me, okay?”
You glanced at him and saw his red face. “Thank you, Shin-kun.” Your lips finally formed your first real smile that day. “Do you always carry a pack of tissues everywhere?”
“No, they’re my lucky item. Now I know why today is my unlucky day. Seeing you sad really hurts me.” He looked away, his cheeks reddening when you giggled at his words.
Akashi
Akashi was quietly doing student council duties alone when the door was suddenly slammed. Surprised at the loud voice and angry at having his concentration broken, he was about to tell the person off when he saw you, equally surprised.
“Sei-kun, you’re here.” You stammered. “I thought you were still at class.”
He blinked and was about to answer you when he noticed your odd expression. Narrowing his eyes at your red face and glassy eyes, he quickly put two and two together. “What’s wrong, [Name]?”
You quickly smiled. “Nothing, Sei-kun. Don’t worry, I’m fine.”
How could he not worry? His girlfriend was someone who would hide her problems. No matter how many times he told her to just tell him her problems, she would never comply. Not to mention, she had been acting odd all day. She would usually be so good at hiding her emotions behind that fake smile.
“You know you can’t lie to me. Who is it? The one who made you upset?” He could feel his anger starting to emerge.
You sighed, knowing you had to tell him the truth. “I got into a fight with my father again. He’s driving me nuts.”
Akashi hummed. Your father was his father’s business partner and good friend. They were similar - always demanding their children to be the best in everything they did. How could it not drive anyone nuts?
He quickly walked to you, knowing just how upset you could be after a fight with your father. You were so kind to everyone, always trying to do your best, and that made your father push you more and more.
He wiped a tear from your cheek before hugging you. “You should’ve told me sooner, [Name]. You made me worry all day.”
Melting in his embrace, you let out a tired sigh. You could already feel your sadness drift away. “Just hold me, Sei-kun.”
And that he did.
Murasakibara
Something was amiss. Murasakibara could sense it, but he didn’t know exactly what it was. It had something to do with you, though.
“[Name]-chin, why are you smiling so much?” He casually asked, watching you reading a book, “and why don’t you want to go outside?”
Wincing, you closed your book and looked at him. “Just because?”
Murasakibara eyed you suspiciously. “That smile isn’t a genuine one. [Name]-chin, what’s wrong?”
“Ah?” You were caught off guard by his question, surprised that he would be able to tell the difference between your real smile and your fake one, “Nothing’s wrong.”
“Why is [Name]-chin lying to me?”
Ah, he was so annoyingly perceptive sometimes. You finally told him the truth. “Someone’s been stalking me, Atsushi-kun. It’s scaring me, I can’t sleep at night.” You buried your face in your hands, “I think he found out which school I go to.”
“How long?” Murasakibara’s voice had a tint of annoyance. He hated how you always managed to hide your problems with your cheerful attitude. It made him worry his arse off.
“A couple of days now.”
“You should’ve told me.” He stated angrily, “So that’s why your eyes are puffy. You even have black circles.” He was right. You felt guilty now. Before you had the chance to respond, he patted your head. “It must’ve been scary. [Name]-chin, don’t act so strong. You have me.”
You felt your eyes brimming with tears at his sweet gesture. When you calmed down, he took you by the hand and started to get up.
“Let’s go. I’ll crush that creep.”
Sensing your boyfriend’s murderous intent, you became worried that he might actually do just that.

KnB Fic Recs
Yo, my lovelies! My Sterek rec list is so long, I had to take a break from it, sorry! There's like 400 fics to still rec, but in the meantime I thought I'd go with some KnB recs that I haven't touched in a while. They are all grouped according to the ships, with my favourite KnB ship at last.
On a sidenote, dedicated to @grettalks cuz she's into KnB if I'm not entirely wrong.
⭐ Favourites are marked with stars⭐
***
▶️ Akashi Seijuurou/Furihata Kouki
•  And He Embraced Them All (Because Kouki Is Worth It) : In which Teikou!Akashi switches places with his future self and meets Seirin!Furihata. Time skip AU.
•  Solitary Bliss : Akashi is away on a business trip, leaving Kouki alone and yearning for him, but when he finds comfort in a relic deeply linked to their past, his misery rapidly subsides. Fluffy smutty AkaFuri.
•  The Sun and the Mole Rat : Akashi Seijuurou was like thesun; beautiful, radiant and infinitely unreachable. It was an impossibly stupid thing that someone like him could ever be compared to someone like Furihata Kouki, who was so ordinary in everything, nobody would look at him twice should he walk down the crowded streets.
•  Who Are You? : It starts with an accidental love letter. Then friendship and relationship happen… for quite a while until something inside Akashi snaps and ends it one-sidedly. It’s a lot of hard work to get Furihata’s Akashi back, but it still works out in the end.
•  Anomalies : If there was one thing Kuroko hadn't expected when he ordered Furihata and Akashi to take their children on playdates, it was this.
▶️Aomine Daiki/Kagami Taiga
•  (Look) What You've Done : The one where Aomine is a cop and Kagami is a firefighter.
•  A Kitchen Window Like This ⭐: Kagami and Aomine start a long weekend off on just the right notes.
This is literally one of the sweetest domestic aokaga out there.
•  Cum Here Often? : Kagami’s team win the All Japan Intercollegiate Basketball Championship and they go out to “celebrate”.
•  Dumb Werecats Who Play Basketball : Kagami has a hard enough time being a madararui before his hot rival starts smelling really, really good. Sex Pistols crossover.
Okay,  I'm a sucker for anything even remotely ABO alright?
•  Corners : Mafia!Aomine is out to wipe out Kagami on his boss’ orders. Semi PWP. I suck at summaries, sorry.
•  Firefly Without a Light ⭐: Aomine Daiki is occasionally a shitlord and sometimes he figures that out without needing to be told. Other times, not so much. Porn + emotional rollercoaster.
•  First Time Fit For A King : "Yeah." Kagami rubs the back of his neck awkwardly."I don’t get it though. Why me?"
"Because." Aomine tilts his head up a little, and Kagami doesn’t know if he should feel insulted that Aomine is literally sticking his nose up at him. "You're the only one who has the potential to beat me at basketball. Maybe."
•  Jersey : “Oh my god,” Kagami says, and he’s grinning now, a sleepy, shit-eating grin. “Thisis a thing for you, isn’t it?”  , a.k.a, jersey porn.
•  Overexposed ⭐: AoKaga and taking shots off abs.
•  Packed Like Sardines : Train porn lol 😂 or whatever fucking in a train car is called.
•  playing pick-up ⭐⭐: Aomine comes to visit Kagami in the US except — “Hey, Kagami,” Aomine asks.“You live in Las Vegas, right?”
“What? No,” Kagami replies, readjusting his phone underneath his shoulder.
“Well, I’m in the airport at Las Vegas right now,” Aomine begins, and Kagami doesn’t even want to hear the rest.
•  Rewind > Pause > Play : Kagami threatens to leave when Aomine turns to alcoholism to cope with his career and has given up putting forth an effort in their relationship. Angst with a happy ending.
•  S.A.A : The idea of sitting in a room with a hand full of people discussing how sex makes them feel was not at the top of Kagami Taiga’s to-do list, but when that dark skinned, blue eyed stranger walked into the room, Kagami found himself editing that list and putting that man at the very top.
•  some kind of madness : Aomine picks a fight in a bar trying to protect Satsuki’s virtue (🤣🤣) and Kagami patches him up.
•  Strut : Kagami congratulate Aomine on a very flashy win in his own special way.
•  THE RISE OF ASIA: NBA EDITION ⭐⭐⭐: Aomine and Kagami, through the eyes of an interviewer. A masterpiece, truly. This is one of the very first AoKaga fics I read and I'm still very much in love with it.
•  The Power A Name Can Hold ⭐⭐⭐: Super long soulmate AU full of angst and hurt, but with a happy ending. Absolutely stunning.
•  The Care And Feeding Of ⭐: Halfway through his tenth burger and Aomine’s fourth, listening with only a half an ear towards that bastard’s constant grumble of thought with the occasional hurmph of ingestion thrown in, Kagami realized that he was,in fact, actually dating Aomine Daiki.
An all time favourite full of silliness.
•  The Hot Neighbour : It takes Kagami three weeks to move into his new apartment but only one day to start stalking the incredibly hot salaryman in a suit.
•  the pizza factory ⭐: Aomine gets accepted at the pizza factory where Kagami is a chef. Or so it goes. A very funny, snarky personal favourite.
•  thigh to thigh : Kagami's more experienced than Aomine is; that's not exactly saying much. PWP.
•  Twitter Project : Kagami's social studies class has a new project: Tweet a celebrity of your choice. Aomine has been on the receiving end of some hilariously awkward tweets recently.
➡️ sequel : TakaShin sidestory, very cute with a pinch of AoKaga from before.
•  underneath the cup in a black, marker pen ⭐: Kagami writes letters on styrofoam cups to hardworking salaryman Aomine. Coffee shop AU.
•  Wildcat Blues : In a world where shapeshifters, vampires, wizards and other preternatural beings walk the land, finding everlasting love can be a bitch.
•  Worst Kept Secret : In which Kagami Taiga is a werewolf and nobody is supposed to know. Key point - 'supposed to'.
•  Wrong Number ⭐: Aomine managed to score this busty babe's phone number, but when he texted her, the person who responded was everything but busty.
•  texts from last night ⭐⭐: Kagami gets smashingly drunk and Aomine takes it upon himself to drive him home. Drunk sex ensues.
▶️Kise Ryouta/Kasamatsu Yukio
Okay, so I saved my favourite KnB ship for the last! Have fun!
•  (500) Days of Kise ⭐: Wherein Yukio Kasamatsu's life is a romantic comedy. Office AU and so very cute. Mutual pining. Kinda, if I remember right.
•  The God of Small Things : Kise gets scratched by Kasamatsu's new cat. Cat fluff.
•  flower/s : Kasamatsu comes home from a work related trip, and Kise has something up his sleeve for Senpai’s return.
• KiKasa Week series :
1. he's got the answer it doesn't go away : It figures that the universe won't even give Kasamatsu the luxury of hindsight bias.
Okay. This is like, the best of Yukio that I've seen. Team dynamics and Kise joining Kaijou.
2. what you have tamed : First lesson in being team captain: you don't get a break.Ever.
3. slow down if you want to : It's been a week already, and Kasamatsu still can't let go.
4. in the face of these forces : Wherein Kise only started playing basketball in his third year of middle school, and Kaijou still scouted Teikou's small forward.
•  Perfect Coffee : Kise was a perfect employee– he had a sunny disposition and stunning looks who attracted the customers and he additionally had a real talent for making coffee. So he was a blessing that gods had bestowed upon Kurokocchi and his friend, no matter what they both said.
•  Of French Girls And Pretty Boys ⭐⭐: Kasamatsu takes up art class for extra credit, and Kise is the unfairly attractive figure model. College AU.
•  Narita Ground ⭐⭐⭐: Kise loves riling up Narita Ground's air traffic controller.
This is one of those “if you ship kikasa and haven't read narita ground, then you're living under a rock” kinda fics. I swear by it. Ultimate favourite.
•  KNB TFLN : College AU with multiple pairings besides KiKasa. Smutty.
•  First Impressions : But Kise Ryouta, damn his eyes, is beautiful., OR
Yukio looks over Kise’s profile before he comes to Kaijou.
•  Ten Things Kasamatsu Finds Annoying(ly Endearing) about Kise : Kise always smiles at Kasamatsu when he's finally done with his seemingly-interminable beauty regimen (there is no other word suitable for this) and says, "Thanks for waiting for me, senpai."
•  Fadeaway ⭐: Kasamatsu dodges. "You don't deserve that," he says, setting a slightly faster pace. "Inconsiderate, stupid, no-good first-year aces and their idiotic, inconsiderate, stupid, worrisome actions."
•  KiKasa Week series ⭐⭐⭐:
➡️  ️part 1 : “He's good-looking?” Kise demanded, before he could stop himself with the thought of how unattractive jealousy was.
Okay so this is at the end cuz it's super old and I couldn't find the active link, but nevermind. It's fucking awesome.
➡️  part 2 : Kise peeked at him. "But cute?" he said, trying to recapture the dutiful boyfriend adoration look.
Kasamatsu stared at him. "Now that's just gross," he said.
➡️ part 3 : "You do look kind of like him," said Kasamatsu, since obviously no one else was going to come out and say it.
"I really don't," said Kise, his mouth hilariously turned down.
"Maybe in a few years," said Kasamatsu. "You'll grow into it."
More to come! Stay tuned!♥️
Do tell me if any of the links don't open or are faulty, etc.

Fools
AkaKuro Day 3 (April 13) - Target | Intuition | Yonder Quote: “I’m not leaving you behind.”
This time I’m posting late for a different reason. That reason being, I got carried away. So I had to smudge the end to make it on time. TBH idk what happened here.
Enjoy some tragic prince/knight AU.
“Protect the Prince!”
“The assassins have back up, get ready!”
“Shit, where did these bastards come from?!”
Loud, louder, louder, the screaming got, echoing throughout the castle's stone walls as the fighting went on. Shortly thereafter, all the sudden, it was quiet. The crickets outside were no longer chirping like they were just hours before. Instead, the sound of  footsteps running around outside the door was somewhat more chilling than the the sounds of clashing weapons.
How far away were they?
How close?
It was only a matter a time, and they would soon be found.
Here in the farthest reaches of the castle, is where they hid. It was a special room. One that meant a stronger meaning to them than the royal crest does to the royal family. It sounds doubtful but it was true. They would know, since, after all, Akashi was the prince.
He was the prince of kingdom ruled under a oppressive monarchy led by his controlling father. The two were on bad terms, as Akashi wanted to find a way to break their people free and let them live better lives whilst the king merely sunk into the greed and power his position offered. Naturally, their people hated the royal family, especially the king, as a result. Now, as a repercussions of the royal family's actions, a rebellion was underway. A revolt to end the monarchy.
Their only choice now was to hide, and what place better than their secret room. Well, the location wasn't a secret, but more of what happened inside.
The place where they first met and the place their relationship changed forever.
They couldn't let anyone find out. It'd bring shame to the family. No one could ever know that the prince and his knight were lovers.
Kuroko suddenly found himself being pressed against the prince's chest, the man holding almost too tightly. He wiggled in his grasp and allowed himself to gain some air, though the grip barely let up.
He shot an irritated glare toward Akashi, his voice reaching the lowest of whispers, “Akashi-sama, I'm supposed to be guarding you. Not the other way around. Please let me do my job.”
What surprised him was the distressed expression on his beloved’s beloved’s face. Akashi was notorious for keeping his cool. Given the situation, Kuroko could hardly judge him, but the fact that this one expression hasn't changed since the start of the rebellion meant something.
“Forgive me, Tetsuya,” he apologized, letting Kuroko out of his arms but kept a hand intertwined with the other’s. “I just fear that if I let go, then…”
“Don't think like thatー”
Kuroko ended up cutting himself off when his eyes found their way of a red stain spreading on Akashi's side, just above his waist. It was large and smelled of iron. Akashi was bleeding, and by appearances, it could very well be fatal. All in all, whether they successfully stay hidden til the end or are found, it's likely that the prince will die.
