On the real though, “Din Djarin doesn’t know what a Star War is” is a funny joke until it isn’t, and people actually start to genuinely question his intelligence or make fun of him incessantly.

The whole point of Din not knowing much about the Jedi, the Clone Wars, and more is supposed to be reflective of how the average person in the galaxy thinks, too. We don’t understand because we have that knowledge from watching Star Wars movies and TV shows that take place during these major events with these specific types of characters, but Din is in Star Wars. He doesn’t just see all this going on.

Honestly, it would be weirder and ill-fitting if Din did know more about the galaxy than he already does. Everything he’s learned has come from his own experiences as a bounty hunter who’s traveled around. Someone who knows as many languages as him and seeks to communicate with everyone is far from unintelligent.

(And yeah, asking everyone if they speak Huttese is a sign of him understanding that that specific language is extremely common in the Outer Rim due to the reach of the Hutts’ empire.)

First off, this is amazing, I love this, I saw your artstyle and thought two things "Oh holy shit thats cool" and "OHHH NEW ARTIST HAS ENTERED THE VILLA!!!"

Secondly to your question, Wisp is 100% Tims IT rubber duck- where can he understand her word for word? no. But he knows VIBES- and usually by rambling to her he solves it for himself (or feeds into his delusions)

As for Wisp that is her baby, her lil chickadee, her smart boy who does the science and cries, and then gets up and does more science- shes so proud, wishes he would cry less, but she assumes its part of the process.