“Akashi-sama, we must get you help immediately!”
Before Kuroko could get very far, Akashi used their entwined hands to pull him back. His other hand applied pressure to his aching wound; he body shaking to stay up before succumbing to pain, legs collapsing and bring him to the floor.
Quickly, the knight knelt down to reach eye level with Akashi, worry reflecting in his blue orbs. “Don’t overwork yourself, Akashi-sama.”
“Today, Tetsuya, don’t call me that,” the prince replied, voice weak. “Just for today, call me by name.”
“.....Sei...jūrō…”
A soft yet wistful smile crossed Akashi’s lips. “I love you so much, Tetsuya. You have always supported my decisions to try to fix my family's wrongs.”
Sudden shouting and knocking outside the door added to the tension in the air.
“What are you saying!?”
Voices yelled out directions as objects began ramming the door.
“You are the one that made me want to become a better person. You're the reason I could take anything my father threw at me. I love you.”
“Seijūrō, stop!”
“Hush now, Tetsuya, you'll lead them right toward us.”
“But-!”
“Listen, I'm their target,” Akashi said, interrupting his lover. “Tetsuya, leave while you can.”
“I can’t do that.” There was no way he was going to escape on his own. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he let Akashi suffer at the hands of an angry mob...alone. Besides a knight stays loyal to their word. “I love you, Seijūrō.”
“You're a fool, Tetsuya.”
“I know. However, didn't I promise you that I wouldn't leave you behind?”
The prince managed out a shakey laugh, reaching over to kiss his beloved one final time.
“We’re both fools.”
The door is finally broken open.
Five times now, Kuroko has seen this same boy lounging in this room, reading one of the many books that were scattered around the room, no more space on the overflowing bookshelves. He was there nearly everyday and everyday he was reading a new book.
He had once taken an interest in what the the other was reading and discovered they were far more advanced than what someone around twelve years old would normally be reading. Just who was this boy?
Today as well he went to take a peek, cracking open a rather fancy looking book that the boy had read the other day. However this time, he got caught.
“You there, who are you? You're not allowed in here.”
Turning around, blue eyes met with red ones for the first time. For whatever reason, the boy didn't say thing after that, making Kuroko wonder if he was straight up repulsive to this other kid. He was the son of a simple maid, after all.
To his shock the exact opposite happened.
“Do you like books?”
“Y...yes.” Not that his reading skills were all that great.
“I'll teach you how to read, if in return, you sneak me into town.”
This aristocrat looking boy knew who he was after all.
And he kept his promise, years later they had successfully snuck out and back when they were sixteen. By this time they learned a great deal about each other, the kingdom, and of course their status. Their friendship would be forcibly broken by the king if he were to ever find out, thus turning the old stashed away library room into their special place.
Every time they met there, Kuroko could see the prince growing as a person. He was cold and isolated himself at the start, but has softened over the years. His eyes would never leave the prince's form whenever they snuck out after the first time. He was entranced by Akashi as he danced with the commoners whilst in disguise. It was a strange but beautiful sight.
The way he saw Akashi changed after that, which the prince easily tricked him into admitting one night.
That was the start of it all.
It was the night of Akashi’s 18th birthday and they managed to sneak away from the never ending dinner party the king hosted for his son. They went straight for their special room. Finally some they spilled into laughter,  each sharing the funny moments they experienced that night. They only wished that they could have experienced it together.
Akashi fell quiet after awhile. The stories coming to an end, and Kuroko could feel the prince's gaze on him. He nervously tried to turn his attention to the garden just out the window.
A hand prevented that.
Akashi’s hand.
It felt warm against his cheek in comparison to the cool air that drifted in from the open window. It also forced him to met his prince’s eyes.
“Ryouta said something interesting this morning.”
Of course Kise was to blame.
“He said that you're in love with me.”
Kuroko never felt his cheeks warm up so fast, casting his gaze in another direction. “I don't know what you're talking about. Kise-sama was mistaken.”
“He said he heard it from you.”
Curse Kise’s ability to be both a great and horrible confidant. Curse Akashi’s straightforwardness.
Frowning, Kuroko pulled away, nearly slapped the prince's hand back in turn. “So what of it? Yes I love you. My best friend and the prince. Ironic isn't it? Do you hate me now? You have a fiancé anyー”
For the first time, Kuroko found himself speechless as his sentence was cut off by soft lips pressing against his own. Several minutes had to have passed before he really registered what had just occurred.
“Akashi-sama, what are you doing! Someone could have seen that!”
The prince waved away the concern with a laugh. “We’re safe here, besides I just couldn't hold back. I've always been hoping to hear those words from you.”
“What? There's no way. You have a fiancé.”
“Broke it off.”
“Your dadー”
“Doesn't matter.”
“I'm just a servant, Akashi-sama, andー”
“Tetsuya, become my knight. My personal bodyguard.”
“What?”
“Daiki will train you.” The tone he spoke in prevented any room for arguing.
“Aomine-kun knew about this?”
“He is the one that informed me that you planned on leaving with your parents when the resign in a week. Why didn't you tell me?”
The pained expression in Akashi's eyes right now was exactly why. That and because Kuroko never dreamed that the prince would ever share his feelings.
“Forgive me, Akashi-sama.”
“You can make it up to me,” he began, bringing the back of the servant’s hand to his lips, “by becoming my knight so you never have to leave my side.”
Pink colored Kuroko’s cheeks.
Akashi leaned his further until they were merely inches apart. “Promise me that you will never leave me behind.”
Nodding, he slipped a hand into those red locks and pulled the prince closer, sealing the deal.
They would never have predicted that this where they first met, and eventually had their first kiss, would also be where they'd meet their end.

GOM + Kagami being there for You
This is something I really need and I hope you will like it.
Kuroko Tetsuya
‘‘I’m sure she didn’t mean it.’’ He stated in a serious voice, gently massaging your back with his left hand.
‘‘Oh she did, she meant it. She had spat these words with such venom that I almost died there.’’ You sobbed into his arm, getting more hysterical as the seconds passed by. ‘‘We don’t even see each other that much. What can’t she be a little nicer?’‘
‘‘S/o-’‘ Kuroko called your name and your head immediately perked to look at him in the eyes.’‘-your mother has been alone for a very long time, she doesn’t know how to deal with her almost adult daughter. I’m not trying to excuse her behaviour, because what she did was plainly wrong, I’m just trying to show you that her words don’t describe who you are at all. It’s just some nonsense she says to make herself feel better.’‘ He stroked your head affectionately at which your heart melted, leaving behind the heaviness you carried after meeting your mum earlier that day. ‘‘It’s not good, but you can’t change it. There’s no need to cry over it, when you have so many people thinking you are amazing. Including me, of course.’’ Your boyfriend pecked your lips and your foreheads touched, staying still.
‘‘Wow Tetsu, I wasn’t aware you could talk so much.’‘ You laughed, earning unamused glare from him and a light punch in the gut.
‘‘You are an ungrateful brat sometimes, I swear.’‘
Tumblr media
Kagami Taiga
‘‘Taiga, the light of my life, you don’t have to stay here with me and rot, you know?’‘
‘‘Please, you would die without me here.’‘ And with that he put the thermometer in your mouth, making you unable to speak, however, when he finally took it out, you started arguing once again.
‘’I’m really okay, you didn’t have to leave practice for me. It’s very unprofessional.’’ He raised an eyebrow at you, not taking your stupid excuses for a reason to just get up and go home. You both stared at each other for what felt like a minute, before you eventually gave up. ‘’And I feel like I’m using you, okay - you got me.’’ You rolled your eyes and rolled onto your other side to avoid his shocked expression. It’s not like you didn’t want him to be here, it’s just that he could do so many funnier things right now, which didn’t contain cleaning someone’s house and jumping around a person who can barely lift a finger.
‘’You are sick - me taking care of you has nothing to do with using anybody. I’m doing what I want and this is what I want. Now face me, because it’s time for your pills.’’ You groaned loudly at his statement and he laughed upon seeing your pouting face. ‘’See? It wasn’t so hard.’’ He praised after you swallowed the medicine and chuckled once again when you shot him a very nasty glare. ‘’Now I’m going to make some dinner and we can watch a movie or something.’’
Your redhead boyfriend got up and started walking towards the kitchen, when you tiredly moved to catch his sleeve in your fingers. He turned to you quickly, asking if something was wrong and you just shook your head.
‘‘Everything is fine, it’s just --- thank you Taiga, seriously.’‘ You didn’t dare to watch his reaction, but somewhere deep inside you knew, he was very happy right then.
‘‘You are welcome, s/o.’‘
Tumblr media
Aomine Daiki
‘‘Okay, what the fuck did he do again?’‘
‘‘Nothing really.’’ You replied, wiping already cold tears with the sleeve of your blouse from your cheeks. ‘‘It was my fault, anyway.’‘
‘‘Your fault?’‘ He questioned angrily, swallowing all the frustration he had in him. He didn’t want you to experience someone’s anger once again. ‘‘Him being a jealous prick for no reason is your fault? Don’t make me laugh.’‘ You flinched at his harsh words, and he immediately regretted uttering them. So much for making you feel better.
‘‘I shouldn’t have met up with your team behind his back - I just really wanted to see you! But you know how he is.’‘ You cried once more, cringing at how pathetic you must have looked right now.
‘‘Yeah, I know that he goes around flirting with everything that moves and you can’t even hang out with your friends. That’s ridiculous.’‘ His brain started creating very vivid images of him killing your boyfriend in many interesting ways, but then the realisation of the meaning of his words hit him. You weren’t aware of his disloyalty towards you and he didn’t mean to just scream this information at you. His eyes went back to yours and he noticed how they shined with fresh tears in them. He wanted to call it a very beautiful sight, but it wasn’t the time nor the place for it. ‘‘Shit, I’m sorry - I didn’t mea--’’
‘‘It’s okay Daiki, I suspected something, I just needed a valid proof. Although, I have been thinking about breaking up with him anyway, he was slowly getting violent and it’s not something I want to be around any longer.’‘ Your body was trembling a little, but the real war was happening inside Aomine’s mind, who, upon hearing that some low life wanted to harm you, was ready to slaughter the guy’s entire family just to make you safe. ‘‘Thank you, I realyy appreciate your support.’‘
‘‘Everything for you, s/o.’‘ It really wasn’t a good time for his confession, but once you healed, he would make you the happiest person in the world.
Tumblr media
Kise Ryouta
‘‘S/o-chi, you look very out of character, did something happen?’‘ His question didn’t particularly surprised you, because you seriously looked different than usual. That day was relatively hot, enough to wear some shorts along with a short-sleeved shirt, but you against your normal outfit decided to wear a hoodie with trousers. Even your mood was worse than ever, your grumpy face only confirmed it.
Kise was extremely worried about you and was scared that someone may have done bad things to you. He was intensively staring at your blank face, awaiting an answer that took too long to form in your mind and you were just observing him with saddened eyes. ‘’Will you tell me s/o-cchi?’’
You sighed, suddenly wearing an expression of discomfort, which twisted into embarrassement very quickly. ‘’Ryouta, do I look fat to you?’’ This question came out as a whisper, but he heard it almost too correctly. Millions of imagines started haunting his memory, especially the ones with him constantly worrying about his weight as a model and an athlete.
‘‘No, s/o-cchi. Did someone tell you that?’‘ He asked, concerned and ready to fight.
‘‘Not exactly.’’ You stopped your words from flowing out of your mouth to take a deep, relaxing breath. ‘‘I just overheard some of my classmates conversation and, you know, they weren’t saying nice things about me. That’s it. Not a big deal.’‘ You dismissed your problem, obviously trying to drop the topic, but Kise was having none of it.
‘‘It is a big deal, because their words affect you and they shouldn’t. Look at me, I’m a model and people still mock me behind my back and say really disgusting things. The society will never be happy and it’s their loss. You don’t need to live like them and waste your life on hatred. Be happy, show  them who is the boss.’‘ Both of his hands were on your shoulders as you looked at yourselves. He was clearly determined and you just speechless. And then in the simple blink of the eye you burst into tears, asking him to go home with you so you could change into something more comfortable.
‘‘Sure, lovely. Maybe we could hit a beach on the weekend, what do you think?’‘
‘‘Gladly.’‘ You aswered with no hint of saddnes on your flushed face.
Tumblr media
Midorima Shintarou
Midorima wasn’t subtle, but easy-going. If he didn’t think his head would explode, he would ask you what’s wrong a long time ago. However, your moping was getting slightly worse with each day and it made him think that the situation was more serious than he previously predicted. He tried to talk to you about it for hours, but once he bit his tongue, the second time he almost walked into the wall and basically - he was scared for his life. But he also loved you dearly, so there was no going back this time. He would do it, he really would.
‘‘What’s wrong with you? You looked like somebody had died, nanodayo.’‘ At least he asked, okay? No one was talking about being nice and shit.
‘‘Nice as always Shin.’‘ You laughed, without a humour and came back to doing your math homework.
‘‘I didn’t mean it like that. I just---worry.’‘ The last part was uttered so quickly and quietly as if he didn’t want you to hear it at all, but you did and it shocked you.
‘’Mn --- it’s nothing, really. I think I’m just being paranoid and all.’’ You smiled tiredly, putting your pen down and he turned his face to you, to listen to your confession even better. ‘‘My parents are behaving kinda weird, something’s going on and all I’ve been thinking about it is them getting divorced. I know it’s not my choice, but theirs, however, it makes me anxious. Sorry, if it’s annoying.’‘ He focused on your words, processing them and trying to create a perfect response, which would be honest, but also helpful.
‘‘I know it may be scary now, but I swear that even it they separate their ways, they would still love you the same.’‘ He grasped your fingers lightly in his, face going red. ‘‘As I do, nanodayo.’‘
You looked up at his words, blushing almost as much as him. ‘’I love you, too Shin. Thank you.’’
‘‘It’s nothing, nanodayo.’‘ He replied and pushed his glasses a liittle higher on his nose. His hand never leaving yours.
Tumblr media
Akashi Seijurou
‘‘Ugh, I’m so frustrated Seijurou, I don’t think I can keep this up.’‘ You said at the verge of the tears, pushing math book away from your body. Akashi looked blankly at you, not knowinng how to motivate you to stay focused for a little more time.
‘‘Let’s try again, I will explain better, alright?’‘ He caressed your cheek, desperately trying to stop you from crying. It was the last thing he wanted to see you doing. Even though, he didn’t show it that much he really wanted you to be content. He was clever and on top of the class, but he could admit that math could be really hard. He knew that it was your worst subject and seeing you try so much and then failing was heartbreaking. So he decided to fight with you, teaching you every chance he got. You praised him for it all the time, despite his scary appearance he was really patient with you. You couldn’t help, but love him more for it.
‘‘Okay, okay, but it’s so terrible. I feel like the worst person on the Earth! How did I even get to Rakuzan? I’m the dumbest person I know!’‘ You cried, your words slightly muffled by your palm. Akashi couldn’t see your eyes, but he knew they were probably red with a dark bags under them. You were really hard-working, hee admired it in you.
‘‘You are not dumb, you just need a little practice, love. Nobody was born a genius.’‘
‘‘You were.’‘
‘‘I was not, I was just pushed into being the best. I’m glad that you weren’t.’‘ He stated, giving you the most lovestruck look he could pull out, just because you couldn’t see it. It may sound stupid, but he was scared you would find out how important you were to him. How you mattered.
‘‘I’m sorry Sei, I didn’t mean to bring up bad memories.’‘ You replied guiltily, throwing your arms over his neck in an attempt to hug him. It came out a little messy, but he appreciated it anyway.
‘‘I’m not angry, but you can still repay me by not giving up, okay?’‘ You sniffed, but didn’t dare to protest and opened a book once again. ‘’If you promise me that you will work hard I can give you a very pleasurable reward later, huh?’’ He whispered huskily in your ear, making you red all over your face as you nodded like a crazy.
Maybe he could motivate you.
Tumblr media
Murasakibara Atsushi
‘‘Why are you crying, s/o-chin?’‘
‘‘Oh Atsushi, I didn’t hear you coming.’‘ You replied, smilling through your tears. Trying to hide the fact that you were obviously upset.
‘‘Why are you crying?’‘ He asked as if he didn’t hear your previous statement, not liking being ignored.
‘‘No reason, seriously.’‘ You asnwered this time, but it only left his unsatisfied, wanting to know more.
‘‘That’s a lie, s/o-chin. Talk to me.’‘ He whined like a child and sat next to you on the floor, in front of the window, which showed you empty streets and a clear, blue sky, which perfectly imitated how you were feeling. Empty.
‘‘Sometimes people are sad, just like that, there’s no real reason, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not important. I just feel a little down today, you can leave if you want. I don’t want to burden you.’‘ You knew your boyfriend very well. He was bright and could be very clever when he wanted to, but there were things he just wasn’t aware of and simply didn’t care.
‘‘You don’t burden me. I want to stay and make you feel better somehow.’‘ Murasakibara replied, his body a little closer to yours, so you could smell his candy scent, which was more comforting that you could ever imagine.
‘‘It’s not that easy, Atsu.’‘ Your sudden and quiet laugh, sounded more depressing than you wanted it to, but it was just so hard to be happy, when everything just felt so wrong.
‘‘Okay, but let me stay, alright? We can just be here for each other, do nothing and cuddle.’‘ He stated and immediately enveloped you in his long arms after seeing you nod to his proposition. ‘‘I will stay here until you are happy again - and if you never are, I will still be here.’‘ He kissed the skin of your neck, squeezing you tightly in his embrace, shielding you from the world. And in that exact moment you knew that eventually, everything will be just fine.

Could you write some headcannons about GOM in a Disney movie? Like, who'd be the protagonist, who'd be the frumpy sidekick, etc?
mori: LMAO THIS IS SO CUTE!!! let’s assume that the reader is a commoner protagonist and this all happens in one universe/reality. i didn’t have the heart to make any of them the enemy!! i hope this was ok…!
akashi seijuro | the prince from another village
Akashi is the prince of a neighboring kingdom that has come to steal your heart so that the two kingdoms can form an alliance
At first he assumes that you are some damsel that’s waiting to be wed to a rich prince like him, but he couldn’t be more wrong. Growing up as a commoner has taught you to be humble and independent, so you definitely didn’t need any “saving”, but it would take Akashi more than just having basic human integrity to convince him that you didn’t need to be saved
Akashi would be the type of prince to shower you in luxurious gifts that any protagonist would want for the riches or any woman that would fall for his charm. He’ll be very showy about it, making sure the whole village knows
His whole get-up is having a trusty, sassy white horse named Mayuzumi and a big velvety red cape with golden pins. He also has his family crest sewed onto all his belongings
When you somehow get some alone time with Prince Akashi (he probably tricked you into it in the garden, since everything happens in the garden), you learn that there’s more than what meets the eye. He has a persona that everyone in the village knows, but really, it’s just a front to impress his father, the King. You learn that he hates how things are run between the Kingdoms and he aims to change that, but he can’t until he gets married. You’re not sure if you want to be that person that determines it all, but you appreciate the thought, and who knows, maybe in time you will be. You’re just glad that Akashi has an ulterior motive that isn’t so superficial
aomine daiki | the thief/the adventurer
You probably don’t want to get mixed up with Aomine’s business - he’s a thief, but don’t mistake him for someone who’s dumb. In fact, he does a lot of his business face-to-face, and you’d never know he stole from you, because he has a little helper - a mischievous red panda named Kagami
He’ll either have Kagami distract the target with his cuteness while Aomine does the stealing or the other way around. The former works more than the latter, although both have very little fail rates to begin with
The only reason you know about Aomine is because, well, he’s one of your only friends! When you got your favorite toy stolen when you were little, Aomine was the one who help you get it back, while stealing some other things, too. While Aomine makes sure no one steals or takes advantage of you, you give him and Kagami meals and a place to stay if they needed it (although they always preferred to sleep under the stars - unless it was raining)
If there were stats for Disney characters, Aomine’s sneak and speech would be a solid ten, lock picking a seven (he’s broken into your house a few times), and speed a nine, with a healthy dose of hp
Whenever he hears rumors of lost treasures or pirates that have docked in town, he often drags you into the mess. You always agree because, well, what else is there to do in town? You’ve snagged some gold for yourself here and there, but there’s a price to pay for the riches. You can’t count on your two hands how many times you’ve almost died on your adventures with Aomine, although he insists you’re overreacting. Truth be told, the only real danger you’ve ever been in was almost getting turned to stone. Twice
kise ryouta | the greedy, childish king
King Kise is the powerful and youngest King of your village. His family has a long history of infamy. They have casted war between other Kingdoms, stolen from the poor so that the rich can thrive, and depleted many of the village’s resources for themselves and their extravagant parties. Kise Ryouta is no different
He is a King trying not wed any time soon because that means he’ll have to share with his Queen. Although he does want an heir, he doesn’t want one until absolutely necessary, afraid that his child will become too powerful and overthrow his title too soon
When your family wanted to save the town sorcerer, the Kises wanted to eliminate him. Only the Kise family could be the most powerful and a sorcerer meant that he was a threat to the Kise title. Ever since then, your family and the Royal family have been in a never-ending feud, but he’s aiming to break that. The minute he saw you, he pledged to himself that he would make you his wife
You try to stay away from Kise because you don’t agree with his ways, although you appreciate that he wants to end the family feud. other than that, you want nothing to do with someone so cocky and full of himself. To be honest, he’s the Gaston of the village
Whenever you reject him, he’ll stomp back to the castle and demand the impossible, like buying out all the eggs in the village. No one in the castle has the balls to keep him in line, so his advisor and right hand Kasamatsu has to keep him in his place
kuroko tetsuya | the shape-shifting sidekick
Kuroko’s favorite form is a small husky puppy that you’ve had ever since you were born. He is able to turn into almost any animal in time of need, although his most common forms other than a husky are a wolf, horse, and snake
You two are inseparable. You either leave each other’s side when you go to the bathroom or when one of you is sick. Other than that, you two eat together, sleep together, and go on adventures together. He’s saved your ass and Aomine’s ass as many times as you can count when you’ve almost died
The story of Kuroko is that the town sorcerer found him abandoned in a forest while harvesting some herbs. Because the sorcerer did not want to raise a child on his own, he enchanted Kuroko into a small puppy who wouldn’t be able to unlock his shape-shifting abilities until he was a little older. As a gift to repay some of his debt, he gave Kuroko to you so that he can grow up with you and protect you
It might sound odd, but Kuroko could not thank the sorcerer enough. If it wasn’t for him, Kuroko would have been dead, and even if he was locked in a spell, he’s forever grateful to the sorcerer that he at least spent his youth with you
At the age of 18, the spell will become undone, in which Kuroko will turn back into a human. Now that you two will no longer need each other’s protection, you are both free to live your own lives. In all honesty, Kuroko fears when this day will come, because he thinks you’ll never trust either him or the sorcerer ever again. What he also fears the most is that he might have fallen in love with you throughout your 18 years together
midorima shintarou | the diviner & the healer
Midorima’s divination abilities aren’t super strong that he goes crazy with his visions and all. It’s more of like a cloudy ability - he can predict possible outcomes but depending on how the person asking interprets the information, the outcome can change. His disclaimer before giving predictions is always that the future is never set in stone
Although he’s humble when giving his disclaimers and explaining the extent of his ability, he’s almost always right either way
Whenever you, Aomine, and Kuroko get into trouble and hurt yourselves, Midorima often scolds you both because he “saw it coming” and that he “could have told you to be more careful around that time”. You get a lot of “I told you sos” and he’s like the naggy aunt you’ve never had
There are some things that healing potions can’t fix, so that’s when Midorima comes into the picture. While potions uses a more natural approach to healing, Midorima solely uses his magic, though it comes at a cost. Every time he heals, a fraction of his life is taken away. He says that’s what the stars predicted for him, so he’s come to terms with knowing he’s going to live half as old as his comrades. He’ll try to not use his healing powers too much. He’ll work with the sorcerer to see if there are any potions that can do some of the work for him so that he doesn’t use too much magic
Has a familiar that’s a black cat named Takao
murasakibara atsushi | the sorcerer
Too lazy to do anything on his own, so he uses magic literally like all the time. He’s not afraid to hide it, either. When he was younger, the villagers had almost burned him at the stake, but when they realized he wasn’t looking to fight and that he could be of use in case of war, they let him stay. It’s amazing how he’s lived this long (100+ years) to be quite honest
As a sorcerer, he also makes potions. He’ll make all types of healing potions, poisonous potions (within reason), and strengthen potions, but never love potions. He doesn’t care how much gold he’s offered or how many threats he’ll receive, he’ll just enchant them to kill each other if they annoy him too much. He’s known to be brutal….
You’ll go to Murasakibara when you or anyone you care about is sick or if he needs the company. He doesn’t have many friends because he doesn’t really make an effort to make any and you’re the only one that doesn’t annoy him. He is also in debt to you and your family, who has saved him from being burned at the stake a few times. He thinks of you as his child some times, but don’t dare tease him about it or you might wake up vomiting hairballs
On your voyages or trips with Kuroko and/or Aomine, you always visit him to stock up on essentials. He’ll give you the extra strong stuff because it’s his way of telling you to be careful and come back safely, although he’ll never admit it
In return for all the potions and herbs, you offer him food and he gladly accepts. Even though he could probably enchant someone to do it for him, he can only enhance their skills so much, and their cooking never turns out as good as yours, anyways

The Empress and Her Knight 4
She just couldn’t believe it.
How did this happen?
Kagami Taiga could only stare at the tanned male in front of her as he sneered down at her, his deep blue eyes only showing off his arrogance over the won game.  She could barely hear what was going on around her, like she was submerged underwater, everything was a murmur over the rush of the waves that dragged her under.
“I’ll have to hand it to you guys,” Aomine sneered mockingly at her, “You did give me a small jolt from those passes that shorty can do, but other than that you guys are just a waste of time.”
Anger surged through her then.  Anger at Kuroko for not giving her enough information to deal with the likes of him.  Anger at Aomine for being such a bastard to rub her utter defeat in her face.  Her team for being completely useless when it came down to it.
Kagami rose form her position on the floor, her fist balled at her side, and almost took a step towards the arrogant ass that was her opponent.  She was thankfully stopped by a comforting hand on her shoulder that held her in place, keeping her from being completely disgraced in the eyes of the public.
Looking over her shoulder she saw that Hyuuga was the one that stopped her, a stern look in his eye had her swallowing any words that made it to her tongue.  He looked in Aomine’s direction and gave a tight smile at the taller male.
“That was a great game Aomine.” Hyuuga nodded his head to the other, “Hopefully we can have another some time in the future.”
Aomine scoffed at him but narrowed his eyes and the hand that was on the red head’s shoulder.  Irritation crawled through his chest at the placement, figuring that it was anger at having a nice fight having been delayed.
“Maybe next time you will have a decent player on your team and not this reject.” he smirked when he saw the anger light like a fire inside those deep red eyes, this was just too much fun!
“I wouldn’t count this as a complete show of our arsenal,” Hyuuga forced himself not to put the taller boy in his place, “I would be ready for any future matches if I were you.”
“I doubt anyone can match up to me,” Aomine scoffed at his confidence, “the only one who can beat me is me!”
Hyuuga only shook his head and quickly lead Kagami to the rest of the team where they would do the customary bow before heading off to the locker room.
Locker Room:
The slam of the locker door was heard throughout the hallway causing many people to flinch at the anger behind it.  Aida Riko couldn’t think of anything to say to their Ace player as she stomped around the room, cursing Aomine and Too alike.
She looked helplessly over at Kuroko and was shocked to find the blue haired girl calmly packing her bag while completely ignoring her teammates.
Or not as baby blue eyes looked in her direction and Riko saw the message loud and clear, let Kuroko handle this.
Kagami was so embroiled in her anger that she didn’t notice when almost all of her teammates tiptoed out of the locker room, or the squeak that Koganei let out when he tripped over his unlaced shoestrings, leaving her alone with her petite teammate.
“You are angry.” the words settled in the are like jagged ice, ready to sliced into anyone that was caught in their path.
Kagami scowled and turned to Kuroko, snarling when she saw that smaller girl was sitting on a chair as though it were a throne, “You bet your ass I’m angry!”
Kuroko, much to Kagami’s irritation, just watch her as though she were waiting for a child to get over a tantrum.  This caused an outflow of thoughts that she was helpless to stop even if she wanted to.
“Don’t sit there with that higher-than-thou look on your damn face!” the words echoed all around the two, “You never told us, never gave an indication, that it was going to turn out like this!”
“Oh, turn out like what?” Kuroko’s head tilted slightly, a picture of pure innocence.
“Don’t you pull that fucking innocent act with me Kuroko!” Kagami roared as she slammed her bag on the nearest bench, “You knew how strong these guys were, knew what they were capable of but didn’t ever tell us that they could wipe the floor with us in only a few minutes!”
The room range silent after that, Kuroko only looking at Kagami while the red head caught her breath, “Are you done?”
Scowling, Kagami could only nod as she began to pace the locker room, she needed to get her anger out before she snapped at anyone else.  Kuroko only continued to watch her, knowing that Kagami would not listen to anything else until her head cleared a bit more.  Finally the taller girl sat down and took a deep breath before she look over at her friend.
“First of all,” Kuroko’s toneless voice was cold, causing Kagami to flinch slightly, “never assume that I would withhold information from you or anyone on the team.”
“Second of all, the players that I knew once have grown since I last saw them,” Kuroko continued to stare down the other, “I gave everyone, especially you, ample warning as to how powerful they were and how they would grow.”
She got up from her chair and walked closer to Kagami, her knight in a mission to save five hearts from the darkness, “You may see this as a defeat Kagami-san but I see it differently.”
Kagami looked up questioningly and watched in awe as Kuroko’s usually dull blue eyes lit up, as though today’s defeat was something to be celebrated rather than mourned, “We have a better understanding of Aomine-kun’s abilities and we can train much more successfully in order to defeat him.”
Her eyes hardened as she looked glared at the other, “Though in all things seen today Kagami-san, you were the one who forgot the most important lesson ever learned by all of us that play this sport.”
Kagami felt dread fill her chest at the look Kuroko was giving her, a heavy guilt that came with disappointing someone she cared for greatly, and waited for her to continue.
“You forgot that you are not the only one playing on that court!” Kuroko finally said, “You are not alone in the fight for victory, maybe we had too much confidence in you ability and let you believe that you could do it by yourself and that is something I will not repeat, but it is you who must remember to rely on your teammates in order for you to push through to victory!”
Kagami was struck by the small speech but understood why she was being chastised.  She saw how powerful Aomine was, his ability to take over the court so quickly and move like water around the other players, it left her feeling inadequate and push her to her breaking point.
Kuroko nodded as she saw her words sinking into her friend’s head, she understood perfectly the feelings that were running rampant in her mind as she herself felt that defeat echo throughout her body.  She couldn’t let the situation impact her plans or the confidence that her team has in her.
A loud growl echoed through the room causing Kuroko to blink in surprise before looking at Kagami, who had gone red in the face.
“Um, maybe we should go and see if coach can let us get something to eat?” Kagami asked with an embarrassed grin as Kuroko just gave her a small smile and a nod.  They retrieved their bags and went to join their other teammates.
At a later time:
“So you failed to deliver what you promised I see,” a smooth voiced cut through the noisy crowd as she watched the game below.
“Do you see it as such?” she hummed, “I wonder.”
“You fell into defeat this time and you will continue to do so in the future,” the voice hardened, “I have said as much and so it shall be.”
“You are quick to decide the future when we all know it is not set in stone,” her voice only just heard over the din, “It can be rewritten and influenced to turn in a different direction.”
Her baby blue eyes finally turned towards his crimson and gold, a look a determination in them were clear as day and set his nerves on fire.  Akashi Seijuurou felt the strength that came from this petite girl and suddenly craved it for himself, he felt his other quickening at the thought and knew that they were both in agreement.
They wanted to possess every inch and thought of this girl who defied them so easily.
“Akashi-kun should be careful to mask his emotions,” her calm voice brought him back to the present, “I am a challenge to meet and, to your enjoyment, annihilate but you will find that I am every bit as stubborn as you are.”
His grin was sinister as he took a step closer to her, she made no move on her own and continued to wait for his next move.
“Prove to me then, that you can accomplish what you say,” he brought his face closer to hers, “But you, Kuroko Tetsumi, will find that I am Absolute and am never wrong!”

hello! can i get kiyoshi, kagami, aomine, and akashi reacting to their S/O crying? but it turns out it's just something silly like she got shampoo in her eyes or saw a really cute dog. thank you!!
Here you go anon! ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)
Thank uoi for requesting!
♥︎ AKASHI:
What was taking her so long?
But it’s not like he was complaining.
Akashi patiently waited outside of her house, as they did make a deal for their dinner date.. and each date always felt like the first one! Except it was less awkward, and it got more fun, of course. How lucky he was.
Finally, after a few more minutes, she walked out of the door, her face in her hands, and her cries audible. Akashi frowned and quickly made his way over to her, gently pulling her in a tight embrace.
“Love, what’s the matter?” he asked softly, placing his hand on top of her head and started running his fingers through her hair. He pulled away to look her in the eyes.
She frowned and wiped her tears. “Sei.. it hurts.”
He placed a hand on her shoulder. “What hurts?”
She pointed at her eyes. “I got shampoo in my eyes earlier! And for some reason, it still stings.. It takes so long to get rid of it. Always!”
“Always?” he cocked an eyebrow. So this happened often, did it? But then, as long as it wasn’t affecting her sight, he wouldn’t be too worried.
She nodded. “And I don’t think I can cry anymore, which makes everything more worse! So.. if you’re up for it, Sei..”
“I challenge you to a staring contest!”
“Challenge?” he smiled.
“You bet! Not only will I feel good about myself when I win, but I’ll also manage to tear up, will I?”
She was weird.. that was true, but Akashi always found it cute.
He shrugged. “Alright,” then turned to his driver that stood behind him. “Park the car somewhere.. this might take a while.”
“It will take a while!” (Name) said, as she rubbed her eyes. “If I win.. buy me new shampoo that won’t hurt when it gets in my eyes, please?”
He laughed and nodded. “Hmm.”
But he was going to buy her that shampoo either way.. it looked like she really needed it.
♥︎ AOMINE:
She smiled at the disk Momoi gave her a while ago, before sliding it into the dvd player. Then she flopped down on the couch without some popcorn as the movie started.
She wasn’t usually the sensitive type. She didn’t cry whenever she was scolded, or whenever she got low grades.. but for some reason, the movie made her break down.
It was just..
So beautiful!
She was too busy trying to stop the tears from flowing, she didn’t even notice the door swing open, to reveal a very tired looking Aomine.
“I’m back.”
She quickly wiped her tears away hearing the man’s entrance. Aomine entered the living room and heard her crying softly. His eyes widened, and at that moment, it was as if all his tiredness were gone.
“Oi, what happened to you?” he growled, quickly making his way over to her, his protective side taking over. He trails his gaze across her body, trying to find a wound of some sort, only to find none.
“Satsuki..” she murmured, sniffing and wiping her tears away, her pitiful eyes looking up at him.
His brows furrowed. “W-what? What happened?!”
“Aomine, tell her I won’t forgive her!” she said, standing up and cleaning up the popcorn she finished. Aomine followed her to the kitchen, still worried.
Why would his childhood friend and girlfriend, who were so close to each other, fight in the first place?
“Tell me what happened.”
She pouted. “The man left the protagonist! I feel so bad for her. Tell her to never suggest movie with bad endings to me ever again!”
Aomine’s mouth went agape at his words. “So.. that was that? You cried over a desperate love story?”
“You would do the same if you experienced it,” she rolled her eyes, then smiled. “But thanks for worrying about me, ha! That was cute.”
He flushed.
I mean, it’s not like he would let their love story end, anyways.
♥︎ KAGAMI:
“I have to pursue this dream of mine.” she muttered to herself. Kagami was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the both of them, as it was his birthday.
She always wanted to be an actress. But she’s never tried acting before. So as she waited for her boyfriend to cook their meal, she bit her lip and stared at the ground, trying not to blink.
Kagami was humming to this hip hop song as he was frying some fish, until he heard crying in the living room.
And being the unthoughtful man he was, didn’t turn off the stove when he hurriedly made his way to his girlfriend.
“(N-Name)! What’s the matter? Are you hurt?” he asked quickly, observing her arms to see if she was hurt anywhere.
She ignored him and cried harder, apparently enjoying how he was acting, as she viewed his reaction as ‘part of the script’.
“O-Oi.. tell me what’s wrong, (Name).” Kagami growled, taking off his apron and wiping some sweat off his forehead.
She looked up from her hands and gave him an awkward smile, then lightly slapped his cheeks. “Did I do well?”
“A-Again? Seriously, (Name)?!” Kagami exclaimed, tying his apron again and planting a quick kiss on top of her head. “Stop doing that if you don’t want to burn my apartment down.”
He hurried to the kitchen.
And apparently, they didn’t end up with a meal, and spent the whole night cleaning the kitchen.
♥︎ KIYOSHI:
“Where’s Nigou?” Riko asked the team as she walked inside the gym. (Name), who was completely oblivious about the dog’s existence, looked up from her book.
“Nigou? Who’s that? Is that a codename for your crush?” she teased. Riko playfully rolled her eyes then turned to Izuki.
“Izuki, what have you done to her?” she threatened. Izuki held up both of his hands in surrender and started spurting out his defenses.
“Well, when Kuroko’s lost, the dog’s lost, too.” Kiyoshi beamed, sitting beside his girlfriend and swinging an arm around her. “(Name), what are you reading?”
“It’s a book about dogs.” she raised it so the whole team could see it. “I just love them! I wish I had one.. if only I wasn’t allergic.”
“Did someone sad ‘dog’?” a familiar voice said from behind. A dog bark then echoes throughout the gym, alarming (Name). She quickly turned around.
“It’s..” she jumped from the chair and moved closer to Nigou. “It’s.. so.. adorable!”
Then, out of a sudden, her smile dropped and she made her way to the corner, hugging her knees to her chest and sulked. “But I’m allergic.”
Kiyoshi smiled nervously. “Hehe, you can just get a cat, (Name), right?”
She nodded, but it didn’t look too convincing.
“That? Adorable?” Kagami scoffed, as he stood on one of the benches. “It’s not! Get it away from me.”
“You’re lucky you aren’t allergic.” (Name) frowned, hiding her face in her hands.
Pretty soon, the other guys (including Teppei) surrounded Nigou, as he was another addition to the ‘team’.
“Ah!” before they even knew it, (Name) had real tears trailing down her cheek. Teppei was the first one to react.
“(N-Name), are you alright?” he approached her. He wrapped his arms around her, and then she broke down. “Tell me what got you so down.” he ran his fingers through her hair.
She didn’t reply, instead, she hugged him back and cried harder.
“Teppei! What did you do?” Riko narrowd her eyes and cracked her knuckles.
“I didn’t do anything.” Kiyoshi reassured, then looked down on his upset girlfriend. “(Name), I’m here.. what do you want me to do to make you feel better, love?”
She stopped crying and looked up.
“Get me a dog.”
“I see.” he grinned nervously. “So it’s either I get beaten up or I get to see you cry.. why are my choices so limited?!”

Last Game Summary *MAJOR SPOILERS*
MAJOR SPOILERS! If you don’t want to be spoiled about Last Game just don’t read this. Also, for those who are gonna spazz and post about the summary PLEASE DON’T SPOIL FOR OTHERS WHO DON’T WISH TO BE SPOILED. (There are people trust me). If you are gonna post about Last Game please use the hashtag #last game spoilers so people can block it. Thank you.
The show I went to had the liveviewing for the seiyuu greetings as well so I’ll write a bit of that after this.
Now if you want to be spoiled, please continue!!
I’ll start off with some basics. Granted being an anime adaptation they had to cut some scenes from the manga, such as Seirin practicing in the beginning so we don’t see the new first years, Akashi talking with everyone about Bokushi coming back, Riko talking about the issue with their teamwork, Kise and Kagami freaking out over Kuroko missing, Nijimura at the end (I WANTED TO SEE NIJIMURA), the “fillers” as I would call them. But I guess with the time limit they had to cut those ;n;
But now I understand the “original story” concept they added and why it’s called “Last Game” rather than “Extra Game”
Okay actual movie report. I had to try to memorize almost 3 hours worth of stuff (Movie & greetings) so I apologize if I don’t include everything but I’ll try my best.
Movie opens up with Kagami transferring to his middle school in Japan after moving back from America and joining the basketball club. He makes a dunk and accidentally knocks down someone in the process. Much like his current self, he extends a hand and apologizes as he tries to help the guy up, but the guy comments how he saw how Kagami’s face looked like he’s playing as if he was bored. Time progresses and people note how Kagami is always alone at school because the basketball club doesn’t like him. Kagami looks out a window saying it’s boring and he wants someone to do something about it.
Scene then cuts to the current time where it’s hot in the summer as Kagami walks to Seirin. Then we see Kuroko was actually behind him with Nigou in his bag saying it was his turn today to take care of Nigou. Kagami then gets a call from Alex but we don’t hear the conversation. Then we see Alex and an American coach who praises how good of a player Kagami is. Alex responds by she guarantees Kagami loves basketball more than anyone. The coach asks her if he can be expecting a “good answer” from Kagami.
Kagami and Kuroko arrive at Seirin (late of course) just before the Team Strky match begins. The news introduces Jabberwock on the screen. Seirin talks about how amazing it is for Kagetora to guide them and that’s how Hyuuga and Riko got live tickets for the exhibition match. Izuki mutters if things are “going well” for those two and Koganei mentally tells Hyuuga to be a man and “clutch” her heart. At the court, Hyuuga sneezes. XD  We see the rest of the GoM and their teams excited for the match too. Yosen in particular died seeing Okamura’s new hair haha. Hyuuga has a quick flashback to a phonecall with Kiyoshi (who’s at a hospital for rehab) how Kiyoshi’s heard of Jabberwock but has heard many bad rumors about them which Hyuuga then grows worried.
The match between Jabberwork and Team Strky begins. The animation for this was insane. Team Strky starts off strong and each member gets a turn in the spotlight, though Kasamatsu and Imayoshi get a bit more naturally. Then Jabberwork was super fast and seeing them making of fun of Team Strky was really heartbreaking. Kasamatsu offers to shake hands despite the loss but Nash takes the chance to make fun of everyone as we all know then spits in Kasamatsu’s hand. Kagetora proposes the revenge match which we all know who the members are.
The GoM arrive at the gym commenting how they never thought this would happen again. Unlike the manga where most of them were bickering with each other over Interhigh they cut that part out and just had them greet each other calmly. Kise asks Kagetora if those two were coming and he replies of course. Akashi comments how they were the ones who beat them so how could they not. Kuroko and Kagami then arrive which Momoi immediately glomp tackles Kuroko. Hyuuga, Takao, and Wakamatsu arrive as well as the bench members. They even had the scene where Hyuuga questions himself if it was okay to be there and Akashi reads his mind and tells him he’s more than welcome XD. They show a bit of the GoM practicing, like a quick scene for each character, then it cuts to the day before the match. Kagetora tells Riko and Momoi he’s going to Roppongi to watch over Jabberwocks to prevent them from going crazy which Riko worries. These scenes are pretty much teh same as the manga. Kuroko overhears Kagetora and Riko’s conversation. Kise then asks Kagami to have a one on one match. Aomine asks if anyone’s seen Kuroko and Midorima says he hasn’t been seeen since Kagetora left, which Kise and Kagami look at them blankly.
Jabberwocks are at a club and sees Kagetora arrive asking why he was there. Then they see Kuroko which Kagetora freaks out asking why he was there. (All in Japanese) Kuroko confronts Jabberwock in the same way as the manga. For censorship reasons, instead of a punch to the face Nash kicks Kuroko in the stomach before the GoM arrives. (Oh yeah they had the running scene before commenting how Kuroko is so reckless, unpredictable, etc). Akashi stops Aomine and Kagami before a fight breaks out and tells them to save it for the match as Kuroko wishes (same as the manga) and they start to leave. Jabberwock makes fun of them for chickening out which Akashi retorts back in ENGLISH, “Shut up you scum! You guys better be ready to lose. We’re gonna mop the floor with you tomorrow.”
The next day is the actual match. Seirin comments how they’re playing in a stadium which Izuki replies that Jabberwork made fun of basketball for not only Team Strky, but the entire country. So of course many people are going to come to watch the match. All the other schools are watching as well. Mayuzumi comes in too later in the match (and he talks! He just provides random commentary every now and then) The stadium is decorated with Jabberwock and Vorpal Sword banners everywhere and on the monitor it shows the Vorpal Swords member info much like the first promo they did. (It’s the same picture for Akashi as my icon for those who can’t remember which one).  Silver says in English “Hey you babies! Did you remember to put on your diapers??” The match for the most part follows the manga so I won’t go too much into detail. (ALso I just don’t remember every single thing about it or that’s worth nothing). VS starts off strong until Jabberwock starts taking them seriously. For more details on the match please just read the manga as it follows most of that, if not all. They did include all the big points though, such as Midorima’s 3 pointers, Kise and Aomine team play, Kagami teaming up with Aomine and Mukkun, Kise going into the Zone, the short Kise and Aomine Teiko flashback with Momoi crying, Aomine vs Silver, Akashi vs Nash and his Devil Eye, oh yeah BOKUSHI. Mayuzumi comments how even with Emperor Eye, Akashi was still being pushed back. They did include the scene of Kise talking to Kasamatsu telling him to win for the sake of their hard work so far and Okamura teaching Mukkun after Winter Cup. They also included Akashi and Midorima’s miracle play (same as Takao). Takao comments how he knows what’s gonna happen and he’s amazed but also frustrated at the same time. He seemed a bit sad about it ;w; Mukkun breaks his wrist like in the manga and Kuroko takes over. KUROKO WAS PISSEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD DAMN KUROKO YOU SCARY. For Kuroko’s comeback after switching with Mukkun, they played a new insert song, “Against the Wind” by no other than Ono Kensho! Bokushi’s farewell was done quite well. If you remember the original Yu-Gi-Oh and how you often saw a transparent Yugi talking to Yami Yugi it was similar to that. Bokushi was playing as he was talking to Oreshi who was transparent next to him, saying he needs to disappear for the Emperor Eye to be complete. Oreshi’s heartbroken face was a stab right to your own heart *sobs* As Bokushi says farewell and thank you, their fingers are briefly partly locked together before Oreshi walks away letting go of Bokushi. (Oh for you fans out there this time theyr’e actually naked). Mayuzumi notices Akashi’s change. Akashi makes use of his fully developed Emperor Eye and VS attacks Jabberwock with less than 30 sec remaining. They manage to narrow it to down by 1 point and as we know, Kuroko steals the ball and Aomine and Kagami finish it up. So very similar to the manga just much better because the ANIMATION IS AMAZING ESPECIALLY FOR KISE’S SCENES OR ANY SCENE WITH TEH ZONE.  Vorpal Swords win and everyone is happy. Mayuzumi also smiled!
Kagetora throws them a party at his gym where he’s drunk and tells everyone to drink up! Hyuuga tells him that they’re only high schoolers but Kagetora tells them juice is okay! Momoi comments how Kagetora likes to spend money and Riko gets embarrassed asking her to forget about it. The GoM are together enjoying all the junk food (including Akashi) and Kise says he wonders what news Kagami has to say. (Oh yeah the Seirin first year trio is there too. Oh should say second year trio now). Kagami and Kuroko are seen alone in a different room looking out the window. Then we see the two of them talking with Seirin. Kagami announces he’s going back to America. They ask if it’s like the time he went back for training but Kagami says it’s different. He’s been recruited to a very good high school and will work to become an NBA player. Everyone in Seirin is shocked and tells Kuroko to say something about it (who all this time has had a sad expression). Then they ask if Kuroko knew about it the entire time and Kuroko answers yes because he was coincidentally there when Kagami got the call from Alex. Seirin was sad but they tell Kagami that they’ll support his decision. THe GoM then comes out having overheard everything. Kise comments how he noticed Kagami was acting a bit weird. Aomine sulks saying HE should be the one recruited to which Midorima asks him since when did he become “number one.?” . Everyone else in their own way expresses their happiness for kagami. Akashi tells Kagami that the GoM gives their support to him and thanks him for the matches they played against him . Akashi also says that Kagami was not only their best rival, but also their best friend.  Akashi suggests it’d be sad for Kagami to just leave like that and as the GoM they’ve already had the greatest match with Kagami, so as a farewell present for Seirin he suggests one last match. Seirin vs the GoM. Everyone is shocked and Akashi assures them he’s already prepared their uniforms in which Koganei screams “HOW FAR CAN YOU SEE INTO THE FUTURE?!?!?” Seirin asks if they’re okay playing a match and the GoM assures they have enough strength to play another game and Kise says if necessary they can use the subs (Wakamatsu and Takao) and Seirin could change out too.  We see them on the court for the Tip Off (GoM is in their VS uniforms and Seirin in their school ones) but we don’t know the outcome. Yes even Mukkun decided to play with one arm.....XD;
Then we see Kagami and Seirin at the airport. Kagami politely thanks them and he’ll do his best and becoming an NBA player will be easy for him and shakes hand with Kuroko. Being quite formal about it. Kuroko thanks Kagami and wishes him luck. As Kagami lines up to go through the gate, he starts to regret not thanking Kuroko properly and leaving with just a handshake. He runs back just as Kuroko was leaving and yells at Kuroko that he was wrong and lied and that he realized that becoming a pro is going to be difficult and he’ll struggle and that Kuroko has done so much for him and that HE was the one should be thanking Kuroko and starts crying. Kuroko with his back towards him, wipes his eyes and turns to him and says “Well of course there’s going to be obstacles. Did you really think that you could become a pro THAT easily? Struggle more” Kagami is a bit shocked that Kuroko was talking to him like that, but then Kuroko says that if it’s Kagami he can overcome them. Kuroko also starts tearing up and raises his hand in a fistbump saying he’ll always be Kagami’s shadow. Kagami smiles back and raises his fist back at him and the scene/movie ends with the two of them smiling with their fists out as they stood apart.
THE END. TIME FOR GRANRODEO’S NEW SONG IN THE CREDITS
Okay not the end. After the credits there was a short post-scene.
We see an airplane flying away and Kise says “So he’s gone huh....?”. We see the GoM together on a bench watching the plane depart outside somewhere . Mukkun says “So that means we’ll never play against Kagami again?” And Aomine  says “No way” and Midorima agrees. Aomine declares he’ll go to America. Kise asks if it’s to see Kagami and Aomine says “Of course not, BAKA! I’m gonna become an NBA player!” Kise asks when and Aomine responds that he doens’t know yet but it’ll be soon. They ask what did Midorima mean (about fighting against Kagami) and Midorima smiles and says that it’s pretty much a given that they’re all going to continue playing basketball. Akashi smiles and agrees and says that only the stage has changed and that as long as they play basketball they’ll be able to fight Kagami again. We see Kuroko running and smiling as he meets back up with Seirin who were waiting outside for him.
The ending card is very similar to the photo of Seirin winning Winter Cup. All of the Vorpal Swords members are on the court smiling raising fist bumps with a giant banner that says “Vorpal Swords,” including Kagetora, Riko, Momoi, Hyuuga, Takao, and Wakamatsu.
UPDATE: Added a bit more to the ending scenes since I saw it a second time

Please write a meaningful scenario with Kuroko and his feelings on parting from the GOM. I'd like most of the focus to be on Aomine.
It’sunseasonably cool for this time of year.
Kurokohas lived through a few record-breaking winters, dipping well intosubzero temperatures, but he doesn’t remember many because Tokyorarely falls below freezing. When it does it doesn’t last for longand even though snow isn’t a particularly rare sight, it’susually gone as quick as it comes.
Hisfavorite park sits on the edge of town, circled by trees that keepthe heavily commuted streets just out of view. It’s a tranquil placethat’s usually kept Kuroko from being disturbed during his manyvisits, to which he’s grateful. Living near the world’s largestmetropolitan area, it can be difficult to find peace and serenitymore often than not.
Havingthe ability to turn off his presence certainly has its advantages, but he can’t block out those around him—the constant hustle andbustle of industrious city life is enough to set even someone asadaptable and amicable as himself on edge sometimes.
Kurokosits on the edge of a snow-damp log, resting at a crooked angle nearthe edge of an abandoned koi pond. He imagines the fish swimmingcontentedly beneath the leafy surface, their tails cutting throughthe crystal water the way they had when he was still a young boy. Now, the surface of the pond is dirty and frozen, ruling out anychance of visible discovery. Kuroko knows there’s nothing to befound, like most things he’s looking for when he comes to the park, but knowing doesn’t stop the ache that lances through his heart inthe shape of anguish. He curls his fingers around his jacket and hugsit close to his skin in an attempt to shield himself from theslow-creeping sadness that cuts through him like the winter wind. Heshivers, his focus following the motion down the entire length of hisspine, but he knows the vibration has nothing to do with the cold. He exhales slowly, the warmth of his breath visible in the crisp airas it turns over to a sigh.
Severalmonths ago things were normal—or perhaps—as normal as any oneperson would consider their life to be. His friends were still ongood terms with each other, basketball never ceased to be thehighlight of his day, and his best friend and idol was…himself.Nowadays, his life feels like a jigsaw puzzle that has been slowlybroken apart piece by piece without the possibility of ever fittingback together.
He usedto think that he was wholly self-reliant, that he could take care ofhimself without the help of others. But now he feels like he can nolonger jump without falling—a sinking ship instead of shootingstar. He feels like a ghost, an empty vessel with a broken bow.
Aominehas recently gone from his light to nothing but a thorn in his side, and Kuroko is lucky if he hears from him at all anymore. He thinksthat he’s lost something, but at times he thinks that’s better thanever going back to the way things were.
But heknows that he’s lying to himself. He would take everything back if itmeant that his friendship with Aomine had never fallen apart. Yet,everything has turned to darkness, with the exception of this onetruth that’s slipped through the cracks. He can feel it biting, breaking beneath his skin because he knows that it’s too lateto go back.
It’s hismost constant mistake—he doesn’t know what people mean to him untilthey’re gone.
Kurokocups his hands over his face, breathing against the pale of hisfingers to ward off the cold biting at his skin, thirsty for bloodand picking a fight. Only months ago, Aomine was here sitting by hisside, making jokes while tossing stones into the air or aimlesslywhipping them through the trees. Though, most times, he was puttingaway a large amount of food purchased from the local Maji Burger.
Theycame to this very park on countless occasions, leaving footprints inthe dirt and their fingerprints in the sand. It was once a place forrespite but now it feels so uninviting. Which leaves Kurokoquestioning his reason for coming to this specific park on a day likethis; a day when most of the Miracles were tucked away inside theirhomes attending to various activities.
Theanswer isn’t buried as far back in his mind as he’d like. He knowsthe truth, but he can’t really see it for what it is. Instead,he pretends to be blind, turning his back on the reality of thesituation.
Eventhen, things aren’t as simple as he wants them to be. He can’t doaway with the pain he carries with him, knowing that he and Aominehave parted ways. So he walks around the park, kicking stones attrees as his head grows heavy with thoughts of the past. He knowsthat he should have seen it coming—andmaybe he did—but he knew that they couldn’t makeit as a team. He even found himself wondering if they could handletheir friendship, knowing how much they irritated each other attimes. He thought that separating for a while could only help, thatbeing apart didn’t mean that they would never see each other again.
Ofcourse, Aomine is different—always an exception to every rule.
It tookKuroko nearly a week to make the connection, to realize that thissimple reality is what frustrated him the most. Not only that, but hewasn’t the only person to feel this way. Which should have beencomforting, but being alone in this was actually preferred.
There issomething about the tan-skinned boy that brings out an arrayof emotions from not one, not two, but many people. He hasthat spark, his smile is like coming home, and when he’shappy, he’s like an eternal summer.
Kurokowishes he could still feel that warmth, if only for a minute.
He’sgrown used to the rumors, the whispers of suggestion that spreadaround him like wildfire, but the fabrication that always burns thebrightest is that Kuroko doesn’t have feelings. People used to saythat he was as empty on the inside as he was invisible on theoutside. Maybe they still do. He doesn’t pay much attention to othersanymore.
ButKuroko can feel. He doesn’t express emotion in the same way asothers, but he isn’t detached from reality, he isn’t delusional oranesthetized. If he was, this wouldn’t have to hurt so bad. Hewouldn’t be so frustrated by the fact that Aomine is admired by somany and that Kuroko himself fell for his charm.
Headmonishes himself for being selfish, for making the connection, butsinking the edges of his teeth into his tongue isn’t enough to staveoff his emotions.
Silenceisn’t cutting it, but the winter wind has him shaking like a leaf andthere’s no space in his throat for the words that scrape like frostagainst his lungs.
Kurokoetches an abstract design into the powder-white snow beneath hisfeet. He knows it’s only a matter of time, then he’ll be moving on toa new school; and maybe, justmaybe, the faces floating in the back of his mind will nolonger taste like heartbreak on his tongue.
A twigcracks in the distance and Kuroko whips around, his fingers numb withcold and aching as he tightens his hand into a fist. His heart thudsrapidly in his chest as he follows the perimeter of the park withrapt attention, his eyes searching and his ears listening.
Hismotion turns to stillness as a broken breath spills past his lips andinto a startled gasp. Aomine is standing mere feet away, his smilebright enough to melt the snow clinging to Kuroko’s boots. It bringsa certain warmth to the center of Kuroko’s chest, thawing the chillthat’s turned his blood to ice in his veins.
A lineof moisture forms on Kuroko’s lashes as the wind stings the brightblue of his gaze. He swallows thickly as he tries to pull Aomine’ssilhouette into clarity, but he loses the battle and as soon as heblinks the image is gone, swept away as easily as the dead leaveslittering the dirt-frost ground.
Kurokoswallows the hard lump that forms in the dark of his throat, handsshaking as he fights to ease the tension turning his knuckles white. He looks at the space between his feet, sniffling once before herealizes the shape he carved into the snow closely resembles theletter A.
Hecloses his eyes, wishing for tomorrow, but all he can see are momentsthat have passed. He chokes on a wave of disappointment and closeshis fist on determination as he sets off in the direction of hishome.
Hewonders if he’s numbing himself until Aomine’s no longer alive.
Thatwinter goes down as the coldest in Tokyo and it isn’t until springthat the ice covering the pond thaws, melting down enough to revealthe murky water below. The park looks relatively untouched, the onlysign of life being a crumpled wrapper near Kuroko’s favoritelog—whether left by mistake or disregard will forever be a mystery.
Thereare small footprints in the dirt but Kuroko is nowhere to be seen.
Theshift of seasons brings on more than a variety of changes—one beingthat the days stay lighter just a little bit longer.
And to ashadow, that’s just enough.

apostasy - centre fragment
Read on AO3 (highly recommended)
~~
"How low you've fallen, Chihiro."
'You don't have to say it, asshole -- I already... know...'
He can't feel, or see anything anymore. The last thing he remembers is the soft, derisive chuckle that rings through his ears, the same way it did eight years ago.
~~
"...a ... tsuya... Tetsuya."
"...?"
'I know... that voice.'
"Tetsuya."
It's a voice as rich as velvet, silky, smooth, but more than anything...
...It's as sweet as poison.
He remembers this voice.
He remembers--
...
From where?
...
"Why are you--"
"Can't you tell from looking? Hey, Tetsuya...
...he's already broken, you know?"
...
...
...
It's raining.
"It's raining, huh," Kuroko Tetsuya notes aloud, gazing out through stained glass.
"Well, I guess I won't have any jobs," Kagami Taiga shrugs. "Hope you don't, either."
"That's raising a death flag, Kagami-kun."
"Shut up. There's no way--"
He cuts himself off as Tetsuya's phone goes off. Raising a brow, Taiga watches as Tetsuya reaches into his pocket.
The second he pulls his phone out and sees the display, he blinks, expression blank.
"It's Aomine-kun."
"Oh," Taiga blinks. He'd invited Daiki over to his house along with Tetsuya, of course -- but the policeman had been abruptly called in for duty, forcing him to reluctantly decline. Glancing over his shoulder, Taiga peers at the clock.
It's sixteen past three in the afternoon.
'It shouldn't be his break yet,' Taiga thinks, feeling his stomach drop. He whips back around to face Tetsuya, but evidently, the detective had caught on the moment his phone rang. Taiga swallows.
"...I see. We'll be right over," Tetsuya voices before ending the call. Slipping his phone back into his pocket, he stands up, and Taiga does the same.
"What's the situation? Arson?"
"No," Tetsuya shakes his head. "Murder."
Tetsuya opens his eyes, blinking blearily.
...He isn't in Chihiro's safehouse anymore -- that much is obvious. Intriguingly, he isn't bound up: instead, he can feel silken sheets surrounding him.
It's so comfortable that he knows in an instant -- something is terribly wrong.
Shooting upright, Tetsuya's vision blurs, and he feels himself slip--
--only to be supported gently by a hand that lays him back against something hard -- the bedframe.
"You shouldn't move so suddenly," a familiar voice admonishes, laced with amusement, "you were knocked out just a few hours ago. You also injured your own forehead."
The voice sighs almost fondly, and the warm sound sends a chill right down Tetsuya's spine.
"Provoking and fighting an assassin... You really do never fail to exceed my expectations, Tetsuya."
He doesn't have to look up to know he's being watched with those same eyes--
--those icy, cold eyes that pierce; have always pierced, since so long ago; through him mercilessly, relentlessly, those eyes that know all--
Tetsuya lifts his head, and he drowns in a sea of crimson and amber.
"Murder?" Taiga repeats, eyes wide. "Shit, did someone get burned alive or something?"
"..."
Taiga's jaw drops.
"Hold on, I was joking--"
"Yes."
"...What?"
He almost doesn't want to hear the answer that comes next.
"The death god has made his move, Kagami-kun."
"Shinigami-san," the name falls from Tetsuya's lips before he can stop himself. The "death god" only laughs that same, beguiling, charming laugh that Tetsuya remembers more vividly than anything.
(He really wishes he doesn't.)
"How many times have I told you to call me by my name, Tetsuya? Or could it be... Have you forgotten it already?"
He says the words as if they're a question, but they both know he isn't asking anything. After all, his name hasn't left Tetsuya's mind for a single moment over the years.
"...Akashi Seijuurou-san."
Seijuurou's smirk combined with his hooded eyes are a dangerous, dangerous weapon.
"Death god," Taiga echoes incredulously. "His last victim was literally three days ago -- what the hell's going on with that guy?"
"That's my job to find out," Tetsuya murmurs, gaze hardening. Taiga sees his expression from the corner of his eye, and gulps.
"...Hey, Kuroko."
"What is it, Kagami-kun? We have to hurry and get moving. Aomine-kun is waiting. Or..." he tilts his head innocently, "...could it be, you're having a lover's quarrel? What a horrid person you are, not divulging such information to me, your best friend."
"W-w-wha-- no! It's not like that, idiot!"
Taiga flushes red as he pulls on his jacket.
"Why are you here?"
"Shouldn't that be my question, Tetsuya?" Seijuurou steps closer to the bed once more. He presses his knees onto the bed sheets as he leans in, lifting Tetsuya's chin with a single hand. "Tell me -- why did you choose to come here?"
He knows the answer. He always does, but he wants to hear it from Tetsuya directly.
Despite how light-headed he is, the conviction in the detective's gaze does not waver.
"I came to apprehend you. You and Mayuzumi-san both."
"Did you?" Seijuurou chuckles. "Willingly walking in here yourself... Were you waiting for that chance these past few years?"
"Were you?"
Tetsuya surprises himself with his own boldness, and Seijuurou is visibly perplexed for a moment, too. Then, his eyes narrow and his lips curl upwards.
"Yes," he says as his hand moves to caress Tetsuya's cheek, "I've been waiting for a long time."
When they arrive on the scene, there is nobody other than members of the police force.
"No witnesses nor suspects again," Tetsuya notes softly. Taiga glances at him, concerned, but he doesn't get a chance to read the boy's expression before a familiar arm slings around his shoulder.
"Yo, Kagami. Tetsu."
"Aomine!"
"Aomine-kun." Tetsuya acknowledges, eyes locked onto the crime scene, "I'm going to investigate."
"Ah-- er, yeah, thanks."
Daiki watches warily as Tetsuya walks over to another detective on the case. As usual, he goes unnoticed until he places a hand on the male's back, scaring the living life out of him. Taiga snorts, but his mirth fades when he turns to face his boyfriend.
"Aomine--"
"Yeah, I know. Tetsu's really obsessed with that guy, isn't he?"
"Obsessed, you say... I don't think it's that big of a deal yet," Taiga refutes, but the argument sounds weak, even to his own ears. Daiki doesn't look at him when he speaks, gaze fixed onto their best friend's back.
"...It'd be good if it weren't."
"Akashi-san," Tetsuya tries. Seijuurou shakes his head.
"Do you intend to nullify our agreement from last time, Tetsuya?"
"...Seijuurou."
"It would be better for you to rest right now," he says in lieu of answering, "your body has not recovered yet."
Seijuurou lets go of Tetsuya and moves off the bed, but before he can make it out the door, Tetsuya speaks.
"Please wait, Aka-- Seijuurou."
"What is it?"
"...Where is Mayuzumi-san?"
Seijuurou's mouth twists upwards to form a smile that shows nothing.
"He, too, is resting in another room. His injuries have not healed, after all."
"..."
The door shuts smoothly behind him as he leaves, and Tetsuya's fingers tighten in the silken sheets splayed around his body.
He can't do anything but watch Seijuurou go.
But worst of all--
--he can't even point out his obvious routes of escape when they both know:
that there's no way he'll take a single step towards them.
"I have to go," Tetsuya says, but Daiki does not move out of his way, and Taiga does not let his shoulder go.
"You can't, Tetsu. Wait for reinforcements -- or, take us with you."
"That won't work," he says, shaking his head. "He's always ten steps ahead of us. If I don't go after him now, we won't stand a chance in catching him."
"How do you know he's going to be there?"
"I know," Tetsuya's nails dig into his fists. His eyes flit back to the crime scene briefly, and Daiki catches on immediately.
"He left something for you, didn't he," the policeman says, and Tetsuya does not flinch. Taiga's eyes widen as the boy nods.
"That doesn't make a reason for why we can't go," Taiga argues, and Tetsuya bites his lip, brows furrowing in a rare display of frustration.
"I have to go alone--"
"Did he say that to you?"
"No," Tetsuya's eyes are downcast, "but this is my job. Aomine-kun and Kagami-kun... I can't--"
"Don't give me that 'I can't get you two involved' shit, Tetsu." Daiki growls, "I'm not letting you go to this guy by yourself."
"Are you saying that as a policeman, or as my best friend?"
The uncharacteristically harsh words spill from Tetsuya's lips before he can think, and he freezes. Daiki's features contort in anguish.
"I'm saying it as both, Tetsu."
He lowers his head, and Tetsuya inhales sharply. Taiga tenses up, mouth agape as Daiki bows.
"...Please. Don't do something so reckless."
"..."
Tetsuya takes a step forward, hands reaching out to cup Daiki's face. He lifts his head, meeting the phantom's gaze.
He's never seen the warmth and resolve in those deep, blue eyes glow so strongly.
"Aomine-kun," Tetsuya begins softly, "thank you very much. But, I have to go. I'll be fine. I know I will."
"..."
"Well, if Kuroko's that confident," Taiga traps both of them in headlocks, ignoring their muffled protests, "then we'll have to give him the good part this time, huh?"
Daiki stops struggling and heaves a sigh. Stepping back, they both ruffle Tetsuya's hair in sync, earning a small huff from the boy. Taiga laughs at his powder-blue locks that have successfully turned into an absolute mess of spikes, and Daiki snickers.
When he looks up at the pair, Tetsuya doesn't bother to hide the smile playing at his lips.
Blood. The unmistakably thick, stifling scent of blood is palpable in the air, even through the heavy rain. Tetsuya heads towards it, already tugging a vinyl glove onto his right hand. He pulls out his phone with his left.
Like an intentional trail, there is blood splattered across the asphalt, splatters that only increase the closer he gets to whoever -- whatever is waiting.
...
...When he finds it, he can barely perceive it as a former human.
There isn’t a single inch of the ground that isn’t painted red. He can’t tell whether the corpse was a female, or a male. It’s closer to “a mess of carved flesh and innards” than a tangible body at this point.
He swallows.
It's gruesome -- he can hardly bear to look at it. Closing his eyes, Tetsuya breathes in -- he can only smell blood, blood, blood, it's so strong he can practically taste it -- and dials a number on his phone.
"Tetsu?"
"He got us," Tetsuya says immediately, "I'm sending you the address right now."
"...Alright. Be careful."
Nimble fingers gliding across the keyboard, Tetsuya forwards his current location to both Daiki and Taiga, and then turns away.
He pauses.
Eyes narrowing, he walks back and kneels down, pressing his gloved fingers to the bloodied concrete.
"I swear I'll definitely find you."
"...!"
The moment Tetsuya reaches for the dying man on the floor, he hears a click. Eyes widening, he jumps back--
--and watches as he goes up in flames.
Tetsuya wants to scream, he can't breathe, he can hear the man's screeches as the fire licks up his arms, his clothes, his wounds, the rain isn’t helping--
"Another miss, huh."
He freezes up entirely as an arm wraps around his waist. A hand presses softly against his eyes, but he doesn't have to look to be able to know who's behind him. With his back pressed against his chest, Tetsuya swallows.
"You didn't make it on time, Tetsuya," Seijuurou's voice purrs beside his ear, "didn't I tell you before? If you don't make haste, it'll be over before you realise it."
"...Yes."
He can feel Seijuurou's smile without seeing it.
"Hey, Tetsuya. Shall we make a bet?"
"...?"
"If I win, you have to call me by my first name."
He lets go of Tetsuya, who turns to face him, eyes ablaze as always -- no matter how shaken he is. He can feel the corners of his lips tug upwards of their own volition.
He's always loved those eyes.
Chuckling, he holds his right hand out, palm upwards, fingers slightly curled. Tetsuya's gaze flicks down to it for a moment, and Seijuurou's smile widens.
"If you win, you can take me in."
"Fucking... bastard...!"
"Kagami Taiga," Seijuurou murmurs, leaning down. Taiga is glaring up at him, grimacing from where he lies on the floor. He can't see anything in Seijuurou's eyes: there is nothing but ice and void.
"My orders are absolute. If I tell you to fall, you will fall. Know your place."
"Shut... the fuck... up! I'll kill you..."
"Oh?" Seijuurou glances at the scissors stabbed through Taiga's hands, pinning him to the ground. "You should consider yourself lucky that Tetsuya does not wish for your death. Otherwise..."
"...You asshole, as if that's-- the reason why you're--"
"Yes," Seijuurou slams the heel of his shoe down onto Taiga's fingers callously. He gazes down with bored indifference when a scream rips from Taiga’s throat, as if he were watching vermin crawling across filth. "The reason I am not killing you is simple -- it's because you're still usable."
"...! You--"
"...Kagami-kun?"
He's lost count of how many times he's seen Seijuurou.
Always, always chasing--
Yet he hasn't caught him even once.
Tetsuya wakes up with a single arm outstretched, palm facing up as he reaches towards the ceiling. The blankets have been rearranged so that he nestles in them softly; but that isn't all.
His fingers are laced with someone else's. Squinting open his eyes, he can make out a clouded shape that is undeniably Akashi Seijuurou.
"Good morning, Tetsuya."
"...Good morning."
Seijuurou does not make a move to let go of Tetsuya's hand, so he doesn't, either. He lets their linked hands fall back by his side, though, and Seijuurou peers over at him as he attempts to blink his sleepiness away.
"What were you dreaming about?"
"You," Tetsuya answers without a beat of hesitation. He watches as Seijuurou's eyes widen imperceptibly, and he feels a small sense of satisfaction bloom at the sight. "I was dreaming of the past."
"Oh?" Seijuurou leans in, "Is that why your arm suddenly shot out, then? I was startled."
"Startled," Tetsuya echoes, because he can't imagine Seijuurou jolting in shock at anything.
"Yes, startled," he chuckles, "you grabbed onto me without warning, after all."
"...I apologise."
"No, it's fine."
Seijuurou squeezes his hand, an unusually tender gesture that throws Tetsuya off balance.
"If you hadn't done so, I wouldn't have been able to do this, after all."
"...There was nothing stopping you from doing it either way."
"Is that an invitation?"
"No," he says, staring at Seijuurou straight in the eyes, "but you always act selfishly."
A smile spreads across the redhead's lips.
"Hey, Tetsuya. Don't you think it's about time?"
"...?"
"You should remember by now."
"What are you--"
"Isn't that right?"
Seijuurou shifts ever-so-slightly, the bed dipping as he moves. It grants Tetsuya the ideal vision to what lies in the corner of the room, and--
--everything stops.
"Tetsuya, there's someone new we'd like you to meet. He's going to be-- y-- o-- er... ...pleasure to--"
"I'm-- ...! Niceto-- meet--?"
--where did you--
"I-I--"
"YOU HAVE TO GET OUT, TETSUYA-- --se..--! ...isn't-- I'll--... ... ..."
"..."
...
...
...?!
...go... Let him-- go-- ... !
It isn't-- supposed --?
When he finally looks up, he's alone.
Alone.
...
...
...?
Was there someone here with him before?
"Hey, Kuroko! Hows-- --? --hasn't-- been in a whiile--"
"...?"
Eventually, nobody speaks of it anymore.
Tetsuya has always been alone.
...Alone?
There's something different about this head. It has mahogany-hued locks that frame it almost pristinely. Its eye sockets have been cleaned, almost meticulously, where the eyes have been ripped out. The mouth is agape, the cheeks are sunken, and there are a few cuts across them that have, also, been cleaned. There is a gash beneath the bottom right cheek, along the jaw. There is no longer any blood leaking from it, as if it has all been drained. Similarly, the sever has been done in a spotless, precise manner: it's as if there wasn't a neck nor body to begin with.
It is jarring, even more so with how real it seems. How alive it looks.
"No," Tetsuya breathes, because this isn't how it was supposed to go--
With his palms pressed tightly one on top of the other, pushing back against his lips, Tetsuya's eyes are wide as he forces himself to lean in.
...
His legs won't move.
"Tetsuya, I brought some candy home! Let's eat it together!"
"Yes!"
"No," he repeats, tightening his grip around Seijuurou's fingers, whose lips curl upwards. His heterochromatic eyes widen with pure elation, and all Tetsuya can feel from him is a twisted mixture of delight, love and a bottomless pit of malice--
"Oh dear, Tetsuya, where you with -- ... --again? It's great to see you boys having fun-- ..."
"Yes"--?
where are-- you--?
wheredi d he go--
Masculine. About twenty-five or so years of age, if he were to estimate. Standard, Japanese features. He prods at the jaw.
...
There's something inside.
It's been... Sewn to the roof of the mouth, he realises as he feels the intricate stitching. Whoever did this has been downright meticulous in their handling of their victim.
...
...
...
It's a candy wrapper.
He's seen the candy a handful of times before, advertised around busy cities in Tokyo. He can't remember it that vividly.
Noting it down mentally, he places the head back down, and peers inside the compartment once more.
"No--"
Tetsuya tries to back away, but his body won't move the way he wants it to. He ends up pushing himself directly onto Seijuurou, who catches him without question, silent as the detective trembles in his arms.
"You-- why do you--"
Why do you have that?
The words won't come out of his mouth, but he doesn't want them to, either--
"How long has it been since you last saw that picture? Hmm... Eleven years, was it?"
"Why--"
"Hey," Seijuurou whispers, lips on the nape of Tetsuya's neck as he pulls his small body, so limp and so docile, closer, "you couldn't recognise it at all, could you--"
Tetsuya can't speak.
He can't feel.
He can't breathe, because--
"--the face of your own brother?"

NOTE: THIS HAS BEEN EDITED
How could this have happen? Akashi thought as he was speeding on the road, ignoring the police car that was following him; he knew who it was so he had nothing to worry about in regards to getting a ticket. It was just a stupid fight.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
A loud sound echoed through the house, which woke up the red headed male from his sleep. As it went on, he realized it was not thunder, but someone banging on his door.
“Who the hell is pounding on my door at this hour,” Akashi growled as he looked at the clock. “It’s one in the fucking morning.” He looked over on the other side of his bed and saw that it was neatly made-indicating that you weren’t home.
The pounding on his door got louder and this angered the male even more. “I’m coming!” he exclaimed walking towards the door, briefly forgetting the fact that you weren’t there sleeping next to him. "I swear to god, if it’s you Kise, I’m going to kill you-” He paused when he opened the door-it definitely wasn’t the hyper blond.
“Good morning to you too, Akashi,” the person at the door said. “Be glad it was me that answered the door, Akashi. If it was another cop, you’d be arrested.”
“What do you want, Aomine,” he asked, pinching the brim of his nose. The male took in his former teammates appearance; nothing much, just him wearing his police uniform. “Do you have any idea what time it is? This can wait for the morning and turn off the police lights would you?!”
“No it can’t Akashi,” Aomine replied, as he walked into the house a sullen look on his face.
With a sigh, Akashi closed the door and tossed that taller male a towel. “Dry off.”
“...Thanks.”
The male noticed how Aomine’s tone of voice got softer. “Seriously, what is so important?”
“.,,,What happened between you and (F/N), AKashi,” Aomine asked looking at the red-head as he took out a small memo pad.
“We got into a small fight and she drove off-most likely to her parents house for the evening.
“What is it abou-”
“Irrelevant, Aomine.”
“....Fine. When did this fight happen?” he continued, writing down what he was saying.
“ Around 8, so 5 hours ago. Why are you writing that down, Aomine?!”
Before Aomine could reply, a voice came through on his radio
-This is Officer McNab reporting from the scene on ______ Street by _____Bridge. Two cars collided. Both cars totaled- a sedan and a TransAm-
Akashi perked up at the mention of one of the cars. (F/N) drove a trans am and he didn’t know of very many people who owned that model. Not only that, but that street was one you drove past when you came back from your parents.
‘Victims turn out to be a female and male; the female having (h/c) hair and -’
“Fuck” Aomine quickly tried to shut off his radio before anything else could be said, but it was too late.
“Daiki,” AKashi said, in a low voice, causing the bluenett to swallow the lump in his throat. “What aren’t you telling me?” He noticed how the male was looking away from him. “Stop hiding it and tell me.”
“There was a car crash and....there’s a possibility that (F/N) was involve-Akashi get back here!”
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
He was trying his best to remain calm, constantly telling himself that she’ll be alright. That it’s just protocol for Aomine to inform him because he’s her fiance.
He knew he had reached his destination for there were a lot of police cars and a barricade. inside the barricade, there were also firetrucks, and an ambulance; the multicolored lights faintly illuminating the scene
Stepping on the breaks, Akashi’s car skidded to a stop and he bolted out, running towards the police tape, not caring that it was pouring rain.
🎶 I open my eyes I try to see but I'm blinded by the white light🎶
“This is all just a dream,” he kept repeating to himself as he got closer. The closer he got, he could see the extent of the damage; the front of both cars were totaled, both windshields completely smashed. Even though the rain was impairing his vision, he could faintly make out the outline of a figure, leaning against the steering wheel, not moving.
🎶 I can't remember how I can't remember why I'm lying here tonight🎶
“Sir, you can’t be in here,” an officer started, pushing Akashi back as he tried to break through the tape.
“(F/N)!” he exclaimed, only to be held back by a stronger pair of arms gripping his forearms.
“Oi, Akashi! Calm down-”
“Don’t tell me to calm down Aomine!” he screamed. “(F/N)!” He started to fight against the male holding him back. “we don’t even know if its her.”
🎶 And I can't stand the pain🎶
While the rain was impairing his vision, from the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar mop of ombre red hair peeking out from under a yellow helmet. “OI Kagami! Tell them to let me through!”
🎶And I can't make it go away🎶
Hearing his name, Kagami turned around, wielding an axe in his hand, and faced the male. “I can’t Akashi. I’m sorry,” he yelled back, only to turn around when he heard his name called. He could only stare as several firemen-including Kagami-raced towards the Trans Am. He saw Kagami pry open the driver’s door and reach inside the red car.
There was no mistake; that was definitely your car.
🎶 No, I can't stand the pain 🎶
“Please calm down, Akashi-kun,” a calmer voice said from behind both Aomine and Akashi - which startled the taller male.
Damn it Tetsu Aomine thought. Even at a time like this, you scare us with your misdirection.
“How can I be calm Tetsuya!” he exclaimed, turning his head and facing the former shadow, only to realize that Kuroko wasn’t alone; Kise Momoi and Murasakibara were standing with them-Kuroko having his arm wrapped around Momoi’s shoulder and Murasakibara not holding a single bag of sweets. “That’s (F/N)-
“We don’t know that Akashi-kun. Yelling won’t make it any easier,”
“Aka-chin. You’re being too loud,” Murasakibara growled as he took in the scene,
🎶 Everybody's screaming🎶 I try to make a sound but no one hears me🎶
Facing the scene once again, he noticed another figure, this one sitting on the ground with their head in their hands.
🎶 I'm slipping off the edge I'm hanging by a thread🎶
Trying to get his mind off of this, he closed his eyes and attempted to recall a good memory; that if he reflects on the memory, then this might all go away.
‘This is nothing but a dream’, he kept telling himself, as a memory of your first anniversary appeared in his head.
🎶I wanna start this over again🎶
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (Third Year of High School)
“Sei-chan!” you exclaimed, barging into the student council office with a huge smile on your face, skipping towards his desk.
“And to what do I owe this pleasure of my empress visiting me in my office?” he asked, a smile on his face as you sat on his lap.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, his arms wrapped around your waist, as you giggled. “You left before I could tell you something important.”
“Did I now?” he questioned, raising his eyebrow with a smile still on his face. “What was it that you wanted to tell me?”
“Happy anniversary Seijuro,” you smiled, as you briefly kissed him on the lips.
He smiled and kissed you back, bringing you closer to him. “Indeed, love.”
“I know you have to finish whatever it is you’re working on, and that you have practice afterwards, but will you stop by for dinner? I’m making it.”
“Of course,” he replied, releasing his hold on you as you got off his lap.
“Then I’ll see you later!” And with that, you left the room with a smile on your face.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
🎶 So I try to hold onto a time when nothing mattered🎶
He wasn’t sure why that particular flashback appeared in his mind. Slowly, that happy flashback turned to one of despair, to the incident that happened only a few minutes ago. He didn’t want to remember that-he wants to take back everything.
If you’re bothered by me and the way I work, (F/N) then leave and never come back!
🎶 And I can't explain what happened🎶
He desperately wanted to take those words back. He didn’t want you to leave-he wanted you to stay. He couldn’t control it; Bokushi had taken control.
I didn’t mean any of those things. If there is a higher power, please let her live.
The sound of another car door slamming shut, briefly halted Akashi’s fit as he turned to find Midorima running towards the scene followed by Takao, as an officer raised the tape to allow the males through.
“Midorima!” he yelled at the green haired male, only to get no response from him.
Takao on the other hand, paused and walked over towards the male with a small smile on his face. “Don’t worry-”
“Oi Kazunari!” Midorima yelled, causing the male to jump and scramble to where his husband was standing.
Realization then hit Akashi; Midorima was the best critical doctor of Japan- if Midorima was called in, then it must be bad-worse than what Aomine had led on.
🎶And I can't erase the things that I've done🎶
Looking at the scene in front of him, he saw Kagami holding the figure in the car, with his hand supporting her neck, as medics approached him with a stretcher.
As they were gently placed on the stretcher, Akashi saw their hair sticking to their face as well as their face being completely covered in bruises
🎶No, I can't🎶
“Fuck! (F/N)!” he screamed, once again pulling against Aomine’s grip; he couldn’t see what was happening as the firemen and Midorima were gathered around you, most likely checking vitals.
“What exactly happened, Mine-chin?”
“A drunk driver,” he replied, looking over to the figure who was sitting on the ground; what grabbed his attention was the person’s hair color. His eyes widened in realization as to who the culprit was.
“Officer Aomine,” a fellow officer said, “We need you in here to talk to the suspect.”
Relief flooded Akashi’s face as he realized that Aomine would have to let him go in order to talk to the person at fault.
“Murasakibara.”
“Fiiine.”
The moment Aomine released Akashi, and before he could tear through the tape, he found himself in the air with an arm around his waist.
“Let me go you titan!” he exclaimed, struggling even harder to get out of the center’s grip.
“Sorry Aka-chin.”
“We just don’t want you to do anything rash, Akashi,” Kise whispered, looking up at the male with a sullen expression. Amongst the group, they knew that if Kise didn’t add “chii” to the end of your name, then something serious was happening. “It’s for your own protection. And like Aomine-chii said, there’s a chance it’s not even (F/N).”
“Even so, what was (F/N)-chan doing on the road at this hour?”
Once again, Akashi froze and stop struggling in defeat. “We-we had a fight,” he started. “I..I was working a..and ignoring her...” he could feel his eyes start to water. “...and all she kept saying was that I shouldn’t be working that hard today since it was a special day...I told her it was just an ordinary day...Bokushi took over...I could feel it...I...I slapped her....and told her to leave...”
“But it wasn’t Akashi,” Kuroko replied, “Today was a special day...at least for (F/N).”
“I have every important holiday and occasion marked down, Tetsuya. There was nothing special about today!”
"Apparently, today was a special day. This was the day when you met (F/N)-chan in middle school for the first time.”
That sentence alone caused the male to gasp in realization.
🎶 How could this happen to me?🎶
So it’s my fault he thought as today’s date registered in his head; April 24. He had met you exactly 11 years ago.
“It’s my fault,” he whispered, his voice cracking, as he saw the stretcher go into the ambulance.
🎶 I made my mistakes🎶
“Murasakibara, you can let me down now,” he calmly said. He felt numb; his hands clammy. He could hear and feel his heart breaking. “I won’t run-”
Before the male could finish his sentence, he saw Aomine currently with the driver of the other car, giving him a breathalyzer test. He felt hot tears roll down his face as he saw the person responsible for this incident; his silver hair a huge giveaway.
🎶 Got nowhere to run🎶
The sadness he was feeling temporarily vanished as pure hatred bubbled inside him. “Haizaki!!” he snapped, once again thrashing as Murasakibara’s grip got tighter. “I’m going to kill you!”
“Akashi-chii! You hit my face!”
They all turned and found Aomine placing Haizaki in the back of the police cruiser. What really grabbed their attention was the sympathetic look on his face; the stains of dried tears painted his face.
“Akashi-kun, please calm down,” Momoi said, attempting to calm him down “Getting angry at Haizaki won’t solve anything right now.”
There was something about the tone in her voice that halted Akashi’s motions.
See, it wasn’t your fault, he heard Bokushi say in his mind. It’s Haizaki’s. You did nothing.
Fuck off! It’s your fault
The moment Haizaki was secured in the police car, Aomine walked back to his friends and told Murasakibara to let Akashi go. The red head landed on his feet, only to have Kuroko and Kise holding his arms to stabilize him.
🎶The night goes on As I'm fading away🎶
“I knew that bastard was dumb, but to think he was dumb enough to drink and drive,” Aomine sighed, “And calm down will ya? Like I said at your place, be glad that I’m here or your ass would be in jail for making that threat.”
🎶 I'm sick of this life🎶
From the distance, they could hear the word “clear” come from Midorima who was apart of the group surrounding you by the ambulance.
Akashi was silent, completely ignoring what Aomine had said. In an instant, he got his arm free from Kuroko and Kise’s grip (it wasn’t very strong to begin with) and shoved him out of the way. “(F/N!)” Akashi screamed, making a mad dash towards the ambulance, and towards his friends.“Get out of my way!”
“Oi Akashi-”
Aomine couldn’t finish his sentence, as he and the others saw Akashi’s right eye turn gold; his iris turning a bright red. In an instant, not only did he ankle break past Aomine, but ankle broke the others as they tried to stop him. He past all of them and as he ran, doing the same to the other officers and firefighters who tried to stop him.
Kagami turned around as the sounds of Akashi’s footsteps got louder. “Akashi! Stop!”
“Out of my way, Taiga!” he yelled, leaping at the taller male.
🎶 I just wanna scream🎶
The moment he was about to ankle break past him, Takao stepped away from the group surrounding you and that caused Akashi to stop before he actually hurt someone who was helping with the situation. (Takao was extremely grateful for his hawk eye to be used outside of basketball)
“Woah, calm down Akashi,” Takao said, holding his hands out in front of him as if he was going to push him back. Kagami took this time to get around Akashi and, like Aomine did earlier, held him in a strong grip around his forearm. At the same time, the other members of the Kiseki no Sedai gathered around their former captain.
“How’s (F/N)?” he panted, not even bothering to struggle; he couldn’t think straight-his mind solely focused on you. If you died because of him, he would never forgive himself.
🎶 How could this happen to me?🎶
Midorima then separated from the group and stood next to Takao; both of them wearing solemn looks on their faces; Midorima couldn’t meet Akashi’s eyes.
“Shintaro,” he croaked, his voice hoarse from screaming; his eyes shaking in fear. He knew very well what the answer was, for he saw the white sheet that was covering a body-he just wanted to hear it be confirmed from someone he trusted.
The moment Midorima’s green eyes met Akashi’s red eyes, he knew the answer. It was you.
“We did everything we could, Akashi,” Takao stated, as he gripped Midorima’s hand-the tsundere not caring at this point of what his husband was doing. “We’re so sorry.”
As if having a conversation with their eyes, Midorima stepped aside to let Akashi through; Midorima was willing to bend the rules for his friend. No one should have to go through this-especially someone who was there for him in middle school.
“Woah, Midorima-chii knew what Akashi-chii wanted; they must be psychic,” Kise stated in amazement, only for Aomine to whack him over the head.
With every step he took Akashi felt his heartbeat speed up; he was shaking. He couldn’t wrap his head around this. He didn’t know if he was ready to face you-to even look at you.
There was nowhere for him to run; he knew he could run from his mistakes, but it wouldn’t do anything to bring you back.
🎶 I made my mistakes🎶
He couldn’t help but have flashes of memories that the two of you shared.
Your first encounter with each other
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“I’m (L/N) (F/N), captain of the volleyball team. Nice to meet you Akashi-kun. I hope we can get along, and I’m sorry that you got hit in the head with the volleyball.”
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
His confession
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“Akashi-kun. In regards to the letter you sent me, of course I’ll go out with you” you said with a smile on your face.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
🎶 Got nowhere to run🎶
Your first kiss
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
You were cut off by a pair of lips, gently touching yours.
“I guess I’m officially yours then,” you laughed, with a big smile on your face
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
His Proposal
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“(L/N) (F/N), will you become my empress for the rest of eternity?”
“Of course!” you exclaimed, tears in your eyes as he slipped the ring on your finger.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
🎶 The night goes on As I'm fading away🎶
He finally approached the stretcher, his hands shaking as he gripped the top of the sheet. With his lips quivering and tears threatening to cascade from his eyes, he gently pulled the sheet back to reveal you lying there, with your hair spread around you.
Your face was bruised and there was blood dripping from your nose as well as your lip. The usually calm facial expression you wore when you slept was no longer there.
“F/N”, he stuttered, tears slowly staining his cheeks; some of the tears mixing with the rainwater landing on your bruised face.
He wouldn’t be able to wake up to you in the mornings. Your usual pink lips that were constantly smiling were now forever in a neutral position.
I can’t believe how much you make me smile, Sei; my jaw is always hurting!
Your (e/c) eyes which always twinkled in excitement were forever closed.
“Akashi! Look at that puppy in the window-it’s playing with a mini basketball!”
“(F/N)-” he stated again, this time his voice getting louder as he stroked your cheek, wiping away the mix of rain and tears-his tears- from your face.
The sound of laugh, your voice saying “I love you” was forever silenced.
“Sei-chan! Do your best! I love you!”
His hand left your face and went to hold your hand; his fingers intertwining with yours, but no response; your hands were cold.
“(F-F/N)” he repeated, squeezing your hand. “Please don’t do this to me, love.”
There was no response from you.
He sobbed. “I’m so sorry (F/N)! I’m so so sorry! This was all my fault! I’m sorry I forgot!! Please forgive me! Please?” His voice was getting louder.
He was hoping you would sit up and tell him it’s all okay, that you did forgive him; but there was still no response from you.
🎶 I'm sick of this life🎶
FInally, after resisting the truth for so long, it dawned on him; You were gone and never coming back. He was never going to see his empress again.
All because of him.
He had lost his mother, the first woman in his life who showed him love and compassion, who introduced him to his love of basketball, passed away during his 5th year in elementary school. He never thought that there would be anyone who would show the same amount of love that she did.
But he was wrong...
You showed him that same love and compassion; you were there for him through everything, and even though they have had their fair share of arguments, whether he was right or wrong, you were there for him.
“I love you Sei-chan!”
Once again, he was brought out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder, holding it in a firm grip.
“K-Kagami,” he rasped as he faced the taller male.
“I found this in her car,” he simply said, as he handed him a folded piece of paper.
He took the paper from his hand, his own hand shaking as he opened it-making sure to not break his hold on your hand. There were 8 simple words written on that piece of paper.
Those words finally caused him to break-his true emotions flooding out.
🎶 I just wanna scream🎶
"(F/N)!” he exclaimed, the sound coming out as a combination of a baby crying and a scream. Akashi fell to his knees, still holding onto your hand tightly; he finally let the tears flow freely.
First he loses his mother, and now he lost you. There was only one thought swimming through his mind.
🎶 How could this happen to me?🎶
Damn, this was looooooong.
ANYWAY! I know this was rushed, but I wanted to post this before I went to bed. I will be fixing it tomorrow to address any grammatical errors and formatting errors.
You’re probably wondering how I came up with this. I was listening to “Untitled (Wake Me Maybe Because I’m an All Star) a mash-up of “call me Maybe” "All Star” “Bring me to Life” and “Untitled” (by Simple PLan) and once hearing that, my plot bunnies started throwing carrots at me with ideas to write an angst with this song. Click HERE for the song (Make sure to listen to it while watching the gif-it’s too perfect!!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
Did you know that traffic crashes are the no. 1 killer of teens and nearly one-third of these teen deaths are alcohol related? Drinking and driving is no joke. Please don’t be stupid and drive while intoxicated. If you’re out and are planning on drinking, please have someone as a DD (designated driver), call an uber, or if you’re at a friends house, stay the night until you’re 100% sober; if you’re under the legal age to consume alcohol, for the love of God, DON’T; however if you do, definitely don’t drive. Whether you’re an adult or a young adult, be responsible.
If you have a glass of wine, or one beer at a restaurant, that’s fine, just make sure to drink water and to have some food with it (not really the point, but I don’t want to make it seem like I’m saying drinking is bad overall...)
Don’t risk the lives of others. Not only would you have ruined another families lives, but yours would be ruined as well.
Again, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t drink-just be responsible and if you’re under the legal drinking age, don’t be stupid and drink. Please be responsible. If you have any questions in regards to this topic or want some opinions or even someone to talk to, I’m always willing to listen.
So until next time

Beautiful Liar
Summary: What happens when the person you cherish so much leaves you in the darkness? You're falling down, no one to catch you down there and no one to hold your hand to prevent you from falling down the endless dark pit. You're sinking in quick sand, drowning in the darkest place in the sea. And that's what happened to Kuroko Tetsuya.
He loved each and every one of the Generation of Miracles, and yet they treated him like garbage- playing him for their own sick amusement. After realising that he wasn't meant to be by their side anymore, he broke. He turned, walked away;
And committed suicide.
The Generation of Miracles knew they were wrong. Heck, they wanted to rewind time and slap their past selves for being so inconsiderate for their beloved phantom's feelings. But no one can rewind time, no matter how many times you beg; the clock won't tick backwards.
Five years later, their former manager drags all of them to a boy band concert. As the concert starts, they all see their precious former teammate on stage, singing. Kuroko Tetsuya was still alive, but what happens when he doesn't remember any of them?
Chapter One: My Light That Vanished.
This beautiful lie, My one last lie to you, Even if it hurts, I hide myself under a mask to hide the truth..
"Kuroko, how could you?" A trembling voice asked over the phone, making the one on the other line shake slightly. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.. Ogiwara-kun, please forgive me," the other voice asked in a pleading voice, but the reply he got made him burst into tears. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I can't do it anymore. You're just the same as the other miracles. Cruel and selfish, just like them." The call ended like that, making the tealnette fall to his knees, hot tears streaming down his pale cheeks as he covered his mouth with his hand, trembling violently.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Swoosh.
The sound of the rubber ball being repeatedly dribbled across the floor of Teiko's third gymnasium resounded across the room, only stopping when the basketball player stopped running to throw it into the hoop. The friction between the shoes and the floor, the feeling of a basketball between his hands--
 THUMP!
The sound of the ball bouncing to the rim and to the board and to just make its way back to the floor without shooting; made the player wince, soon his legs gave up and he was kneeling on the floor, beads of sweat running down his neck as he breathed heavily. No matter how many hours I practice, no matter how many times I shoot, not even one would go in... Shaking his head, he took a few deep breathes and stood up, retrieving the ball that rested by the wall soon after he took a shot. He spun on his heel and made his way towards the hoop at the other side of the room, only stopping when he heard the door slide open. Is it time to go back already?
"'Sup!" A not so familiar voice greeted, his eyes scanning around the barely used and the rumored haunted gym. The tealhead player held the orange coloured ball between his hands, staring at the male who just entered. It was rare for someone else to use the third gym, considering it was quite far from the school gate, and some students were just too scared to practice alone or in small groups during the night. It was isolated from the Basketball Club's First till Third Stringers, he had the whole gym completely for himself. The tealnette walked towards the other, about to greet him when he noticed him take a step back, looking slightly (absolutely) terrified.
"Excuse me.." He started, extending his arm to tap his shoulder. The player immediately squatted down, his hands covering both sides of his head.
"I'm sorry for what I did, oh Gods and Goddesses! Dispel evil!" He screamed, his whole body trembling. It would be a lie if the so called 'ghost' denied that he didn't find the male cowering to be an amusing sight. He didn't bother portraying his amusement though, that would be terribly rude. Wait, don't I know him?
"Aomine-kun?"
Aomine stopped chanting prayers and enchantments and slowly turned around, finally noticing the boy who he didn't think he's ever seen nor noticed throughout the entire school year before.
Our first meeting after we enrolled into Teiko Middle School was on the first day of Autumn.
Ever since we met you brought out the bad in me,   Every mirror that I shattered was a sad ending,   As we kept fighting, you told me that I was changing,   All the good things about us were slowly fading.
"Oi, Tetsu!" Tetsuya heard a familiar voice call out to him, but before he could even move to glance who it was, he felt the weight over his shoulders shift, feeling something heavy lean on him. When he looked up, he saw him; the one that encouraged him to play Basketball. The one who taught him to never give up, to persevere his passion for the sport. The one who was his everything.
"Where ya' goin'?" Daiki asked, and as a reply to the question, Tetsuya shook his head lightly. "Nowhere. I was just thinking about taking a walk before heading back home." Soon, they both heard light footsteps, quickly running towards them, getting louder and louder. When they looked over their shoulders, they saw a familiar girl rushing towards them.
"Aomine-kun!" She called, shouting exasperatedly as soon as she reached the two males. "You skipped class today, too! Do you really think you can pass the exams if you keep on acting like this?" She began nagging at the tanned male, reprimanding him firmly to keep his act straight, acting as if the other wasn't there. It was always like this, though Kuroko was quite used to it, actually.
"Tetsu-kun, help me! If he doesn't pass the exam next week, he won't be able to play in next month's game unless he gets an above-average score!" And that's when realization shot through Aomine's mind. "Ha? What do you mean by that?"
The Aquarius released a sigh, pushing him away and standing up properly. "During our basketball game next month, retests will be held by then. If you fail the exam, you'll have to sit in for the retests and thus, taking you right away from playing until the examinations are over. Simply put, fail and you won't be playing basketball. Nijimura-san also said whoever fails cannot practice, either. You'll have to run around the field, until practice is over for one week." That's when the tanned male's face paled, much like a white sheet of paper.
"What?! Why didn't I know this?!" He screamed, making the innocent tealnette cover his ears so he wouldn't have to resort to buying hearing aids. He subconsciously jabbed Aomine's side to stop him from whining and yapping about how he badly needs help. "Maybe if you bothered to attend classes and assemblies, you would've known that, wouldn't you?"
Flinching by his reply, he felt something wrap around his arm and when he turned to see what it was, Momoi was clinging onto him. "That's right, Tetsu-kun~!"
I like being around them. But...
"I don't understand, Tetsu. The more I try, the more it makes it boring." Tetsuya heard the unmotivated tone in his voice, and it made the phantom stop on his tracks. "That's ridiculous, Aomine-kun. You'll find someone soon. I won't say you definitely can do it, but if you quit, you'll definitely won't." Aomine's eyes widened hearing those words, making him turn to the smaller tealnette. "Seriously.." He dragged the other to an alley, leaning towards his ear.
"This is why I love you." The last sentence made the sapphire eyes widen in surprise, and before he knew it, he felt cold lips on his right cheek. "Thanks for always being here for me, Tetsu. I really appreciate it." The Ace wrapped his arms around the shorter male, head resting on his shoulder. "I don't know what I would do without you.."
"Aomine-kun is such an idiot." He blurted out. "I would say the same. If you didn't tell me to stay, I know I wouldn't be here, making all kinds of memories with you and the others." He smiled, and for the first time, Aomine blushed. Wow, teasing him was fun.
"Seriously Tetsu, you're gonna pay for that." With that said, the tealnette felt the same lips again, but on a different place.
They were on his lips.
When they parted, Kuroko froze on his spot and Aomine let out a chuckle. "So cute.."
Soon after, Kuroko pushed him away and turned around, obviously embarrassed with the other's actions. "Idiot."
And they spent the rest of the evening teasing each other.
So, I locked myself up in out dark, cold memories,  As I replay our worst moments like a tragedy,  I was a monster at night who kept coming back,  But when the sun came out, I felt I was under attack.
"Hey, Tetsu. Remember that time when you said I'll find someone worth playing with? Someone worthy enough for me to call a rival?" He asked, and Kuroko nodded. "I do, why?" The taller male stopped and the shorter male looked at him, head lolled to the side.
"I can't find that person." The bluenette went straight to the point, making the Aquarius sigh. This again? "You'll find some--" Before he could even finish talking, the other cut him off with a harsh and tired tone. "When?"
"I'm not sure, but you'll find him." Aomine began laughing, shaking his head. "You just don't get it, do you?" Turning to face his teammate, Kuroko's own sapphire eyes widened when he looked into the other's own eyes.
They were dead.
It didn't have the colour nor the spark it usually did. It didn't have the shine that always reflected the light. His eyes were void of life, needless to say it made Kuroko's heart break. It was just... empty.
"Don't say something that isn't going to happen, Tetsu. The only one who can beat me is me. We both know that." Turning around, he began walking, leaving the petite man all alone by the school gate, deserted. The said male looked down before turning around and walking away, taking a different path home as the lingering feeling of isolation began to grow in him.
Kuroko felt useless. Aomine was there for him, cheering him up, putting a smile on his face, so why couldn't he do the same? He was frustrated by the fact that Teikō's ace was so stubborn. That, or the fact that his friend needs him and he doesn't know what to do. Ignoring him wouldn't do any good, but neither would trying to help him because he rejected all the needed help. Maybe I'll just try one last time..
After practice, Kuroko met with the other, saying that he'll be the one that Aomine was looking for. To his surprise, the latter laughed at him before standing up, pinning him on the lockers. The blue jewels looked bored into the other's, it made Kuroko feel weak and his legs trembled.
"You know Tetsu, you've been really annoying lately." Tetsuya's eyes widened, not believing that the one that was saying this was Aomine. Was the one before him truly his best friend? The one who said 'don't you ever give up'? The one who made his miserable days happy? Him? Aomine Daiki?
It was hard to believe that this was that same boy.
"Remember the time I kissed you? That was so you would just shut up. You actually had the guts to use my words back at me? Pathetic. I never actually had feelings for you, stupid. That's disgusting." Hearing those words, Kuroko looked at the floor, subconsciously clenching both of his fists as tightly as he could. "I don't need you anymore. You're completely worthless to me." With that said, his light took a step back, turned around and walked out of the locker room. And as the void in Tetsuya's heart continued to grow, his world turned dim and so did his hopes of finding the light in Aomine's eyes.
"He left..?" He placed a hand on his chest, clutching it. Looking down, Tetsuya felt as if he couldn't breathe. Those cruel words that his light-- no, former light said, was it true? Was that what he felt? Did he really have no feelings for him at all? "It hurts... Is — Is this what how pain feels like?"
Suddenly, the door opened, revealing a blond boy that the heartbroken child knew all too well... "Kurokocchi.."
I wanna let you go but my heart stays the same, I think it's best to move on,   I feel like letting go, let my heart drift away,   I think it's best if we just go our separate ways..
